I’m very familiar with Bon Iver, since my mom is a huge fan and I’ve heard most of these songs across her various playlists, but this is the first time I’ve ever sat down and actually listened to a full album of his in its entirety, and I really loved it!
I’m a big fan of a folk, so of course something like this was going to be my thing <3

tho I will say, this album is fucking BANANAS in the context of the band, the fact that this album was made straight after Red
I can’t tell you how musically jarring it is to listen to the majestic beauty of Starless, immediately followed by the wonderfully jerky Elephant Talk
there’s those two big songs that I’ve definitely heard more times than I can count, but the rest of the album is great too! really loved this - 9/10
