Definitely Maybe by Oasis
Jun 10 2025

Decent. Catchy generic sound, but on the back end hasn't aged much.

Home Is Where The Music Is by Hugh Masekela
Jun 14 2025

Kind sweet until the last song, which is so bad and inconsistent with the foregoing that it lost a star

BEYONCÉ by Beyoncé
Jun 16 2025

This was not good at all. Y’all must be drunk [in love]

Scott 2 by Scott Walker
Jun 18 2025
At San Quentin by Johnny Cash
Jun 19 2025

Don’t know that I needed the song straight up repeated.

Dirty by Sonic Youth
Jun 20 2025

If you like listening to variations of shitty guitar feedback, this is the album for you.

The Suburbs by Arcade Fire
Jun 21 2025

Crazy takes here. This is a classic album

Songs Of Love And Hate by Leonard Cohen
Jun 25 2025

Fan of the sound of the album (outside of much of the singing), but otherwise could be rough at times.

Slayed? by Slade
Jun 29 2025

Dudes got pipes and there’s consistent musicianship with variation between songs. Guitar sound is a bit grating, I’d like to hear them with modern polish on the recording.

Loveless by My Bloody Valentine
Jul 03 2025
Pacific Ocean Blue by Dennis Wilson
Jul 06 2025

You could cross the Pacific Ocean in the time it takes to finish this album.

Hot Fuss by The Killers
Jul 09 2025

Never actually listened to the full album, and didn’t realized that it basically contains all their jams.

Justified by Justin Timberlake
Jul 10 2025

90 percent is so bad that I can’t give the decent parts any star-based credit

25 by Adele
Jul 12 2025
Amnesiac by Radiohead
Jul 15 2025

The worst Radiohead album I’ve ever heard. Any other band and no critic would have put it anywhere near this list

Appetite For Destruction by Guns N' Roses
Jul 16 2025

Slash hard carrying this album. Hard to rate because of the highs and lows.

Smile by Brian Wilson
Jul 21 2025

Finding this one really hard to rate. Some of that is the weird context of the album, but the production is great and I’ve never heard an album flow from one song to the next as effectively—it plays like one fever dream.

Low by David Bowie
Jul 22 2025
Purple Rain by Prince
Jul 23 2025

Some highs, but the lows really dragged this

Paranoid by Black Sabbath
Jul 24 2025

Every member of the band killing it for their part, consistent themes and sound, no bad songs and a few all-timers. An easy five irrespective of Ozzy’s death or its outsized influence.

Eagles by Eagles
Jul 25 2025

I’m going to veer from the group and rate this highly, classic singles but even the deep tracks are mostly solid. I wish these ratings were out of ten, because really I think this album is an 8.5, but I guess that means I’m rounding up.

Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix
Jul 26 2025

All Along the Watchtower and Voodoo Child truly save this album

Damaged by Black Flag
Jul 27 2025

Just not good. There’s a huge quality gap between this album and Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables

At Budokan by Cheap Trick
Jul 28 2025

Realizing that I enjoy live albums. Honestly considering 4 or 5 for this. Also rare that a live album song version is the definitive recording (I want you to want me).

Elephant by The White Stripes
Jul 29 2025

I would ride this album like the haradrim

World Clique by Deee-Lite
Jul 31 2025

Not my taste but decent. My heart didn’t find the groove of some of the deeper tracks

Blonde On Blonde by Bob Dylan
Aug 02 2025

Surprised by how little I enjoyed this. Lyrics are good and some solid tracks—but my man, if your voice sounds like that you can’t also be absolutely blaring mediocre harmonica. If the point of an album is to make enjoyable sounds, then shouldn’t your sound be good?

In Our Heads by Hot Chip
Aug 10 2025

It was mostly fine, but that’s about all I’ve got

Hot Rats by Frank Zappa
Aug 12 2025

Somewhere between a 3 and a 4 for me. Good and kinda jammy, but not memorable.

The La's by The La's
Aug 13 2025

Familiar with the single but not this album. Pretty impressed. the album falls off a bit towards the end, but a nice mix of like Kinks/REM/acoustic-heavy alternative. On the borderline between 4 and 5–if it had another solid single I’d bump it up easy.

Aug 14 2025

Liked the sound and vibe, but not enough of the individual songs

Vento De Maio by Elis Regina
Aug 15 2025

Hard to review without understanding the lyrics or context, but the music itself was enjoyable enough

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Aug 16 2025

The depth of this album is almost unparalleled, and if we just forget that Oh Daddy exists, doesn’t hit particular lows.

1984 by Van Halen
Aug 19 2025

Fairly dense. Both carried and undercut by Eddie’s great/overdone guitar playing

Tommy by The Who
Aug 21 2025

A rock opera with a story I really couldn’t follow or get into, and not too many great tracks. Gains a point for the attempt and influence.

