1001 Albums Summary

What's not to love about this album. Half of this album contains some of the best well known rock songs in the 70s. And of course no one has lived life until they hear Free Bird. There is a bit of a lull at the latter half of the album but as a whole, truly a tremendous piece of classic rock.

Sorry I love Metallica, and I love orchestral music, but i just couldn't sit through this. Not even sure why this was included in this list when there are other much more generational heavy metal albums out there to listen to.

prob wo'nt listen to this again but french MC got a nice lyrical flow to it, and instrumentals are very diverse

3.5 the longer songs were surprisingly more enjoyable to listen to then the shorter ones

it's generic, it's pub rock, it's fish and chips, but the fish is juicy and the chips is crispy. it's OK

some great guitar playing, some janky singing, i do like the homemade quality to this but felt it lacked something that made it special

It took about 68 albums but finally an album that I know is an instant 5. One of my core childhood metal albums.

MERICCAAAAAA (not American). I could listen to this album all day every day. One of my all time favourites, love the heart, soul, and instant bangers left right and centre.

I dunno, for some reason this just sounds dated to me, as theoretically this is something I thought I would enjoy. Hate the vocals as well. only saving grace is some of the riffs in here

as a pianist, i enjoyed and appreciated it, as a casual music listener, it's good background music, but not one i'd actively listen to

I always was a fan of the earlier Radiohead albums, this stepped away from their grunge style at the time but still felt raw enough to feel rocky, while showing hints of the experimentation that was to define their later years. Sick band.

is this lyrically abhorrent? yeah. but are the beats funky as hell? also yeah

this was kind of weird but also not? i enjoyed this a bit more than i thought i would/should. the songs give more movie soundtrack aura but it kinda worked
