This is one of the worst albums I ever listened to in my life. I surely hope the submission of this album was a bad joke. It is (thank God) very short and full of Scooter style metalcore rave tracks. The lyrics are stupid (special mention "Fuckboi") and uninteresting. It also has schlager style tracks (f.e. "Hurrikan"). Maybe this is "fun" on a summer festival, but even then I would be annoyed after a track or two. A one star rating does not do this album justice.

You say "we need more energy", I turn on Electric Callboy. Great ridiculous add to an already wild assortment of music.

I listen to a podcast where the host made his own theme song using AI and this is what it sounds like

This is the two genres I hate most mashed together. You have some screamo metal that’s done over some club techno sounds and all of the songs are about things that were more popular 10 years ago. This was one of the worst albums on the new list. 0.7/10

This is actually a lot of fun. Sillu exuberance, wrapped up like the bastard child of Scooter and Rammstein. Don't take it too seriously, it's not meant to be world-changing.

Not really my genre in a couple of respects. I didnt hate it, but it seemed pretty much just, well, techno... with some Teutonic growl-shouting.

When the screaming started I thought I might be out, but it wasn’t as rough as I often find that sort of singing. In fact a lot of the songs were pretty good. Fuckboi was great, and there are several others that I really liked. While still not my cup of tea it was tight and the runtime worked to its advantage.

I thought this was going to be way, way worse than initially suspected. It's not great and it's very generic but it is short. That helps so much. My personal rating: 3/5 My rating relative to the list: 3/5 Should this have been included on the original list? No.

Recipe 1 part German deathcore 1 part 2000s pop 1 part techno beats Combine in a bowl with reckless abandonment. Bake at whatever temperature you want. This was not enjoyed by me, but I did appreciate that they tried something different.

There is something there with Tekkno but it's not quite all there. Metalcore mixed with Europop stylings doesn't seem like it should work, and it often doesn't, but every so often it seems to catch me and make me want more. Mindreader and Parasite are really good songs for example, but they're followed soon after by Hurrikan which might as well have been a collab with Cartoons or Vengaboys or any of those late 90s novelty acts, and there are other examples throughout where it's like they're working with Scooter and HP Baxxter is dropping bars over the top (We Got The Moves, Spaceman). Then the closing track Neon is a really good heavy rock ballad tune, not even metalcore. I dunno, I can see some of the appeal, but the exection isn't great (and the production is way too clean for metal), yet it has some bops and only lasts half an hour. Probably lands on the 2.9 side of a 3 for a 2/5.

electro heavy metal? seems like every songs starts interesting then falls off a cliff as soon as the vocals come in, the standout song is the one with guest vocals - FCKBOI and I actually listened to and enjoyed a few of that bands songs after this - 2

Techno metal, before this morning I didn’t realise such an album existed. After listening to it, I’m not sure it should exist. Couple of interesting parts but the lyrics are very silly, and not much depth to the songs.

Just plain bad. Overloaded arrangements, bad production that sags under the weight of so many elements at once, and terrible lyrical content and focus. Metal is a genre ripe for fusion with how technical and layered it can be, but there has to be some artful consideration of HOW to layer in new elements without just throwing things at the wall and seeing what sticks. Also gives me flashbacks to the lolXDsoRandom! era of the early teens, which is impressive for an album made a decade later.

August 13, 2025 HL: "Arrow of Love", "Neon" It evokes "anime battle" music sometimes, but I quickly became disenchanted with the mindless EDM beats supporting these metalcore breakdowns that are simply not my thing. My favourite vocals are the guest ones from Conquer Divide ("Fuckboi"). I found the actual vocalists from Electric Callboy irritating, particularly the growly one. In a way, the mishmash of genres is a noble experiment, but it just so happens to include so many tropes I hated the most about 2010s rock and pop. Like if Marianas Trench decided to be death metal. 1.5/5
