Aftermath
The Rolling Stonesi mean it’s the rolling stones so of course they’re influential but not their best work. the songs were just incredibly repetitive to a very obnoxious point. nothing much to say other than that.
i mean it’s the rolling stones so of course they’re influential but not their best work. the songs were just incredibly repetitive to a very obnoxious point. nothing much to say other than that.
oh my god. why why WHY how is this influential. this is the worst album ever. the voice- awful. and the background? i cant even call it music. why is there screeching. it hurt my ears. this is not good in ANY way. the first song was just boring but it got progressively terrible each song after I did not enjoy this album for even a second I don’t understand how this is influential in anyway. sorry 😞
very large amount of harmonica. in a bad way. it was very loud and annoying. i mean don’t get me wrong, he has talent, but this album did nothing for me.
I love this album giving it a five probably because I know all the songs but I just think they’re really fun I know it’s not that advanced but I just really love the album
literally terrible there were such random screeching noises and i cannot think of any way this is influential i literally hate this album no offense
pretty cool, just a little repetitive in my opinion but I like the rhythm.
pretty cool, just a little repetitive in my opinion but I like the rhythm.
mellow dramatic, repetitive, but nice sound
mellow dramatic, repetitive, but nice sound
pretty cool sounding, nothing i would die to listen to tho !
not terrible but also not the best
loved it.
loved it
really alternative and fun!!!
really fun to listen to, not their best album but still loved it.
pretty fun, not completely my style
really weird at some times but liked some songs!
not my fave to be honest, just a little boring.
reallly weird. i’ve heard some of his mother music is good. but don’t love this album!
kinda boring but nice
it was okay. kind of boring and weird ?
it was a nice beat, but really boring to be honest.
love anything by them!
loved it so much
it was really exciting at first but the fact it was a 25 minute song made it seem never ending, and the short songs were just disappointing. really loved the beginning tho!
pretty weird but cool sound!
kinda boring, but good to do work to
it was really weird, some of the songs were really competitive and just not good, others were just boring. but some songs were nice 👍
kinda boring, but good to do work to
surprisingly not as bad as i thought it would be considering it’s country 😂 but nice voice just not my style completely.
the hard metal was just not the best and it got super repetitive.
not their best album, but fun
it’s country so eh but not the worst i liked it
it’s country so eh but not the worst i liked it
twas alright
beautiful love it sm yas queen
funky and something new!
it was veryyyyyyvery long and it just all sounded like one ling thing but nice sound
i really like the sound
i actually really liked the sound!
nah
i tbink it was a completely average album, i think it was just too similar for me but i did like over all the sound. but the genres were strange but nice sound!
not the most upbeat and my style but incredibly influential and he has a great voice and music overall.
i actually really liked this because it reminded me of ac/dc
i liked it more as it went on, it was lowkey repetitive but in a good way so i overall liked the sound
literally terrible there were such random screeching noises and i cannot think of any way this is influential i literally hate this album no offense
lover it
it was a really nice sound!
i liked this album nothing totally stood out to me except card cheats but i did like it overall
i really liked the spooky aspect of this album. it’s too good to be a 3 but i feel like not quite a 4, so i say 7/10 or 7.5/10!
i loved this album it’s amazing. no skips and they showed so much emotion but it wasn’t a soppy thing.
overall i liked the album, but one song aggravated me to a point where i now have to rate it a three. helpless- it was just so bad it ruined my energy on the whole album, but there were other great ones.
i just don’t really see how this was all that influential, and it was a rather obnoxious sound
nothing completely special or out of this world but it was a funky and fun sound
i really liked the sound but some of the songs were really repetitive and it got annoying after while but i did like it
at first i couldn’t decide whether to give a 1 or 2 but now i know it’s a 1 because it was just awful. the album felt so ling even though it was 40 minutes. and the songs were just so awkward, the song without words just had humming and it was un listenable.
just overall weird. not a great super fun vibe and it was just not my favourite
i would give this album a 7/10 if i could. i love it overall and i love the music and singing and it together but it isn’t incredibly fascinating to me, but a 3 is too low and 4 is too high. i’m really conflicted, but nothing completely STUCK out to me which is why it’s a three.
it was super weird and different but that’s what i liked about it, and the last song i really enjoyed the sound
i think it was completely average; i really enjoyed some of the songs at the end i think it definitely got more interesting!
this was clearly not one of their best albums but there were hints of their best in there so i’ll give them that but it was like an itch with all the commercials
this album sounded like a high school band who gave up after a few songs, i liked a few but it sounds like they got a little bored while singing but i did like it
i didn’t really like it to be honest, it was quiet a lot of times and “one more dance” with the crying made me feel strange. i did like some of it and i liked the idea and rythm, but just wasn’t my vibe.
it was okay. i cant say anything bad about it but it just wasn’t interesting in any way. it was good background noise but i would never go out of my way to listen to it, but nothing made me upset but nothing stood out. completely average in a good way i guess!
i really did not like the voice it was incredibly irritating but i did like the music so the songs without so much singing i enjoyed however the voice was just plain bad. i woukd give a 5/10 and a 2.5 but i cant so i’ll round down
i thought it was average. it was incredibly repetitive which was irritating but i didn’t hate it and i enjoyed the music
i actually really liked the majority of these songs. i thought they were fun, different enough, and had good music overall
i really liked “elegia” i thought it was different and really cool. other than that i liked the album but it wasn’t anything special
i knew some of these songs which was surprising yo me and i actually did enjoy them. i thought it seemed advanced for its age slightly and amazing singing and harmonies. 7/10
i thought it was a little all the same, and the songs were unnecessarily long when they shouldn’t be, but it was a good album overall and i do really like it
i very much disliked this album. the singing was just horrible and not good to listen to. however, the music was good so if it hadn’t had that god awful singing i would probably have enjoyed it.
of course everyone knows the first song and i absolutely love it, but i’d never heard the rest of this album and i honestly do not know how to feel. every song is different, and i was never expecting such a variety. i enjoyed all the different genres but at times some of the songs became a tad boring, but i did enjoy the surprises.
of course I am going to love U2 but it is not their best work/album it was a little rusty at times and not their best work but I do love U2
horrifying. each time a new song came on I thought it couldn’t be worse than the last one but oh boy was I wrong this album was just combined of terrible screeching noises and a terrible voice honestly I had hopes that the last song could be a little bit of redemption but it was probably the worst one ever. maybe just not my type though
oh my god. why why WHY how is this influential. this is the worst album ever. the voice- awful. and the background? i cant even call it music. why is there screeching. it hurt my ears. this is not good in ANY way. the first song was just boring but it got progressively terrible each song after I did not enjoy this album for even a second I don’t understand how this is influential in anyway. sorry 😞
i really loved this album i thought it was so fun and just a good album to listen to
i just didn’t click with this album, i thought it was strange but to each their own
i’ve heard one of these songs from tik tok and i quite liked that little snippet however when i heard this album it was awful, it was all screaming and not good voices.
it was okay, i did enjoy the covers but also i didn’t think it was anything i’d never heard before. i loved the voices and i loved the sound but it didn’t really stick out to me.
it’s the Beatles so of course it’s amazing, not my absolute fave of theirs but you can never go wrong with them.
i actually really liked this album, i thought it was nice and short which is perfect. i liked the shortness of it because it wasn’t something that o had to drag out, but all the songs were really fun.
i didn’t hate it but i didn’t really like it. i thought it was kinda boring and repetitive but i liked the drumming, but it was a lot of similar stuff throughout.
jazz is really not my thing, so i have nothing to bad to say about it i just don’t have anything to say about it at all. it had a good ring to it but i was just bored. no opinion :)
i enjoyed their music more than o thought! i thought it was nice and good length
i didn’t really like the singing part of it, i thought it was scraggly but yeah just not really for me.
i actually really liked this album! i thought the singing was very fun and a good vibe overall. loved it.
not my absolute favourite of theirs, but of course iconic and absolutely loveable
I actually really liked this album I thought it was nice and spooky and different than any other album i’ve ever listened to if this was out of 10 I would probably give it seven but four is too high but I did really enjoy this album
it was overall pretty bad but I did enjoy paper planes because who doesn’t know that song and some of it had an OK bit but I really didn’t like the singing and it was very repetitive
i liked it. her voice is very soothing and comforting.
i thought it was okay. i liked more songs than others, it was fun but others were boring. i thought it was completely average!
it was a little too heavy metal for me. don’t get me wrong i do like hard core stuff but i don’t know some of it was just off eh
it was alright, some of it was really fun to like lowkey dnace to but overall kinda strange
I really liked it overall it was a really good album however a lot of the songs started to become really repetitive and unnecessarily long which is why it’s not getting the highest rating however I did love the album
it was really fun and irish! i liked the vibe and i just wanted to be in a little irish pub dancing to this song. i wouldn’t listen to it again because i have no reason to but i thought it was overall really fun !
OK at first I didn’t think it was absolutely terrible but as it went on I wanted to barf he started awkwardly making all these not yelling noises but just a voice raises and I very much did not like it
it was okay, i like his voice but it wasn’t that fun to listen to 🤷♀️🤷♀️
9/10 i really loved this album some of it got really repetitive but overall it was really good and fun and rock awesom yas 👏
i think a lot of the songs were very repetitive and annoying. it just wasn’t really my vibe and i wouldn’t listen to it again.
i liked it I love your songs and I thought it was fine but it wasn’t anything extraordinary
I didn’t really love it or hate it I thought the first one was really cool some of them got really repetitive but none of them stuck out to me in a good or a bad way
it was boring to be honest and it sounded weird just not my vibe at all and it was just awkward i didn’t absolutely hate it but i did not enjoy
I really liked the song alright- it’s widely known and it was surprising to hear that it was on this album other than that album was OK some of the songs from weird some of them were fine so they eventually just cancelled out
it was weird. some of the songs i just didn’t click with and the others were just kinda bad. no hate just not my style
i love his voice and his music, nothing really stood out to me but i did enjoy it!
i did not enjoy this album.. except the thing is shockingly i didn’t wanna rip my ears out. i mean i would never listen to it again but it’s not the worst thing i’ve EVER heard so for that i’ll give a 2… but don’t come up again ❤️
it was okay, boring, obviously i knew the bong a gong but other than it was nothing spectacular
I love this album giving it a five probably because I know all the songs but I just think they’re really fun I know it’s not that advanced but I just really love the album
obviously i loved sunshine of my love and the Ulysses song, but other than that nothing was memorable. one of the songs sounds like literally micky mouse. i didn’t hate it, i liked the beats overall and the music but other than those two songs nothing stuck
the whole time it sounded like it would be in a dramatic part of a movie, it was good background music. nothing very memorable but it was interesting !
the songs towards the end got really weird, there was one song i cant remember what it’s called but it was just baaaad. i didn’t hate the beginning, it wasn’t anything too good or too bad.
i’m not sure how to feel about this. i was okay with some of the songs and just didn’t like some. i liked the diversity of the songs but i just didn’t click with it
I don’t really know a lot of it was boring but it also seemed chaotic in a way where they tried to just put a lot of sounds and instruments together to make it sound cool but I did like it overall
it was so good! jk. it was awful. no offense, i know this guy was close to passing but another reason why it should not have been made. when i heard the first song i thought okay mhm maybe it’s just a bad one but then it never stopped. sorry 😢
it started off somewhat strong as soon as the second song came on i sighed because it wasn’t good
i liked this album, some songs we’re questionable but others are fun nothing really stuck out to me again so I’d say it was average
they honestly sounded a lot like the Beatles to me. i was excited for a ROCK opera but it really wasn’t and it didn’t tell a story. it was fine, just nothing incredible.
i love this album. obviously it’s not his best (thriller, in my opinion) but i love these songs and they’re fun and iconic.
nothing stood out and the way he sang bothered me because it seemed off beat. they were fun to beat to but eh
it started off strong the music was fun but then as it went on it kind of got painful to listen to because of the stretched out singing but then it got good again at the end
It wasn’t really memorable to be honest as soon as I listen to it I kind of forgot what it was about I didn’t hate it but I didn’t enjoy it that much
i actually likes it, i likes the rocky aspect to it and i just thought it was fun
I actually kind of actively dislike this album. it was kind of boring in the first place and one of the songs I can’t remember which one actually really hurt my ears it like screeched so I don’t really love it
I thought it was fun and I like the music I did an absolutely love the singing but I don’t like it overall it was a good beat and yeah
I actually really like this album considering it’s genre I thought it was fun I like the music and I also like the singing aspect so I was thinking about giving a four or three I would give it 3.5 but I think I’m going to get before just because I don’t think I would like any other music that sounds like this this one is just different
very large amount of harmonica. in a bad way. it was very loud and annoying. i mean don’t get me wrong, he has talent, but this album did nothing for me.
it was fun to listen to and i love the trio so much more then all four of them together. I didn’t live it as much as other people do but I did enjoy listening to it.
it was better than i’d thought, the singing was a little droopy and monotone but i did like the music overall. some of it was really spread out unnecessarily, but it was good.
i thought it was okay. the singing kinda was annoying but it just was not that interesting
obviously it isn’t my favourite but i didn’t hate it. the talking was a little awkward and there were some like screeching noises? but it’s was funny
I really liked the hard-core and it’s the first time I’ve gotten rock in a while so I was gonna like it no matter but I liked it very much.
