On The Beach
Neil YoungDidn't give it a proper listen, pleasant sounding folk.
Didn't give it a proper listen, pleasant sounding folk.
Really enjoyed this. Like ambient hip hop or somet
Jazz, was pleasant to listen to. Not majorly bothered.
More jazz, sounded cool but I don't really get it
Very good, guitar was cool. Nice to know where Layla came from
Lot of old bangers, enjoyed it.
Not very into this
Verged on cliche 60's hippy mystic sounds at some points but I enjoyed it
Couple of good songs on this, recognized a few of them. Very classic rock.
Loved this one
Great, really emotional. Really surprised to hear black is the color on there
Didn't really know what prog rock actually was, was decent enough
Liked this, poppier new order sorta vibe
Bit better than the other Who album listened to so far but still not a fan. Lot of the lyrics have aged very badly. Kinda boring.
Didn't finish this, not into it
Some cool sounds but vocals were very dated sounding
The was class, funky, jazzy, great stories
Very pleasant, lovely voice
Wasn't excited for this but was pleasantly surprised
Weird mix of beachboys find and kind show band yacht Rock. Not terrible
Easy to see why he is so reveared
This was incredible, so strange but very fun
Thought I'd hate this but it grew on me a bit, very political, very dark
Pretty good; jazzy, funky and a bit strange. Lot of repeating sounds through the different songs was quite cool
Old classics, pretty good
Good, like the rolling Stones but without the fatigue it's having heard it all a load
Very pleasant listen but probably wouldn't go back
Enjoyed it
Loved this, tried to get into Iggy pop before but wasn't into it but clearly I started in the wrong place
Couldn't finish, really not into it
Great songs, pity he was such a prick
Great as expected, not that many big hits in this one but every song was still amazing
This was class
Nice background music, still can't fully pay attention to jazz
Wasn't looking forward to this but it was decent, fun upbeat classic rock
Decent, few banger adjacent songs. More punk than most post punk
Not bothered
Fantastic, suave and jazzy with some lyrical interest and nice movie tension
Insanely good, so many classics
Good vibe
Very Bowie-esque, very listenable
Thought it was going got be more standard classic rock but was a bit more interesting, child in time my hilight
This album was taken off Spotify, listened to Johannesburg instead. Best jazz so far
Was in French, sounded pretty decent but no idea what it was about. Nice vibe to it
Wasn't fully available on Spotify but the tracks I could get were pretty good
You can tell this influenced a lot
Great. Fun to listen to, very upbeat but interesting.
Legend
Fine, interesting in parts. The description had me thinking that's was going to be incredible but it was just fairly standard 60s psych rock
I've been getting a bit tired of all the classic rock I end up listening to on this list but this one was actually great, really enjoyed it. Interesting and lively and the hits mixed in were great throwbacks.
Good
Incredible
Thought this was going to be more classic rock but it was actually really off the wall electronic stuff, to me a bit like non instrumental sigur Ross or something like that. Was fun.
Highs are brilliant, lows were strange
Quite bad, don't see why it's on the list
Got stronger though the middle, must give it a proper listen paying attention to lyrics
Need to do a deep dive on Queen, casually throwing bohemian Rhapsody in as the second last song on an album full of classics is insane
Enjoyed it, wasn't what I thought the police sounded like
Not really my thing
Great
Not a fan
Good stuff, very nice vibe with some good atmosphere
Some interesting melodies going gon
Hard to review the on merit because of how unused to the genre I am.
Lovely
Found vocals quite grating and music boring.
Decent indie rock, most mid, some good highlights
Musically quite cool but not for me overall
A bit more palatable than most metal but still not for me
Good to revisit, still great
Really great, some lines haven't aged well but overall brilliant
I'm sure this is incredible but I still really struggle to pay attention to lyrics. Cool haunting type sound though
Good
Very fun and quite dark.
Started slow, got a bit better through the middle. Not a massive fan but pretty good.
A country album that I actually enjoyed listening to is a rarity so this was nice
Fine, sounded like fairly standard 90s hip hop to me. Enjoyed it but wouldn't go back
Objectively great but there's something about the 200s emo rich sound that I just find off-putting. Good to listen to though.
Good, some I treating bits but wouldn't go back
Grand
Meh
Great, nice soundscapey vibe to it. Quite dreary though
Was expecting a bit more but was still great. Think I preferred side 2.
Very pleasant
Great, mellow classic type stuff.
