This album left me confused and a bit scared honestly.

David Bowie
2/5
Ahhhh DB. Starts off not bad, got real annoying with that slow saxophone on the second last song. Too much so instrumentals.

The Prodigy
5/5
A simple line, but a powerful one. "Change my pitch up, smack my bitch up". A strong start to an album that doesn't let up in the slightest all the way through. Wicked beats, simple yet strong lyrics, awesome sampling and scratching. It doesn't get much better than this for early dance music. Prodigy sets the stage for a shift in EDM that will resonate for years to come with faster beats and stylized mixing. A perfect album in my eyes. Favorite song: Narayan

Robert Wyatt

What is with the first song? Nevermind I understand, this album is about a seaman going crazy. Or Robert Wyatt's decent into madness.

Iggy Pop
2/5
Just fine. Nothing stood out and I didn't hate it
Laibach
3/5
German, patriotic, Winston Churchill, lazer beams. What a ride
Fever Ray
4/5
Well that was different, in a good way. This album stood out a lot to me for the way and style of the instruments. Kinda felt like I was wondering in a somber jungle for a bit there. The singers voice was a bit harsh for my liking. But I enjoyed this a fair bit overall. Unique and consistent
The Killers
3/5
Some absolute bangers on this album. But the rest fell a bit short.
Soundgarden
4/5
Wicked album! Everything was sick. Vocals, guitar, drums. 9 out of 10
Black Sabbath
4/5
The mother fucking prince of darkness! Ozzy comes in hot with a bunch of his time less classics. Those long drawn out riffs and vocals are what make him unique. A few songs on this album fell a bit short for my liking, but the hits out shadow the lows by a mile.
Beth Orton
2/5
Way too slow. Not my jam really. And not a fan of acoustic guitar really.
Taylor Swift
3/5
Pretty decent from T Swizzle. Slower then I expected but there were some pretty catchy songs. My favorite was the one where she was going to help murder her friends husband
Steely Dan
3/5
Just fine. A few songs stood out to me like Rikki Don't Lose That Number and Night by Night. But the rest kinda fell flat.
The Doors
2/5
Not bad. Good bye Jim Morrison
Miles Davis
1/5
The second track killed it for me. 27 minutes is too long and the trumpet was too high pitched. I didn't go any farther
The Sugarcubes
4/5
Early Bjork is great. Nice to hear the roots before her solo career.
The Youngbloods
2/5
Where is the elephant mountain? Just ok, nice variety of instruments. Early rock is quite tame
Santana
3/5
Boy oh boy does that guitar sing
Depeche Mode
4/5
What a great album. Multiple songs I recognized and sang along too. And I discovered a few more I enjoyed. Soild from start to finish
Orbital
3/5
Not bad. I could see how Orbital could set the stage for music that belongs in the Matrix. FS Halcyon on + on
Dire Straits
2/5
I'm not exactly sure what the plan was for this album. It started off with 2 classics then mellows out with the saxophone. 5 out of 10
The Human League
3/5
80's synth pop! What a ride. A nice blend of instruments accompanying the constant keyboard.
Aretha Franklin
2/5
Not my type of music at all. But that woman can sing. So it gets a couple starts for that
Beatles
3/5
An album full unique tracks and a few very strange ones. Overall, pretty good. The strange tracks kind of killed it for me and it was a bit too long for my liking. 7 out of 10
Sade
3/5
Smoooooooooth operator. Smooth, funky and sexy.
Neil Young & Crazy Horse
3/5
A more somber, and dark side of Neil. Strong, emotional lyrics with a slower tune. Neil was sad when he wrote this album. Pretty good. But too Depressing for me.
Blue Cheer
2/5
Sounds like a jam session with the boys! Nothing stood out to me
Missy Elliott
3/5
Missy sure can make some catchy tunes. She has a good lyrics and beats and doesn't default to raping about her junk like most modern female rappers. 7/10
King Crimson
2/5
They lost me at Moonchild. First half of the album was great. But the slower, stranger second half lost me.
The Rolling Stones
3/5
Rock and roll classics from my childhood. Good lyrics, singing and did I hear some xialpone? Pretty good.
The Jam
2/5
Lame English rock. Boring except for the drums every once in a while
Beastie Boys
2/5
I can't say I'm a huge BB fan. Their flow feels rough and harsh. There were a couple bangers on her like Fight for Your Right and No Sleep Till Brooklyn. But other then that. I wasn't impressed
Elliott Smith
3/5
Not bad. Sam Smith has that pop/folk sound that is gentle on the ears. While only a few songs really stood out to me. It was an easy listening experience.
Prince
4/5
Prince brings the sex appeal that's for sure. With a sexy voice/time and even sexier lyrics. Catchy album for sure. And Purple Rain was a fantastic closing song. I enjoyed this album
Beatles
4/5
Solid Beatles album. The variety in the song is insane. They truly can do it all. All the songs were great.
Cee Lo Green
2/5
This album was comically bad haha. From unimpressive lyrics to straight up mumbling. The only thing that redeemed this album was the hilarious beats, so bad it was good. Felt like I was in a circus for a while there lol
