Very long, horn-y songs
Not my favorite. Had some palatable listens, but overall not my kind of music.
Really dug this one. They have one of my favorite weird finds that was featured on Mindhunter
As a native Memphian this one hits close to home. Growing up the guy became a gimmick and eye-roll when suggested by someone outside of Memphis, but I had forgotten how successful an artist he was. Good album, would listen again. Even with the cover.
They feel very full of themselves and confident in the music they’re producing but I’m not a fan.
My first listen, so taking it with a grain of salt. Album felt all over the place, no two songs similar but overall the sound was great. Not something I’d return to frequently but I would listen again.

There were a few standout songs that I really enjoyed and a few that I was left confused and not understanding. Overall a good album though.
Easy listen, played on a rainy Sunday and it was very peaceful. Could easily throw in the background anytime.
Quite an iconic album. Nice to hear some of the other songs on the album instead of just the hits.
Not my favorite. Had some palatable listens, but overall not my kind of music.
Loved it. More bluesy/“country” than I imagined but awesome to listen to.
Was excited when I remembered the track used in Mindhunter. Lot of the music on this sounds like it’s building to the hits.
Simple, easy listen. Funny enough I heard the title track played on the episode of Good Girls I watched the same day. Strange coincidence.
Solid album, crazy the first track is the title track but decent music!
Not a fan. This is music popular in circles that do not include me.
I loved it. Fun sound, funny band photos.
Fantastic album.
Not typically my cup of tea but I am definitely keeping it in mind for a challenging workout day next time around.
Can’t hate on Dolly. She’s a treasure even if her music isn’t my taste.
Easy listening, understandable it was so popular for the time.
Loved it. Definitely going back for future listens.
Smorgasbord of an album but overall pleasant listening.
Pretty good, some of them were a little funny to hear. Overall 3/5
Definitely a left field bat. But overall I didn’t mind.
Eh
No complaints, some I liked more than others.
Very different but kinda fun.
Didn’t realize so many familiar songs were on a relatively unknown album. Quality listen.
Thoroughly enjoyed this album.
No thanks.
Pretty good stuff
Didn’t realize how many songs I recognized from it. Quality album
Not my favorite ever, but solid.
Funny satirical album. It was aight
Pretty simple
Surprisingly didn’t like it. Heard great things about them, not anything I was a fan of.
Really dug it, thought the familiar one was coming around eventually and there it was with Come on Eileen
I’m a fan. Never heard of this artist but I will be in the future!
Can’t go wrong with the Beatles
Enjoyed it. Not my favorite CCR
Really dug it.
Not my favorite but good music.
Felt very gospel-y
Didn’t mind it. Lotta cool sax
I enjoyed it, but I listened to another orchestra focused album and didn’t like it as much as that.
Very soothing.
Really liked it. Peaceful music
Not as screaming as I imagined. Actually kinda liked it, to my surprise.
Every song tells a different story, all weird and vibrant. Feel like I could craft a different vintage movie from each song.
Not my favorite. Good elements, something felt off though.
Not my favorite.
Pleasantly surprised by this one.
Fun live experience.
Loved it
Always down for CCR
Classic album. Loved by me and everyone else.
Pretty fun album. I’d love to see the makings of with all the orchestral pieces
Really liked this album. Fun sound
Nothing crazy on this album, lots of instrumental, good listening.
Not my cup of tea, but I can appreciate the collection and collaboration.
Easy listening. Always a fan of Marley
Couldn’t find my groove in this album, but I can appreciate where someone would like it.
Interesting album. High production value with some good covers.
Simple and smooth. Great album
Didn’t mind the album, nothing crazy on it. Definitely not the album I would put on if someone asked me to play The Who
Not my vibe, I couldn’t find the gem but still quality sound.
Feels like I’ve got a turtle neck on smoking a cigar and drinking wine with this one. Very particular mood but I’m into it.
Fun and a little angsty
Loved it.
Enjoyed it
No thanks.
Solid. Not my favorite but probably because I couldn’t understand the lyrics, and that is on me.
All over the place. Wasn’t my jam for the most part.
The mood of the album was a little darker than I originally expected. Felt like there could be some contenders for Mindhunter episodes.
Obvious classic.
Felt like clean grunge if that makes any sense. Back to back with Nirvana was an unfair comparison. It was ok.
Jean Genie is a good listen, other tracks were less memorable but enjoyable overall.
Some questionable lyrics on tracks but overall a classic.
Really enjoyed it. Had no expectations and it was great
Some great ones and some strange in between.
Was not a Fan.
So smooth.
Loved it.
Very Run DMC-y, not bad though.
Gives me Beatles vibes
Really enjoyed it, reminded me of Parquet Courts.. probably an inspiration for PC
Any one artist I’m just absolutely not a fan of.. it’s Taylor Swift. Didn’t listen because I don’t want the algorithm to even suggest her.
Fun intro to techno but not my favorite.
Much more palatable than I expected from a band called “Megadeth”
Loved it. A couple that surprised me with how on the nose they were mixed in with classics.
Not my favorite genre but it wasn’t too bad.
Really enjoyed it, funky.
Actually much more mediocre than I expected from a legend.