Sep 02 2025

All over the place. I just can’t rate an album highly if I have to listen to a (total shit) song about graphically killing your ex that lasts two minutes longer than your single.

Pearl by Janis Joplin
Sep 10 2025

The album was deeper than I was expecting. I don’t necessarily love or hate Joplin as a singer on singles, but her tone with the quality of the old recording does grate after several tracks.

Fulfillingness' First Finale by Stevie Wonder
Sep 15 2025

Pretty good. GF called it elevator music, and it was hard to mount a credible counter argument.

Dookie by Green Day
Sep 29 2025

Damn catchy.

Ágætis Byrjun by Sigur Rós
Oct 04 2025

Listened while driving around Scotland’s highlands, and the vibes still didn’t carry this album too far.

Melodrama by Lorde
Oct 17 2025

Fine. Overproduced and underwritten

Funeral by Arcade Fire
Oct 21 2025

Generally solid throughout.

Surfer Rosa by Pixies
Oct 25 2025

Generally enjoy the sound and style, but wish there was another great song or two in the album

Frank by Amy Winehouse
Oct 31 2025

Some was fine, but only really enjoyed a song or two.

Back In Black by AC/DC
Nov 01 2025

When I think of what rock music should sound like, the guitar tones from this album are the first thing that come to mind.

Nov 21 2025

Influential album that I think is a bit overrated. The few good tracks can get lost in the noise and mediocre ones.

Pretenders by Pretenders
Dec 02 2025

Enjoyed generally, especially some of the harder songs

Sea Change by Beck
Dec 06 2025

Lost cause is great, but the album wears on you

Who's Next by The Who
Dec 12 2025

A who’s who of tracks and hits. Fantastic.

The Visitors by ABBA
Dec 28 2025

It wasn’t actively bad, but never pulled me in.

Autobahn by Kraftwerk
Jan 01 2026

It was impressive how effectively they would abandon the enjoyable parts of their songs for ambient dog sounds.

Doggystyle by Snoop Dogg
Jan 08 2026

Produced well. Often great beats and catchy. Lyrics lacking. Not a fan of non-music tracks

Green Onions by Booker T. & The MG's
Jan 24 2026

Kind of a jam

Led Zeppelin II by Led Zeppelin
Jan 25 2026

An improvement on their first album, AND a gollum reference. Easy 5. I don’t know what’s wrong with the Harris boys.

Eliminator by ZZ Top
Feb 26 2026

Between a 3 and 4, much better than their previous album on the list, but still had some low tracks

Dry by PJ Harvey
Mar 02 2026

Enjoyed the album quite a bit, but not a lot of individual songs that I’m drawn to.

Play by Moby
Mar 10 2026

Great and the beginning through the middle, but significant falloff.

Casanova by The Divine Comedy
Mar 19 2026
Parklife by Blur
Mar 21 2026

There’s way too much Brit pop on this list.

Chelsea Girl by Nico
Mar 25 2026

Not totally down with singing that’s almost in tune. Nonetheless, the album started strong but was a slog by the end

Punishing Kiss by Ute Lemper
Mar 26 2026

With most albums I dislike, I can at least understand why they are on this list even if the are not to my taste. This album is the exception.

Talking Book by Stevie Wonder
Mar 28 2026

Pretty good, a bit inconsistent

21 by Adele
Apr 07 2026

Even if not my genre, a clearly great album.

Crazysexycool by TLC
Apr 13 2026

Normally a classic song will bump an otherwise bad album up a star… but man every other song was rough

Liege And Lief by Fairport Convention
Apr 17 2026

Kind of a weird jam

Odelay by Beck
May 19 2026

Often good. Often a bit much.

Let It Bleed by The Rolling Stones
May 25 2026

Not only a great composition (if some questionable songs therein), but my favorite Stones sound.

Band On The Run by Paul McCartney and Wings
May 26 2026

Starts off strong but falls off significantly.

Deep Purple In Rock by Deep Purple
May 28 2026

Enjoyed more than I was expecting on a full listen through, and you can hear it’s influence on subsequent music.

Paris 1919 by John Cale
May 29 2026

Enjoyed this considerably more after re-listening to a few of the tracks

Bad by Michael Jackson
Jun 02 2026

Good but not his best. Not a fan of the sound and tone.

American Idiot by Green Day
Jun 04 2026

Biggest album of my generation, but on fresh listen through quite a lot fell flat, especially toward the end. Tough one to rate

Jun 13 2026

Lyrics: mostly dumb. Band:often insufferable. But damn if this isn’t arguably the catchiest album ever written.

S&M by Metallica
Jul 11 2026
Phaedra by Tangerine Dream