Steely Dan
2/5
Definitely not a Steely Dan guy. This did not intrest me in the slightest. Not awful, but I would never listen to this
Jungle Brothers
3/5
Funky stylish beats. Solid lyrics and clean to boot, a far comparison to modern hip hop where it's rare to hear a track with cursing or violent themes. Well done
The Stooges
2/5
Meh. I didn't enjoy this album. Not awful, but not good. Most of the songs weren't memorable and I was a fan of the singer
Talking Heads
3/5
Not bad. I like the song about air being scary. These guys must write there music from fever dreams lol. It's definitely creative, I would lump them together with Beck. Creative, but strange. 6/10
Stephen Stills
4/5
Pretty good. Easy music to listen too, maybe around a campfire fire.
The Temptations
3/5
Pappa was a rolling stone. Pretty good soul. I listened to this while mowing the lawn
Kanye West
3/5
I miss the old Kanye. Not my favorite Kanye album, but it is produced well. I found myself singing along to the chorus and singing more so than the rap lyrics. Good features, my favorite being Jamie Fox. That outro story was a little long winded.
Queen
2/5
I didn't recognize any of the songs on this album, but I'm not a huge fan of Queen and this album didn't change nothing for me.
David Bowie
2/5
Not a big Bowie fan. This one didn't hot any good notes with me. Pretty boring
Burning Spear
2/5
Can't say I'm a huge reggae fan. It was fine I guess
Pulp
2/5
A few songs were catchy, but overall, a bit boring
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
2/5
Sounds a bit like a gospel from a church. Nothing really stuck out to me on this album.
Van Morrison
4/5
Great soft rock. A sound that chills you out. Perfect for a Sunday drive or sitting around the campfire.
Mott The Hoople
3/5
Decent rock. A little soft for my like but had some good rifts and lyrics. I probably won't revisit this album
Fugees
4/5
Wicked hip hop. I like the speed and clarity of the lyrics and beats, it was very easy to follow along too which is essential to the genre (for me anyways) I'll be revisiting this album for sure.
R.E.M.
2/5
Nothing really stood out to me that much besides the big hits.
Billy Joel
4/5
Billy Joel is a fantastic story teller and singer. With plenty of catchy tunes and famous songs, I sang all to quite a few songs from this album. Excellent
Kanye West
4/5
Kanye brings the heat! They call him the GOAT for a reason. I definitely enjoyed this album, but a few songs fall short for me. A solid feature list with banger songs. The end of Blame Game with Chris Rock was strange tho, but I guess Kanye is a strange man.
Ice T
2/5
It was fine. I did notice a nice inclusion of brass instruments.
Pixies
2/5
What ever genre this is. I don't like it.
The White Stripes
4/5
Pretty sweet album. It's very unique in a white stripes kind of way. Would listen to again.
Japan
2/5
Some decent synth pop, a little slow for my liking.
ABBA
3/5
This album started of real strong for me. But slowly tapered off.
Wire
2/5
Pretty decent for a debut album. Punk that feels a bit light with some easy listening songs.
Leonard Cohen
2/5
Leonard Cohen tells a story here. A story that put me to sleep.
Fleetwood Mac
4/5
1 song was a bit slow for my liking. 8/10
Bauhaus
3/5
Fish cakes. It was very Gothic. Nice bass rifts. FS: In fear of fear. Kat is not a fan
Dexys Midnight Runners
3/5
80's pop is far from what I'm used too. But still enjoyable. A few rhythms feel like they were stolen for future songs
Teenage Fanclub
1/5
The opening intro was too long. The singer is way too soft spoken for me. This whole album feels boring. Not sure how it beat Nirvana
Beck
4/5
Beck has an almost poetic way of blending genres and creating wild and creative beats while also throwing in nonsense for lyrics ( catchy nonsense). I think he's trying to influence us all on a subconscious level we don't full understand yet. A true artist.
Arcade Fire
3/5
Enjoyable.
Lauryn Hill
3/5
I enjoyed the first half a lot. Lyrics were top notch. But the beats didn't have a lot of variety per song. The second half of the album lost me with too much singing
Dirty Projectors
4/5
Fun, colorful and poppy. I liked it
Willie Nelson
3/5
I think I enjoy my country to be a bit more upbeat. This was a calming album, but a bit depressing at times. He's a hell of a harmonica player tho!
A Tribe Called Quest
4/5
Very nice. Rap from a time when you could understand and relate too
Neil Young
3/5
I enjoyed most of this album even tho I'm not a huge Young fan. Good music for a road trip
My Bloody Valentine
1/5
This album gave me depressed vampire vibes and then it shifted to depressed vampires in space. By the final songs I was glad it was over. Will not listen again
Frank Ocean
4/5
Frank ocean can make any topic sexy. Fucking guy could make the Holocaust sounds hot. He even has a song about Dragon Ball Z. I normally don't seek this kind of music out unless I'm trying to get laid. But I enjoyed this quiet a bit. FS: Pyramids
Lenny Kravitz
2/5
Not a huge fan of Lenny
Jimmy Smith
3/5
You like Jazz?
The Velvet Underground

