Shine on you crazy diamon - I love how they can make guitar speak. Vocals are soft but theatrical.
Welcome to the machine - Industial sounds go well with acustic guitar in this song but I don't really like vocals here.
Wish you were here - My favourite track on this album. It feels like watching sunset from the porch of cabin, summer evening with your closest friends and/or bitter sweetending.
Have a cigar isn't much outstanding for me 'cause of vocals which i don't really like here.
Overall really good and iconic album. I liked it even though I wouldn't have listened to it if it hadn't been recommended to me. Itstrumentals were perfect but I'm not a big fan of vocals in all of these songs. But i can feel that Wish you were here will stich with me for a long time.
5/10
It is definitely a summer album. I wouldn't find this apbum on my own so it's something new for me. It was wery mesy and chaotich but not in the way I enjoy music. But I really liked some of the instruments. If I had listened it in the summer and not christmas i would rate it higher.
Really good opening track. I don't listen to rap at all but i kinda like this album.
So far the rest of the album is too funky and repetitive for me. Not my style really.
When I listen to rap I like it little bit more angrier and maybe energetic.
Pretty solid album to chill out and even though it's out of my music bubble I sometimes foumd myself vibin' to it.
I love Christmas music that is not overplayed. It has vibe, sets Chistmas atmosphere and it is catchy. My second favourite type of music after victorian carols in this time of the year.
Such an iconic Christmas songs i didn't even know are from this album.
I enjoyed this album though, again, it's not my genre of choice. He has pretty voice and music is soft and relaxing.
This is the album i can give 5 stars and not be disapointed when I'll look back on it later.
I knew The Who as the band which wrote Behind the blue eyes and never listened to them more in depth. But after this album I think I'll start listen to them.
This man has beautiful voice and I loved the instruments. I like live albums especially 'cause they are interactive and it feels like they have a soul. I will play that on CD in my car because this is the vibe it's giving.
This is random and absolutely unserious.
I liked first half of the album but the second one was just a mess.
I love The Rolling Stones. This is one of my 10/10 albums.
Best album i haven't know before this site recomended it to me.
Angelic vocals, calm music. Something I will listen to in summer.
Another really good album.
I like this type of mysin though I don't listen to it often. I like when records and albums are live performances.
I'm just not a big fan of Beatles.
It would be 2* but there is Sorry Mrs. Jackson, one of my all time favourite songs, on it so...
Album cover is beautiful. But it was so boring
Sometimes it sounded like little bit of Radiohead. I really enjoy this highschool garage rock band type of music.
There was freebird.
And I really like the bass in some songs.
Metal is one of my favourite genres but I never listened to Sepultra much. I love instrumentals on this album but vocals are not really my thing.
Music is amazing but once again vocals...
One of those okay albums. It has some stand out songs like China, Leather and Little Earthquakes. And also I like piano in most of the aongs. It smoothly blends in and underline the atmosphere.
I love post punk but I search for more dark atmosphere and melodies. A lot of song here were repetitive but over all enjoyable album for me.
Surprisingly I enjoyed this a lot.
One thing I don't like is when album is released or only possible to find in anibersary deluxe or even worse super, deluxe, something,... edition.
I like that about albums I like and I want more of their music (as a big fan of Smashing Pumpkins I know what it is to listen to a 3 hour long album or 6 hour long collection). But when I listen to album forbthe first time I just want that shorter version that will tell me what this album has for me and if I want to listen more.
I only listened to first and half of the second disch and it wasn't bad. Nothing breathtaking but solid.
Some standout tracks were Starship Trooper: Life Seeker /Disillusion /Würm and A Venture.
I think someday I will listen to a whole album but not today.
First of all song Street life is good... until, after 4 minites, you realize that you will be listening to the same thing for another almost ten minutes. Or better to say for another half an hour, because the whole album sounds the same. It's not bad but I am not really into this type of music and its sometimes almost painfully boring for me to do so.
I feel like I'm listening to elevator music.
It sounds like what you imagine it would sounds like.
Enjoyed this but I am not a big fan of Deep Purple
The first song already sounded to me like that one rap in Amazing world of Gumball. And then the whole album was like that.
Not my favourite by radiohead but still 10/10 album. Love everything about it. Songs like Street spirit Fade out, Fake plastic trees, Black star andJast are biggest standouts and absolute bangers.
I wouldn't listen to this willingly but I was digital painting so it matched the vibe and I felt kinda cool.
At first I thought: " okay it can be like 2 stars, it is a little bit enjoable."...
After sixth same song I was bored and pissed off. So no it is certainly not enjoyable. Not for me.
I was thinking it was overrated. But it is not. I love it surprisingly.
Never listened to whole album despite its new-gained popularity and it's definitely worth the hype. Lots of iconic songs and melodies.