They feel very full of themselves and confident in the music they’re producing but I’m not a fan.
Don’t understand the hype.
Raspy, breathy, kind of seductive. Nice beats, but not something I’d play on the regular.
Not bad, not my favorite.
Simple beats, fun lyrics over top.
Kinda bland, not going to lie.
Not my favorite but not bad for what it was.
Scary music! Was a fan though.
Really dug this one. They have one of my favorite weird finds that was featured on Mindhunter
Really smooth listening. Some twangy stuff, soft voice, enjoyable.
Simple and smooth, just not my taste.
Super melancholy but still great
Always a sucker for albums mentioning Memphis.
Very fun album.
A classic
Pretty eclectic mix. All over the place but I don’t hate it.
I’m wlright with songs about weed and the message here, just a little too much repetition on the topic.
Gotta be in a certain mood to enjoy but I was in that mood so…
Solid, simple album.
Loved it. Made me laugh a lot.
Fun, kinda grungy music I guess is how I’d describe it. Not my favorite but I’d leave it on in the background sometime.
Fun and full of energy. Obviously had no idea what was actually being said.
Classic. One I was actually already familiar with.
Another solid one.
Not my favorite but still enjoyable.
Always love Joni
Fun instrumentals. A fan
Felt like elevator music to me.
Loved it
Lot of similar sounding songs, but I knew the one hit!
It was smooth sailing.
California dreaming is a classic. Rea of the album was aight.
Really dug it
Simple, I liked it.
Lullaby music from what I heard. Maybe good to study to.
I liked what I heard
Ya like jazz?
Some fun sounds on this album, I wasn’t familiar with it but the artist name sounded familiar for some reason.
I can see why it was popular, but I didn’t like it at all. Super pop-y but not in a way that is memorable or pleasing to listen to more than once.
It was pretty good. Recognized a lotta the songs, just.. yeah.
Always a good time with this one.
Slow and melodramatic. Not bad, not my favorite.
Moody but okay.
Some fun sounds, I wish there were more lyrics.
It was a fun listen.
Heavy, dark, moody, gravelly, lotta anthems. Feels very German.
In the Right conditions could be a great listen. Couldn’t handle it at the gym though.
Very long, horn-y songs
Lotta whispering. Recognized the popular song though
Whole lotta guitar, classic band and great listen while in the shop!
Can imagine this was amazing to experience in person, still a fun listen regardless.
Unique, consistent sound. Felt a little whiny for my taste, but I can see the appeal!
Embarrassed to say I didn’t recognize the artist because I recognized all the music! Thoroughly enjoyed
Felt too much like church music, not a fan. 1/5
Not a fan, couldn’t put my finger on it.
Not a fan, couldn’t put my finger on it.
Reminded me a lot of the Bourne movie trailers, apparently inspired the soundtrack for Fight Club? Makes sense. Not my style but I could dig it.
Punk/garage rock, was an interesting listen and I guess I can see the appeal but not for me.
Love some Bob Dylan and his whiny, nasaly voice.
Didn’t know much about the band, album was pretty nice background noise despite being something vastly different from my usual listening.
I have heard of the Smiths, the album was pretty good, even though in my personal opinion, the singers voice is pretty monotone. Solid album overall.
Not the GOAT but I do love the Zombies
Nostalgia really works wonders. This album could be on par with the others I’ve listened to but the memories of my grandparents and brother that come up while listening bump this up, definitely.
Based on album art and title alone, not what I expected to hear at all. I feel like this group inspired The Lumineers, they sound similar in my opinion and later into the album the title starts to be a little more central. Lotta familiar sounds, no familiar tracks to me though. In the album’s defense, half the tracks were greyed out on Spotify. Pleasant background noise to say the least. 3/5
Mick Jenkins says “… got some Miles Davis in him, talkin all that jazz” and I’d heard it enough to remember but didn’t actually appreciate the reference until now. 2 tracks for a 38min album, what a legend. 5/5
It was aight. Not my fave not bad.
Loved the album art and wonder what media was influenced by/included these guys.
Bro was going through it on this album, some solid tracks and consistent sound. Gotta Get Up was used in Russian Doll and stuck in my head nowadays, for the better!
Bittersweet, this one. It’s fun but also replaced Dixieland Delight for Bama’s Student Song and that’s not cool.
It’s weird only ever hearing the popular tracks, there are some real oddball tracks in here but overall I dig it. 3/5
Felt like a lot of tracks setting up a song but no actual songs. They had fun though, 2/5
Person aside, album slaps.
One song familiar, not terrible.
Classic
So much nostalgia, loved it.
Another nostalgic classic
If it weren’t bob I don’t think I would’ve liked it as much but he’s the goat.
Didn’t recognize any of it, surprisingly. But it was alright.
Not a big fan.
So much nostalgia, great stuff
Expected to like it better.
Listened to it 4x without noticing. Solid album albeit a little one note at times.
It was interesting, not my favorite but still alright.
Soothing and acoustic, matches the store atmosphere but not a personal favorite. 3/5
Gave it a fairer listen, actually enjoyed!
Loved this. Only recognized one track but album was great.
Didn’t finish but enjoyed what I heard.
