Red Hot Chili PeppersGood Album, hits are the hits. Anthony’s raps are a little strange for me but his hooks are always elite. Song where he sings are great.

This album is great. It’s a blueprint to indie and emo and a lot of pop music. Mixing kinda trash tho
I get it. Women are cool and have feelings and desires too.
Album is top heavy and that’s okay. The end isn’t as strong. This was probably their intro to the stadium songs. I thought the edge was supposed to play the shit out of guitars so it’s not the best U2 album to listen to as your first U2 album.
Short and sweet. Handful of songs are obvi classics. Paul and John can write cool songs
Every song was cool except confused waitress. Idk much about the history of edm but this probably played a roll. They made this shit in 96 on Windows NT probably.
This was cool, nice to listen to other music from the 60s besides the Beatles. For as much acid as these guys took the subject matter still mostly revolved around getting the girl back. They also have nice voices.
Glam Rock is really great. Music is a lot better when you can be nasty and say what you want. It also helps to have David Bowie produce your sound.
Some early iteration of dad rock here. The guitar riffs were cool. Smoke on the water is just story telling.
Amy is real rap. But this album didn’t have the stand out tracks. Just cool to listen to
Not his best work but it’s up there. Didn’t change the game quite yet but it was a breathe of fresh air. Especially for those who weren’t down with the rugged, braggadocio, get money fuck bitches era of rap at the time.
This was cool, not the most banger filled but it had some jams. Turns out everyone loves drugs. Mick Jagger has a great voice and Kieth Richard’s had some stand out moments but nothing epic.
I think this is the rock equivalent of big room edm. These guys are the modern day ELO. Loud instrument arrangements that make you want to dance. Not the best arcade fire album tho.
They hadn’t started taking risks yet.
This was refreshing. Newman clearly has his own style and unique voice and instrumental arrangements. He sounds like the bar piano player or western times sometimes.
Sounded very experimental and as if all the post punk bands that came out of the UK may have been influenced by this.
I thought the album was full of bangers. Guitar solos were cool. Courtney Love managed. Better 90s rock.
Great sounds, not the biggest fan of the voice.
Cream in my jeans. Not bad.
Classic rock with a bit of swag I suppose.
There’s something to appreciate if you look hard enough.
Jaimie XX carries.
Cool to see where sounds originate.
Nothing to discuss.
Jimbo. Cool psychedelic rock. He sounds like his peers and each song is a bit of a journey.
Pharrell has to be discussed more in general music. Too bad rap isn’t taken seriously outside of the culture.
Radio friendly, safe 90s music. Sweet guitars.
Hallelujah
Real rock music. Punk rock. Great frontman voice.
This is missing some rap verses. Cool to hear sampling and beat making in other genres.
Lord of the Rings.
Great band great album.
Some classic classic rock, Roger Daltrey has a great voice for a rock band.
Carnival rock. Show tunes. But it has some high moments.
Crazy to think this was the hottest shit in America at some point.
ARM YOURSELF WITH KNOWLEDGE
Not a fan of music to murder to
Solo traveler music. Nice to see other people were not traveling through middle earth at this time
This was okay. Really makes you listen for the individual instruments.
This shit has some bangers. Imagine no one believing in you until they saw you live tho
Cool ambient music almost
TPAB
Okay
Timeless music
Almost perfect. Drags at the end
One hit wonder but they’re in the 1001 best albums ever???
Some songs are too long but this is great metal music.
Shout out to Thom Yorke
Definitely is the precursor to hardcore punk bands. Missing some guitar distortion though.
WHO WILL SURVIVE IN AMERICA
This is the album that broke her smh
Live guitars are great
Beyonce was destined to be Beyoncé
Quiet album but it’s okay
Run my hometown
Rest in peeace phife dawg
Protest rap. Good production and authoritative delivery
Reminded me of the shins? Production was pretty unique as I hadn’t heard a trip hop band before
There’s a lot of pain in his voice. He’s also old as shit when he made this.
CCR
Jimbo