I didn’t hate it as much as I thought I Would I mean I did an absolutely love it it was a little droopy at times but I thought that it was actually kind of good
at first it was just boring but towards the end nothing could happen and it just kind of got bad
honestly i was falling asleep while listening to this. it was just really calming but boring. i understand she is very influential but just not my style!
i actually liked it fkr a little while o thought it was just fun and interesting but after awhile it got reallyyy repetitive.
it wasn’t terrible but it also wasn’t anything new I think it was just completely mediocre I actually liked some of it which is surprising to me but it wasn’t out of this world
i’ve heard of them and I know if you songs by them so I was excited when I first saw this was the album however it was honestly really bored nothing was wrong with it but I just don’t remember any specific part and I didn’t really like it
actually i didn’t like it. there were really annoying noises and the singing was so flat. it was boring and just not interesting to listen to
i actually thought it was a very fun album to listen to. i feel like if there was one really good song i would give a 4, but it isn’t quite there. 7/10, it was groovy and i like his unique voice
it was mediocre. not my fave but i also liked some parts, just kinda boring!
i mean it is country so I don’t like it but honestly it was not the worst thing in the entire world. I didn’t despise it but i just wouldn’t listen to it again.
I enjoyed the all/most women aspect, and i thought it was a fun album to just jam out to.
I was deciding between 3 and 4, but now towards the end I am leaning more towards a 3. I could hear their talent from across the room but it just wasn’t interesting enough for me to feel it. still a great band and album.
uhhhhh. ew. gross. literally the first song made me want to rip my ears out. then i heard the rest of the album and wanted to pull a van gogh. literally i hate this so much. the only somewhat redeeming thing was the music SOME times.
umm this was painful. the song names, the noises, the “singing”. all of it. it was horrifying.
i thought it was a fun little bop! i liked a shortness of the songs and they were just fun. it wasn’t amazing but i really just liked the beat
it was okay. the voice was kind of annoying at some times but it was completely average.
i actually thought it was fun and interesting to listen to. nothing super outgoing but i would listen to again
I actually liked it it’s the story of genre that I never thought I would like however I thought it was coming and interesting
i mean… okay for a literal insane person it wasn’t that terrible… yes i would never voluntarily listen to it again however i have to give him a little credit for doing this while he’s him
i actually really enjoyed this album, especially the first song! i thought it was fun and i just really liked it
this was actually terrible. i like some of kanye’s music, but this album literally had no redeeming qualities. it was literally just sending the same boring message but in somewhat different forms? it was just bad and literally anyone could do this, not impressive in any way.
honestly i like pink floyd but i just didn’t click with this album. it got annoying at times and just nothing felt good to listen to
i think the first few songs were super fun but honestly it just got really boring. nothing was memorable!
I thought it was kinda spooky in a way and I liked it. It wasn’t the most intriguing album however I did enjoy it.
i could literally hear his toy story voice from a mile away it was so funny. i liked his album i thought it was soothing and interesting (i liked sail away- the message was chilling).
the rolling stones are considered some of the best in history but that wasn’t made evident in this album, sorry not sorry. jk sorry. but it just wasn’t anything shocking or even necessarily good? obviously it wasn’t awful and i didn’t hate it but i just didn’t vibe with it
I really enjoyed the album. the music was incredible and i felt every part of it. it had an edge to it that i loved.
I thought i didn’t like him based on his last album (déjà vu). but this was okay. it started off strong with cinnamon girl and gradually got eh, but it was fun and i didn’t hate it.
I actually thought it was kind of fun. I didn’t love it because I don’t really see how it is influential in any way but the songs just had a fun little bop
uhhhh… yeha no. sorry. this is just not my thing in any sort of way and it was wayyy too long.
his this was a really fun one i loved american girl 🥸 it was nice and short but rocky
i grew up listening to joni, and to be honest we never totally clicked. i of course know and love some of her songs but honestly it just gets kind of …boring. i feel bad saying that but it’s a little true. i still enjoyed it, but not spectacular.
ok this isn’t my music taste at all. i wasn’t offended by it but i wouldn’t understand why people would listen to this over other albums. it was not horrifying but not good.
of course i know waterfalls but i’ve never heard another song by them but i actually really enjoyed it. it was super groovy and catchy, especially switch!
i actually quite liked this album. i thought it was interesting and deep. 3.5/5? i feel like there isn’t much to say, i didn’t think i’d like it but i did.
this album wasn’t memorable at all and none of it was interesting. I didn’t despise it but it just wasn’t fun
3.5/5. This was a difficult album for me to rate because I actually enjoyed it but it wasn’t a 4. I thought it was different enough to be fun but not amazing.
this mama voice made me want to off myself. he was like wailing and oh just no. in the spider bite song especially it was nonstop. without the voice i’m sure it would be okay, but oh my god i cant. 1 or 2? I say 2 because genuinely the music was fine!
uhh .. i mean i didn’t despise it but i also just didn’t enjoy. there’s not much to say other than like it was in a different language so yeah but i thought it was kinda cool but eh
nothing was totally pleasing to me. it wasn’t bad, It just wasn’t incredible. I totally understand why people would like this but since there wasn’t much singing it just wasn’t the best!
I thought it was fun and interesting. Nothing out of the ordinary but it was cool !
i mean it’s a christmas album so how good can it be…? but it was fun and good to listen to and not snooze worthy.
I actually quite enjoyed this album. it was short but also exciting to listen and i didn’t get bored! 3.5/5.
I actually enjoyed this album i thought it was funky and fun to listen to! 3.5/5
i thought that the voice was overwhelming and obnoxious. i’m not sure if it’s because of i was listening through my phone but i just didn’t like her singing at all
nothing spectacular. some songs were good, others were bad. it just wasn’t intriguing.
i mean, it’s a cool concept, but i just didn’t really love the actual song part of it. the singing was just obnoxious
I love the purple but this wasn’t my favourite album by them it was honestly just a lot of screaming and not as much instrumentals or actual singing
I do think it was really interesting but it was also kinda boring. There wasn’t singing which is fine but made me lost interest and not pay complete attention. i did really like the overall sound though.
I literally tried to block this album from my mind it was terrible the singing was awful and the music was just so bland there were no redeeming qualities
i don’t think it is possible for queen to have lower than a 5 for me. I love this album and was unfamiliar with a lot of the songs but they were very fun to listen and learn to
hmmm. i cant really decide what to give it. some songs were fun while others were jus too much. overall it was just average, i’d listen to it again but it would never be my first choice.
i can totally see why people like her however.. her voice just really annoyed me for some reason. it just wasn’t appealing to me and the vocals, although really good, bothered me.
I didn’t hate it but i also didn’t love at all. It wasn’t bad it just wasn’t interesting. It’s music that you would put on to focus on something fast? I wouldn’t listen to it again unless I like had a purpose to. 2.5/5…
i debated on giving this a 3 or 4 but when else am I going to give something i’ve never listened to something high? I really enjoyed this album. It was new but nothing completely crazy; I just thought it was a good vibe overall.
I’m sorry I just didn’t like it. the first few songs were alright then it slowed down and lengthened and just was not appeasing to me in any way. I think she has a really good voice but just not my type of music.
It’s jazz so I have not really any interest… Veryyy long sings that I did not pay attention to…
Normally i wouldn’t like music like this however i loved it. The music is just so funky and incredibly fun to listen to. the one critique is the song length but it was kept interesting so it doesn’t even matter - i really enjoyed this album. 9/10.
it honestly was 100% average. Nothing amazing but i didn’t not like it. He has a good fun music vibe.
it dragged on a little.. his other album (from YESTERDAY) was much more exciting and good. this one was just slow and it seemed like it was trying to push it along but i didn’t love
Well the first song and i had trouble connecting because of its 20 minute length.. then the rest of the songs were not great either. Some of the music was cool sounding but it was just not pleasing to me
nothing was good or bad it was alright overall. completely average.
I actually quite enjoyed this album; I recognized a few songs but I really liked them all.
it was alright, the voice kinda really made me mad for some reason but it was fine.
this album actually was like so weird it made me uncomfortable and it was strange like he has good beats but idk man
she has a good voice! her music was a little too slow and mellow for me but it was pretty.
I think the guitar playing was very impressive and also advanced for this time. However other than that nothing really shined out to me and I thought it was alright.
This was my fave Costello album so far, and I’ve had two others. It sounded different and i Really enjoyed it. I wish his other ones were more similar to these; there’s nothing wrong but they just aren’t as interesting as this one.
this type of music has never been my style so it wasn’t my favourite. It wasn’t great and the style was just eh
i actually LOVED this album. the first two songs i didn’t completely pay attention to but then it really grew on me and i enjoyed every single song to follow. it had so many layers, the music and the singing brought everything toveyher to form #beauty! 8.5/10 !
it wasn’t boring but it also kinda was..? i feel like i’ve heard a lot of music lately that’s just completely meh and this is one of those. nothing to really comment about it
i actually didn’t like this.. i know it’s very impressive that she released such a famous album at such a young age but i just didn’t really see it. the first song kind of set the scene and i actively disliked it. the rest of the album was just eh.. i was familiar with a few but it just didn’t do it at all for me.
mmm very unmemorable. it wasn’t terrible but i just didn’t like it and it went on much longer than i wanted it to. it was just fine.
it was a little slow? and just meh. it was nice and soothing but just snooze worthy.
this just really was not my vibe at all like it was funky and groovy but just not the type of music i’d listen to ever.
it was veryyy hardcore. I didn’t hate it i thought it was loud and cool but it didn’t have like a click or something specific i liked about it.
it’s nice but just not interesting it’s just ugh and come on be not boring #forgettable sorry!!
i mean it’s the rolling stones so of course they’re influential but not their best work. the songs were just incredibly repetitive to a very obnoxious point. nothing much to say other than that.
I don’t know at first I was assigning between a two or three but honestly her voice kind of just annoyed me she has a very good voice but notes just made me mad for some reason
the first few songs were like okay yas! but then i was like uhhh… 13 minute songs that sound exactly the same… for two hours…? not okay yas! it got very boring very fast. the space talking and stuff was cool at first but then i was like omg just stop. if it was shortened by 70 percent it’d be a lot better.
the first two songs were alright but the voice got so annoying after awhile and i couldn’t deal with it anymore !
i actually very much enjoyed this album. I loved his voice. it was very soothing and continuous and gave hope? it was just really pretty.
i actually got so triggered from this album i was really hoping it would be okay but the pitchy and guitar sounds made me so angry for no reason
she has an amazing voice of course but her style of music has never really appealed to me. she has a flow of words that’s beautiful but just not my fave.
oh my god. i felt like this album was genuinely five years long. it sounds like he grabbed a bunch of sentences from his behind and scrambled them together then added a strum of a guitar. no offence :) but he is literally awful
of course i knew the most known songs… but outside of those i really had trouble listening to her voice… it was just very hard to hear and the music was meh as well
i know she is a very influential person but something about her voice just irked me. it sounded very throaty and it just bothered me. the album was also just boring and lengthy and sounded very similar.
I really enjoyed the beginning and end and it’s funky style but there was a stretch in the middle where it was really slow and exhausting. However the start and finish were fun and good
mmm i don’t know. i really debated between a 2 and 3. his voice just really threw me off it was so whiny and honestly ruined the album. the music was not too bad, but there was some repetition to it that didn’t make up for his voice.
ehhhh nothing was entirely wrong with this album but i didn’t love it. his voice got a tad obnoxious at some points but it was overall meh.
this type of music has just never been something interesting to me. i liked maybe one or two songs but other than that it just dragged on and was background noise.
eee the screeching noises triggered me massively… there were maybe two good songs and the rest made me furious
oh my god. this album made me want to rip my ears out and tape them on my worst enemy but then again i would not wish that on my worst enemy. this was honestly one of the worst albums i’ve ever had to endure.
i really hated the background track because it was just so repetitive. it had no interesting aspect to it it it was just a basic beat and was snooze worthy.
i desperately needed this album after a week of god awful albums… so i really enjoyed it. i needed a hard rock and this is perfect. it’s just a good, loud album.
a few of the songs came to be extremely repetitive and annoying but other than those specific songs it was pretty chill. could have been more interesting but it wasn’t awful.
her voice is very whiny to me… i’m sorry i tried to like it but it was like squeaky at times and it just made me mad. also this has never been my type of music so nothing really redeemed iteself
ok normally i would despise music like this but i actually found it quite entertaining and i don’t know why… it just was music i wanted to dance to? like obviously i wouldn’t go out of my way to request a song but i just thought it was fun.
the length was just absolutely horrendous. the music was tolerable at first but it got really annoying after like two hours of it.
his voice was the only thing wrong with this album, but i found it easy to avoid because it was overpowered by the music which i liked. everything else was good except is singing is just uh
ehhh i’m just not their biggest fan. their music isn’t my style and i just don’t really have anything good to say about them
i really liked this album. there were about two songs that were not up my alley but other than that i enjoyed the singing and the music overall.
nononono. thank god that like half the songs weren’t available on apple music because i could not have listened to it anymore. it was so unfortunate to listen to.. there were weird noises and it just was not good.
i cannot say one positive thing about this album. first of all congratulations you made a song about you being straight that’s so weird but okay. also it sounds like they put a bunch of words on paper and read off of it in no special way or anything. just really bad.
i understand that he is an incredibly influential jazz player and his music is very very impressive but it’s never been for me. jazz in general is just not appealing because there’s nothing i can do with it. i understand why other people like it and i will hopefully grow to like it but as of now no.
this album was completely average. i liked some of the songs but nothing totally stood out to me that really made me enjoy
i was familiar with kids and electric feel but i’d never heard any other songs and i really enjoyed them. i thought they had a new sort of sound to them that were kind of unique but not too much in a way that was reaching. my only thing is that some of the songs got to be unnecessarily lengthy and repetitive, but other than that i really enjoyed.
i didn’t enjoy this because some of the songs really bothered me in the way they were repetitive and sung. it was just annoying and some of them had good beginnings but all ended bad.
i actually liked this album quite a bit. i thought it had a melodic sense at some point but also just a very pretty sound. i would give it like a 3.47 but it’s too good to just give 3.
some of these songs i was really impressed with and others i was like okayyy that’s enough but overall i thought it was a good and calming album
i really liked the combination of sounds because it sounded jazzy and also like rockish but it wasn’t completely up my alley the rest of it but i thought it was cool for what it was
oh my god this is actually a god awful album that made me want to drive my head into a wall. NO. no no no no no. i dislike everything about it.
i thought this was a pretty album. some of the songs were a little slow and too spread out but i thought that it was soothing and a nice calming vibe.