This is real 5* album. Even if there wasn't Stairway to Heaven, which is absolute masterpiece and iconic song, love every second of it, it wolud be that perfect. The Battle of Evermore and Going to California are big standouts for me and to open album with Black dog and close it with When the Levee Breaks... It's just perfection.
I went from "Oh this is really cool, I would listen to this with my friends while hanging out" to "OMG I KNOW THAT ONE" when Alright started playing. Really cool album and I miss summer hangouts :(
I love a lot of the songs on this album but the rest is like, I don't know... It's just filler.
I am not the biggest fan of Dave Mustain's vocals but the instrumentals are that perfect I can't give it less than 4*
Throughout listening to this album, I heard the words Crazy, Sexi and Cool too many times.
This was something really, really new
18 same songs with lyrics that are just repeating title and some other random sentences in same tone and pace with random distorted highpitched guitar wanna-be solos in the end as the song fade away. It was boring but not unlistenable.
Pretty enjoyable, but it would be much better in the summer.
I knew there will be day when this app recomends this... thing to me. This one album which has song on it that I hate THE MOST. I don't really know why, but that constant repeating of Born in the U.S.A., blah blah blah, I just can not stand it.
But let's be objective. The second song wasn't that bad. Yes the cover still iritates me but that is just detail.
Overall this album isn't THAT bad as I thought it will be, but I won't listen to it again.
I've been putting this album off for a long time just because of album cover. It was such a bad chouce. But it really surprised me. I enjoyed it I loved that talking story like element and yeah another summer album in winter but I hope I'll come back to this one when the right time comes.
That type of backround music I would listen to while reading crime stories or writing journal or whatever...
Enjoyable for me but I see why so low rated.
It was good. I didn't expected that I'll enjoy it that much though lot of songs sounded very similary
Did not expected to like it that much. I didn't know this album before but it took me one second of the first song to be like "What?! This is that?!" So yes it seems I knew at least one song.
Overall solid album, enjoyed it probably will listen to it again. Perfect music for evening with book I guess.
Absolute S tear album. Fell in love with it three years ago in summer and every relisten is even better that the last one.
This would be 5* for me even if only for You can go your own way. This song is flow state, summer fields with your friends and it's so beautiful my words aren't enough.
And of course The Chain. Ultimate masterpiece. First bass line I've ever learned.
Oh... Please. Gold dust woman. This song was written by the witch for witches. Just perfection.
Don't stop and Oh daddy are my biggest standouts of the rest of this album.
This album is making my life better every day I rememeber it exists.
Omg that was Theblion king song.
Some songs I enjoyed a lot but some I wanted to turn off. Her voice is amazing and the song Where does it lead is sooooo beautiful.
Also house of the rising sun cover was pretty cool.
I love the cure and this album is amazing though I won't say it's my favourite. It's atmospheric and beautiful, eerie and haunting.
Some standout songs are Play for today, In your house and Seventeen seconds.
And also my all-time favourites M and A forest which is absolute masterpiece with one of my favourite bass lines.
I am so excited to see The Cure live this summer
I mean it's good. I enjoy doom metal or something more atmospheric a lot more than this.
I also don't really like vocals (once again) but instrumentals are pretty solid. Ofcourse This Love is absolute nasterpiece and I love but the rest of the album is just okay. Yes there is Walk but I think it's overrated and sounds lot like other songs.
Less depressed Radiohead.
Liked some songs but I wasn't able to listen to this whole album.
I would pay him a therapy if that means that he'll stop writing those lyrics.
Also I don't understand why there is normal version of Aftermath, which I listened and have absolute masterpiece called Paint it black, and then there is UK version which is somehow a lot worse that the original and there is not Paint it black.
As a music in the backround while i was cleaning pretty good.
Going home is so incredibly boring and long I turned it of after three minutes. But still there's paint it black so it won't be 1*.
Two Rolling stones albums in a row. I feel wronged.
Everytime I hear Sypathy For The Devil I think about that one scene in Dreamcatcher by Stephen King (book) as they are destroying shipwrecked ufo with military helicopters and this song is playing and they didn't put it in the movie and I was so dissapointed when I found out.
I know they are british band but this album sounds totally American.
I just willingly listened to chain smoker screaming over some fire guitar riffs for 34 minutes straingt and, surprisingly, I loved it.
Pretty solid punk album and I enjoyed this although I don't listen to punk very often.
Sweet dreams is masterpiece and this original is the best but overall vary basic sounding '80s album
Boring it almost hurts. But only almost...
It sound like less horny Peter Steele talking over some violin underground bar melancholic sounds. Oh how I love that music but vocals were sometimes pissing me of.
I don't know... This week was very weak with album recomendations.
I'm in the middle of this album and I am so bored. I can't...
Too inconspicuous.
Vienna is absolute masterpiece, but we already knew that.
