Lyrically, nothing special. But that acoustic guitar, man that was good. Very unique playing style I can't say I have heard before. Solid 7 out of 10 just for that.

Where does Pulp get their inspiration? They go from existential crisis to having the same initial as Jesus. Overall pretty good, not bad.

Late 90's D&B, I'm no fan of D&B. This wasn't bad in the beginning, but it fell victim to the classic D&B issue. They fall too heavy on the drum portion, the songs were very one tone by the end of the album.

Overall, not great grunge. Everything was a little too harsh and unrefined for my liking. If thats how grunge is, then it ain't for me.

This album was a sweet combination of rock and what sounds like funk to me. The guitar player swaps back and forth from strong riffs to groovy beats. And the singer has real character with his singing style. Wicked

The mother fucking prince of darkness! Ozzy comes in hot with a bunch of his time less classics. Those long drawn out riffs and vocals are what make him unique. A few songs on this album fell a bit short for my liking, but the hits out shadow the lows by a mile.

Prince brings the sex appeal that's for sure. With a sexy voice/time and even sexier lyrics. Catchy album for sure. And Purple Rain was a fantastic closing song. I enjoyed this album

I miss the old Kanye. Not my favorite Kanye album, but it is produced well. I found myself singing along to the chorus and singing more so than the rap lyrics. Good features, my favorite being Jamie Fox. That outro story was a little long winded.

I didn't recognize any of the songs on this album, but I'm not a huge fan of Queen and this album didn't change nothing for me.

Kanye brings the heat! They call him the GOAT for a reason. I definitely enjoyed this album, but a few songs fall short for me. A solid feature list with banger songs. The end of Blame Game with Chris Rock was strange tho, but I guess Kanye is a strange man.

Beck has an almost poetic way of blending genres and creating wild and creative beats while also throwing in nonsense for lyrics ( catchy nonsense). I think he's trying to influence us all on a subconscious level we don't full understand yet. A true artist.

Fly me to Memphis! I want Dusty! This album started off strong for me with some very catchy tunes. But faded for me in the second half of the album. Son of a Preacher Man's opening sounds like the opening to Hits From the Bong by Cyprus Hill.

"I'll sew your asshole closed and keep feeding you and feeding you." Now that's good 90's rap. What a wicked album, many of the songs are bangers with fantastic beats. The members all bring their own flair to the group while everyone sounds in tune with everyone else. The 90's were a great time with great rap, but this album truly stands out as one of the better albums of the decade. I have returned to edit: Apon further review, this album gets a 5. It's nothing but bangers from start to finish. This could hype up anybody and I stand by that!

This was my first Beatles album I've listened to back to back and I'm quiet impressed. I found myself humming or singing along to quite a few tracks. What a great experience.

I'm digging the rock and roll Willie. This album was a win for me, all of the long songs never felt too like they went on too long and there were some great instrument solos. And a funky song near the end that surprised me, Running Dry was the song.

I've never been a Nirvana fan, I've always struggled to understand what the hell he was saying. Apon first listen with lyrics on, that thought was cemented. Catchy hits peppered with some strange ones, like Rape Me.

And Hollowed be my Name was one of the best closing song in a album I have heard in a long time. I find a lot of albums close on a softer/ calmer tone. But not this one, guitar rifts and epic singing right to the last drum beat!

Jack White brings the heat! For a man who looks like a vampire, he sure can rock out. What a fantastic album, every song had such a unique sound. Nothing slowed down in creativity, from the guitar, the wickedly placed piano and the strong lyrics. It takes a lot for a 5 star review (probably stemming from my picky music taste) but this album gets it for sure, hands down!

Nothing stands out that much to me. Generic instruments, boring lyrics, maybe great for the early 90's. But it doesn't hold through the years

A simple line, but a powerful one. "Change my pitch up, smack my bitch up". A strong start to an album that doesn't let up in the slightest all the way through. Wicked beats, simple yet strong lyrics, awesome sampling and scratching. It doesn't get much better than this for early dance music. Prodigy sets the stage for a shift in EDM that will resonate for years to come with faster beats and stylized mixing. A perfect album in my eyes. Favorite song: Narayan

The melodies and style of singing match really well, even if I can't understand the lyrics, I feel like I can still understand the message to these songs. This ambient/ progressive /rock style is pretty cool. And the piano adds a nice touch. A bit strange at times but still cool.

I was a bit worried about this album in the beginning. But it turned out not bad. Lots of fun noises and looping to make a creative sound and album. Pretty decent!

The so called Prince of Darkness. The first song lives up to that title. It was dark, creepy and a prefect song to set a dark tone. Then the album shifted a bit, faster rifts and what sounded like a bit of country guitar to me. Overall decent, but I wouldn't listen to it again.

I've never been a huge fan of the singers voice/style, but man did this album have a lot of classic songs from The Offspring. I recognized half of songs. Not bad, good energy, quotable lyrics.

Jimi, a legend. This must have been a revolutionary sound for 67. Personally, it was just fine for me. I guess it's just not my jam

A singer with a beautiful voice, wonderful instruments and great story telling. But God damn is this album long. I found my self getting burnt out half way through. To an avid fan of the artist, this is probably a great album. But to me, wayyyyy to long. I would love to travel back in time to see a live performance in a dark jazz club, what an experience that would be. 7/10 (lost points for being too long)

This album has such a unique sound. The instruments perfectly set the stage for the lyrics, the male female performance is beautiful. This felt like a musical journey through the life of 2 people and it blew me away. What a fantastic 38 minutes, short but doesn't let down at all. Stunning!

