What have i just been listening to? I appreciate the way they have been creative with the longer tracks. But no. nooo.

I love that rock hippie vibe. Although it does not hold this for the entire album, some songs are a bit folky and slow.

I wasn't really impressed, I listened in the car, maybe I missed some details because of that.

I liked the album and rhythm, but could not listen to it the 2nd time I played the album.

Feeling 15 again. Did not expect this one to be in the list. While undeniably strong, the album's intensity makes it more of a concentrated experience than a casual repeat listen.

This is the kind of music that makes me turn off my radio. Despite the few hits from that era, I find it very difficult to listen to.

Such a beautiful talent! Amazing use of the plura of instruments available.. and love the iconic sound he produces with the clavinet.

Wow. Never really listened to Elton John's music. Thought it was boring. But, I was so very wrong. This album is very diverse in its expressions. Love it. I will keep listening to it.

Not sure why it's here. But i love the sound. Opener is nice, everything is nice. This one can be on repeat and i would not mind.

Old school memories with this one. Altough I discovered Green Day mainly trough Nimrod, Dookie was a quick catch up for me. I like the album from "Burn Out" to "All By Myself" back and forth. Love the album art too. Mine came with a green case. Still have it.

1996, bass and drums and soothing senthersiser sounds.This whole albums feels like a chill out evening, or just background during a focus session. The blend of rhythmic groove with atmospheric textures feels timeless. It's a Logical Progression from dancing to chilling.

Yeah, The title track is obviously iconic. The whole album is filled with great songs. With Life in the Fast Lane and New Kid in town pulling the peloton ahead.

It's absolutly brilliant.

This one kicked in right from the start with 'Safe From Harm'. The whole album flows effortlessly. Carried by slow, thundering bass grooves a combined with good vocals.. The whole album has you swinging and chilling at the same time.

This one hurt.. The supposedly groundbreaking fusion of garage rock and punk feels more like a relentless assault on the ears.

IMO, best listend as a whole. Leonard Cohen's strong, dark voice leads us through a masterful exploration of mortality, depression, and spiritual longing with both gravitas and exciting expectation.. This is one of my favorites and I can listen to endlessly, a deep final statement from a legendary songwriter.

Catchy, cool jazz with a distinctive piano rhythm. Just like Dave Brubeck probably didn't expect his tunes to become hits, I didn't expect to be so drawn in by this cool jazz, with its saxophones and catchy rhythmic style

Love the band's raw energy.. the speedy, blistering guitarwork and fast paced drums. It's rock&roll on a high-octane mixture.

This bass-wizard Thundercat made a funky space-trip. Soul-searching grooves to trap-funk magic.

Great album. It has defined my youth as a young listener. The album goes back in memory lane, ofcourse with the likeable hits ike Disarm and Today. The vulnerable lyrics combined the guitar work and the symphonic complexity make it great.

I really dig the happy egg vibe that ELO creates in this album. Love songs, heartbreak and finding happiness. Technically I like the orchestral arrangements blended in rock. I bought the album in my youth because of Mr. Blue Sky and i wore it out.

I certainly love the debuut of Coldplay, but i have a complicated relationship with it. The individual songs are beautiful - Chris Martin's vulnerable vocals surely do touch. Yellow will always be special. That said, I cannot listen to the entire extend of the album in one sitting. Perhaps the consistent melancholy. I tune out, or I get this sad depressed feeling. It's almost too effective at projecting those elements of vulnerability.

Punk rock classic.Blitzkrieg Bop and Judy Is a Punk burst with simplicity and attitude. It’s the roots of later punk bands, yet I crave the refinements the later generation bands added.

This is one of the greatest albums ever, for me. I Love the double storylines in the album. The clasic coming-of-age story and the society criticism. Could really connect to it as a youngling: crying along to Boulevard of Broken Dreams and feeling the devastasing loss of young love in Whatsername.

Wow. I’ve listened to this album for hours and hours back when I was 14-15 I loved the explicit lyrics, I loved the whole vibe. The Marshall Mathers LP felt raw, rebellious, and unlike anything else at the time.

This one has me hooked, great talent. I've heard her songs, but never connected to them. I like that the album had a good constrast and feels pure.

This brings back great memories, Clocks, In My Place, The Scientist... all bangers! I remember the first time I heard Clocks: early morning around 05:30 am on 3FM while doing my paper route as a teenager. Giel played it as a promo before the album dropped. Love at first hearing

A ride of brilliance of weird music mixing together. Feels like you're into a movie, but your're not. And yet..

Punk from the first second. Short bursts of energy, like rapid fire that lands a punchline. GO!

Hard to judge objectively when it's this praised. But stripping away the hype and hearing it in 1967 context, this is exceptional.

an MIT engineer recording one of the best-selling (debut)albums of all time in his basement, legendary. It’s More Than a Feeling, and the entire album has this smooth, easy-going rock vibe. Consistently great.

Respect the craft, the complexity, tempo changes, and intricate riffs. But honestly, too much shifting for my taste. Not for me.

Hit and miss. The tunes are good, lyrics cynically clever, his voice like a turtle with a cold.

He owns it, solid hits, great sound, great voice. But it plays as one long piece. Maybe it needs more listens than I had time for.

All that fighting for creative control, and this is what they made? Boring folk-rock. The story's better than the album.

Haha, what is this? Feels like attack mode = on. Had to switch to the originals just to get a feel for what's being done here. It must have been great to be in the band, playing this music at this pace and volume.. from that perspective, I'd give it 5 stars. But since I cannot listen to it whitout holding on to that perspective… it goes down to 2.

Repetitive sounds, I simply cannot listen to

Laid-back desert grooves, warm horns, folky at its core. But it gets messy in the experimental in-between tracks.

The whole album has its distinct sound, and great hits like Lovefool make me go back memory lane. I appreciate the metal influences mixed with poppy music. I think they set a foundation for this genre.

Tight musicianship and raw power, but it's a bit over-the-top for me. I've read it was disruptive and set a foundation for new forms of metal to come, which makes the listen different