Various Artists
2/5
Meh
Red Snapper
4/5
They aimed to satisfy. I am satisfied. Very psychedelic with a nice progression through the album.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs
3/5
I have always really enjoy the popular songs from YYY. But the rest of there songs leave me wanting more. Beautiful voice from the singer.
David Bowie
2/5
It was just fine. Nothing blew my socks off. That's 70's rock for you
Better than the Bowie album. This kind of 70's rock is more enjoyable to my ear. There were a couple songs I enjoyed
Guns N' Roses
3/5
G&R gives me big American vibes. Sex, rock and roll and not giving a fuck.
Björk
2/5
Very interesting. And weird. Not my jam
Prince
4/5
My first album from Prince. I enjoyed it. It was funky, sexy and a bit weird at times but in a majestic way.
Dusty Springfield
3/5
Fly me to Memphis! I want Dusty! This album started off strong for me with some very catchy tunes. But faded for me in the second half of the album. Son of a Preacher Man's opening sounds like the opening to Hits From the Bong by Cyprus Hill.
Peter Tosh
3/5
Rasta eh? I don't mind the genre, but I would never seek it out. Pretty good, not bad
3/5
U2 have never really interested me. But this was enjoyable enough

3/5
Good American rock. Good guitar rifts and drums. A solid album

3/5
Sexy and fun. James Brown brings the soul!
Led Zeppelin
2/5
It was fine. I've never been a huge LZ fan. All of their songs felt a bit dull.
Isaac Hayes
4/5
Should we make 18 minute long songs more common. Yes. My Soul feels hot and buttered after listening to this. An excellent listen
Scott Walker
3/5
I liked it.
The Cure
2/5
It was fine. The whole album had a decent tone and sound but no individual song jumped out at me.
Kendrick Lamar
5/5
I have always heard this album was hype and boy did it live up to the hype. All of the hits I've heard over the years are bangers and the rest of the album holds up great too. The first 5 star from me
Deep Purple
3/5
I have always heard this album was hype and boy did it live up to the hype. All of the hits I've heard over the years are bangers and the rest of the album holds up great too. The first 5 star from me
Rush
3/5
Mariah Carey
2/5
It was fine. I jammed to a few songs. I would have enjoyed more variety between the songs.
Sly & The Family Stone
4/5
This was awesome. This album was full of life great lyrics and a guitar that was singing from front to back. I'll add this album to my personal library!
Queen
2/5
I can't say I'm a huge Queen fan. 1 or 2 songs weren't bad.
Primal Scream
2/5
Well, that was strange. This album left me with mixed feelings. Some songs were good. Some felt like I was wandering in the desert on peyote.
Tom Waits
2/5
It was strange. I don't think I'm a big fan of that much variety. The lead singer sounds like he has been smoking cigarettes for 100 years.
Supergrass
2/5
It was fine. Can't say I've listened to much British rock besides the big bands. The whole album has a very British feeling that feels just dull to me
Adele

