1001 Albums Summary

Funky sound with a Curtis Mayfield having a great voice. However, the album doesn’t quite resonate with me. Was a fun listen but don’t know if I would any songs to my playlist. Overall a 3/5

An album that may have had more of an influence on me if listened to during the time it was released. The guitar throughout stole the show but couldn’t get over the shrill voice of the lead singer, just personal opinion. Overall, the title track was probably the best but nothing really stood out to me. Two stars