… the majority of these songs were literally just white noise? and then the times there was actual singing it was not good… the songs were also really unnecessarily long and i got impatient with the repetition
i was familiar with many of the songs and i love the band and the music a lot i just think it’s not perfect to give a 5 but it’s close
it was jazz so i’ve never loved it i mean it was fun sounding but wasn’t up my alley but for jazz it was good and the talent is still very impressive
honestly this was a strange album because it was all over the place but i liked it? i knew a couple songs and i thought it was pretty groovy.
i didn’t like a single song on this album… sorry. actually maybe one but it was so unmemorable and amidst all the other terrible noises it does nothing to redeem itself. it sounded like they chunked a whole bunch of god awful noises together to make a song. just no.
see i absolutely love 1979 but all the others were incomparable in a bad way the scorched earth song made me want to stick needles in my ears and never be able to hear again the first two songs gave me some hope but it immediately dropped for the next two hours.
ehhh it was okay? i don’t have much to comment on it lolol it was just totally meh? she has ok voice and ok music.
i didn’t gain anything from this album, i can totally see why people would enjoy it and i think it’s very fun and i can definitely see how it would be influential however i just didn’t find it totally appealing? but it was interesting.
i understand that it is a very influential album, however it is hard to judge modern days because it just sounds meh. it is quite catchy and i’ll give it that.
it started off weak and ended weak. in between there were some songs that had potential, but overall the album was extremely boring and i just wanted to get it over with.
i really don’t like his voice at all. it was dragging along and i don’t hate this band but this album was something different. it was just not good to listen to.
honestly it was a little underwhelming. i was familiar with many of the songs but they were just a little disappointing. i like the vibe of the song but some of them just dragged on and seemed like she threw some lyrics together and decided to sing that for the next two minutes. however she has a very listenable and pretty voice and i do like some of the snippets.
i’m not really sure how i feel about this. i think i just let it play and was there to listen and let it run out. it was unmemorable and a lot of it got super repetitive (like the beat) so it just got boring and annoying.
at first it seemed really cool and new and vibes but after awhile it got a little boring because it was the same but i did think it was good
of course elvis is one of the most famous people /singers to exist but his music isn’t all that special… it was totally normal and i know that it was really good back in the day but on modern times it was nothing i’d listen to again
AHH NO. no no no no no no. no. i wanted to rip everything and scream at this. everything about it made me absolutely angry. not one good thing came from listening to this. no.
i actually enjoyed this album! i recognized a little bit of the tunes but not amazingly, but i thought it was a nice combination of music and voice mixed together. it was good!
AGHHH NOOO what is this oh my no his voice made me cry his lyrics made me sob the length made me DIE. not anything good came out of this.
they sounded a little similar to the beatles for a little but they got extremely annoying and their voices were just no.
i really enjoyed this music, the first song started off with a creepy vibe and i loved it. the music overall was really interesting my critique is that it was a little heavy at times but other than that it was really good.
i thought it was alright but the singing bothered me after awhile and i just didn’t like it but i didn’t not like it so it was just eh
i thought the music was really interesting but man his voice… it just was not helping in any way…
i don’t know elvis has never been up my alley which i realize isn’t great because he is one of the most influential singers but i don’t really know it’s just eh some of the songs were alright but
👍👍👍 good album love snoop too i didn’t like some of the parts including the monologue but i liked the old rap
i liked green day! i wasn’t expecting much since the album is literally called dookie but i was pleasantly surprised. they sound a little basic and high schooly, but it was good!
she has a very pretty voice and string lyrics overall. some of the songs were boring but overall it was good.
grrr this was an awkward album because i don’t hate it but i definitely don’t like it because it’s just outdated? like it’s just music i wouldn’t listen to not because it’s bad but because it’s old. it’s interesting but not for me.
ughhhh i understand that he’s very influential in making so many different styles of music but this one was just so unnecessary 😝😝😝 it was just boring and 17 minute songs are ugh. i think it was pretty music but for like five minutes.
i despise neil young, but i have to admit this wasn’t his WORST album. don’t get me wrong bud voice still made me angry but i’ve definitely heard worse.
she had a very beautiful voice but it got a little boring and this style of music isn’t for me because it’s super mellow, but it was pretty.
i rarely like no singing but i thought it was pretty good otherwise. it was just kinda boring. i’d give it a 5/10
metallica is very heavy metal which i am not super hard core fan of. it was very chaotic all around, some of it was okay but overall it was a lot.
it was very pretty sounding and angelic. i liked it but not too much. 😁
jazz is not in any way my favourite. i don’t hate but i don’t love. i like it but it’s just boring after awhile.
i understand it is their first album but it was definitely not spectacular, but of course the talent was there.
grr i know that bob dylan is VERY influential and for that i give kudos but man he is hard to listen to… it’s just the voice and the high pitched harmonica make me angry.
the diversity in the music is amazing and her voice is so good. some of the music didn’t appeal to me but overall i think it was good.
i actually really liked this album. there were about two songs in the middle which were not my favourite (for the life of me i cannot figure out which ones, which makes me think i didn’t not like them as much as i thought i did). i liked the length and all of it!
now that i’ve heard his back story i feel very bad admitting that this album was just so sad. it was pretty and i did understand it but it was just so sad
i love his music and his style so much. i feel like i don’t have anything specific to comment on other than i love it
i honestly don’t completely remember how they sounded and i just listened to them which maybe proves something.. i didn’t hate it but i also didn’t enjoy it
i liked this album, the length was good and the songs were fun. 7/10 honestly. at some points it got a little confusing in a way but i did like.
i liked the music i thought it was cute and fun it was just sort of basic? like nothing out of the ordinary or unexpected but it was good.
ok i like nirvana but this was just awful. at many songs his voice became completely unbearable and it just sounded so terrible. the songs just do not sound good this version. of course i was familiar with many songs by they sounded so different in a bad way
i cannot deal with his high pitched harmonica. i fully believe that that is the sole reason i find bob dylan absolutely atrocious to listen to because when the screeching instrument isn’t on he actually doesn’t sound so bad. i wish i could hear without the harmonica because i could definitely get a better listen.
i enjoyed the vibe of this album however i thought sometimes his voice was a tad whiny? i also thought the album was like 17 minutes too long. but i did think the music was enjoyable.
nope. self explanatory. doesn’t deserve my effort. god awful.
his voice was painful to listen to and added absolutely nothing, instead it made me dislike the album more. i feel like at some points there was some potential but it was ruined before i got the chance to really realize it.
2pacs music is the type of rap i do enjoy. i liked the overall album but it wasn’t special brought to make it better than average
i very much disliked the majority of this album. there was some alright parts but i’m very unsatisfied with the entirety of the album.
i really like bruce springsteen i feel like a lot of his music is fun and sing along able but this album was just so repetitive and predictable it just got boring after awhile.
honestly i was expecting to absolutely hate this album but it wasn’t as awful as i thought it was. i found myself vibing to it? obviously it wasn’t great but i didn’t despise.
who doesn’t love the who. this wasn’t their best selection of songs and sometimes the live aspect took away from the greatness of the songs but i’m really pushing it. it’s amazibg
this was a very fun and upbeat album! i really enjoyed the vibe i thought it was very fun. definitely 7/10 hmmm
his music is good and fun album but there isn’t much else to say? it’s just very bland and yes. i know it was a huge album and i can see why, it’s fun and easy to follow.
his music is not my type at all so it was really hard to keep an open mind when at the start. i understand that he is an influential song writer but i just can’t get his voice and music past a good part.
i was underwhelmed because i assumed this would be a very fun rock album but it just wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. i did still like it but it wasn’t spectacular :):
it is indeed “quiet”. i was not at all inclined to listen to the album and it started over and i did not realize until fourth song and i was like heyyyy. so it wasn’t memorable. it wasn’t awful, it was just boring.
ahhh i did not enjoy. someone get him a glass of water quicker so he will stop talking about it. it was somewhat cool, the live part, but his singing was gah i just don’t like it.
this album was about an hour and two minutes too long. everything about it made me mad- the last song sounds like there’s construction going on. the electronic sounds were in no way pleasing. definitely 1/10.
there isn’t much to say about this album… like words just don’t really come up. i feel like it was interesting for what it was but i wouldn’t voluntarily listen to it again and that’s all.
i love abba i love their music i love their vibe and their songs. 8/10. there isn’t a lot of negative stuff i can think of other than sometimes their stuff isn’t as creative as i feel it could be but that’s a reach.
i did not even need to listen to it automatic 5/5 10/10 but everything about this album is perfect the beginning the end the middle yes.
i liked it because it was something i’ve never really heard before. it wasn’t completely up my alley, not for any particular reason but just not completely my vibe but i did enjoy it.
i didn’t absolutely hate it, much to my shock. i didn’t enjoy the singing because it was a little bothersome but i did enjoy the music. 3.5/5.
this album was so just pretty. it was calming and enlightening. it was somewhat bland but it was good and simple but complex.
i actually quite enjoyed this album even though i’d never heard any song other than Layla. I thought it was quite enjoyable and interesting and I am kind of surprised that these songs aren’t as heard of.
his voice is an abomination 😟. no offense it isn’t my style but i cannot fathom how anyone would enjoy his singing. the music had potential but other than that ..
I obviously recognized a large amount of the songs, She has a beautiful voice and there is no denying it. There is not much negative things I could say, however this style of music isn’t one that I would normally listen to so it’s hard for me to get into it.
I hate to continue to throw out twos and threes but that’s what this album deserves. I liked the ending of the album but the beginning was tough to get through. The end was like lifting but the beginning was gah
I really enjoyed this album because although it got repetitive after each song I continued to find myself dancing along and eventually singing along and I just loved the vibes.
I really enjoyed this album I thought it was very groovy and fun and overall enjoyable!
i didn’t really think much of it and i think that on itself explains a lot. i just thought it didn’t give anything…
the song imagine is just unbeatable so having it start off the album set up really high expectations that proceeded to not be met throughout any part of the album. it was completely mediocre. #samebirthdaythough
I just thought this was funny. It made me laugh because of how german it sounded but in no way did I think it was influential.
yes. absolute yes. love everything about it
The singing right off the bat completely threw off my interpretation and mood toward the rest of the album because it was so bad. The music was alright but it wasn’t redeeming.
The first song obviously iconic, known to everyone, then the rest super underwhelming overall
I actually quite enjoyed this album, I thought it was very interesting and something I wouldn’t usually like.
love buffalo! this album was fun. nothing special or spectacular but!
just love the hard rock with no hesitations, it’s just so good
there’s just the thing about his voice that’s just so unbelievably unbearable to listen to. the music was honestly not bad but the whine in his singing makes it so bad.
the voice was just incredibly obnoxious and there was potential but it didn’t reach it…
i really enjoyed the music but if i had one complaint, and i do, it would be his voice - it makes the sounds all sound the same. but not necessarily on a bad way, just in a ??? way.
there’s a reason this was the top selling album of all time, every song is a hit and they’re all good. love it
i quite enjoyed the mellow sounds and overall vibe to the music which is strange because i usually don’t like these types of sounds however i thought it was calming and intriguing.
thumbs down.
there were parts that i thought were mediocre but then others that just infuriates me… the okay parts weren’t good enough to change my perspective on the album as a whole.
this album to me sounded like a mixture of ABBA and a little bit of enya. it was nice i liked it.
of course the who is incredibly iconic and influential i just love the album.
loving the vibe love the fun sounds to reminisce about we are family and the other songs were fun as well.
the backtracks behind many of the songs were getting obnoxiously repetitive so the point it outshined the actual music part. but other than that it was okay.
it started off string i really enjoyed it but towards the end it was boring and i didn’t like the sound.
i actually really liked this album, the first song everyone knows but the mellow songs to follow were incredibly beautiful.
moonage daydream and star man = love. i did enjoy the album overall
ughhhhh i did not enjoy a single second of this album, i understand that there are different music styles but this is so slow and quiet and sad and boring i’m sorry.
the entire time i was listening i felt like i was in a musical of some sort. it was uninteresting however the actual music was impressive at some times.
it was alright, funky, if i may, but nothing super special.
he has a soothing way about him, nothing particularly incredible but just interesting and calming to listen to.
the songs are so pretty and calming and amazing songwriting overall.
the album was just boring and long. it started off okay but just got so “is it over yet????”
i was surprised at the fact that i enjoyed this. at first it seems like another album id just have to get through but i’m ending it with a strong 3. 7/10.
i love his vibe and i love his songs. lost is unbeatable. a strong 7/10. i wasn’t a huge fan of the intertwined talking but i did love the album.
the intro gives chills. ozzie is crazy and i love it. this album is so weird but so good.
there were low points and high points, i really enjoyed some of the songs whereas others became hard to listen to. i would give this album a solid 7/10, but it’s not a 4/5.
this album was funky and jazzy but it was so so repetitive to the point where it was boring.
this album was insulting i could not bare to listen to it at any volume higher than the lowest possible one… just no.
right off the bat you could just hear rock and roll which is just everything i look for in an album. it was pure rock and it was good.
it was early to work with and along side but it just isn’t something i would voluntarily listen to. it isn’t bad, no complaints other than it’s just not fun?
