This millennial burger place album really overstays its welcome

It’s iconic, it influenced so many better bands and I think it captures the energy of their live shows really well. On the other hand I would think that show was shit. If you’re going to be an industry plant at least learn to play the instruments well.

The first song reminds me of music to make you poop

I think that Wyclef is talented, but Lauryn Hill HARD carries this album

Liked the front half of the album but got a bit repetitive by the end.

I thought I understood the vibe of this album, then they started rapping the whitest rap and I was completely lost. I guess that it’s really ambitious and it does have a couple good songs, but I’ve seen this type of album done better and without giving me whiplash

I don’t get the people who said this was repetitive. It’s house music, that’s the whole point.

I've called early Coldplay Radiohead clones a lot, but to be fair to them, being a copy of a better band doesn't automatically make you bad. Also, this is just a personal thing, but I remember in secondary school EVERYBODY'S favourite song was Yellow, and I didn't get it then, and I extra don't get it after listening to the whole album. Maybe the simple lyrics spoke to all the 13 year olds.

While technically it’s not the best it’s very fun

It gives the vibes of friends having fun but it’s also the most talented group of friends you’ve seen.

The sound is pretty generic. Sounds like most other early 90’s alt rock bands.

Just wasn’t feeling it as a whole experience. Songs are fine on their own but as an album it kinda sucks

Love how they’re able to blend traditional Brazilian instruments with the rockier style of the album. Also reminded me that the cuica exists and now I want one.

This album is great but all the popular songs have been overplayed to the point where I hate them.

One-hour album, and only the first two songs are great. Blur are at their best when they're being quirked up and British.

For now, this is the greatest shoegaze album of all time to me. Was on constant repeat during my first year of college

The instrumentals on this album are beautiful and haunting, creating an unsettling scene. Then Cave started talking, and I got kinda bored. The child/parent double-album concept was interesting in theory, but in practise I didn't care that much, and it was kinda a slog to finish. Album cover is cool, though.

Stevie Wonder's classic period might be the best run in all of music. This album is less good than the rest of them, but it's still damn near perfect.

I just realised that P Diddy kinda ruined 'Every Breath You Take' for me. Fine album, but got to take points away for making me think of that guy.

This album really feels like the moment when Queen became Queen. Everyone gets their moment to shine, but Freddie's vocal style elevates the whole album.

The music is nothing to write home about, and the lyrics are weird at best and kind of offensive at worst. And I don't like him. Take this 1.

Surprised by how funky the front half of the album was. Don't really associate the temptations with the genre, but it works really well. The back half is more traditional Motown, which is fine, but not as good as the beginning.

If you don’t like this album then you should probably talk to more black people.

I remember this album being a a lot heavier but that’s 80s metal for you I guess. Pretty inoffensive all things considered.

Rambles just enough for it to be enjoyable

One of the best examples I've seen of an album that mixes thought-provoking social commentary with just amazing music. That's kinda the point of reggae, but whatever, it's good

Dated beats, dated flows, tired delivery, it's way too long, and maybe it's just me, but the mixing is really bad too. The title track saved bros career.

My beef with bono has been put on hiatus cause this actually warmed my heart and healed my nostalgic inner child. Still shocked by how modern this sounded.
