Rock experimental. Un tostón. Un 2.

Yup, Sean hit it on the nose. Not a big fan, don't really see the point.

Well, it's unique... I guess that can make it influential. I made it through half of the first song before I just skipped around through the rest, looking for anything redeeming about the album. Biggest standouts for what make this album bad: vocals and bass lines that are way too simple and way too repetitive. Impressive to think you're ready for the studio when your first song repeats ba da da da ba da doo doo for 10 minutes

Well that was torture. He really did fancy himself as a true creative hey. Fuck he was wrong lol. I guess lucky for him he's such a sociopath he'd never listen to criticism anyway. 1/5.

Absolute classic. Get the highest quality headphones you can lay your hands on & listen to some of the best bass playing you'll ever hear.

I simultaneously did not know what to expect and knew exactly what to expect. And I was simultaneously right. And I was disappointed by both.

e sjećam se ovoga kad sam slušao, jako dobro je sjeo. noćna spika i šetnja.

Missed "Bad Baby" and "Chant" because they weren't available on Spotify, but I think I'm better human being without them.

The first half started giving me those visceral 1 star reactions ngl. But then, a switch flipped and it inched closer to a 3 on the more instrumental tracks on the back half. Can’t say I want to come back again but I won’t smack a bish if a song is played in the car or sum.

D Albatross - 1 Memories - 2 Swan Lake - 1 Poptones - 2 Careering - 2 Socialist - 1 Graveyard - 2 The Suit - 2 Bad Baby - 1 No Birds - 1 Chant - 1 Radio 4 - 3 I'm constantly stumped by the albums included on this list, and this one is no exception. The singing is potentially the worst in the entire generator. The music sounds intentionally bad. There is nothing positive about this album, except for the last track which features no singing. It is surprisingly good. All in all though, this is one of my least favorite in the entire generator.

Note: Not available in Apple Music... had to YouTube... Just like the record after this, not in the mood. It's obviously one of PIL's first records because of the production. It's not a very good record. It does not stand the test of time, in my mind. Next!

De muziek is vaak echt goed, de zang soms irritant.

Strong 6

After listening to parts of the first 6 tracks I have concluded that the atrocious vocals make the record completely unlistenable. The instrumental parts aren't great either - partially OK but too repetitive to sustain interest throughout an entire track. I also gave the previous PIL album 1 star, and hope this was the last one.

I'd only heard a handful of PiL songs prior to this. I was surprised by how experimental it is. I can hear the beginnings of new wave (I think). Overall, this is a wild album that feels pretty chaotic. I have to be in the right mood for stuff like this. I do respect what they did here, though it's not really sometime I'd listen to very often.

Okay, halfway through the first track, I'm already tired of this album. Not looking good. Into the second song... this album had to have been chosen out of a hat of random albums. This has no redeeming qualities as of yet. 4th song... what even is this mess? ... Just make it end. Dudes, I promise you can make a song shorter than 5 minutes. Seriously, you can even make a song under 3 minutes. Your songs would benefit from being cut down. A lot. Like by over half. Maybe just cut half of the songs on this album too. By half, I mean all of them. Just delete the album entirely. I made it to No Birds and have to throw in the towel. There is nothing good or redeeming about this album. If these recordings were destroyed, nothing of worth would be lost.

Eh, weird. 6/10

***On Spotify the album is called Second Edition*** There's something very off-putting about this album, and I couldn't wait for it to end. The songs are too long and the vocals are really terrible new wave style. On the other hand the Bass and Drums really stand out and I feel like they greatly inspired Modest Mouse in their rhythm section. If that rhythm group had a better frontman I think I would have really liked this, but sadly it really dragged things down. Almost gave a 2 for the positives I could find, but drops back to a 1 because this album is looooooooong and it's just brutal to sit through.

I think this is rubbish. Weak out of tune vocals over boring, repetitive instrumentation. I am genuinely baffled by how highly regarded this album seems to be.

Ca-lassic, but not my mood so much anymore.