I didn’t see anything special about this album, at some points it sounded alright and it sounded a little like genesis to me but nothing spectacular.
little richard was exciting i suppose in a way that the music was funky and cool but that’s all.
I really like this album; I knew the first song right off the bat but i actually hadn’t heard any others and i thought they were really interesting.
i didn’t hate it but this kind of music is usually a miss for me, it was just too techy if that makes sense and i did not love it. i didn’t hate it and i can understand why people might like it but just not for me.
good god. how does this man have any supporters for his voice because oh my god i would rather watch a cat puke 300 times and think that was a better sound than listen to this.
this album was interesting to say the least. it had such a variety of featured singers and just overall songs. each song was so different from the last and it was very intriguing.
the music was mediocre but wasn’t enough to make up for the voice which was dragged along and hard to listen to.
this was a stranger album? i didn’t hate it… it was weird and i honestly don’t know what to rate it. i feel like i am so unfamiliar with this type of sound and i usually have a negative point of view towards it so it doesn’t help but i was open to listening to it again.
In other albums I can see why bowie is influential and important however in this one I didn’t really get it because his voice was just reallyyyyy annoying. Not a fan of this one.
this was a strange one because sometimes i really enjoyed and others the voice was really obnoxious. it was new because there was rock within it, but the voice became whiny? however i’m going to give it the benefit of the doubt.
no. i don’t know really what to say but just no. you either like this music or you don’t and i very much do not.
i can see how this was influential because i’ve heard so many of these songs in other ones before. she has an interesting voice and i thought this was an interesting album. i didn’t love the talk parts of it but occasionally they were alright.
the back story is like so creepy and like it was just so no.
i’m going to kill myself i hate this man’s music more than anything in the world please stop
twas alright. twas boring. nothing much to say. not trying to get out of it but like literally just unmemorable
i thought at the beginning there was some potential to be something different yet interesting but as it got towards the end it just sort of turned into something i feel i’ve heard before.
ok. so. no. i think about 2.5 of their songs were alright and tolerable but the rest were bad, really bad.
omg this mans voice… I really didn’t enjoy any part oof this album, I kept wondering when it would be over!! not a fan at all.
anyone who doesn’t give this an immediate 5/5,10/10 needs help. when i saw the album i knew already so i savoured this album. perfect.
Right here is the part where I hate the fact it’s only 5 stars. Because this album is not “average” to get a 3 but I don’t quite think I’d give it a 4 which puts me in a compromising position. 7/10. The intertwined short songs were meh but the actual songs were very good.
This style of music isn’t up my alley, ever. I thought it was interesting but that’s where the compliments sort of end. I don’t have much to say about it, truthfully.
big thumbs down. i’m not one to usually critique what music is considered, but honestly this was a bunch of sounds out together. it was almost insulting. i really disliked it because i feel although anyone could do this. i understand that this was influential because nobody had done it before, but there was a reason. it should have stayed undone. 👎👎👎
honestly it was just boring, i don’t really get why or how it’s influential in any way.
it was okay. too quiet for my liking- and by that i mean it was too sheltered and relatively the same.
I respected the length and the quickness of this album- it wasn’t overdone but it was very nice and i enjoyed the rock.
oh my god no why help bye
This album had potential because I do like some nirvana songs however I couldn’t really get past the voice on this album which was 99% of it.
big thumbs down. right off the bat i said hmm maybe, but as the woman’s voice became consistently awful i gave up. i really did not like her goat voice.
absolutely no. from beginning to end it was awful. there was no good part anywhere.
everyone’s heard the ipanama song but overall it was better than i expected. i originally rolled my eyes at the thought of a sinatra album but it wasn’t half bad.
it was reallyyy weird- but i liked it. I recognized a few songs and others I’d never heard before but overall i really enjoyed the album and it’s double part as well.
I started off liking it, towards the beginning/middle I got upset because some of the songs just made noises? Which i’m not a fan of. But again towards the end, it started getting to true rock which I liked.
This album was mediocre. I think it had some special songs and then others that were annoying but nothing to make it a memorable album. I think the best part was their name 😭
This wasn’t their best work, in my opinion. Some of their songs were mediocre. It wasn’t bad, but they’ve done better.
I enjoyed the album and think it was just above average but not fully a 4/5. I feel like something was missing but i’m not entirely sure what that is, but I still enjoyed it more than I thought I would have.
Honestly I had never listened to a George Michael album before, and of course I had heard Freedom but other than that I wasn’t totally aware of any other songs and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not quite good enough t to be a 4/5, but honestly close. 7/10.
I think it was too long for my liking because there wasn’t any song that stuck with me. It was okay but it was just boring.
Honestly not the fan. I think her voice sounded immature. It literally reminded me of kids bop which I do realize is an exaggeration however I also felt like her lyrics were childish???? You can tell she has potential and her sounds are good though.
NONONONONO. no. no understanding as to why people like this. no.
When I first saw this album I was annoyed because it looked like another boring one however the songs were diverse and I did not expect the variety of them. I didn’t hate!
although i hate him more than anything which makes him a -♾️ some songs (like all falls down) i don’t despise. it only brings him up one though.
I immediately saw the cover and thought everybody hurts, everybody know that one. I don’t think I really knew any other song but I did like this album. 7/10.
It is always annoying when the album isn’t on the steaming service for lazy reasons, so whenever that happens I always subconsciously have a worse rating just from it not being “easy”. However this album was actually quite interesting because it was different; there was a variety of styles and that made it intriguing.
I thought it was interesting the way it sounded but i don’t know it just didn’t stick with me. It wasn’t necessarily boring, but not up my alley.
i have grown up hating the eagles and thought they were a no good bad band. however after listening to this album i am wondering if i have been BRAINWASHED by my father. i liked this album. significantly.
This wasn’t what I was expecting for the beach boys, there was more of a diverse vibe to it than what I thought it would be. It wasn’t totally my favourite but it was eh.
I went through the whole album without knowing what the last song would be which was a fun exciting way to end it because I’ve known that song 4ever. Other than that the album was funny and strange.
I’m kinda sick of giving out average of 3 and hearing a little less than mediocre music but that’s what this album was. Some songs were thought provoking but that’s a stretch for the rest.
gah. nah. no. i don’t like. i like his name but that’s kind of it. i feel like it was just something i had to get done with. there was potential but it wasn’t put to use. i understand why people would like it though.
after the first 15 seconds i just gave up. i don’t really know how to even describe this, just that it is not something i will ever be listening to again. it sounded as dry as the album covers lips were.
As soon as i saw nick cave again i was infinitive on giving a 1, however between a mixture of some not so bad songs and the last one (harry potter!) i’ve decided this album is not nearly as terrible as his others. maybe if i had a few more listens with me he could even get to a 3, but for now he stays a strong 2.
😶. No. I am speechless, just no. It was like comically bad?
yikes. if this is considered jazz then i am not a fan. this sound was worse than nails on a chalkboard. this is not music 🤨🤨🤨
I liked the shortness of it, but that’s kind of it. It was a weird album, kind of quick.
Honestly I really liked this album. I think she has a beautiful voice. This type of music is never really my style because it’s very calm and sad but it was soothing. She had a really good voice and executed well.
Honestly was so excited to get them because I thought it would finally be rock and roll but boy was I disappointed. This was very country in my opinion other than maybe two songs and I was so upset because I just want a rock and roll album. The first song wasn’t bad of course but that’s it.
I feel like this type of music is never truly my style but it was pretty lyrics and music.
honestly… i loved this album. usually this type of music (theatrey) is something i am SO against, but i kind of ignored the lyrics and just listened to the music and the trumpets made it sound so happy and it was just really fun.
big snooze fest, honestly. It was just boring and his voice dragged along and put me to sleep. Not the worst ever, but certainly not good.
I thought the length was unnecessary. You could tell that this group had a lot of talent but the length of the songs and the overall album kind of ruined it because it got worn out. I thought it was alright.
Honestly I was excited to hear something I was familiar with but it was kind of a disappointment. I thought his voice sounded droopy and dragged along. Obviously they have talent and they were generally good but to me it wasn’t anything special.
Before I learned that he came up with this on the spot I was a little bored, but i feel as though that information has tainted my opinion because making up any music on the spot is so challenging and impressive. this style of music has never been my favourite, but the fact he did this one try is crazy.
This was my favourite David Bowie album we’ve had so far (which is like 4), but he still isn’t my favourite. I would give this a 7/10, as a stretch. I don’t have any major complains nor compliments.
I really like this album. Honestly i’m unsure what to say about it but I just thought it was good fun and actually impressive.
Shame your rump is a good enough song to make the whole album a 4 already. It’s so good and fun. Overall I just really liked this album, it was fun and loose and good.
Tears streamed down my face when I saw we had him. I literally cant listen to this man without dying his voice not so slowly kills me.
Good lord we get it you have “potential”. Do you though? Why are there dogs barking in the background. I don’t really like the mid word “crack.” At least she’s aware of the singing but I am not a fan.
Honestly it was good background noise but nothing else. I don’t have any complaints but it didn’t wow me. It was peaceful and it was nice to listen to though!
Once again I thought this was an interesting album but it wasn’t anything special. The voice wasn’t spectacular: at times it was whiny and eh but the music was pretty good.
I really just didn’t care for this album. I wouldn’t listen to it again- it was longer than I’d like it to be and just not worth it. It was interesting at times with the various sounds but nothing up my alley.
I really didn’t like this voice. He sang with zero effort and should get zero praise for it. The music was mediocre but the voice was the main part and hard to ignore.
Honestly the mixture of the sounds was so unappealing and gross to listen to. I really tried to give each song a chance but overall I didn’t like. I think the voice was meh and music was meh and together they were no.
👎👎👎 I disliked strongly. The voice and the lyrics? The lyrics were just weird and annoying and his voice didn’t distract me from them. The music was mediocre and everything else was no.
everything about this album was horrendous but hilarious. the 16 minutes really tied it all up. i appreciate it for making me giggle but nothing else.
She definitely has talent and there isn’t any denying, but jazz is just not my music. This album did not appeal to me in any way whatsoever and it was rather boring and something I had to get through.
I’m feeling optimistic today and I’ll have that rub off on my thoughts of this. album. I was not expecting a good album, I’m not sure why- but this took me by surprise in a good way. I would definitely listen to this again and be happy.
I hate electronic music. “Music.” every song got worse- the repetition along with the horrible sound just tied in my hatred for the entire album.
omg. no. nails on a chalkboard. i hate this. i don’t even need to explain why i hate this. 👎👎👎👎👎 Not one good thing in this album.
🤷♀️I mean it was a peaceful album. I understand why their band is called Air because it sounded very airy. It wasn’t anything interesting or fun to me but it was pretty sounds?
sooo sick of these types of albums. I don’t want to take all my anger out on just this one, but if we get another one within the week i’m going to lose it.
I quite enjoyed this album. At some points I caught a hint of ELO mixed with the Beatles- no complaints there. Occasionally there was a song where I got a little irritated by the sound but overall this album was a success in my book.
I’ve gotta say this is one of the worst albums I’ve heard. A mixture of the lyrics and his grumbly and crumbly voice I can safely say I would never ever listen to any of these songs again. Is this influential for avowing what not to do if you want to be a successful artist? My apologizes if you enjoy this kind of stuff- but please keep that to yourself because it’s embarrassing. 😬😬😬 #sorry
I enjoyed this album. I recognized a couple songs which was exciting and I liked the overall everything. I don’t think it was anything spectacular, or groundbreaking but it was good.
I hate electronic music and i’m so sick of it and everything it surrounds. I can see why some might like it because occasionally some of the songs were okay but it’s so ugh and boring. It was okay sometimes though so 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
Well it’s Elton John, there’s not much else to say. Love everything about him. I obviously knew many songs but even the ones I didn’t know I was entranced by.
Honestly I’m surprised by my enjoyment of this album. I automatically assumed that it would be bad so I was dismissive but I liked it and would listen again.
big yawn. this guy sang like nothing mattered- he dragged his voice along hoping it’d sound good which it didn’t. it wasn’t the absolute worst thing i’ve heard but wouldn’t listen again- absolute snooze fest. put some effort in.
Honestly when I first saw that there were 3songs and 40 minutes I groaned, but to be honest if I hadn’t known it wouldn’t have felt like it. It wasn’t like something dragging along and within one song it was so diverse and interesting. I was impressed by the way the album completely changed my perspective and I was just listening on my phone- I can only imagine how it would sound in stereo.
