Yeah I like 80s music, so what?

Good not great. Intriguing and stylistically varying, but not Bowie’s best work

Didn’t even know I knew Self Esteem. Feels like the angst of teenage rebellion. I love this shit.

Fun music but I didn’t like his voice

Interesting but ultimately not my style.

I don’t appreciate or understand this as much as someone who really loves jazz, but it was generally entertaining and intriguing.

No streaming service has it at this time which is annoying but I found this to be well worth the extra effort. Shoegaze to the max

Not my cup of tea

Bizarre but in a fun way. It’s not good, but it’s not trying to be. I want to stress that this one star rating is not an indicator of my displeasure for this album. I thoroughly enjoyed my listen. I just can’t in good conscience rate it any higher. Still an album I absolutely needed to hear before I die.

She was just yelling the whole time

Odd but charmingly beautiful

This was a surprising 5. I found myself longing for beaches and rum, enjoying the scent of a cigar on a warm summer evening. A true gem that I wouldn’t have found otherwise.

Solid music, beautiful voice. 3.5 rounded up.

Funky

Groovy funky and quite fresh

This is one of the hardest to rate for me so far. I like most of it a fair amount and thought there were some really good songs on this album. However, the songs I didn’t like I really didn’t like. It feels too good to be a 3 but also is it really a 4 if I disliked parts of the album that much?

Wack ass saxophone ruined it

Beautiful and mesmerizing. I was brought to tears on multiple songs. This was a masterpiece through and through.
