The TemptationsPappa was a rolling stone. Pretty good soul. I listened to this while mowing the lawn

I miss the old Kanye. Not my favorite Kanye album, but it is produced well. I found myself singing along to the chorus and singing more so than the rap lyrics. Good features, my favorite being Jamie Fox. That outro story was a little long winded.
I didn't recognize any of the songs on this album, but I'm not a huge fan of Queen and this album didn't change nothing for me.
Not a big Bowie fan. This one didn't hot any good notes with me. Pretty boring
Can't say I'm a huge reggae fan. It was fine I guess
A few songs were catchy, but overall, a bit boring
Sounds a bit like a gospel from a church. Nothing really stuck out to me on this album.
Great soft rock. A sound that chills you out. Perfect for a Sunday drive or sitting around the campfire.
Decent rock. A little soft for my like but had some good rifts and lyrics. I probably won't revisit this album
Wicked hip hop. I like the speed and clarity of the lyrics and beats, it was very easy to follow along too which is essential to the genre (for me anyways) I'll be revisiting this album for sure.
Nothing really stood out to me that much besides the big hits.
Billy Joel is a fantastic story teller and singer. With plenty of catchy tunes and famous songs, I sang all to quite a few songs from this album. Excellent
Kanye brings the heat! They call him the GOAT for a reason. I definitely enjoyed this album, but a few songs fall short for me. A solid feature list with banger songs. The end of Blame Game with Chris Rock was strange tho, but I guess Kanye is a strange man.
It was fine. I did notice a nice inclusion of brass instruments.
What ever genre this is. I don't like it.
Pretty sweet album. It's very unique in a white stripes kind of way. Would listen to again.
Some decent synth pop, a little slow for my liking.
This album started of real strong for me. But slowly tapered off.
Pretty decent for a debut album. Punk that feels a bit light with some easy listening songs.
Leonard Cohen tells a story here. A story that put me to sleep.
1 song was a bit slow for my liking. 8/10
Fish cakes. It was very Gothic. Nice bass rifts. FS: In fear of fear. Kat is not a fan
80's pop is far from what I'm used too. But still enjoyable. A few rhythms feel like they were stolen for future songs
The opening intro was too long. The singer is way too soft spoken for me. This whole album feels boring. Not sure how it beat Nirvana
Beck has an almost poetic way of blending genres and creating wild and creative beats while also throwing in nonsense for lyrics ( catchy nonsense). I think he's trying to influence us all on a subconscious level we don't full understand yet. A true artist.
Enjoyable.
I enjoyed the first half a lot. Lyrics were top notch. But the beats didn't have a lot of variety per song. The second half of the album lost me with too much singing
Fun, colorful and poppy. I liked it
I think I enjoy my country to be a bit more upbeat. This was a calming album, but a bit depressing at times. He's a hell of a harmonica player tho!
Very nice. Rap from a time when you could understand and relate too
I enjoyed most of this album even tho I'm not a huge Young fan. Good music for a road trip
This album gave me depressed vampire vibes and then it shifted to depressed vampires in space. By the final songs I was glad it was over. Will not listen again
Frank ocean can make any topic sexy. Fucking guy could make the Holocaust sounds hot. He even has a song about Dragon Ball Z. I normally don't seek this kind of music out unless I'm trying to get laid. But I enjoyed this quiet a bit. FS: Pyramids
Not a huge fan of Lenny
You like Jazz?
Give me a pirate hat and let's set sail! This album makes me want to drink, laugh and enjoy a nice body of water. Overall good vibes.
Meh
They aimed to satisfy. I am satisfied. Very psychedelic with a nice progression through the album.
I have always really enjoy the popular songs from YYY. But the rest of there songs leave me wanting more. Beautiful voice from the singer.
It was just fine. Nothing blew my socks off. That's 70's rock for you
Better than the Bowie album. This kind of 70's rock is more enjoyable to my ear. There were a couple songs I enjoyed
G&R gives me big American vibes. Sex, rock and roll and not giving a fuck.
Very interesting. And weird. Not my jam
My first album from Prince. I enjoyed it. It was funky, sexy and a bit weird at times but in a majestic way.
Fly me to Memphis! I want Dusty! This album started off strong for me with some very catchy tunes. But faded for me in the second half of the album. Son of a Preacher Man's opening sounds like the opening to Hits From the Bong by Cyprus Hill.
Rasta eh? I don't mind the genre, but I would never seek it out. Pretty good, not bad
U2 have never really interested me. But this was enjoyable enough
All the best Deep purple song with some wicked solos. Kat did not approve
Good American rock. Good guitar rifts and drums. A solid album
Sexy and fun. James Brown brings the soul!
It was fine. I've never been a huge LZ fan. All of their songs felt a bit dull.
Should we make 18 minute long songs more common. Yes. My Soul feels hot and buttered after listening to this. An excellent listen
I liked it.