It was honestly just a funny album to open up to so I didn’t really pay attention at first because I expected it to be a garbage one but it wasn’t AS terrible as I’d thought it’d be. Just voices were meh.
I really liked this album. Surprisingly I’d never heard Rio and I loved it. The whole album was a perfect length along with just good music and the lyrics/songwriting was just good.
Naturally this album is bound to be popular for me. It’s just classic and impressive.
To be completely honest I thought I liked this album more then I ended up actually. The first song, Green Light, is always one of my most played so right off the bat I was happy- also with knowing Homemade Dynamite and Supercuts I was excited. But after listening to the whole album I realized that her voice can actually be very obnoxious. Those three songs are most known because to be honest they’re the least annoying. Don’t get me wrong- I still like it and I do know she has a good voice but the cursive style is not my favourite.
Yikes… nothing from this album screamed “influential” to me in any way. I just don’t like the singing, the lyrics or my music. I’ve definitely heard worse and this album was TOLERABLE, but not good.
Some of these songs had a spunk to them a little bit of spook to them but it honestly was just a filler for me. I know this album is pretty well known but it wasn’t spectacular for me: It felt and sounded like any normal album. There’s nothing wrong with it, I just wouldn’t go out of my way to listen again.
Completely average. Nothing spoke out but nothing was awful. I just don’t understand what’s “influential” about it? It just seems like another album.
I was honestly expecting more from the album. I really enjoyed the last CCR album by them but this was disappointing to say the least, and the third song took a lot out of me. It wasn’t awful but I thought it’d be more.
I realllyyy do not like albums that repeat a million times. Or sound like this. It was too long in general, and for sounding like total crap it didn’t help one bit. Boo.
This type of music is something I would never voluntarily really listen to but this album wasn’t bad, it was honestly fun. It wasn’t something so interesting to me but it was just not something I hated and I liked his voice.
this definitely wasn’t the worst thing i’ve heard in my life but it wasn’t spectacular. i don’t love the little “side convos” if you will- it takes away from the experience and kinda ruins it. The actual rap was alright, a little aggressive to be honest, but eh.
It started off being mediocre with the hope of getting better. But it most certainty did not. The album progressively got worst so much to the point it was on volume one where I could barely listen. Not only was the music just plain and boring but also the singing was intolerable. I don’t know which came first- the album or my bad day, but I think the former based on my recollection of it.
I was intrigued by the lyrics- they were sort of goofy but fun. “Mr. Guder” was funny. Her voice to be honest wasn’t spectacular- I understand she has a beautiful one but she didn’t show it. It was a good album but mediocre.
To be honest she was just a snooze fest. I was playing it to get rid of it. It wasn’t necessarily bad and there wasn’t anything specifically bad but I just didn’t like.
Everyone knows the iconic forget you, but I don’t think I’d ever heard another song by him, other than Let’s Stay Together. I think I would be a fan if I knew the songs well, they’re fun and vibey. I wouldn’t say anything spectacular but it was fun.
I enjoyed the vibes of the album, I liked the guitar playing and the overall music but after a few songs it got a little meh just because nothing new was happening. However I did enjoy it.
I really disliked this album. One of the songs - C.R.E.A.M. made me so uncontrollably angry because of the same repetitive screech sound I couldn’t bare it. Nothing good came from this album.
Obviously I was familiar with the song Clint Eastwood, but other than that I don’t think I recognized any. It wasn’t a bad album- it had some interesting aspects to it, however it just wasn’t anything spectacular. I’d listen again but not excitingly.
I didn’t hate this album but it almost immediately just felt like white noise in the background. It had some good parts but as a whole nothing really came out of it. It wasn’t bad, just completely average.
OMG. It just started right off the bat so awful. A bunch of awful sounds combined to make an awful album. I don’t understand how this is influential unless it’s a blueprint on what not to do? But really- nothing good came from this.
Honestly there wasn’t anything necessarily bad about this album, it was just morbidly boring. I thought the voice was sleazy and almost careless. It wasn’t awful but I wouldn’t listen again.
It started off mediocre- but then got AWFUL. The songs ended up making me so infuriated it really set off the mood for the day. If this is supposed to be a quirky album it was and not in a good way. BOO. I thought it would be good but it was way too long.
I would say I knew about half of the songs, and those were the ones I enjoyed. I think overall the album was unpredictable but not necessarily in a good way. I don’t think there was good rhythm so if I didn’t know some songs I wouldn’t have liked- but since I did that caused me to sing along and enjoy.
boooo i don’t like this album! I think it’s self explanatory why it’s just a lottttt 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️You can see talent and hear it somewhat but the voice is just what brings it low. I’m choosing between 1 and 2 not because it was good but because i’ve heard much much worse… 2/10, 1/5.
Honestly the very first note I heard I thought oh hey this could be cool! The music was spunky and different and quite interesting. Buy the voice just ruined all holes of it being good. It’s upsetting because without the awful singing the music had high potential, but I couldn’t listen to one more minute with the voice.
I thought that this album was interesting and conceptual with no boring parts. It wasn’t really my type of music, I have no complaints but it’s just something that I don’t love. I understand why people would listen to this- I would listen again but wouldn’t go out of my way to.
I absolutely love this album. I think every song was great. It’s the perfect lengthed album and each song is good as well. Just really good.
This rap I could actually get with- it wasn’t obnoxious and shoving it in my face or anything and it was actually pretty good. It’s not my favourite or anything but I would listen again.
This album was longer than it should have been- his voice was a little sleazy and just something i’d have to listen to. Nothing was really WRONG with the album but it was boring!
Honestly I didn’t completely hate this album- however I wasn’t a fan of the actual rapping, which was a large majority of it. I understand why this could be labeled influential but not in my book.
This was unmemorable for me. I think it was gentle enough to be able to listen to its entirety, however too snoozy.
All the hype around this album- “it’s changed music forever”- how? All I heard was screaming from the back of his throat- something I could have done at age three. VERY unimpressed and disappointed. I’d heard amazing things about this and I really do not get it. One positive is some of the music?
I felt myself vibing along to the songs of this album more than i thought i would. It wasn’t bad at all. It’s never really been my type of music but it was good.
I think this album was very funky and fun I quite enjoyed them! It was very very nice and funky and fun and I loved.
I usually don’t love cheesy ish music but this album wasn’t bad. I think the length was perfect as well, and the songs were pretty similar but interesting and good.
Scream is right… it’s all I heard. Honestly I don’t see what any sort of appeal from this is. I didn’t get any chance to appreciate any music because any chance I could it was interrupted by some more screaming… I just don’t get it.
I think it was really like funky and intriguing yet at the same time was boring? I think it could have given something but it didn’t. I just needed more. It was jazzy and cool but too short- if I had been given more to go off of I could have grasped more- but for what I heard I liked.
I heard a Beatles resemblance… I’m not sure which part but it sounded like then a lot. The album wasn’t necessarily boring but I couldn’t listen to the voice for much longer. It had a peacefulness to it and was gentle, I just couldn’t listen forever.
I loved the opening, ending and all throughout. It is so obvious how much talent Prince has, both vocally and instrumentally. I love the 80s sound in each song. If I had one critique, which I do, occasionally some of the screamy parts were a little confusing. It is no doubt that this album is one of the most influential and talented. 4/5, 9/10.
This album helped me understand that she does have a really talented voice, but she’s just so freaking boring. After two songs I was done but it went on for almost an hour. These songs truly sounded all so similar to each other.
I knew more of these songs than I was aware. I was a fan of the diversity of the songs- they weren’t similar and were all different in some way, which made it exciting to listen. The length of each song and the overall album were perfect.
I was honestly very much vibing with this album until the second half started when I heard his voice and couldn’t push it out. I think at the beginning the music was really impressive and recognizable and I was able to push the singing away but after awhile it’s hard to ignore. I really like the first few songs and live aspect, but his voice is just so difficult to get through.
This album was just too long, and too repetitive. Every single song they took one line for about 30 seconds and those were the only words they knew and it got really old really fast. If it had been at all interesting it still would have been too long of an album- I don’t need over an hour of this. The only reason I’m not giving this album a 1 is because I understand how this album could be influential and there is (some) talent, but definitely not my thing.
I understand that the first and last songs ate incredibly well known and influential. However I shamefully admit that this album wasn’t what I thought it would be. I thought it was going to be hard classic rock but instead we got a mix of country and something else. Maybe I listened wrong or am way off, but I was disappointed!
This album- was a joke. And it killed me! No but the singing ruined it completely. The music had some potential however I was too distracted by screaming. Not much else to say. 👎👎👎
I enjoyed the lyrics and the message of the songs but it wasn’t my favourite sound ever. I think the length was good, the vibe was good, just not the most amazing.
I don’t know if I’m going to give a high grade because of the record of terrible ones, but I do know this album is just great, classic rock. Each of these songs is a hit and amazing.
Slim Shady! Shockingly I like his voice, despite the almost whiny ness of it. The lyrics were questionable and the album was a little long for my liking. He has better albums, and I think he overused Slim Shady a tad too much.
Honestly I can see why these people are a one hit wonder. The rest of the album was just boring. Tainted Love is so iconic but the rest of the songs are just blah. Nothing “offensive” or actively terrible was here but just snooze.
I think this album was quirky and funky in the i literacy aspect of it but it just wasn’t the best. Nothing bad, just not really it.
I don’t know how to rate this in all honesty, I think it was creative and interesting but just something I wouldn’t really listen to again. It was different for sure and I see why it is important.
The last album we got of her I was willing to have an open mind but in all honestly I couldn’t get through this one. I know she’s different but sometimes different isn’t good, I just didn’t understand any part of it. Some of it was definitely interesting, but just not my fave.
I don’t know how you could give this album anything but a 5. From beginning to end every single song is known. It isn’t necessarily my favourite album, but this is one of the most influential albums of all time. Every single song was a hit and still is, which is eternally impressive.
I felt that this music was very funky and fun to dance along t, listen to the lyrics and just something new. It isn’t totally up my alley for something I would enjoy listening to but it was good.
This was honestly insulting. Every thing about this album was awful. His voice was completely intolerable and just so so bad. Biiiiig thumbs down.
1) The album was too long. I got a feel for exactly what it would be within half an hour, and didn’t need a second half. 2) His voice was just painfulThe music was actually quite vibrant, but it was painful to listen to over an hour of his nasally sounding singing.
😬😬😬 I don’t know I personally didn’t love his voice all that much. I know coming from my phone it’s exaggerated, but that’s how I listen to music and it just sounded so prominent and ehh. I think the length was good along with the music and he wasn’t like bad but just not amazing.
There were absolutely zeros good parts to this album. It’s self explainable. BIG thumbs down.
I feel this album was completely mediocre. Nothing totally amazing but it was nice while listening to it. Not much to say!
We’ve had blur albums before but I didn’t really remember them so this was kind of a clean slate and I didn’t really like it. The voice was obnoxious and I think it just made the rest of the album disappointing.
this album was WACK. it wasn’t bad, it was just funny and didn’t feel real. +1 for funny, but i don’t really get it.
yikes- “rock music” has got to be THE worst song i’ve heard ever, and given some of the albums we’ve had that’s saying a lot. compared to that song the rest of the album was bad but not as bad as the previous album we’ve had. but i genuinely can’t say one good thing about this album? other than it’s not their worst? i cant decide between a 1 or 2 but i think given the fact nothing about this is good i’ll have to go with a 1. 1.5 at best. the length is good- one more minute and i might just hang myself 🙃🤓
Honestly it was just kind of boring to me. A lot of the background noise was repetitive and a little obnoxious, but overall it was just meh- nothing exciting. It wasn’t necessarily bad but just uninteresting.
Id never heard any of their songs other than the famous Lovefool, but it was quite good. I would call the album “cute” honestly- there wasn’t much uniqueness to it but I would listen again.
I love Steely Dan. I love the length of their albums, and just every vibe of them. This album could have a little more to it, but given that I love them as a band I will give them a credit they deserve.
I don’t know if I really liked this album. I don’t see how it’s influential it just seems like another album? I don’t know if i’m missing something. I see where it could be enjoyed but not really for me.
Oh no this was bad… I just don’t get how random screams are necessary? Or influential? Like noises that break my ear are constant and not fun to listen to and this was like 50 straight minutes of that.
Meh is how I feel about this one. Nothing stuck out to me- there is creativity for sure but but much success in my opinion. It was bland unlike their other albums, they’ve done better.
Love Bob Marley he is classic but this style of music I could never think of as anything more than alright. He is clearly very talented however J couldn’t get into it.
I liked the guitar in this, but not really anything else? It wasn’t bad but I feel like in order to be better I needed more of something- voice, lyrics…
I didn’t have to listen to this to know it’s a 5. Every song is crafted amazingly. Even the songs I don’t know incredibly well are still so good sounding. Iconic album.
I know and recognize that he is one of the most influential artists but that harmonica really made me angry. I have no other way to deceive it other than it was overused and a wee obnoxious. I’ve heard worse, I’ve heard better. I wouldn’t really listen to this again but I do understand his impact.
I thought this album was fun- good singing, good band, etc. No complaints, just nothing AMAZING or out of this world. But fun!
I enjoyed the rock part- I did really miss it given what we’ve had. The songs got a little repetitive but it didn’t bother me that much. It was classic.
