1001 Albums Summary

Surprisingly melodic - not what I expected given my limited exposure ot Nirvana. Pleasantly surprised!

Haven't listened to much Depeche Mode other than the pop hits but I quite liked it

I really liked this album - although I'm old enough to have liked it when it came out originally! Typical Deep Purple.

This is typical Van Halen - rock anthem-y and a fair bit of angst by David Lee Roth on loves lost/won etc You wont be disappointed with this album but you won't find anything super different to what you were used to with Van Halen

I’ve never really listened to the Black Keys but found 5he album refreshing - a nice mix of blues/rock with some softer more melodic tracks. Have enjoyed this one!

Absolutely loved this! Wouldn't give many albums 5* but this is one i will - "Ain't no way" is a classic tune

Not a Beatles fan - intricate songs certainly and i enjoyed listening to them but wouldn’t be my first choice

A true icon - not everyone's favourite but I loved this!