Peter Gabriel
4/5
I quite enjoyed this.
Bruce Springsteen
3/5
Bruuuuuceeeee Spriiiinnnngggssssttteeeeeeeen! There is a lot of Xylophone in the first few songs and I like it. Maybe it was a piano, I still enjoy it. There is a nice mix of instruments in this album, I believe I heard the trumpet 🎺. I think I will rate this on a 3.5 out of 5

Not bad. My appreciation for soul is limited.
The Afghan Whigs
2/5
A lot of alt rock is hit or miss for me. This one was a miss. Some songs were enjoyable. But overall the album was dull
The Zombies
2/5
British rock.... What can I say that hasn't been said before. It was probably great at the time. But it's not for me.
The Black Keys
2/5
Besides a couple of hit songs. It was alright. Alt rock is really hot or miss with me.
The Rolling Stones
3/5
I would give this a higher vote if I could understand the singer lol. I've always struggled to make out what the lead singer was mumbling.

Dion
1/5
Not a fan
Wu-Tang Clan
4/5
"I'll sew your asshole closed and keep feeding you and feeding you." Now that's good 90's rap.
What a wicked album, many of the songs are bangers with fantastic beats. The members all bring their own flair to the group while everyone sounds in tune with everyone else. The 90's were a great time with great rap, but this album truly stands out as one of the better albums of the decade.
Judas Priest
3/5
Not bad. I can't even name a Judas Priest song off the top of my head.
The Undertones
2/5
Apon first listen to this album. I'm not sure how I felt about it. Not a fun fan of the singer and lyrics. The whole album felt odd to me. Strange album artwork too

This was my first Beatles album I've listened to back to back and I'm quiet impressed. I found myself humming or singing along to quite a few tracks. What a great experience.
Neil Young & Crazy Horse
4/5
I'm digging the rock and roll Willie. This album was a win for me, all of the long songs never felt too like they went on too long and there were some great instrument solos. And a funky song near the end that surprised me, Running Dry was the song.
New York Dolls
2/5
Nothing stood out to me in this album. It was just fine
Johnny Cash
4/5
Johnny got those convicts rocking! A nice highlight of a great selection of Johnny Cash songs with quality bantter and comments between songs.
MGMT

3/5
Que Vida! Is one interesting song lol. Somebody loves the flute in She Comes In Colors.
Jefferson Airplane

Herbie Hancock
3/5
That's was some aggressive jazz
OutKast
3/5
Roses smell like poo poo lol. Outcast bring a nice sexy tone to rap. With creative beats and lyrics about love, this album stands out to me. And there are some killer features in this album too. It's a bit long for my liking, but still a solid album.
Pink Floyd
2/5

Depeche Mode
3/5
Not great, Some good songs, some very strange sons

I liked this album a lot! Duran brings the vibe. The flute and the xilaphone hit well for me. And exceptional sound design and pacing through the album
Super Furry Animals
3/5
As I listened to this album I couldn't help but think about the strangely odd but catchy song design. Reminds me of Beck, but with lyrics that make a bit more sense. Some songs were a bit slow for my liking. Fs- Rade Winds
The La's
3/5
Not bad. No comments
Talking Heads
4/5
This was my first Talking Heads album. The lyrics made me laugh a bit, it seems like he's just singing about ordinary day to day things lol. Pretty good
Marty Robbins
4/5
Get your cowboy boots on and holster your big iron because we be cowboys today. Excellent country
Nirvana
3/5
I've never been a Nirvana fan, I've always struggled to understand what the hell he was saying. Apon first listen with lyrics on, that thought was cemented. Catchy hits peppered with some strange ones, like Rape Me.