This album was too long for my liking which got real boring real fast. It was intriguing at first however. Both the songs and overall album were lengthy which was irritating and made me kind of forget my true feelings about it.
This reminded me a lot of Joni Mitchell. However I think it was a little king and similar to itself in that I could have gone just a half hour with it. It was nice and pretty though.
Oh nooo I did not like this album. I cannot say anything positive about this. His voice was bad the music was bad bad bad. I did not like this.
I thought this album was very different than her usually. It wasn’t anything to die over I mean yes it’s Madonna but I don’t think it was anything amazing. I liked it though.
This was nostalgic because it brought me back to Toy Story so much. Surprisingly I liked this album- I thought it’d be boring or too much for me but it was a nice length and nice overall.
This was just a classic 80s sound. I liked it and it was a good length. I don’t think there was anything so incredible about it but it was good.
Genesis has had better in my opinion, this isn’t their best album. It just feels a little- not boring but “plain”. There just wasn’t anything out of this world about it. It was still good, but average.
I hate every thing about Lou Reed. End of story.
I’m not the absolute biggest fan of his voice nor am I a radical person who either absolutely hates this hand or claims they’re the most amazing to ever exist. I think that this album is very influential and important to music, and that’s what is impressive. I also am a fan of the songs I know.
This sounded very similar to Joni Mitchell in my opinion. It was calm and relaxing but after a bit it got a little boring. It was a pretty album, but nothing I’d consider to be incredibly influential.
I only recognized the one song- There she goes, and that song is classic. The rest of the album just was there kinda. Unmemorable to be honest. Not bad just like okay…
I’m familiar with a small amount of their songs so I was excited to listen to them but quickly found out that my good taste of them was limited. This guy’s voice is so forced and just ugly. The music had potential to be good but his voice was squeaky, whiny, all things I was NOT happy with. Tbh disappointed.
The first song absolutely set me OFF the noises in the background were triggering something in me which soon became a pattern. I mean some of his work is actually really nice- the rock aspect, and his actual rapping is nice, but all the distractions, the background noises, the inter parts, etc. was stuff that really made me resent the album.
I think she was very interesting. Not in a bad way or anything. She clearly has a very special voice. Some of her songs dragged on (especially the last) but overall it was pretty good.
Honestly when I realized it was kinda country I was nervous but it could have been a thousand times worse than it was. It wasn’t exaggerated or anything, it was just there. The length was good as well.
I don’t know. It was too lengthy for sure for such a similar sounding album throughout. At first I was intrigued but then it just kind of sounded similar to other artists and it got boring. It was interesting but 🤷♀️.
oooh I didn’t like this all that much. It was tooooo much and That’s all I can say. Too long too. Just not my type anyway whatsoever.
This album was reallyyy weird. I liked how short it was because if it was any longer I would have gotten real sick real fast. The sounds in between were strange, but the actual music was pretty good.
The Beach Boys have such a distinctive sound and I heard it throughout this album. I think the length of the album was perfect and each song was cute and fun and exactly what i expected.
I think that I was intrigued at first because his voice was mellow and soft but I also think that it went on too long and I got real bored real fast and sick of him in general. If the album was much shorter I would have been able to appreciate the singing and music more but it was making me angry how long it went on.
Our House is the only song I was familiar with and of course it’s a classic. Otherwise I think my opinion on the album varied based on the song. I think all in all it was a good album but some songs were strange? I would say 7/10.
Good god within the first three seconds I could tell this album was not going to be a good one. Nothing about this did I like. Big thumbs down for this- music and singing overall.
Ehh some songs were alright others were eh. I feel like this was a completely mediocre album. Nothing outstanding but nothing offensive. Pretty average.
Very pointless and boring album to be honest. The fact that each song went in one ear then out the other as soon as I listened to it shows something. Very weird. It wasn’t the worst thing I’ve ever heard just boring.
One of my all time favorites. I do have bias but every song is incredible and even her cover sounds perfect. Everything about this is 10/10.
I don’t think I gained anything from this but all in all it was just a humorous album. The aggressively German singing was amusing and not terrible.
Of course I like the message behind this album but it got repetitive really fast. Immediately some of the noises just kept going and it wasn’t great. I’m also not a huge fan of the constant talking throughout. I think that it just isn’t my type of music.
I liked this album more than I thought I might, much better than Neil Young. (although what isn’t). I think that the album was a little long, but overall it was pretty good.
Honestly this type of music has never been my favourite- very long songs, short number of them, etc. However, this particular album seemed to stand out a little in a way where I didn’t get bored and was actually somewhat into it.
Gah this was not something I liked like at all. I think because they’re some of the first to do the electronic stuff that’s impressive but I was not liking anything else.
I thought the length of the songs were good and overall the album got through speedily and efficiently. I think that for being an album that helped inspire many hardcore rock ones, it was a little bit of a letdown, but all in all it wasn’t bad in any way.
The first and last songs were just so weird but interesting. I liked it much more than I thought I would. I think if there had been something more I would give a 4, but this is a pleasant 3.
oh my god this was AWFUL. So theatrical and extra and genuinely I have no idea what I just listened to. This is one of the strangest albums and not in a good way.
I just think this was so incredibly boring and repetitive. Like I didn’t find it offensive or disgusting that it was ever made but after like two songs I was done yet it kept going for another hour. Wayyy to long for all the songs to be the same.
Suicide is right. Oh my god if this is the worst album in the world I wouldn’t be surprised. The one ☝️ okay thing is that it was only a half hour. One more second and I would have taken the artist literally. Good god.
After a terrible week of albums I was glad to see a familiar band. However I have always thought that the stones are a tad overrated. Nothing awful about them I just don’t see what is so incredibly special. Nothing was wrong with this album, rather it was nice to have just a rock one, but nothing stood out.
I love learning about other culture's music but this album's songs were all three minutes too long? I feel like this was an alright one to listen to but I wouldn't really listen again. Nothing was completely wrong with it it just is not up my alley.
Holy god make it stop my ears are bleeding this is so bad I might cry. NO NO NO. Help.
Good god this was AWFUL. WAYY too long. too boring. voice bad. music bad. NO GOOD.
Definitely not as bad as I expected (given the week I’ve had). I think it was a little longer for my liking and a tad snoozy but I think all in all it was pretty good and lifting?
I don’t know how I feel about this. I think some of the songs were a little weird but not “offensive.” No large opinion on this one.
This sucked. I had to listen in lowest possible volume so I didn’t get kicked out of the house. Right off the bat I knew this would be a rough one.
She has a really good voice and it was a good break from the hell week we’ve had. It was a nice short ish length all in all. Wasn’t the most exciting.
I don’t know- I think the music aspect was good but her voice was what I just couldn’t get into that much. Length was perfect and nothing else to complain about but her voice just wasn’t it.
This is much better than the past week of trash albums I’ve had. It was definitely a good album. Nothing really stuck out to me to make it considered influential but it was just a nice rock album in whole.
It was gentle and very pretty sounding! I think the length was good, honestly no complaints. However I felt like something was missing- this had potential to be really interesting but it just wasn’t. Her voice was good, maybe it was the music?
Honestly I would consider this above average. Not quite worthy of a 4 star, but it was just a good album with nothing really missing.
Really did not like this. I know I could give it another shot but nothing appealed to me. I disliked the singing and at most times it was too prominent to notice the music.
The first few songs I immediately hated everything. But to be honest they got slightly better and more tolerable. Not anywhere close to something I’d listen to often, but to the point where one of the songs got a little stuck on my head. They definitely progressed as the album went on.
OMG No. I hated this so much I hated her voice I hated the way her voice quivered and everything. Big no.
For being over an hour nothing seemed interesting. Not one part? It wasn’t awful or annoying it was just boring and long. We’ve had an album by Common before and I think I had the same opinion. Nothing great.
I think I tolerated this for like two to three songs and then it got too much too fast. I thought the length was good- over 45 is excessive. Not much to say about this album, It just wasn’t too influential sounding in my opinion.
This naturally wasn’t my favourite because I was unable to connect with it because it was a different language and all that but I thought that it was pretty and short.
I really enjoyed his covers and his originals I think he did a really good job and his voice and music was good. It wasn’t incredibly amazing because it isn’t my exact type of music but if it were it’d be really good.
Snooze fest! Starting with a 13 minute song was not my cup of tea. Immediately I dreaded the rest of the album and in my opinion rightfully so. Super boring, super long, that’s all I could think about.
I don’t know… much to my fathers dismay I find no problem with this band and honestly would compliment it. I don’t know if it’s because i’m feeling generous or because I have not had over a three in what feels like a year but… no complaints here!
good god one second into this and I immediately put it on volume one and had no problem not being in the same room as the music. terrible.
In all honesty I was very excited to get a Joni Hendrix album but I have to say I am disappointed. Voodoo child the second one is very very good but also what I was expecting the whole time. If all of the songs had been like this instant 5 to be honest, but I was falling asleep the first many songs.
This music was somewhat entertaining, more so as it went on, however I don’t understand how it’s considered influential. Towards the end I started to enjoy but I think it was much too long.
oh my good ness. I don’t know if it’s just me or what but I could not stand this album. It was so obnoxious and repetitive and just omg. I genuinely tried to be interested but I couldn’t! It was annoying.
Honestly I couldn’t really get behind his voice. I love the rock aspect, it’s been a long time since I have had that, but his voice is just so monotone and hard to ignore. Replace him and very good.
Honestly impressive if all of this was just Dave Grohl. I really enjoyed this album more than I thought I would- I didn’t think I liked this band but maybe after a looonng time of 1-3, i’m feeling generous, but I did enjoy.
Absolutely amazing from start to finish. the details and almost story telling sends chills throughout. it was incredible and no complaints!
In the beginning I was intrigued by the beat and music but after a little it got repetitive. If there was a little more variety in the sounds I actually would have enjoyed it but by the end I was just waiting for it to finish.
Good god save me and rip out her vocal cords and burn them.
Honestly was a snooze. He was putting me to sleep at a time I wasn’t that tired so a little disappointing and boring. He was also a little country sounding so just a no for me. I do see why people would like him though, just not for me.
I think the voice was a little flat and unfortunate, but there was potential that I liked. The length was perfect, no complaints. If the voice was different it’d be much better.
good god this man. cool idea, god awful execution into the ground. horrible terrible.
This was better than I expected and I know that if i came more familiar with it I would learn to really like it so I’m going to be optimistic and give a 4. This was not similar to the other albums I’ve heard by Radiohead, and I am pleasantly surprised! I liked the different sounds. Overall impressed.
I think the one thing is that this album was way too long. Rather than being satisfied with what I heard and willing to hear it again, I heard over an hour of very similar sounding music. I didn’t despise it but I think after awhile I just didn’t get what was great about it.
no. I did not give this album a chance because the second I saw who this was I turned on volume one and left the room. No.
Honestly this had a lot of potential for me. I really liked the first song until the voice which kind of ruined a little but not totally. I would be open to hearing more but it was on and off.
Absolutely love. Bands like Queen is what I subconsciously save my 5s for. No matter how popular or “underground” a by them is, it’s classic, and Id listen always. Love it.
Hmmm. I don’t have strong opinions on this album honestly. I think it progressively got more obnoxious. The last song just felt like screaming, the first first felt like music I guess. I like the length of the whole album. There really wasn’t must to go on with this so…
The first time I listened I think I just let it play in the background but I actually listened again which is something I never do, and that’s when I real ex I really liked it. There’s a strong rock vibe in it that’s exactly what I like. Just a good good album.
I really did not like the sound of this, his voice is so sleepy and drowsy I don’t really know what else to say. I’m very familiar with him as we’ve had many of his albums and he never really clicked for me.
Exactly what I expected from him. There weren’t any “surprises”, when I think of Bob Marley I think of this vibe exactly. That isn’t bad because of course he’s influential and talented and significant however notbing NEW. I did enjoy it though, it’s just never been my type of music.
Hmmm. This was very- theatrical. The lyrics were just wack and there’s no denying that, but I kind of liked the vibe. If there were no vocals or just better ones, I think I would actually enjoy this quite a bit, however they were unbearable. I really liked the overall sound of mysterious music though.
Oh gosh this was LONG. I understand it’s a live album but there’s only so much I can take of it. Any artist with 1+ hours has to prove themselves and as time went on he did the opposite for me. I’m giving a 2 simply because I wasn’t horrified by this, but just not my guy.
To be honest I kind of dozed off during this. I appreciate its short length but I feel like nothing was memorable to me. I do understand how it is influential however, and I will credit that.
I was debating to give either 1 or 2, but it got worse as it went on. His voice sounds very congested with a bubble in his throat that he’s had for days. I am not a fan. Of the music either- got too radical in a bad way.
Omg no. I found the new least favourite song- Wilson. STOP. I do not like the french and this reaffirmed why. JK but seriously this was awful.
It’s timeeee to kill this guy. I’ve never hated a last song in my entire life this is so terrible it’s awful there’s nothing good about this disgusting slow boring grumbly album.
Twas alright. Some of the songs were funny like Scooby Snacks but others were just mid. Honestly nothing really great came from this. It progressively got worse/more boring so I’m not too positive about this.
Much needed after the past week. No flaws. When I criticize people for saying they’re the greatest of all time, remind me to listen to this album.
