Not quite as interesting or dynamic as Doolittle, but still solid
Better and worse than I expected. Musically it’s ok, not that into the vocals. The whole thing is just a little homogenous.
I know nothing about this. Pleasant enough listen.
Like, don’t love
This is pretty good. Not sure why it started a war. (3.5)
I guess I'm on board that this is probably the best Metallica album. Still nothing they do will ever top the sheer joy that Some Kind of Monster has given me.
A little more in my current wheelhouse. First time I’ve listened to a Yes album front to back. I’ll be listening to more.
Not sure who killed them, but I’m glad they did.
I’ve been coming back around on U2 a little. There’s some songs on here I’d be fine to never hear again, but the influence is undeniable, for better or worse.
Probably my favorite Who album.
I tend to gravitate towards the softer side of Trent Reznor. But when the heavier stuff hits, it hits well.
Definitely not my favorite Smiths album, but it’s still got some bangers.
This is probably the worst Police album (imo), but it needs to be talked about more these days what an incredible run they had in such a short amount of time. (A strong 3.5)
Top tier Radiohead for me. As far as full albums go.
I’ve never had a problem with Adele and removed from all the hype, the singles hold up pretty well. A few of the other tracks are good but most of them are bland and forgettable for me. (2.5)
I have a soft spot for this era, but there’s better stuff. Needed more Krayzie and Wish Bone.
I struggle sometimes with this era of soul. Some of it I love, and usually can always appreciate, but the over use of it in movies and other forms of media throughout the years has forever tainted it for me. Goes without saying, but she sounds incredible.
With all due respect to Mike Patton, this is way worse than I expected. Maybe I just wasn’t in the mood for it. (1.5)
My least favorite Smiths album. But still it’s The Smiths.
Elvis is so cool, I wish I was partially named after him. (3.5)
Really surprised by how good this is.
Always been allergic to this. (1.5)
Still a classic.
Probably the closest I’ll get to enjoying a live DJ set. (3.5)
I feel like they’re better without Young, and him without them. (3.5)
Too long.
Best VH front to back. (3.5)
Couldn’t decide between a strong 3.5 or a weak 4 so I figured I’d just round up
I like the songs but can’t do that classic country twang. (2.5)
When it hits, it hits. (3.5)
