It's hard to look at this album in isolation given the legacy of AC/DC since it came out, and arena rock is a hard sell for me generally. That said, the rock and roll of it all is undeniable, and this record probably encapsulates peak AC/DC and is therefore well curated. Solid 3 stars.

I didn't realize how old this record was, which speaks to how ahead of its time it feels. Great stuff. 4 stars.

I don't have a ton of patience for jam bands but the number of times I had the reaction "it would be cool to sample this" redeems this for me.

The legacy of this album is complicated. It can easily be interpreted as violently misogynistic and homophobic, but I think the gratuitousness of both is intentionally satirical and pushes the boundaries as art should. But it is definitely tough to listen to at times.

The first artist I hadn't heard of before! I liked it.

It didn't compel me.

I didn't expect it to resonate with me but I quite liked it!

I normally quite dislike country music, but this was shockingly tolerable.

It's no "What's Going On" but Marvin Gaye is one of the most talented musical artists of all time.

I don't resonate with the lyrics at all and the genre influences aren't my vibe either. That said, this is an incredible piece of music.

Is Orion Metallica's best song? Possibly.

This is like the 4th best Beck album imo

Radiohead is one of the greatest artists of all time, but this is like their 5th best album at best.
