Not bad album but definitely not for me.
Absolute classic album!
One of their best.
Of course "Gimme Shelter" is the biggest hit of the album but I do like the blues-ish songs: "Love in Vain", "Country Honk" and "Live with Me".
Btw, "Love in Vain" was written by Robert Johnson.
The title song "Let It Bleed" is pretty good as well.
The only weak song is "Monkey Man".
"You Can't Always Get What You Want" closes the album in great style. A bit repetitive but nice song.
I never got into funk music and this album keeps me away from it.
Found it bit boring, chorus are too repetitive and tiring.
Gotta be honest, I skipped the last song, so damn boring.
When this popped up I thought "not again".
I've seen this album in so many different lists and tried to listen to it before but never passed from the second or third song.
I finished the album but didn't listen to any song until its end.

I'm wasn't familiar with this album, actually not very familiar with Bowie's work but I liked this album.
Good stuff.
I knew the song Wild World thanks to Mr Big wonderful cover.
Later I found it was a cover from Cat Stevens and gave the album a play.
It was refreshing to get to play this album again after so many years.
My favourite song is "Hard Headed Woman" that reminds me of Jethro Tull.

If you forget that is Elvis you might end up enjoying this album, or part of it as it is too mellow for my taste, too many ballads.
The 3 last songs are totally forgettable.
The 3rd album of one of the most amazing, wonderful and brilliant three-album run in the music history "Machine Head" is an absolute classic hard rock album.
The band was on fire!
The synergy is extraordinary, everything fits perfectly: Lord's magical keys, Blackmore's delightful riffs and solos, Glover's perfection and Paige's precision and Gillan's golden voice!
Favourites: Highway Star, Lazy, Space Truckin', Never Before, Maybe I'm a Leo, Pictures of Home and Smoke On The Water (yeah got tired of this song even though it is a classic).

The album starts at the 3rd track for me as I got tired of Jump and Panama over the years.
The drumming on the beginning of "Hot for Teacher" is just crazy, probably the best song of the album.
"I'll Wait" is the weaker song of the album.
The album ends very well with "Girl Gone Bad" and "House of Pain".
It could be used for background noise but it is so boring even for that.

This is something else, not your usual hits and radio friendly music.
If you are a close minded person don't even give it a try .
If you want background noise then skip it.
It needs time to digest it, to get yourself familiar with her voice, arrangements and the wonderland where this album lives in.
Once the initial shock pass one can discover the wonder of this fairy tale inform of music, only more complex, unusual and unique.
"Monkey and Bear" is my favourite song of the album.
I was expecting not to like this but ended up playing this album three times!

Jeff Beck!
This was the first album that I checked Wikipedia before hitting the play button as I don't like Clapton playing.
I first discovered Yardbirds because of Jimmy Page and then Clapton and Beck but never properly played any album before before this album.
I never like Clapton as guitarist and found him very overrated player, fortunately this album features Jeff Beck on guitar and was the reason I give it a go.
This is a studio album and features original compositions.
If you like rock music from '60s you are in for a good treat.
Not only a classic but an excellent album.

Played it three times during my day.
Classic album from MPB (Brazilian Popular Music) and the godfather of Samba Rock.
"Camisa 10 da Gávea" refers to Zico, the biggest player ever of Flamengo, the team Ben Jor support and the team with biggest numbers of supporters in Brazil.
Gávea is a neighbour in Rio de Janeiro where Flamengo's headquarters is and the place where the team used for practice as well.
Obviously, 10 is the number of the shirt (or jersey) that Zico used during his whole career, mostly playing for Flamengo.
He also played in Italy and was the Kickstarter of Football in Japan alongside with another Brazilian players.
And yes, I support Flamengo as well.
Interesting fact: Jorge Ben changed his name to Jorge Ben Jor to avoid confusion with George Benson.

Totally forgetable songs, superficial and weak album but could not expect anything different from them.
It is hard to understand why this album made the list.

I've never heard of Magnetic Fields before and I don't think I was missing anything.
Anyway the album is from 1999 but sounds like it was from 1969, maybe that was the idea?!
There's a mix of genres including Country 🤮, pop 🥱 and Pop Rock 🤨.
It is not bad but it not amazing either.
My main gripe with Soul Music is about singers "screaming" too much.
I don't know why they need to sing high notes all the time but that's a torture to the soul 😉
But Marvin is a different story!
Although being a political record Marvin' wonderful singing, melody and calmness makes this record delightful.
Great album and a reminder to listen to Marvin more often.

This is one of those records that should be in any list of perfect releases and best debuts.
I've never heard any song from The Charlatans before (that I remember) and it was a nice surprise.
Overall it is a great album and based on Wikipedia, it is one of their best which is a good entry point to the band.

Although I have never played any of his albums in full but if a "best of" didn't convinced me, a album would not do it, right? Yes, right. Nothing good here.

I never imagined Soul Music would had such long songs as on this album.
But then I discovered there's this thing, I mean, subgenre called Progressive Soul and I might dig a bit deeper to find out more about it.
The song ”Hyperbolicsyllabicsesquedalymistic" is my favourite, maybe because it has a The Doors vibe.
Preface almost put me off but "Lights On" (my favourite) kept me going.
It is an intriguing album, not something I would normally play and probably wouldn't play it again but who knows.