Some songs were really good but some song vere just mid.
3.5*
It wasn't best nor worst. Honestly I enjoyed it but there are lot of better albums.
I hear here a little of Pablo honey. But again less depressed.
I've never loved The Smiths. I mean they are good but lot of songs sound overplayes and very similar. Throughout listening to this album I noticed something. The sound, the instrumentals and overall songs are beautiful. But I really, like really don't like vocals and some lyrics. But overall still pretty solid.
I don't know. I like The White Stripe's albums like Elephant and White blood cells and this wasn't that good. I feel like the more grunge and rock sound suits them better. But this wasn't unlistenable and some track were surprisingly good.
It took a lot of self-denial to listen to Slipknot. I don't hate them but it pisses me off. More than by the band itself I'm pissed of by boys that feels like Slipknot is best, most raw, cool and brutal band they could listen to. They always think they are better than you. And, of course, it's even worse when you're woman. That is one thing why I do not like Slipknot.
Another reasom. It's fucking boring. Instrumentals are good but there are a lot better ones. And that fake eminem rapping along the metal sounds is pissing me off even more. I hate the vocals in there.
This is the most overrated band for me. I thought I'll give it like 2* but it's not worth it.
Another background music but this one was really enjoyable.
I won't give it 1* as I wanted. Everytime I hear AC DC on radio I'm turning it off but I gave it a shot. It wasn't THAT bad. I really enjoyed instrumentals especially guitars which are really good, as friend of mine persuaded me once. But I hate his vocals. They are ruining the songs for me. Especially in Back in black (song), which I'm always skipping beacause I classify it as self harming to listen to it, I absolutely can't stand them. So after 41 minutes of self torturing by listening to this vocals and healing by kinda good music I cane to the conclusion it's still better than Slipknot.
It's Queen so it's beautiful of course. But some songs weren't meant for me. Still masterpiece
How can they create such a masterpiece like a Talking in your sleep and then this is the rest of their discography. This is the second album by them I am listening to, that was recommended to me by this app and I don't see why it is here. It's just mid if not bad.
Ale today it's gonna be the day an tomorrow will be day too. Or whatever Oasis said.
I like this album. Of course Wonderwall is Wonderwall but don't look back in anger is masterpiece and I love it. Rest of this album is pretty good and a lot enjoyable for me.
Stfu and let me at least enjoy the instrumentals.
Sometimes there is time in my life when I rediscover Knives out and the I play it on repeat whole week or month. I still haven't gotten bored of it. I love Knives out. I wish I could put this song in my weins to carry it around with me for my whole life.
And then the rest of the album is just good. I don't really like electronic sounding songs on this alum but there are another stand outs like Pyramid song, which I absolutely adore, I might be wrong, Dollars and cents and Life in glasshouse.
This alum is 7/10 for me. I love Radiohead. But i like their earlier more alternative rock sounding grunge-like albums than these later electronics ones.
Forgetable but not boring. Type of music I sometimes listen to. Some tracks were bad especially one (I don't remember title) with elecrtonic sounds which I really wanted to skip byt was too lazy to. But I liked it and it's not that big deal.
I wasn't born to listen to this type of music
This was very listenable but also very unmemorable album. When I played it in the background in the morning it was good but when I put it on hedphones the vocals bothered me.
I had no idea this band was that old.
Anyways pretty solid.
I didn't hope this album will be so soon.
First thing first I LOVE this album.
Cover perfect, instrumentals as well. Vocals are discussable, indeed, but I personaly love them.
So many songs that are to this day masterpieces. Zero, Bullet with the butterfly wings, 1979, Tonight tonight,...
Ofcours these are incredible but now my absolute favorites: Love, Cupid de locke, Porcelina of the vast oceans, Here is no why, Lily,...
Everytime I listen to this album I find new thing I love albout it. I grew up with this album and its still holding on me.
Although it sometimes sounds as an anime intro it's also eerie, haunting and beautiful.
Mellon Collie and THIS in one week. I'm blessed.
Oh Courtney with you guts wretching rage how I love you. Another album that's with me a long time now and is not going anywhere.
Of course this review isn't objective but even if it was it wouldn't be less thet 4 stars. Often I feel that Courtney is perceived first as Curt Cobain's wife and then like artist on her own. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but she's underestimated and overlooked as an artist on her own. Just somebody who rode the wave of her husband's fame. Ofcourse thus band isn't only about Courtney but you got the point.
This album filled with female rage, catchy melodies, beautiful instrumentals, the truest lyrics and lot of screaming has a special place in my heart.
The rock and medieval sound mixed together... I love it.
Vocals were sometimes off for me but I will add this album in my collection of music I will listen more often.
Another reading backround music. But pretty solid one.
So if you're lonely
You know I'm here waiting for you...