It was fine. The whole album had a decent tone and sound but no individual song jumped out at me.
I have always heard this album was hype and boy did it live up to the hype. All of the hits I've heard over the years are bangers and the rest of the album holds up great too. The first 5 star from me
I have always heard this album was hype and boy did it live up to the hype. All of the hits I've heard over the years are bangers and the rest of the album holds up great too. The first 5 star from me
It was fine. I jammed to a few songs. I would have enjoyed more variety between the songs.
This was awesome. This album was full of life great lyrics and a guitar that was singing from front to back. I'll add this album to my personal library!
I can't say I'm a huge Queen fan. 1 or 2 songs weren't bad.
Well, that was strange. This album left me with mixed feelings. Some songs were good. Some felt like I was wandering in the desert on peyote.
It was strange. I don't think I'm a big fan of that much variety. The lead singer sounds like he has been smoking cigarettes for 100 years.
It was fine. Can't say I've listened to much British rock besides the big bands. The whole album has a very British feeling that feels just dull to me
A story of love and heartbreak. I enjoyed this album more than I expected and the hits hit hard. Rumor has it he's the one I'm leaving you for!
I quite enjoyed this.
Bruuuuuceeeee Spriiiinnnngggssssttteeeeeeeen! There is a lot of Xylophone in the first few songs and I like it. Maybe it was a piano, I still enjoy it. There is a nice mix of instruments in this album, I believe I heard the trumpet 🎺. I think I will rate this on a 3.5 out of 5
Not bad. My appreciation for soul is limited.
A lot of alt rock is hit or miss for me. This one was a miss. Some songs were enjoyable. But overall the album was dull
British rock.... What can I say that hasn't been said before. It was probably great at the time. But it's not for me.
Besides a couple of hit songs. It was alright. Alt rock is really hot or miss with me.
I would give this a higher vote if I could understand the singer lol. I've always struggled to make out what the lead singer was mumbling.
What a great album. Miriam has an outstanding voice and rhythm that just flows. I listened to it a few times in the car and it was great everytime. Kat enjoyed it too
Not a fan
"I'll sew your asshole closed and keep feeding you and feeding you." Now that's good 90's rap. What a wicked album, many of the songs are bangers with fantastic beats. The members all bring their own flair to the group while everyone sounds in tune with everyone else. The 90's were a great time with great rap, but this album truly stands out as one of the better albums of the decade.
Not bad. I can't even name a Judas Priest song off the top of my head.
Apon first listen to this album. I'm not sure how I felt about it. Not a fun fan of the singer and lyrics. The whole album felt odd to me. Strange album artwork too
Damn son. What a start to my day, this is sick. I definitely enjoyed this, this is Somme good industrial for sure.
Not bad.
Bad bad. Not my jame
Pretty good! This feels like quality hair metal (if that's the right genre) 7 out of 10
This was my first Beatles album I've listened to back to back and I'm quiet impressed. I found myself humming or singing along to quite a few tracks. What a great experience.
I'm digging the rock and roll Willie. This album was a win for me, all of the long songs never felt too like they went on too long and there were some great instrument solos. And a funky song near the end that surprised me, Running Dry was the song.
Nothing stood out to me in this album. It was just fine
Johnny got those convicts rocking! A nice highlight of a great selection of Johnny Cash songs with quality bantter and comments between songs.
Sounds like a synthetic ride through the galaxy! Turn me on with your electric feel, shock me like an electric eel!
Que Vida! Is one interesting song lol. Somebody loves the flute in She Comes In Colors.
I like the feel of this album and the variety between singers. I wouldn't mind a few more listens to make a true assessment, but it's positive so far.
That's was some aggressive jazz
Roses smell like poo poo lol. Outcast bring a nice sexy tone to rap. With creative beats and lyrics about love, this album stands out to me. And there are some killer features in this album too. It's a bit long for my liking, but still a solid album.
Revolutionary for the time? Maybe, but it ain't winning me over.
Not great, Some good songs, some very strange sons
That's some pretty good country
I've always enjoyed Steven Tyler, but this album didn't stand out to me that much.
Pretty good. Felt very similar to the last Johnny Cash album we listened to
I liked this album a lot! Duran brings the vibe. The flute and the xilaphone hit well for me. And exceptional sound design and pacing through the album
As I listened to this album I couldn't help but think about the strangely odd but catchy song design. Reminds me of Beck, but with lyrics that make a bit more sense. Some songs were a bit slow for my liking. Fs- Rade Winds
Not bad. No comments
This was my first Talking Heads album. The lyrics made me laugh a bit, it seems like he's just singing about ordinary day to day things lol. Pretty good
Get your cowboy boots on and holster your big iron because we be cowboys today. Excellent country
I've never been a Nirvana fan, I've always struggled to understand what the hell he was saying. Apon first listen with lyrics on, that thought was cemented. Catchy hits peppered with some strange ones, like Rape Me.
