Having this album is prohibiting my progress in 1001. Stuck on repeat - genius creation

Fear the drear(y)
Piano stabs guitar to death
Can theatrical rock harmonies become too much, yes
An uneventful experience
As distinct as a ginger
What a Debut!
Distinct sound
Too much whimsical acoustic guitar. Dullton FC
Government approved glam rock and roll
A standout, five star album. Though not their best ... 🤔
Of its era
Samples, witty lyrics, edgy rap, great pace and catchy bass riffs
Folk for the radio, folk 3.5
Embellished with the memories of vinyl blemishes that come with inherited records
Good energy
Goldie, positive representative for the genre Though I like mine harder
The musical motifs ask more questions than providing answers
Started strong with that specific Sparks sound, then faded away to ash
An album of two halves, light n darkness Side A 5*, side B 3*
They sound happy
Destination "cooking montage"
Sounded better in 1990
Genre defining, possibly. Sounding better in 2024, definitely
Some awesome riffs 🦔
Creative fun rhymes
French touch
Sample farm
Enjoyed
Big up, Billy Shears
The power The drive
Nicely fills a genre gap in my audio portfolio
Soft soft soft
Outstanding soundtrack for today's run through dappled woodland trails
More science required
Like challenging art ... I remained conflicted ... Occupied by questions ... More impactful than an old masterpiece could ever muster
Classic architecture meets pop art
Cuban electronic fission
They don't give a damn about any trumpet playin' band It ain't what they call "Dad" Rock and Roll
Despite the heavy religious messages, a stone cold classic album
RIP Alright, killed by mainstream media Rest of the album punks
Hit and miss
Country based cocaine inspired sea shanty about our Dolphin overlords
My pallet is not configured for the Cure sound
L.A. Woman's on this afternoon
Yes! And no. But mostly, yes
Lively night at the local
Enjoyed. Expected more punch
Probably better live
Immersive journey
Classic voice though this album felt like a bunch of tracks had been slapped together
After you, no after you. I'm sorry are we facilitating a conventional, formulaic, and oversimplified conception, opinion, or image? Tea anyone
I have always avoided this album, just incase I liked it and became condemned to listening to BBC Radio 2 for the rest of my life
My younger self would have given this five stars. Guess I don't need that much shoe gazing in my life now
Music for not doing things to
Metronome bushy rock
A sound I cannot identify with
I hated this back in 94. Where was the grunge? where was the attitude? Now days I'm more irritated by the MTV audience
More fun than the battle ground of 93
More familiar than I realised and some good Marmite
Unique, timeless. Cornerstone of all music collections
Mainstream agro RAP
Masterpiece from the north American scum
So much quality and depth, every listen reveals. Cool name, cool album cover, top 10 album you hope not everyone knows
Bonus points for including the lyrics "Lair liar with your pants on fire"
Soft content that blurred from track to track to track to track
Buoyantbbackground breathing break
Familiar yet new-to-me. Definitely one for the collection
Every studio album between late 1965 and 1969 is five star in my world
Had never considered listening to this. Will revisit
Flawless. Just ask the axis
Swagger
Many childhood memories connected to this album
Steaming Rodents
Raw, driving, energy, iconic and timeless
Limited variety across the tracks, though still a good listen
My friends called this the "guitarist album" which I never really understood. Just classic driving rock n blues
Strong memories of this LP in my parents collection. Strong arrangements, strong performer, bit meh
In my view. The best album from this four pack.
Fantastic album; had nothing like this in my collection back in the day. Would have given 5 stars, but the awesome follow on album - De La Soul is Dead - took it to another level
My younger self would get quite moody if I didn't award five stars
Elegant pop from the wispy princess
Having this album is prohibiting my progress in 1001. Stuck on repeat - genius creation
High FiVE for Jurassic 5! Reminded me of De La Soul Is Dead
Solid. But too similar throughout
Took me a while to unlock my ears to this album, cream of the crop
Fun, light hearted driving music
Solid
Much less dated sounding than expected
Captivating encounter with an album path frequently walked
First half head banging, second more like banging heads
Clever and crisp rock with genre identity
I hear Nordic noir set in Portishead
Ain't no use in gettin' uptight, just let it groove its own way
Didn't fit the shape of my ears
Hard linked to some tough moments in my past classic but powerfully painful
Great vibe. Tunes seem more individual than an album journey. Though I probably just need to listen more be I understand how the tracks link
Finally puts a voice behind the name
Enjoyed. Instinct tells me this would be a crack gig
Middle of the road (but not in a reckless way)
Outstanding. This has been in my collection for decades and it still keeps giving
Masterfunkingwonderful
Couldn't put it down
First class rhythms from these percussion personalities
What a tracklisting!
Did this album become chill over time, or did music in general become more agro
An everyman classic, for good reason
Slinky soulful
Powerfully popular. Overplayed, yet remains a rewarding listening experience
Faith was everything
Outstanding voice, but the same string arrangement makes everything snoozy
