Time Out by The Dave Brubeck Quartet
Sep 20 2022

great old time jazz that actually carries themes throughout most of the piece.

Pink Moon by Nick Drake
Sep 21 2022

not sure about this album art. I've heard Pink Moon many times but never realized that was what he was saying...

White Ladder by David Gray
Sep 23 2022

Does anyone else in the group even use these?

Ágætis Byrjun by Sigur Rós
Sep 26 2022

Music almost as strange as the album art. Good for work on TTT.... :P

The Gershwin Songbook by Ella Fitzgerald
Sep 27 2022

Good voice, I enjoyed Fascinating Rhythm. Overall this album keeps reminding me of her far-to-often-replayed christmas albums though. Not quite what I wanted in September.

Sep 29 2022

I like the beats under this but I could do without many of the vocals. "A Secret Life" and "Come with Us" could make good muzak for a budget haunted house. "New feet" might be the strangest song on the album.

Pink Flag by Wire
Oct 07 2022

not a big fan of the vocals but I enjoy the instrumentals.

S&M by Metallica
Oct 20 2022
The Hangman's Beautiful Daughter by The Incredible String Band
Oct 27 2022

Very slow, almost all vocals. Not sure I can pay enough attention to keep track of the lyrics.

Water From An Ancient Well by Abdullah Ibrahim
Nov 02 2022

Enjoy the uptempo pace of Mandela. Not so much enjoying Sameeda, a bit to much of "true jazz" style and I am so lost as to where this melody is going.

Dry by PJ Harvey
Nov 03 2022

This sounds more like noise than anything else to me.

Heavy Weather by Weather Report
Nov 17 2022

I enjoy Birdland, some of the others were a bit strange

Brothers by The Black Keys
Nov 23 2022
Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
Dec 06 2022

Kind of an eclectic album. I feel like I would have enjoyed it better if I was sitting at home in the 80's playing it on a record player. But at work it was hard to follow and enjoy

Low-Life by New Order
Dec 08 2022

I liked a lot of the vibes going with this album

Boy In Da Corner by Dizzee Rascal
Dec 09 2022

I thought it was kind of bland and couldn't really focus on it.

A Girl Called Dusty by Dusty Springfield
Dec 12 2022

Album was fine. Seemed kind of generic in some places, but there were a few that I enjoyed.

Birth Of The Cool by Miles Davis
Dec 13 2022

I liked a lot of the upbeat happier songs. Some of the slow stuff was hard for me to enjoy at work.

Siembra by Willie Colón & Rubén Blades
Dec 14 2022
Murder Ballads by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Dec 15 2022

not a big fan of the first few. The lyrics do rhyme and there is a story line through at least some of the songs. "Where the wild roses grow" and "Curse of Millhaven" are better. The latter being more upbeat.

For Your Pleasure by Roxy Music
Dec 16 2022

Meh? I barely remember listening to this album

All Directions by The Temptations
Dec 27 2022

fine background music.

Phaedra by Tangerine Dream
Dec 30 2022

should play this as background to the lava lamp

xx by The xx
Jan 11 2023

Couple good songs, but a lot of the rest was really slow and kind of sad

Fun House by The Stooges
Jan 13 2023

Meh. Started alright and then seemed to descend into random noise.

Very by Pet Shop Boys
Jan 19 2023

Upbeat, easy to listen too. Kind of ended up in the background. Not enough cowbell for a group called the "Pet Shop Boys" though.

Eagles by Eagles
Jan 23 2023
Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by The Smashing Pumpkins
Jan 25 2023

Yikes, 2 full hours. It contains a few good tunes, but there are a lot that seem more like the lead singer needs to stop smoking before he loses his voice.

Punishing Kiss by Ute Lemper
Feb 01 2023

I was OK with this initially, but as it went along the songs just didn't sit well.

Parachutes by Coldplay
Feb 10 2023

I forgot how long some of these are.

2112 by Rush
Feb 13 2023
Rain Dogs by Tom Waits
Feb 14 2023

Strange music, but also kind of fun.

The Clash by The Clash
Feb 17 2023

I didn't find it very memorable even on the second listen.

Blur by Blur
Feb 20 2023
Stand! by Sly & The Family Stone
Mar 01 2023

Sex Machine may be the last song I listen to on this album.

Live At Leeds by The Who
Mar 07 2023

started out really strong. Actually don't mind the fact that it is live, harder to tell than many "live" albums.

Crocodiles by Echo And The Bunnymen
Mar 09 2023

Meh, why?

Devotional Songs by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan
Mar 16 2023

I enjoyed this way more than expected.

Dare! by The Human League
Mar 22 2023

Enjoyed the energy of some of the songs. But lots of synth isn't my favorite.

Beauty And The Beat by The Go-Go's
Mar 28 2023

Debating between a 3 or 4. Enjoy the beats but it tends to fade into the background

Be by Common
Mar 30 2023
In Rainbows by Radiohead
Mar 31 2023

Kind of sleepy for work listening

Funeral by Arcade Fire
Apr 03 2023
Ready To Die by The Notorious B.I.G.
Apr 06 2023

why.....? Sure it's got flow and rhythm, but still, Why?

