An interesting listen. Still trying to decide what I mean by interesting. It is unlike anything I have ever heard before but I don’t think I’m unhappy I haven’t heard anything like it before. A lot of tracks seem like they would sound good once fully realised, but it sounds like a record of demos.
Favourite track- Good Feeling
Really interesting album. The first few tracks weren’t quite for me but enjoyed the instrumentation (flute especially). By the second half was properly enjoying it. Really strong beats definitely helped. Overall a solid album even for someone not rap inclined.
Favourite track- Thin Line
If an identity crisis was an album, this would be the album. It goes through a lot of genres- some almost rap, some leaning into indie, a proper folk song and some bogstandard rock. Normally, I would cite something like this as groundbreaking. In this case, it is not. Enjoyed a few tracks but overall confusing and not consistent.
Favourite track- Ramshackle
Amazing album. Really good lyrics with meaning behind them and very melodic for metal. Definitely exceeded my expectations and was a very enjoyable listening experience.
Favourite track- The Unforgiven
Very melodical with nice instrumentation and good lyrics. Quite chilled and relaxing. Really enjoyed it and would listen again.

Classic 60s album. Always very upbeat and positive throughout so enjoyed for that reason but also incredibly dated and doesn’t really stand up next to some other albums. Would rate 2.5 but go with a 3 for nostalgia.
Incredible album. Bowie’s first in 10 or so years and a real return to form when it was released. Love the mix of jazz instruments with the very Bowie sounding rock. Innovative but still has his distinct sound.
Interesting listen. Agree with the description of the album as a basis for art rock because it is a great starting point and very innovative, but as an actual listening experience didn’t blow me away.
Favourite track- Heroin
Everything you want from a live album- enthusiastic band, great crowd and bit of improvisation. However, every song was quite similar and he was married to his 13 year old cousin.
Enjoyable listen. Liked the influence of the folk sound with the classic 60s rock pop style. Similar happy songwriting style to a lot of the great 60s albums and generally nice to listen to.
Everything you want from an album. Bit of an experimental feel but still slots in with the norm to make a great listen. Doesn’t get a lot better.
Favourite track- Man on the Moon
A classic 80s rock album. Very enjoyable listen but definitely a bit dated. Very good singer.
Really good album. Not what I expected at all, very melodical and explored some different styles throughout. Incredibly consistent as well. Would listen again.
Favourite track- The Prisoner
Didn’t mind a few tracks but majority seemed quite similar. Enjoyed the instrumentation as the use of electric guitar in this kind of electronica stuff is new to me and sounded good, but overall just didn’t amaze me.
Another classic 80s sounding album. Really enjoyed the instrumentation and it was used incredibly well in the instrumental track. Overall, a really solid album.
Quite experimental but a good album and listen. Enjoyed the instrumentation and the general vibe was solid.
Alright is the main word that comes to mind. The mix of electronica and sort of alt-rock was interesting, and there were a few strong tracks but not incredibly consistent.
Solid album. Liked the jazz and blues influences and really liked the harmonica on Track 2. Can see why it’s so influential, but didn’t blow me away personally.
If meh was an album, this would be the album. After listening to the other albums, I’ve normally finished and had an immediate opinion, however this time it was just ‘ok, that happened’. Not rubbish, good instrumentation, but very same-y and not particularly innovative.
Brilliant album ruined by track 4. Very hard to get instrumental tracks this long to be good and interesting but tracks 1 and 2 were pretty amazing. Really enjoyed the feel of the album, but tracks 4 was a departure from that and really tarnished it for me.
Interesting album. Lots of variation in tracks, both in genre and instrumentation. Enjoyed the saxophone usage. Slightly odd but overall a solid album.
Solid album. Very unique sound which I quite enjoyed. Could be said to be slightly repetitive. Enjoyed the instrumentation and the unique voice.
Incredible. Reminded me a lot of Bowie’s ‘Young Americans’ but with a 80s twist. Loved the instrumentation, synth used very well and the guitar solos were simply epic. Not a bad track and every track had its own different sub-style.
Interesting for the first few tracks but was kind of over it by Track 3. Got better in the second half again but was kind of samey.
No. The drums and guitar don’t sound like they’re playing the same song, with no subtlety in the drumming at all. Only good part is the use of the xylophone
Interesting listen. Really enjoyed the melody and instrumentation, great feel to it. However, the lyrics kind of let it down with a lot of repetition and not a lot of depth. Classic 70s though and very solid

