an MIT engineer recording one of the best-selling (debut)albums of all time in his basement, legendary. It’s More Than a Feeling, and the entire album has this smooth, easy-going rock vibe. Consistently great.

This is one of my favorites and I can listen to endlessly, a deep final statement from a legendary songwriter.

I certainly love the debuut of Coldplay, but i have a complicated relationship with it. The individual songs are beautiful - Chris Martin's vulnerable vocals surely do touch. Yellow will always be special. That said, I cannot listen to the entire extend of the album in one sitting. Perhaps the consistent melancholy. I tune out, or I get this sad depressed feeling. It's almost too effective at projecting those elements of vulnerability.