Southern Rock Opera by Drive-By Truckers
Apr 12 2023

Meh, rock? I guess some of them. To me this is country with a bit of pep and a few less dogs dying. Hard to concentrate on the entire thing.

Heartbreaker by Ryan Adams
Apr 13 2023

slow and sad. Ya, not worth my time to finish this.

Odessey And Oracle by The Zombies
Apr 14 2023

I enjoyed this album. A refreshing difference with instrumentals compared to a lot of the recent vocal heavy tracks.

Berlin by Lou Reed
Apr 20 2023

A few strange songs and often sad. But the lyrics are well written

The White Album by Beatles
Apr 27 2023

I always forget how long this album is. And how strange some of these songs get.

Drunk by Thundercat
May 01 2023

Ok, strange. Not unpleasant to listen to, but the album art provides a good first impression.

Kenya by Machito
May 11 2023
Fetch The Bolt Cutters by Fiona Apple
May 16 2023

Not a big fan of this. But the lyrics are kind of interesting to listen to.

Vincebus Eruptum by Blue Cheer
May 18 2023

Is this anything other than someone yelling over very generic guitar riffs? Oh wait, it included a long drum solo. Now I'm definitely totally impressed.

Amnesiac by Radiohead
May 23 2023

Radiohead is just not my vibe. I feel like I only ever hear about 1 or 2 of their songs and whenever I try another song, I just loose interest immediately. I can get behind the jazzy bit in "Life In a Glasshouse" because it's not just a solo whinefest.

Stripped by Christina Aguilera
May 25 2023
American Idiot by Green Day
Jun 05 2023

I still enjoy this album, although not to quite the same extent as when it first came out.

Rust Never Sleeps by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Jun 06 2023

I like Neil Young's work, but this wasn't my favorite of his albums

Tom Tom Club by Tom Tom Club
Jun 07 2023

I am very amused but also confused. This sounds like something Ian would listen too. Overall it was fun background music, but I don't think I would play it with anyone around.

Cross by Justice
Jun 12 2023
Cheap Thrills by Big Brother & The Holding Company
Jun 13 2023

I enjoy the high energy.

Jun 14 2023

I enjoyed the music but that last summary song is dark. Probably would help if I watched the movie.

Goo by Sonic Youth
Jun 15 2023

This is just noise with some smokers rasping over it.

The ArchAndroid by Janelle Monáe
Jun 19 2023

Quite a trip but overall a lot of fun.

In A Silent Way by Miles Davis
Jun 20 2023

Smooth jazz. But hard to pay attention for 20 minute songs.

The Message by Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five
Jun 30 2023
Metal Box by Public Image Ltd.
Jul 05 2023

Yup, Sean hit it on the nose. Not a big fan, don't really see the point.

Dookie by Green Day
Jul 10 2023
Cut by The Slits
Jul 13 2023

So far I like the cover art more than the music...

Green by R.E.M.
Jul 17 2023

I guess for influential, this is an influential album because it lead to the next one. But considering how successful "Out of Time" was, I'm surprised this one is selected.

Boston by Boston
Jul 21 2023
In The Wee Small Hours by Frank Sinatra
Jul 24 2023

He sings well, but it is hard to listen to this much dramatic music.

Crosby, Stills & Nash by Crosby, Stills & Nash
Aug 08 2023

Enjoyed a few of the songs, most of them were just good background music. Surprised that I haven't heard the entire album before.

Timeless by Goldie
Aug 09 2023

with enough green stuff, maybe. At work, probably best to avoid for TP employees.

Heaven Or Las Vegas by Cocteau Twins
Aug 10 2023

Decent easy listening, but not terribly memorable

Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon & Garfunkel
Aug 17 2023

I like listening to these as a complete album so I can hear the different styles and methods they use.

In Utero by Nirvana
Aug 21 2023

A bit abrasive for me

Songs Of Leonard Cohen by Leonard Cohen
Aug 29 2023

Cohen sings well and puts a lot of complex metaphors in his songs; therefore, I can't follow what I'm listening to.

Bongo Rock by Incredible Bongo Band
Aug 31 2023

I love how polarizing the reviews are

Vivid by Living Colour
Oct 04 2023
Oct 05 2023

nah, I don't get this one. Maybe if I listened more carefully I could enjoy the themes, but right now, this isn't worth finishing.

Roots by Sepultura
Oct 11 2023

I can't finish this.

Kid A by Radiohead
Oct 17 2023

"Where'd you park the car? Where'd youuuuu paaaarkkk the caaaaaar...." I don't know, why are you asking me?? Gahh!

Picture Book by Simply Red
Oct 18 2023

I enjoyed this more than expected for reading the reviews. Upbeat vibes were a nice break.

Rio by Duran Duran
Nov 09 2023

fun, easy listening. high three stars

Arular by M.I.A.
Nov 17 2023

A little repetitive for my taste.