Alright backing tracks but the vocals were just either bad or weird. Overall pretty mid.
Really good. Love the instrumentation, especially the brass on track 1. Really innovative with some great improvised stuff as well. The blending of a 60s rock sound and jazz sounds great.
Really enjoyable listen. Enjoyed the kind of more nuanced version of Britpop and every song had its own distinct vibe within that.
Classic 60s stuff. Liked the feel the album had, very easy listening. The vocals are great. However, every song did sound pretty much the same.
Really solid classic rock album. Loved the blues influences on the drumming and guitar work on a couple tracks. Can see why its influential.
Very solid 80s pop rock. First side of the album is back to back tunes but it’s very frontloaded. B side still decent but not consistent in the very high standard set by A. Still enjoyed it.
Solid alt rock album. Would says it’s quite weird but they make it work. Liked the two singers- each seemed to come with a different style of song. Very enjoyable listen.
Got better as it went along. First track (proper track not track 1) didn’t click with me but gradually started to enjoy it. Good beats throughout.

Pretty bang average. Not a bad song just no that particularly stood out. Sounds like the transition between the 60s and 70s.
The best of the 60s but still can’t really stand up to anything after. As always with 60s albums, it was very fun and a nice listen but pretty much every song was the same. The Beatles are incredibly influential and have a lot of good tracks, but album consistency not up there.
Nice enough but nothing particularly special or different. Enjoyed it but probably wouldn’t go back urgently.

Another solid album from Suede. Every song had its own different sound and all were enjoyable. Enjoyed their different britpop sound, very good album.
First experience of Dylan, enjoyed it. Great storytelling and really liked the instrumentation, especially the use of the bass in some of the tracks.
Interesting. Was sceptical at first but it grew on me. The songs were too long for me however, and there wasn’t a lot of difference between them.
Great folk music has to have a narrative inside the album- leave you feeling something at the end. This didn’t really. It didn’t seem too cohesive as an album, and every track sounded pretty similar. Adams obviously wants to be Springsteen, but clearly isn’t.
Alright. Didn’t really buy into the many 8 minute songs- felt a bit too long. Not as good as the black album in my opinion, just overall quality wise.
Interesting. Enjoyed the majority of it but in the middle just went super religious and threw me off. Liked the instrumentation, reminded me of some ‘Born to Run’ Springsteen songs if they never kicked off. Overall, decent but not great.

Really good. Opened by a classic track and continues in that grain. Liked the different sub styles towards the end and the instrumentation was top class. Very good album, maybe slightly too long.
Enjoyable listen. Thought the instrumentation was top class- piano was played really well and the drum beats matched the feel of the songs well. However, a lot of the tracks were quite similar and I think the strong start lost momentum with a lot of quieter tracks. Still solid and a nice album to listen to, but nothing special.
This album feels like a culmination of all good British music up to that point. Not a bad track on it and the instrumentation is incredible. Can’t fault it.
Very good album. First experience of Zeppelin and really enjoyed it, especially Bonham’s drumming. Proper classic rock. However, not too consistent.
Fun album. Obviously had the anthem of Take Me Out but also a lot of good and interesting stuff. Enjoyed the mix of genres in a lot of tracks. However, shame it’s not consistent and nothing meets the high of track 3.
Amazing vocals and really good brass and piano playing. Easy listening and enjoyable to do so.

This sounds like beige. There is nothing new or original I could find about this album. It might be the most safe and boring music I have ever heard. Except for a slight change in the start of Track 6 ‘Stellar’, every song sounded pretty much the same.
Great. Album flows really well and features some really skillfull playing, especially guitar. Both the quieter and more stripped back and fuller songs fit well, and the mix of genres and genres that have influenced all go together to create some great music.
Really enjoyed it. Instrumentation is very interesting and musicians obviously very talented. A few tracks reminded me a lot of post-2000s Bowie but a bit quieter. Would definitely listen to it again.
Solid. Beatles had definitely evolved by this point. Had a few tracks beyond the ones I recognised that I really enjoyed. Of course, sounds quite dated now but still a good listen.
First time listening to this genre and didn’t mind it. Can see the appeal, but not really the right stuff to listen to during daily life for me. Liked the instrumental tracks more than the ones with the sampled vocals. Overall, decent, just not really my cup of tea.

Great album. Had heard Californication and Scar Tissue, which are great, but really enjoyed it as a complete thing. The instrumentation is top class. Amazing bass playing and drumming is great. Overall, really enjoyed listening to it.
This album feels like someone doing a parody of 70s music. It’s ok, but very basic. Track 2 is weird.
Really liked City, Country, City but found the rest of the album slightly uninspired. Good base to it but just not quite right somehow.
Enjoyed it. Nice sound, different to the music that was being released alongside it. Really liked the vocals and the laid back feel. Very enjoyable listen. However, didn’t flow too well for me.
Just shouty. To me, lacks melody and any real difference between the tracks. I get the idea of a protest album but I’m not a fan of 50 minutes of complaining.
