Wow what a record, i didn’t realise it was just a headphone masterpiece. Such subtleties in background noise and song composition, if you care to listen closely. Still not my favourite Wilco record but not a bad note played nor any albums fillers to be found. It is also very educational, as an album, taught me about the phonetic alphabet, KISS, the war on war. probably would give it 4.8, but definite 5 star on this rating scale. "Every song is a comeback every moment is a little bit later" Giddyup
easy listening 90's hip hop not something i lean towards but is inoffensive and nice seems quite a long album, and got boring after a while, as most of the tunes had the same tones, beats and rhythms to my un educated hop hop ears
depressing album for me, PJ Harvey not the most uplifting of artists but this album seems her in an ever darker mood. I prefer her earlier Sheila Na gig punk stuff, while thus is nicely produced, and lyrically smart just found it hard work, and cant see my myself ever listening to it again
I forgot how good this album was and still is. No fillers, all great tracks, with some bangers included, "Cut your hair" and "Range life" Great instrumentation and lyrics as always from pavement, even though i have no idea what they are singing about. Not my favourite Pavement album though, not a 5 star classic but definitely 4.5
Never heard this album in full before, so an interesting listen considering it was made only months after sex pistols broke up. Probably wont listen to it agaon though. One for the music history books, not my ears. Had one good song though
From the first song, it sounds like a Talking Heads b side , and quite a good one, but from there the album turns a bit darker. I can see the brilliance in the sound scapes, but the album isnt to my musical tastes
Post punk is not my favourite genre, but some of these songs are quite listenable. Angular, angry and anguished lyrics, ok for a first listen but something i would go back to.
Good album, lots of bangers, great sampling probably 3.5
Bloody well right
S*H*I*T although i can see what they are they are trying to achieve not as unlistenable as i first thought
Nice album Easy to listen to nothing special though
i didnt need to hear this album again nothing bad about it just nothing exciting about it
an album or even a band i think i should like more than i do Shoot out the lights better album in my opinion
this somehow has seeped into my DNA, i knew every word of every song even though i havent listened to the album for 20 years was a big u2 fan like most back in the 90's
i thought i would like this album more than i did it was k
never heard this album in full before quite enjoyed it not sure i will revisit it though some highlights
luckily this was hard to find and listen to as what i heard on youtube was not my bag unlistenable punk
40 two minute punk songs easy to listen to with some great ideas not quite the ramones though
another quality album from Beck very well produced, if not over produced probably wont g back and listen again though
quite over indulgent and long, probably prefer their first 4 albums
Better than i expected cant say i had ever listed to an entire Queen album in its entirety, as always just a radio friendly singles band
sort of arcade fire sounding without the emotion couldnt get into it
i love some eastern funk check out habibi funk compilations not thius
cant fault this album
some really surprising moments, and them some bland radio muck