Ummm this was kind of comical. A half hour of what sounds like a guy just playing a little banjo singing his little old songs. I mean the one thing that makes me happy is it was only 30 minutes, love it. This honestly wasn’t terrible but being real, my life did not change remotely after listening to this.
Okay well… Length = good. Understanding of songs = Nonexistent. It really wasn’t bad, but not my style. At all. I thought parts of it were cool but just hard to get into.
Just no. I don’t know what I was expecting but probably just something better. Kind of boring kind of weird- unexciting.
I feel like his voice was just lazy… I was kind of impressed with “Mary Jane” I don’t know it was cool but otherwise I am not totally sure. It did get progressively better, but it’s not amazing.
This, for me, was just not able to get in to. It was interesting honestly- not necessarily awful but just something I would never find myself listening to. I neither loved nor hated it but seeing as I would never listen to it again, slightly below average.
This was really not what I was expecting at all- it started off different than it ended and it was interesting. It honestly wasn’t bad- if I had more time to experience it and listen multiple times I could learn to like it however I don’t have that time so for now I’ll give it potential.
Genesis is a classic album that was long overdue. I see the influence it’s left on albums decades later. To be perfectly truthful it’s not my favourite album however it is a good one. A tad too long for me though! But no other complaints.
Holy crow this was awful. I hated every second of it and there were many seconds. absolutely not. goodbye.
Once again impressed with Steely Dan. Perfect length and that’s just a bonus. I absolutely love this band- I love their songs, I love the music, everything.
Honestly I was expecting a little more from this album because a i’ve heard a lot about it. It was just a little underwhelming in my opinion and the voice dragged a little. I cant decide between 2 and a 3 but I feel I will give the benefit of the doubt and round up- I like some of their other albums too.
I don’t really know how to rate this one. I didn’t hate it but nothing stood out which isn’t necessarily a bad thing however I can’t recall much. I think I know how big of a deal she was so I give credit for that, but I guess I don’t entirely see why.
This was soooo weird and not in a good way honestly. The voice sounded like Meryl Streep down two octaves and doing push ups. Just a weird album altogether.
At first I thought this could have potential- it started off that way, but as the album progressed my opinion on it dropped drastically. I have never heard so much autotune in my LIFE and god it was bad.
Oh now this was just weird. Just constant screaming and weirdness in all aspects. Not a fan.
While I very much enjoyed the last song - Return to Oz- which I did- I think it was amazingly portrayed from beginning to end and I could rave about it- it wasn’t enough for the overall album to impress me. I think it was an interesting album that if I got to know it better I could like it more, but just getting to listen once was alright. I feel like it would be a 5/10- but not 3/5.
This was a much needed classic rock. I don’t know if it’s because of the low Im coming off of or that I truly loved it or a mixture of both, but this was good. Classic, and yes long which I don’t like, but doesn’t matter.
Um so this was awful. Like, in all aspects. It is awful. no thank you.
This was just weird as heck. I don’t know why we are getting a million weird albums in a row. It’s WEIRD.
This was just boring. And honestly, doing work to it was really agitating. The loud pitches made me annoyed and frustrated. It wasn’t as peaceful as I thought it might be which would be the only positive. It wasn’t terrible though nor offensive- no lyrics so how could it be, so i’ll give it that.
I was disappointed by this album because I remember enjoying their last one but this was too long and not super great overall.
This was just weirdddd. I feel like these songs could be used in a black and white movie from like 70 years ago when something devastating happened and the main character is at a crossroads. But let’s leave it there. I don’t need to listen to this again.
After a whole lot of sh*t albums, this was just alright. Was really hoping for something amazing, but this was needed after some dog poo. He just isn’t totally my style but I can see the talent.
I am “bummed” with this album. It just really wasn’t anything special or interesting. It was a little annoying at times but just boring. Bring on better ones!!!
This just kind of made me laugh. It wasn’t the worst thing i’ve heard but it was from like 80000 years ago. Not to be offensive heheh but yeah and short which I like but just made me laugh.
I actually kind of liked this album. I don’t know why I’m surprised? I think it’s just been a hot minute since I’ve heard something even slightly good. If I had been able to listen to this a couple more times I could even give it a 4, but I think even a 3 is good. 6.5/10 I think.
Veryyyy much needed and very much good. Big fan of music like this, old, classic. Short and sweet, too. Just a good album that was long overdue. I could definitely learn to absolutely love this band because their music is right up my alley.
noNono. Gross, boring, whiny, long, everything I dislike in an album! No.
Honestly this album was quite enjoyable. I thought it might be annoying at first but as it went on I actually quite liked it. I think if it had sounded like it did towards the end rather than from the beginning throughout the whole thing, I definitely would’ve given it a higher rating of overall I think this is a seven out of 10 but not quite good enough to be a four out of five.
She sounded so similar to someone but I just couldn’t pin point it… It was alright- just boring honestly. I was done after a couple songs.
Well this was definitely noise! And loud! Not totally sure if i’d consider it influential? Maybe a template of what to stray away from? Not quite sure!
Honestly was dreading this but it wasn’t too bad! I can see why he’s influential and I didn’t hate this. His voice can get a little much after awhile, but I was okay.
Honestly thought this would be an album that would make me laugh but I wouldn’t actually hate it but towards the end it got extraordinarily repetitive and I honestly got a little bit annoyed by it and actively dislike that I did recognize one of the earlier songs in the beginning I’m assuming it was a sample used by another song because I didn’t know the rest of it. Other than that one song, it really didn’t bring anything to the table and I wasn’t a fan.
This was just kind of a funny album. Honestly, some of the songs sounded like when in a movie, a character singing and it’s clearly bad. This album was just weird to me because to be brutally honest I didn’t really hear any talent L O L.
I feel like those born in him however, I feel like this album wasn’t 100% clicking with me. if I had more time to fully absorb this album, or even maybe a larger collection, I could have actually really liked him but for now I’m above averagely satisfied!
I am a very very big fan of this album. I was only aware of the song What’s your favourite colour however, very impressed with the whole album. I really really liked it. I liked every part of it. Honestly no complaints!
I hateeeee long albums. But I can make exceptions like this. Amazing front to back. Stevie never fails!!!
Yes. Uh huh yep yeay! Good great amazing love it all. No complains not even the 20 minute song which usually makes me angry but it was so split I liked it and loved it. Thank you for this album.
Despite my hatred for country, Dolly is the one person I can tolerate. Her voice is genuinely enjoyable. I would almost consider giving a 4, but I think in comparison to everything it can’t be that high.
At first this album didn’t really bother me, and I was listening just to kind of get it done with however, towards the end, I started actively not liking it due to the singing, but I wouldn’t really consider that singing aspect, and I would say it just got progressively worse and alongside that it was on the longer side in my opinion for something that wasn’t great to begin with.
I didn’t know I would love this album as much as I did. I thought it would be too heavy for me but I actually really liked it! I’m going to be positive and optimistic because we’ve been getting good albums lately.
Honestly I feel like I kind of expected to enjoy this more. I didn’t vibe with this album as much as I’d expected to, so I’m honestly just disappointed. However I feel like I can’t give a low rating because it is a good album just something I didn’t click with much.
Ok because I actually hated this album so much I wanted to skip every single song because it made me so angry. Like actually it was awful every aspect of it from the weird robotic sounds that fit nowhere but were everywhere to the singing which was just trash this time. NOT a fan.
Okay sooo I did hate everything about this album and anybody compared would sound like an angel. Very hard to take him seriously right off the bat just because of the voice and then just oh god why is this on the list I cant I cant.
It’s like we got a week of good albums and now I’m being punished for something. I don’t even know what to say about this album except that it was awful. Poughkeepsie especially. Just nothing good about this album except that it was relatively short so I didn’t have to suffer THAT long.
I was very impressed by this album I am almost considering giving it a 5 but I think i’d hav to become very familiar i with it but I think this album sounded beautiful and had a clear impact but also a great sound.
Ehh it definitely got worse as it went on. It kind of went by slowly which is odd considering it was ~half hour. I think it just wanted amazing especially towards the end.
So i’m not sure how I feel about this album honestly. I think it’s exactly what I was expecting, nothing more or less, just there. Neither over nor underwhelmed, just yeah.
So towards the end I really started disliking this. I’m not sure what about it maybe the really bad singing or just the music. I’m not disgusted by this album I think just rather bored?
so I feel like this album was just very average I don’t really think it was influential in anyway honestly and I don’t mean to sound harsh I just think I’m disappointed with a couple of the albums that are on this list because I don’t comprehend how this album is that influential because I didn’t hear any unique instruments or sounds unless I’m missing something.
Very big fan of this album! I’ve never really considered myself a big Bowie fan but this album was really rock vibes and hard core and I just really was impressed. I wouldn’t even have complained if it was longer!
Honestly unmemorable. Interesting I think? I liked the length though I just don’t really have much to say 😁 Pretty average but not terrible!
Honestly really better than I thought but once again, not really, my ally of what type of music would normally listen to. no complaints, however, and good enough length.
So I was bored until the very last song and I got really creeped out. I don’t know if that’s like insensitive or something but this was creepy as hell and just not something I liked.
I recognized many of the songs which is always so awesome, but even if I hadn’t I still would’ve given a high rating. You’re able to tell that this album had (successful) influence. Really liked it.
Honestly the voice really irked me to a point where it tainted my whole view of the album and was hard to listen to. It wasn’t terrible and other than the voice it was alright, but that was a big part.
so I feel like this was just kind of mad I mean I don’t really know what I was expecting but it neither soared nor drooped my expectations.
absolutely not no words describe how terrible this was.
honestly, I don’t know what I was expecting but this one is honestly kind of cool and I did enjoy it more than I thought I would. It was we different and diverse from itself too and I didn’t get bored of it.
Honestly I cant truly remember how I feel about this even though it was just yesterday… I think it was just happening while I was doing other things. I’m not mad about it or anything but just not interested.
Despite it being a completely different language i didn’t hate it. I mean don’t get me wrong not being able to understand it was definitely a set back but I think it was honestly really cool and a nice music sound overall.
Of course recognized my girls! Loved it 😊. This was a good album. Feeling positive so i’ll give a 4! Nothing bad to say about it.
Honestly I really liked this… I feel like there was something slightly missing, and if that had been there, it would have brought it above average, however, pleasantly surprised by this album.
I did enjoy the beginning. I liked the music - did I hear trumpets? But towards the end it got a little ehhh. Not really sure. If it had continued my rating would have decreased but for now i’ll say average.
This was alright. I think I liked it in the beginning but then it just got meh in the end. Just not anything exciting or influential in my opinion!
So I listened to this album as background noise and I think it was alright. I think I was vibing along. I do need to start analyzing these albums more so I will do that.
So I don’t see any good parts to this. Weird from start to finish, and bad too. I don’t know, some people say this has genius to it but I just see freak. It honestly was funny, talking about tin things and others. Was numerous but not something I would consider influential at all.
Honestly I don’t really get her hype, especially after listening to this album. I think this didn’t show any skill in her voice because of the overpowering autotune. I was really not impressed with this album at all. However compared to a lot of albums it was not terrible, so I wont give a 1.
I cant say I’ve heard something more 80s than this. I did honestly really enjoy it and thought it was just so typical 80s and it was nice. 7/10 honestly.
Big fan of his first song, Let’s Stay Together. Classic! The rest of his album wasn’t as good of a vibe as the first one in my opinion, but was pretty nice to listen to. I liked the relaxation of it and the music and his voice sounded really nice together.
Honestly I went into this with an open mind, hoping it would be something new and interesting but I think I am just disappointed. I’m not the best at identifying autotune so I could be wrong but at some points his voice just sounded so fake and weird. Autotune or not it wasn’t up my alley. I did like the calming aspect of it but overall just kind of a let down.
it was nice to get a classic band although they’re not my favourite I do like their sound. I liked how short it was, but I feel like it was just kind of boring in my opinion.
Although I just listened yesterday I find myself forgetting everything about this album… is that significant or just bad how small of a memory I have? Not sure but.. I think this was used as background music while I was doing other things but I did like it generally. I hate giving out so many 3s but it’s exactly average.
Honestly I tried to have an open mind about this album but there’s not much going on in it to keep it interesting. I got an introduction to something I didn’t care much about then had to listen to it for an hour. I can see why it is considered influential but just not something I like at all.
I really thought I would like this album because I’ve heard some of their other songs, and was looking forward to a whole album of them but genuinely this was awful. A real turning point for me was the song Trani, and at that point, I realized I hate this band. I don’t know if this was a really big selling album but all I know is that it’s terrible.
I really don’t have anything negative to say about this album, it just was complete background noise. I was doing busy work while listening and I didn’t even realize I had finished the album which was 3 hours. I mean it wasn’t bad, there’s just literally nothing to say about it.
I knew a good deal of songs and was excited to listen to the rest of them. I was impressed with their passion for what they were saying and thought it was very interesting however it wasn’t my exact favourite. This sounds incentive and ignorant but I feel like I would have loved more music than talking? I do like the message the conveyed just wish there’d been more music.
So honestly I really liked the actual music, I thought it was something new and very complex and different however the lyrics really diminished my impression of it and that really made it go downhill.
Soo honestly for music in a different language it wasn’t all that bad however, I do have to take away a good amount because I couldn’t really form a connection with this music. I’m not saying it necessarily has to be in English because I do like the variety and the diverse language, however, I’m not sure the importance of this album it just seemed very similar and itself and to other music that I’ve heard.