4/5
We are North American Scum! Pretty cool album, mixed with lots of fun sounds and beats. Pretty good

4/5
I'm curious if this was one of the voted in albums. Pretty sweet, very unique, pretty chill. I'm going to revisit this on the weekend

Portishead
3/5

This album left me confused and a bit scared honestly.
Thelonious Monk
2/5
You like jazz? Meh, I prefer my jazz with some lyrics
Fiona Apple
3/5
UB40
3/5
Jazzy Rege? I like it!. It got a bit slow in the middle of the album.
Ray Price
2/5
Classic country. I wasn't a huge fan
Queens of the Stone Age
4/5
Great album. Lots of energy and variety the whole way through
The Who
4/5
This has given me hope for more excellent British rock! This album must have been revolutionary for 1965. Lots of great songs in it! Old white woman everywhere must have thought they were possessed by the devil!
Public Enemy
3/5
Yeah Ho! Pretty decent. Lots of variety in the sounds, from guitars to scratching records. The lyrics didn't hit that hard for me. But it was overall a decent album.
The Rolling Stones
3/5
Not bad. A couple great classics in this album. But overall a bit lackluster for me.
Beatles
3/5
Pretty good. Not the best Beatles album I've heard.
Buena Vista Social Club
3/5
3/5
Pretty fun album. With a few very catchy songs. I enjoyed it enough to want to listen to it again.
The Mamas & The Papas
3/5
Beautiful singing and calming lyrics. A nice chill listening experience. Songs that are easy to sing along too.
Bob Marley & The Wailers
3/5
This is my second or 3rd Marley album. It was pretty decent. I haven't found any reggae that has blown me away yet
Björk
3/5
The 3rd Bjork album. And my favorite so far. What a wide variety of sounds in this album. Very pleasant
4/5
Nice touch with the sounds of sloshing water (perhaps is the Oasis? Lolololol). Pretty good album and very fitting that they happen to be touring again. Classics from my childhood, easy listening and catchy tunes. The Champaign supernova is in the sky ☁️☁️☁️
Beastie Boys
2/5
Pretty sweet sounds. But the Besties never hit it for me lyrically. I'm more of a gangster rap fan
Jack White
5/5
Jack White brings the heat! For a man who looks like a vampire, he sure can rock out. What a fantastic album, every song had such a unique sound. Nothing slowed down in creativity, from the guitar, the wickedly placed piano and the strong lyrics. It takes a lot for a 5 star review (probably stemming from my picky music taste) but this album gets it for sure, hands down!
The Stranglers
3/5
Pretty decent rock. It got a bit strange in the middle then returned to the style of the beginning. Not bad listening, nothing really stood out to me.
TV On The Radio
2/5
Not bad. A bit to artsy for me
Sugar
3/5
Nothing stands out that much to me. Generic instruments, boring lyrics, maybe great for the early 90's. But it doesn't hold through the years
The Prodigy
Sigur Rós
4/5
The melodies and style of singing match really well, even if I can't understand the lyrics, I feel like I can still understand the message to these songs. This ambient/ progressive /rock style is pretty cool. And the piano adds a nice touch. A bit strange at times but still cool.
Stereolab
3/5
I was a bit worried about this album in the beginning. But it turned out not bad. Lots of fun noises and looping to make a creative sound and album. Pretty decent!
Black Sabbath
3/5
The so called Prince of Darkness. The first song lives up to that title. It was dark, creepy and a prefect song to set a dark tone. Then the album shifted a bit, faster rifts and what sounded like a bit of country guitar to me. Overall decent, but I wouldn't listen to it again.
Rush
2/5
Meh. I'm no Rush fan and this album didn't change anything
The Offspring
3/5
I've never been a huge fan of the singers voice/style, but man did this album have a lot of classic songs from The Offspring. I recognized half of songs. Not bad, good energy, quotable lyrics.
Jimi Hendrix
3/5
Jimi, a legend. This must have been a revolutionary sound for 67. Personally, it was just fine for me. I guess it's just not my jam
Ella Fitzgerald
3/5
A singer with a beautiful voice, wonderful instruments and great story telling. But God damn is this album long. I found my self getting burnt out half way through. To an avid fan of the artist, this is probably a great album. But to me, wayyyyy to long. I would love to travel back in time to see a live performance in a dark jazz club, what an experience that would be. 7/10 (lost points for being too long)
The xx
5/5
This album has such a unique sound. The instruments perfectly set the stage for the lyrics, the male female performance is beautiful. This felt like a musical journey through the life of 2 people and it blew me away. What a fantastic 38 minutes, short but doesn't let down at all. Stunning!
Jane's Addiction
2/5
Is felt like a strange combination of hair metal and the band Wheatus. It was just fine, nothing really stood out to me except the strange placement of a mysterious brass instrument
Deep Purple
4/5
I like the twang of that guitar 🎸. Deep Purple has the right balance of beats and rhythm that hits well and doesn't repeat in a boring. Paired with solid vocals, this album is entertaining for sure. 8/10
Meat Loaf
3/5
The album artwork doesn't match the music. This is my first experience with Meat Loaf; he kind of reminds me of Elton John. Overall, it wasn't a bad album, but it's not a sound I would normally listen to. It had a nice variety of instruments, and it had plenty of energy. But it won't be played again. 5/10
