God. These guys are the definition of eclectic... They just throw EVERYTHING in this album. Enjoyable hair rock. Lots of ballads. The kind of album that would annoy Melissa.

AMAZING. I mean... it's the violent femmes. Of course it's a great album. Pure wonder the whole way through.

Ugh. It's fine. I like the big songs, but some of them make me roll my eyes. Best album ever? NO. Terrible? No.

songs are either 8 minutes long or a minute. Their song is also used a meme.

Great album. Last song is way too fucking long. It’s hard to hear old bob dylan and not think of all the parodies

Fuck... this is a depressed Beck and it sucks all the fun out of what usually is a fun listen.

debut album... look at that fucking hair. An overall solid album. I wasn’t a huge fan of the soul covers because they didn’t really sound like The Who, but the original songs were great.

I have a hard time appreciating music I can’t understand. Sounded interesting though.

So ducking tired of these synthpop albums… they all sound the same.

Most Elvis Costello albums are just fine. This is the same. It's not terrible, but man, there is nothing special about it. I feel like a lot of these albums are just chosen because of ONE song, and this album feels like the perfect example of that. No song is really amazing, except for the closer (Peace, Love and Understanding). I also choked on my beer when he dropped the N Bomb.