Fun fun fun of the Autobahn. Not bad, the first song was good, the rest got a bit weird.
Pretty good Hendrix. He's a legend for a reason. I didn't hear any of the iconic songs I know and I'm not a huge fan of his style that much anyways. 3.5 / 5
Cohen has a story to tell and I'm not interested
ive heard better soul
Pretty good. I enjoyed the blend of a few geners here. Pretty catch tunes.
Electricity was an interesting song. And the rest of the album was the same. Without looking it up, I'm hoping the start contrast of singing voices is the same guy lol. Overall not bad
Pretty good R&B I think? My ear for genres is still developing. She tells a story about love and life and career, it was good.
It was strange
Good album with some nice hits. I can see why they are popular.
Not really my style. But it was enjoyable
Not bad, it was a bit gritty in a good way. Decent music to drive around too
Pretty good hip hop. I liked how gritty it sounded and the sound effects in the early songs were sick!
Well... Not really my style of music personally. I would have listened to it again but the end of the album really turned me off.
Pretty good album. Classic songs from my childhood
The white stripes are back and I'm digging it! I enjoyed this album better than the last one.
Catchy, but not worth revisiting imo
Now that's solid country!
Not my favorite Bowie experience
Lots of classic beats. I recognized lots of samples to be used by future artists. Solid!
Tom Waits is back and he's wild! The entire time I was listening to this album, I felt like an animal in the jungle sensing danger all around me. He's got a very primal, angry style that makes me a bit uncomfortable. FS: In The Colloseum
Interesting album. But alas, Talking Heads are always interesting. It was catchy
Pretty sweet album.
Older Foo Fighters is not what I'm used to. Definitely grittier and grungy. Pretty decent
Weird, spacey, slow and boring.
Who is this Frank guy? Pretty decent. I liked the 🎷
Great scratching, great lyrics. Good rap!
Groove will unite us all. Crazy good energy all the way though this album. The lyrics got a bit weird in the middle but that final guitar solo saved the day.
I enjoyed this a lot more than the last Bjork album. What a wild sound, the woman is crazy, in a good way!
Pretty good 90's EDM
Nothing stood out to me in theis album. Pretty boring
I would expect to hear this music in a black and white movie about a French woman who is lonely. Smoooooooth saxophone pair with calming vocals. Great album
We are North American Scum! Pretty cool album, mixed with lots of fun sounds and beats. Pretty good
The age when metal was alive and thriving. Pretty solid album even tho I'm not a huge Iron Maiden fan. Run To The Hills is a classic. And Hollowed be my Name was one of the best closing song in a album I have heard in a long time. I find a lot of albums close on a softer/ calmer tone. But not this one, guitar rifts and epic singing right to the last drum beat!
I am the Quarry. It wasn't bad. Not my jam really. Pretty decent lyrics
Meh. Not a fan of this style of country
Not bad. The subtleties of Irish music is lost on me. But there were some pretty good songs on this album
Is London Calling? Not for me it ain't. Overall nothing stood out to me except the first song and some real wacky sound effects later in the album
Early rap feels like a whole different world compared to today's hits. But they still got it. Great beats, clean lyrics that aren't dry. I can see why people still rock the shirts and stickers still
I'm curious if this was one of the voted in albums. Pretty sweet, very unique, pretty chill. I'm going to revisit this on the weekend
The was meh for me. Wu-Tang hit hard for me, the solo album from a member just didn't have the same vibe. Nothing notible in this album minus a couple decent lines.
Pretty good. I can hear the glitch Hop origins. It got a bit strange for a bit there.
Cloud nine was a great song. Good lyrics but it was a bit slow for me. I like the faster, upbeat soul/funk
Ahhhh DB. Starts off not bad, got real annoying with that slow saxophone on the second last song. Too much so instrumentals.
Pretty lame and full of strange sounds a noises. I didn't like this album at all
Is Brian Wilson ok? This album sounds like it was written by his child. Lots of strange sounds from slide whistles and questionable lyrics about vegetables.
Jimmy can make that guitar sing! Lots of great songs with wicked guitar in it (expected from Jim). I found the album to be a bit long tho
Not bad. But nothing stood out to me. Pretty average metal album
From the legend himself. Good story telling in this album, nice and calming.
Better than most British rock bands I have come across. I definitely enjoyed some songs enough to want to listen to them again.
This album left me confused and a bit scared honestly.
You like jazz? Meh, I prefer my jazz with some lyrics
Jazzy Rege? I like it!. It got a bit slow in the middle of the album.
Classic country. I wasn't a huge fan
Great album. Lots of energy and variety the whole way through
This has given me hope for more excellent British rock! This album must have been revolutionary for 1965. Lots of great songs in it! Old white woman everywhere must have thought they were possessed by the devil!
