Ready To Die by The Notorious B.I.G.
Oct 25 2023

I can see why this album is a classic, and there's no denying of the talent behind it. But most of the songs felt too similiar to each other, and many sexual bits to an exaggerated point for an album. What's the deal with all the sex sounds?

Rock 'N Soul by Solomon Burke
Oct 29 2023

Heartwarming. Great for background (in the best way possible) and creating an atmosphere

At Fillmore East by The Allman Brothers Band
Oct 31 2023

Couldn't help but thinking to myself "this is music".

Tommy by The Who
Nov 01 2023
Moon Safari by Air
Nov 07 2023

I didn't suffer for about 10 seconds in total listening to this. Not my style AT ALL

Punishing Kiss by Ute Lemper
Nov 08 2023

This one really does feel like a punishment to me. Can't even get to the end

The New Tango by Astor Piazzolla
Nov 09 2023

It took a few tries to get in the mood of this one, but it was worth it. Virtuous and full of substance.

Nov 11 2023

This is ACTUALLY an album you have to hear before you die. Even if rap is not your thing, this album is flooded with undeniable talent. Eminem really knows how to tell a story. I'm still impressed by the creativity this man has.

Dec 03 2023

It wasn't the easiest listening but I enjoyed it. I like punk and it was interesting to absorb some of it's origins.

Guitar Town by Steve Earle
Dec 04 2023

Decently pleasant to listen to but nothing to write home about

The Velvet Underground by The Velvet Underground
Dec 05 2023

Solid album which I'd visit again in a better mindset

Kind Of Blue by Miles Davis
Dec 06 2023

Feels like an album that should be experienced either live or in a very specific mood

Lazer Guided Melodies by Spiritualized
Dec 07 2023

It's not my style but I enjoyed it, it felt a bit different and like I need to try and explore the genre more.

White Blood Cells by The White Stripes
Dec 09 2023

I love The White Stripes, but wonder why this is the recommended album. It's definitely not their greatest album.

Band On The Run by Paul McCartney and Wings
Dec 17 2023

It's good music, but not great music. Pleasant to listen to, but most of it won't stick with me. A 3.5/5.

Django Django by Django Django
Dec 18 2023

I'm ambivalent on this one, it's a 3.5 for me. It feels like a band I should explore more deeply and the songs do have character, but most of them don't feel like they're going to stick with me. Maybe it needs another listen, so for the sake of that doubt I'll give it a 4.

Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield
Dec 21 2023

I'd probably never listen to it again, but I appreciate the experience. Very unique

Bossanova by Pixies
Jan 19 2024

I didn't enjoy it as much as I "should". Good, not amazing.

Paul's Boutique by Beastie Boys
Jan 20 2024

I love their songs seperately, but listening to the entire album is A LOT

Movies by Holger Czukay
Mar 07 2024
Queen Of Denmark by John Grant
Jun 30 2024

The album is mostly annoying to listen to. Was powering through it worth it for two pretty good songs? Not really. Maybe I'll check out a different album from John Grant.

Murmur by R.E.M.
Jul 23 2024
Tical by Method Man
Sep 05 2024

Not bad but monotonous, would not listen again

The Blueprint by JAY Z
Dec 30 2024

The first half of the album was fun but for the second half I just waited for it to be over, so 3/5

Third by Soft Machine
Jan 01 2025

Some was nice (I feel it's more of a live music type of listening), some felt was really annoying to listen to.

Deloused in the Comatorium by The Mars Volta
Jan 02 2025

On the verge on being unlistenable. You really have to put a lot of effort to connect to this.

Surfer Rosa by Pixies
Jan 08 2025

Most isn't for me, but the 2 songs that are are masterpieces

Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits
Nov 10 2025

Setting the iconic song "Brothers in Arms", it's really not my jam. Something in the vibe of this entire music makes me uncomfortable for some reason.

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Nov 11 2025

A force to be reckoned with.

Nov 30 2025

I really enjoyed this one. I managed to listen to the entire album in 2 sessions and didn't feel it was too much. Works for a lot of different moods

KIWANUKA by Michael Kiwanuka
Dec 22 2025

I will give it a second listen, but it has some beautiful and touching songs. I felt it.

3 Feet High and Rising by De La Soul
Dec 23 2025

Half was really vibey and fun to listen to and half was annoying af

Blunderbuss by Jack White
Feb 24 2026

Was prepared to like it, but I didn't really enjoy this one.

Talking Heads 77 by Talking Heads
Feb 25 2026

This album felt like an experience in evolution. The experimenting of each of the songs made "Psycho Killer" happen. So although most of the album was a 3-3.5 for me, the experience itself deserves 4 at least :)

Dare! by The Human League
Mar 06 2026

I hate 80s music. This Album has whopping 2 songs that don't make me develop symptoms, that's something!

1999 by Prince
Mar 10 2026
Blue by Joni Mitchell
Apr 13 2026

I enjoyed about 2 songs, the rest were.. annoying.

1984 by Van Halen
Apr 14 2026

Maybe the first 80's album I actually enjoyed. It was diverse and not monotonic, good ol' Rock

A Seat at the Table by Solange
Apr 15 2026

I understand the appeal but it's really not for me.

Roxy Music by Roxy Music
Apr 16 2026

Immediatly want to listen to it again. Some absolute bangers

Five Leaves Left by Nick Drake
Apr 18 2026

I was moved. Last three songs in particular were lovely

Apr 19 2026
Arc Of A Diver by Steve Winwood
Apr 30 2026

Listenable but not something I'll go back to

I had to skip several songs but there were 1 or 2 that were a good listen

Cross by Justice
May 03 2026

Jun 08 2026

I can appreciate it but it's not an easy listen

Not their best album but there's no denying "The White Stripes" bring something special to the table