Is felt like a strange combination of hair metal and the band Wheatus. It was just fine, nothing really stood out to me except the strange placement of a mysterious brass instrument

I like the twang of that guitar 🎸. Deep Purple has the right balance of beats and rhythm that hits well and doesn't repeat in a boring. Paired with solid vocals, this album is entertaining for sure. 8/10

The album artwork doesn't match the music. This is my first experience with Meat Loaf; he kind of reminds me of Elton John. Overall, it wasn't a bad album, but it's not a sound I would normally listen to. It had a nice variety of instruments, and it had plenty of energy. But it won't be played again. 5/10

The lead guitarist can sure play that thing! Pretty heavy for the Alt rock I've listen too. Pretty sweet. I wasn't overly thrilled about the vocalist. 6/10

A solid WS album. But not my favorite I would say. That last song made me laugh.

I can see why the hippies liked this band. The beginning mostly instrumental was too long for my liking, but the rest of the album was good and catchy. I liked how there wasn't a lot of crowd cheering like in most live albums.

My first Clapton album. I wasn't bad, I shot the Sheriff is great, other then that, not a whole lot to take away from. Easy listening, but nothing stood out that strongly for me. Good campfire music, that's about it.

Well this is Indie as fuck! This album definitely has a unique sound to it. I'm far from an avide indie indulgeder and this genre is not my style. But I can give it a little credit, very unique indeed. I won't be listening to this again and my low rating is based of of personal taste only.

Who's blood is on the tracks? Bobby has quite a rang of lyrics and song writing. And that harmonica sure can sing. Would I put this album on by choice, no. But it was enjoyable for a few songs. He looks like Gene Simmons in the album art.

Prince is back and sexy as ever. I didn't enjoy this album as much as Purple Rain. But I can appreciate the wide variety and range of the instruments over this album. I nice mix of keyboard and brass. Prince sure does love his slow love making.

Ch Ch Changes! Bowie is heavy with the piano. It has that classic Bowie energy, fast paced and energetic. The rest of the band also shines next to the main paino tune. Solid album!

God damn that guitar is funky! God damn that bass in funky! God damn those drums are banging! I knew going into this that this was arguably The Peppers best album. And it proves it. With such classics as Give It Away and Under The Bridge. This album rocks!

What a wild album cover. The first track reminds me of the Donkey Kong Rap introduction from the Nintendo 64. Early hip hop and 80's synth, what a combo. A good amount of samples that would be used in later songs and bands, like Renegades of Funk by Rage Against the Machine. 3.5/5

LS can be considered one of the rock and roll GOATS. I can't say for sure if that's true. But damn can they jam! Everything member brings a Steeler contribution to the sound and that southern twang plays nicely into their tune. With classics such as Simple Man and of course Free Bird. This is a Steeler album. Damn near a 10 for me but something is holding me back. A solid 9 put of 10 though. Rest in peace

On my second playthrough of this album I started to enjoy it. I was a bit surprised. I don't have much to say except this could enter my regular rotation with some more time with it.

A early 2000's classic. Growing up this was a popular album for my age group. I knew many friends who owned it. Full of classics like American Idiot and Wake Me Up When September Ends. Green Day has some strong themes and it comes off well. I was a fan of the double tracks that blend into each other. Great album

The wiki article says ", and blends glam and pop stylings with avant-garde approaches". Avant-garde indeed. I don't think Brian Eno is ok.

"You have to film MTV cribs for a week". Jay Z has flow! This man is seriously talented in his writing. He has excellent pacing and all his lyrics come off clean. I wouldn't say his beats are my favorite, but they do match his lyrics well. Overall impressive, just not my style of rap. There was a nice variety amongst this album, from growing up poor to straight up gangster shit. Favorite song Hola' Hovito , "If I ain't better then BIG, then I'm the closet one" 7 out of 10

With this group sometimes you come across something truly unique. Magazine has done that here. From spacey beats to wild post punk lyrics. They have crafted an album that truly stands out to me.

What a banger, this album spoke greatly to a teenaged Ryan. From the high energy songs, to the great vocal range from Chester Bennington (RIP). This album came out of the gates strong and didn't let up for a second. Big points for the scratching/turntable work, it adds a great flair to most songs.

The megaphone master! The king of rock. Great old school hip hop mixed with rock and roll. Run DMC are legends for a reason. The song where they try and order a big Mac from KFC made me laugh.

Short, aggressive, rough, abrasive. Now this is hardcore! I probably would have given this album a lower rating of it was longer. The length is what makes this album special. It's a 16 minute long flurry of raw emotions that is just a wild ride. Great album, this one is going in my back pocket for a special occasion.

Mr Piano himself. Great album full of energy and variety. The Jamaican song was particularly good. EJ has a certain charm with the piano that is iconic. Paired with a voice of an angel, he is a legend amongst men.

What an album! For a "Punk" trio, they sure threw in a lot of genres. I was initially intimidated by the track listing, but it plays off well with good variety. Some strange tracks pepperd in there too. Kinda fun, won't revisit.