Dinosaur Jr.
3/5
The lead guitarist can sure play that thing! Pretty heavy for the Alt rock I've listen too. Pretty sweet. I wasn't overly thrilled about the vocalist. 6/10
The White Stripes
3/5
A solid WS album. But not my favorite I would say. That last song made me laugh.
Grateful Dead
3/5
I can see why the hippies liked this band. The beginning mostly instrumental was too long for my liking, but the rest of the album was good and catchy. I liked how there wasn't a lot of crowd cheering like in most live albums.
Queen
3/5
Solid Queen album. Good diversity in the song styles and finishing with there most played song. Not bad
3/5
One of the better Bowie albums I've heard. Good use of the piano and strong lyrics. It was good. But not great imo
Jeru The Damaja
3/5
I'd rather busy a nut then busy a cap. East coast 90's rap! Solid beats and lyrics. I can see myself listening to this more. Little would Jeru know, the twin towers would fall less the 10 years later.
Eric Clapton
2/5
My first Clapton album. I wasn't bad, I shot the Sheriff is great, other then that, not a whole lot to take away from. Easy listening, but nothing stood out that strongly for me. Good campfire music, that's about it.
Deerhunter
2/5
Well this is Indie as fuck! This album definitely has a unique sound to it. I'm far from an avide indie indulgeder and this genre is not my style. But I can give it a little credit, very unique indeed. I won't be listening to this again and my low rating is based of of personal taste only.
Willie Nelson
3/5
Willie sure can play that harmonica! Good album, but not something I would normally turn too. I like the variety in the tracks, from up beat to smooth and sad. It's just not my kind of music 5/10
Charles Mingus
3/5
You like Jazz? Pretty good album. Lots of exciting beats, sounds and styles. Good listen. I'm just not in jazz that much
My Bloody Valentine
2/5
I enjoyed this one a little bit more then the last MBV album. There were a few songs I could listen too. But it's too depressing for me
Simon & Garfunkel
3/5
Very energetic album! Well written and smooth. Catchy and fun
The Smiths
3/5
The Smiths have a very unique sounds to them touching on that light rock feel. It wasn't bad but I didn't vide with lyrics that much a solid 3 star tho
Bob Dylan
3/5
Who's blood is on the tracks? Bobby has quite a rang of lyrics and song writing. And that harmonica sure can sing. Would I put this album on by choice, no. But it was enjoyable for a few songs. He looks like Gene Simmons in the album art.
Prince
3/5
Prince is back and sexy as ever. I didn't enjoy this album as much as Purple Rain. But I can appreciate the wide variety and range of the instruments over this album. I nice mix of keyboard and brass. Prince sure does love his slow love making.
Flamin' Groovies
4/5
Very fun album. The rock and roll/blues mix is a great combo. Full of life and energy. He's going to show me how to walk a dog .
Robert Wyatt
2/5
What is with the first song? Nevermind I understand, this album is about a seaman going crazy. Or Robert Wyatt's decent into madness.
Slint
4/5
What a cool album. It made me feel like I was walking around a post apocalyptic world. Who ever was on the guitar played it well. I would listen to this again
Paul McCartney and Wings
3/5
Not bad for Paul breaking away from the Beatles. I like the heavy brass in some songs. And there were some iconic hits on this album. Overall 7/10
3/5
Not bad. Refreshing to hear a female English singer. Songs about the city that never sleeps. Not really my jam. Just ok
Röyksopp
3/5
Very chill EDM. Almost on the lofi side of chill. Good, calm music. Something to listen to around a campfire or on a quiet night.
Screaming Trees
2/5
Not bad. Gave me a bit of a Soundgarden vibes. Nothing stood that hard too me.
Billy Bragg
3/5
There ain't nobody that can sing like me. I liked the variety in the songs amd pacing. This was pretty great for an album compossed of unwritten songs. I have no idea what the original artist sounded like, but these songs were sure written well.
Nas
4/5
Life's a bitch and then you die. That's why we get high. Solid album! Very well written lyrics and great beats from start to finish. I personally like my rap a little more raw. But Nas is definitely a talented man.
David Bowie
3/5
Ch Ch Changes! Bowie is heavy with the piano. It has that classic Bowie energy, fast paced and energetic. The rest of the band also shines next to the main paino tune. Solid album!
Red Hot Chili Peppers
4/5
God damn that guitar is funky! God damn that bass in funky! God damn those drums are banging! I knew going into this that this was arguably The Peppers best album. And it proves it. With such classics as Give It Away and Under The Bridge. This album rocks!
Afrika Bambaataa
3/5
What a wild album cover. The first track reminds me of the Donkey Kong Rap introduction from the Nintendo 64. Early hip hop and 80's synth, what a combo. A good amount of samples that would be used in later songs and bands, like Renegades of Funk by Rage Against the Machine. 3.5/5
The Thrills
2/5
Not bad. Catchy but nothing stood out to me.
Lynyrd Skynyrd
4/5
LS can be considered one of the rock and roll GOATS. I can't say for sure if that's true. But damn can they jam! Everything member brings a Steeler contribution to the sound and that southern twang plays nicely into their tune. With classics such as Simple Man and of course Free Bird. This is a Steeler album. Damn near a 10 for me but something is holding me back. A solid 9 put of 10 though. Rest in peace
