My first album on this site, and it's a great one! Seven Nation Army is a top-tier album opener, maybe one of the best of all time. Love it. And the rest of the album doesn't let down either. Very solid stuff, some of the best from The White Stripes
Very moody album. Great all the way through, I love it. So very good.
I don't listen to the early Beatles very often, so this was fun. Lots of great tunes. One of my least favorite Beatles albums but still a 5/5 to me.
Always cracks me up seeing this cover, how they stuck Ringo's head in the bottom corner 😂. Poor Ringo
Fantastic metal album. Love the energy
Love love love this album. One of my favorite rock albums of all time. Pretty much perfect from start to finish.
Very 80s. I enjoyed listening
Ah yes, the "rock opera". Cute idea. Pretty good album, not fantastic
I’m not usually a fan of electronic music, but I really like this album. Has some fantastic moments, like Jimmy and Paper Planes.
Great album by Nick Cave. Really gets deep on this one. Certainly one of his best albums
Fantastic live performance by The King of the Blues
Fantastic album. Prince at his best.
I only understand about 1% of what he’s saying from my high school French classes, but I can still dig it. This album’s definitely got a groove. French rap sounds very cool. I’m also a fan of the jazzy parts too. All around, a very good album
My first time listening to The Fall. Decent punk album I suppose. I don’t love it but I don’t hate it. I’ll listen again, maybe it’ll grow on me. We’ll see.
A damn good album this is. It’s got Free Bird, Simple Man, Tuesday’s Gone. I also despise Lynyrd Skynyrd for being a bunch of racists. I’ll meet in the middle and give it 3 stars
Dylan goes electric! Love this album, Bob Dylan never lets down
This is some fun music, I’m a fan. First time listening to salsa, and I really like it
Pretty good album. It’s got Bohemiam Rhapsody, so it’s already an all-timer. I’ve heard Bohemian Rhapsody before but the rest of the album was all pretty much new to me. A lot of Queen “deep cuts” so to say on here. It’s got some weird moments, but overall it's still pretty good.
Incredible album, every song is amazing. Gotta love John Fogerty’s voice, just so good
I dunno, this album is pretty bad… really seems like they’re trying to make annoying music. Very little on here that I liked. Not a fan.
Can't say I loved it on first listen. I probably fall in the majority here since experimental jazz is not a very palatable subgenre. I’m not negative towards it though - I’ll say that it was definitely an interesting listen. We’ll see if it grows on me after listening again.
Day 28, and I’m already on my third The Who album, crazy. Anyways, this album is alright. I’ve heard a few of their hits from this album before, but most of it was new to me. Neat how bluesy they sound in some songs, then how punk rock they sound in others. Really, a very good album
Love this album. Very fast and high intensity. Guitar riffs are also excellent. In my opinion, one of the best post-punk albums ever made.
Some of the best from T-Swizzle. Hit after hit on this album. Personally, not a big fan of this kind of bubblegum pop. I much prefer some of her later albums over this one. Nevertheless, can’t deny how big this album was and still is, and how it is absolutely packed from front to back with great songs. Gotta love it
Amazing album, I was grooving the whole way through. I seriously need to listen to more Santana
Pretty good album. Metal isn't really my jam, but this was decent imo
Wow, this one was pretty good. Hip-Hop/Rap isn’t really my thing. Believe it or not, this was my first time listening to Kendrick Lamar to my knowledge. I was really impressed with this, how much depth this album has, all the other music genres he explores in here too. Nothing like what I was anticipating, this blew my expectations out of the water. Really, this is leagues better than all of the autotuned mumble rap shit that’s mass-produced today. This album is really exceptional, I liked it very much. I think that I’ll go listen to some more Kendrick now
Hey, it's another blah 80s britpop album. I despise that cover of Heaven, just no good at all.
Awesome album. Nobody does heavy metal quite like Black Sabbath.
Yes this is a FUN album. Very 80s. Filled with great songs. Cyndi Lauper rocks
Big time Kate Bush fan here, so obviously I absolutely love this album. This is definitely one that grows on you the more times you listen to it. Ultra wacky for sure. Hard to believe that Kate Bush wrote, arranged, and produced pretty much this entire album herself. Incredible. I remember hearing a rumor about Get Out of My House being inspired by The Shinning - how I'd love for that to be true. Night of the Swallow has got to be my favorite track on here, just a wild song.
All in all, this is certainly one of my all-time favorite albums. I really encourage others to give it a chance because it is genuinely really really good. Strong 5/5 for me.
Al Green was just what I needed today. Some really good music :D
This album is excellent. Piano playing and arrangements are top-notch. Seriously, just listen to Winter! As perfect of a song as I’ve ever heard, that’s for sure.
It's really a shame that this is the only Tori Amos album on the list, she's got a few others deserving to be on here as well in my opinion.
Anyways, a solid 5 star album for me.