Radiohead
3/5
On my second playthrough of this album I started to enjoy it. I was a bit surprised. I don't have much to say except this could enter my regular rotation with some more time with it.
Green Day
4/5
A early 2000's classic. Growing up this was a popular album for my age group. I knew many friends who owned it. Full of classics like American Idiot and Wake Me Up When September Ends. Green Day has some strong themes and it comes off well. I was a fan of the double tracks that blend into each other. Great album
Brian Eno
2/5
The wiki article says ", and blends glam and pop stylings with avant-garde approaches". Avant-garde indeed. I don't think Brian Eno is ok.
JAY Z
3/5
"You have to film MTV cribs for a week". Jay Z has flow! This man is seriously talented in his writing. He has excellent pacing and all his lyrics come off clean. I wouldn't say his beats are my favorite, but they do match his lyrics well. Overall impressive, just not my style of rap. There was a nice variety amongst this album, from growing up poor to straight up gangster shit. Favorite song Hola' Hovito , "If I ain't better then BIG, then I'm the closet one" 7 out of 10
Patti Smith
2/5
Meh. Nothing I particularly loved about this album.
Snoop Dogg
3/5
Sippin on jin and juice! My first Snoop album from start to finish. I like his pacing and clarity with his voice. Those are some tight beats. West coast!
R.E.M.
2/5
It was fine. I like Orange Crush and I Remember California. But other than that. Nothing caught my ear
Muddy Waters
4/5
Great live Jazz album! Very soulful!
Sonic Youth
3/5
Raw and harsh, in a good way!
U2
3/5
Not bad for U2. Lots of recognisable hits.
Creedence Clearwater Revival
4/5
How can you go wrong with CCR? You can't. This album is packed full of catchy tunes. Easy listening, good for a roadtrip. 9 put of 10 for me.
Raekwon
2/5
Meeeeeeh. Just alright. I don't think a single song stood out to me. Should have stayed with Wu-Tang
Arctic Monkeys
3/5
I enjoyable AM album. I noticed their drummer the most out of everything. Solid! 7 out of 10
4/5
What a interesting combination of sounds. This was quite the quiet the collection of sounds. I liked it a lot. It really has a way of putting me in a mood, a mood I couldn't even describe to you.
Pixies
2/5
This Pixies album didn't do much for me. Overall I can't even name a Pixies song. On second listen I enjoyed it a bit more. I ended the bass player
Bob Dylan
3/5
Catchy as hell! Loving that guitar and Bob Dylan's unique voice. The first half was great, it started to lose me in the back 9. The album was a bit long. Solid harmonica work. FS Visions of Johanna.
FKA twigs
4/5
Cool album! Very unique sounds and beats. The lyrics didn't do anything for me, but everything else made up for it. I'm leaning towards a 8/10. I can listen to this again.
Magazine
4/5
With this group sometimes you come across something truly unique. Magazine has done that here. From spacey beats to wild post punk lyrics. They have crafted an album that truly stands out to me.
Goldfrapp
2/5
Meeeeeeh. I didn't particularly like this. Too slow
New Order
2/5
English, instrumental, average. We have a New Order of boaring. Jk. But this was pretty average for me. Good but nothing special. 5 out of 10
Blondie
2/5
Besides One Way or Another and Heart Of Glass. It was a very average album.
Blur
4/5
Great album with lots of personality. Song 2 was a favorite for me.
Nina Simone
4/5
A nice combination of genres from a woman who sure can sing. Great piano and lyrics come together to make a great setting.
Big Brother & The Holding Company
4/5
Janis can sing! What more can be said about this legend. Great album with plenty of character!!
Led Zeppelin
4/5
Great album! I like Zeppelin's mix of rock and roll and southern. Good inclusions of banjo and classic rock song.
Wilco
2/5
Overall, not my jam
Cocteau Twins
2/5
Overall, not my jam
The Who
2/5
I usually don't enjoy live albums and this one was no exception. And The Who felt a bit tame compared to previous albums
Donald Fagen
3/5
Decent
Frank Zappa
3/5
Blur
2/5
There's a lot going on in this album. And the songs seem to change direction a lot. At one point I thought I was in a circus.
Butthole Surfers
3/5
These guys were obliviously try to be different and boy oh boy did they succeed. "It's better to regret doing something then regretting not doing anything at all"
Buzzcocks
2/5
Rough sounding, lame and boring.
Peter Gabriel
3/5
I thought it was going to be strange with an intro like that. It wasn't bad
Creedence Clearwater Revival
4/5
Can't go wrong with CCR!
R.E.M.
2/5
Nothing on the album got me excited. Too slow and too boring.
Laura Nyro
3/5
Descent piano and decent singing. Not really my jam, but enjoyable
Drive-By Truckers
3/5
Jeez, the intro got graphic. And Three Great Alabama Icons got real political. I don't know, I'll say a 3/5, I'm not exactly sure I enjoyed this.
Sonic Youth
2/5
Not a huge fan. This harsh style isn't for me. Maybe I'm not angry enough inside for it .
De La Soul
3/5
Early rap. Clean and solid. But I like my rap a bit harder and grittier
The Stone Roses
2/5
Radiohead
2/5
Not the best radio head album I've heard
Grateful Dead
3/5
Let's do some LSD and dance in a field. Peaceful and calming. I enjoyed it. FS Ripple

Great pop album! Full of life and character. I enjoy this a lot. The piano is play with elegance and the main singer is wildly talented.
Bob Dylan
3/5
Good album. Early Bobby is quite enjoyable
Marvin Gaye
3/5
The king of Gaye. Smooth as fuck. With a solid song list, I enjoyed this a fair bit. Like 7/10.
The Last Shadow Puppets
3/5
A super group they say. Pretty good. Some pretty interesting songs early on. But it started to loose me later in the album
Mercury Rev
4/5
Wild, experiment and strange. But in a good way.
Throbbing Gristle
1/5
The song "Weeping" made me want to cry from the pain in my ears. What's the point of this album? To bang a bunch of random things together and mumble strange lyrics into the mic? That's the vibe I'm picking up
Elvis Costello & The Attractions
3/5
Cool album. It's feels like a faster, edgier pop album. Not what I expected honestly
Radiohead
3/5
Very interesting coming from Radio Head. Felt very experimental, almost like they were all high when they wrote this album. Overall interesting but not my favorite from them.
Crosby, Stills & Nash
3/5
Solid folk album. Good for a roadtrip or a night around a campfire
The Velvet Underground
3/5
"You must have been sucking on my ding dong". Pretty bold for 68. Early guitar riffs that would evolve into harder and faster beats. I wasn't a fan of that second song, too much talking. But I guess that was kinda the whole album. Decent. That was a pretty grand conclusion in the final song!
Def Leppard
3/5
Quality hair metal.