Honestly I really did like their music. I mean this isn’t really up my alley all the time and I feel like I could have been more engaged in the whole thing however I just thought it was really easy to get through.
considering we had him just about two weeks ago and it was one of if not the worst album I’ve heard I could say that this was 1000% improvement given saying that it wasn’t my favourite album. Obviously some of the music was a cool vibe and the lyrics did make me laugh sometimes, all in all better than I expected.
i’m really trying to not give threes anymore and I feel like I either have to be harsher or more lenient and honestly for this one I think I’m gonna have to be harsher. I don’t think it gave me anything I was looking for it wasn’t anything new and that’s why I’m gonna give it a two I just feel like sure they were cool aspects to it but all in all it wasn’t a memorable experience and for just listening to it yesterday I don’t quite remember how it sounded and usually I can recall a little.
I honestly tried to like this album despite my dad’s strong hatred for the band. Started off strong with the first one just because I know of it and its impact on the world (and Riveras song) but honestly his voice is just so painful so try to deal with. I miss rock and this is definitely it so I’ll give it that, but definitely not a great one.
given that I have my Spanish final exam in less than three hours this was very helpful. It was my only studying tactic, so thank you very much Siembra I do like Spanish music. I’ve never have anything against it and I really think it’s a nice thing. However, it’s not my favourite just because I can’t really relate to the actual singing about it because I’m not fluent however, I did enjoy this album.
i’ve been asking for some rock, and I finally got it. I really like Def Leppard. I know that my dad thinks otherwise but I believe they’re just a classic rock group with good music.
to be honest, I hated this album. I have no idea why it really didn’t do anything to me, but every single time the girl saying I was so angry. It sounded like every single pop song lyrics about wanting the person not being able to get them blah blah blah I’m just sick of these types of lyrics and I really just didn’t like the way that she sang.
So this was not my favourite album but I can see why people might enjoy this music. Not for me at all but not the worst thing ever.
The only song I was familiar with was Le Freak and other than that nothing and don’t feel the need to get to know them more. Totally mid album in my opinion.
I’m sorry I just didn’t really hit it off with this album. To be honest, I think it was just not my style. I mean I do understand the meaning in the words in the symbolism behind it, however in the sense of it being music that I would listen to I wouldn’t.
Sorry dad… I really like this album. Classics everywhere and just classic plain old rock. I’m a fan of Bon Jovi.
Sooo I actually hated this album. Right from the beginning the vocals were just awful and not impressive at all. A bunch of screaming does nothing for me. No respect for this album, I don’t see what was aimed for.
honestly, not as bad as I thought it would be. It’s definitely not my favourite type of music and I don’t really see how influential it was. However, I did find myself nodding along to some of the beats. Overall, I just think that it was a little too long, and I got distracted along the way, and it lost my attention. If it was shorter, I could consider giving a higher rating however, all in all, not bad.
To be perfectly honest the voice sounded slurry? I don’t know if that is just me but I wasn’t a fan of the vocals and the music just kind of went along. It’s not terrible just not something i’d go out of my way to listen to.
Honestly didn’t hate this. Low bar but could listen to it again. Very average but was engaging!
I hated every second of this. The vocals were dragged on, mopey, horrible and just painful to hear. I hated all of it and the fact their influential is horrifying.
I’m sorry, but I really felt no connection with this music. We’ve had something close to Shankar. I think they were related before and same opinion on that. It’s just really something that did not grab my attention. It wasn’t the worst thing I’ve ever heard I just would never voluntarily listen to it.
I really didn’t like this album. For some reason it bothered me- I think it was too scratchy for me and not classic enough which I know sounds like I have a closed mind but it just really irked me.
I have to say, I’m disappointed. When I saw we had deep purple, I was excited to get hard rock album that I could really get into. However, I can’t tell if it’s because it was live or if it’s because I was listening to it through my phone, but it just didn’t live up to my expectations. It obviously wasn’t bad and when I heard the smoke on the water riff, I was ecstatic however, I’m not sure, but something felt like it was missing.
I am so sick of sonic youth. When I saw that we had this album, I took a deep breath and mentally prepared myself for the hell. I was going to hear the first song I thought wait maybe this isn’t the worst thing, but as the album proceeded, I remembered how correct my thoughts were.
I’ve heard of them of course and I was expecting to like it more than I did. The voice seemed whiny honestly, and just snoozy. Didn’t appeal to anything. Disappointed.
I’m shocked that I didn’t hate this. It seems right up my alley as something I would hate on, but pretty quickly I discovered that it was actually calming. This is one of those albums where I wish there was a better scale (1-10), because a four is too high in comparison to the other albums but a 3 seems poorly reflected. I can say I actually enjoyed this- It was a calming album, and his voice was almost reassuring in a way. A very high and satisfied 3 from me.
I think I was just bored by this album. It didn’t give anything interesting to say. Some of it was nice to have as background noise.
This sounded like something that would be in a sad commercial about Alzheimer’s and then listed all of the side effects. I think it had potential but didn’t work well. It felt snoozy and weepy and just unfortunate.
I’ve been in need of a good solid rock album. To be perfectly honest, I expected to be giving out a 5 for Mr. Bruce. Don’t get me wrong, classic after classic but I expected a tad more. However, after my continuous 2 star ratings and not giving above a 3 in too long I’m going to go high because this music style is exactly what I look for.
I very much needed this. Elton John is someone I would never skip or not be in the mood for. Encapsulates every mood with just good classic songs. Absolute masterpiece.
In glad that this only went on for 10 songs. I disliked this album from the start. There was such a whiny voice the entire time that was so displeasing to listen to. His voice sounded like he was on the verge of sneezing the entire time and then the music was the snotty gross aftermath nobody wants to clean up.
honestly, this started off a lot worse than it ended. I at first was annoyed by the album because I immediately thought I’d be bored or annoyed which at the first few songs I was, and it wasn’t until Crown of Love where it picked up and I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately it was half and half for me so they average out, but if the whole album was more like the second half it would be very good.
I’ve grown up hating the eagles simply because of my dad and not really knowing why. I honestly liked this album and i’ve been needing music like this after hearing hundreds of not so good ones on this. Impressed and optimistic.
So I actually hated every second of this. It was so terrible and every single song continued to get worse. I cannot say one good thing about it because it was also a million hours long. This was horrible. It’s not music.
This was actually such a nice album to have on in the background of working. I’m familiar with beach house and their song silver soul along with some sounds from other ones and i am impressed. This kind of music has to be really good to get my attention and i thought it did a really nice job of not being boring. i really enjoyed the calmness of it but each song felt like a different emotion. i’m going to give a 4 because i never think highly of music like this and im very content.
i liked the voice at first but after a lot of the croaks i got annoyed. impressive at first but then it got boring real fast. the music was definitely a very cool sound- especially in the song what’s the hurry- gave doctor who vibes. i’m pretty torn on this because i’ve been trying to lessen the 3s i give out but honestly it evened out to be pretty average.
Disclaimer- I know this man is a horrible human being. I am separating art from artist I suppose. Unfortunately I do not hate Kanye’s music. This album is incredibly influential and just good. I’m taking a point away because the lyrics sometimes were just so vile and unnecessary that I hated listening but genuinely the good songs are so good that it’s not detrimental. Horrible person with some gooood music.
Holy jesus this is horrible. Why are we vacuuming in the middle of our song? Why are we doing construction? This isn’t a day in the life it’s supposed to be music. I’ve never heard something worse in my life.
Okay so, this was one of if not the worst things i’ve heard in my life. “Don’t”. don’t even get me started. that took years off my life. I believe an accurate comparison to this is nails on a chalkboard but nails that are so disgustingly long that they keep chopping off. God this was horrible.
honestly, I’m kind of sick of PJ Harvey however, this album I had a little bit of a change of heart because I’m pretty sure I usually only give ones. I did like the sound of some of the background music but I really just can’t get behind the voice it sounds like they couldn’t find anyone better. I know that’s harsh but it’s just not good voice to me however, I did like some of the music.
So tell me why i was so disappointment. After the first song i expected so much because in like those first three minutes there was crazy rock after false calmness and I was super hyped to see what there was and like- not much. It just felt like something was missing, I’m not saying necessarily words or vocals but it did sound like the background for something else. Somewhat upset because I thought it would be a crazy rock album.
I actually liked this a lot more than I thought I would. If U had time to listen to it a lot more I would even consider giving a 4. It was funky and had some interesting events that seemed experimental but they payed off. Really interesting!
Yeah honestly I had to listen again because it was very unmemorable. And the second time around it was really mid. I think I either expected much more or much less and in the end it was just music that was going on in the background.
this has got to be one of the weirdest albums. I’ve listened to. It wasn’t horrible in the sense that I thought it would be sure it was a lot of horrible noises but it could’ve been worse and I acknowledge that it was a joke however, I’m good with just once.
So to put it nicely I wanted to sleep and never wake up listening to this. I put it on a high volume and could still barely hear anything. So. And his voice was so sleepy. Im sorry but this was awful.
So I half worked to this music and the other half listened. The for at half went by really fast, and then I got real bored listening to it. I don’t know I just didn’t get anything from it. I kept waiting for it to be over and not really knowing when one song finished and the next started. Just not something I clicked with.
We recently had Lang and I very much disliked. I think her voice is too boring and tiring for me and just brings nothing. I’ve heard worse but i’ve heard much better too. I’m good with a song or two by her then don’t need more.
I really liked it. Hardcore classic rock. I recognized a couple songs and what I didn’t I still jammed to. Very good album.
I think a big problem for me when a lot of these albums is that they just don’t leave an impact. And they’re supposed to be influential so that’s why i have a hard time with them. I just don’t see what this brought to music?
I disliked this a lot. At one point I went to the bathroom during it and came back hearing a scream like sound and it was the music. It just felt like construction noise put into some ‘music’. Not impressed.
Gosh I feel like the past three albums have been similar? I just feel like I’m stuck in a loop of albums that sound unfinished and just bad. This album in particular was just so distasteful. It honestly brought nothing to me and I wouldn’t listen again.
This album felt like a breath of relief after the albums we’ve had. I really liked the sounding of this. I usually don’t like this type of vibe but given the amount of time it was (short) and that it was actually pretty good, I conclude I really liked it.
Somethings up with me because I really did like this. I thought it was really nicely put together and just good music overall. I think if it were a little shorter so less for me to commit to I’d consider voting even higher but I definitely liked this a lot more than I thought I would’ve.
I hate this. Why is he gargling. Why is it 16 hours long. Why is he talking about my least favourite singer Neil Young (made it even worse- didn’t think that was possible). This was horrible from start to finish. Bad bad bad. This is awful.
I don’t know it was kind of underwhelming. It wasn’t bad or anything but I think since they’re kind of a big name band I’d expected a lot more than what I heard. It wasn’t amazing or horrible just something to listen to.
Big big fan of tears for fears. I was familiar with their but hits but the rest of the songs really tied the album together in a very good way. Really good album. Not something so predictable, and that’s what I liked about it. There was variety and it made it good and interesting.
Was very surprised and happy to hear the first song! I’ve never heard any of their songs and honestly don’t know if I missed out at all. Really was a great stoop down after the first song. Wasn’t horrible, but not what I thought it’d be.
Much to my delight, I really enjoyed this album. Cat Steven’s voice is something I’m shocked I didn’t get annoyed by however I think it perfectly executed his songs and made me feel comfortable. I have no complaints for this album. Although it’s hard to give 5s for me, and I don’t usually give them out to albums I listen to once, I’m pleasantly surprised.
Eesh really didn’t like this one. I can’t totally pin point which parts I didn’t enjoy I just think as a whole there wasn’t any part that made me think hey this has potential. It didn’t hurt my ears listening to it but just not my thing.
Well I never thought I’d like this but it was something very easy to work with but didn’t put me to sleep. Surprised that I didnt despise it or even dislike and found myself enjoying it. Definitely a strong 7/10 but not incredible enough to be 4 stars. Would listen again.
U2 is one of the most influential and iconic bands of all time, so when I saw we had this album I was excited. In my opinion, there are better albums but it’s likely because I didn’t know many of these songs. Still a great album, many hits.
Ayayay noo thank you sir. Very unfortunate to listen to this. 2/10 I think and I can’t decide between a 1/2 out of 5. This really felt like nails on a chalkboard at some points. It was just something I forced myself to get through it was very difficult to finish. I think i’ve definitely heard worse, but wouldn’t listen again.
This hasn’t always been my type of music but i’ve definitely become more open minded. I did like this album especially doing work alongside it. Would listen again and I enjoyed. It lacked some interesting aspects though, but all in all better than I expected.
What a perfect album from start to finish! Queens execution is incredible and even their lesser known songs are just 10s. Loved it all.
Eh I really just didn’t enjoy this album. At a lot of times the voice really bothered me- I can’t pinpoint exactly what it is but something swayed me away from liking it. I’ve heard worse but I don’t think I would listen again.
I feel like I expected a lot more from this album than what I really got. I didn’t enjoy it as much as I expected to. I think it was completely average honestly, but could’ve been more.
Oof. I really tried to like this album because I love Tom Morello as a person and my dad of all people likes this but. I know they convey a powerful message but oh boy I could not focus on that at ALL. Just screaming stop screaming. I really tried to keep an open mind which makes me confidently say i hate this album. Not able to say one good thing about it. Especially the last song just tied off the ends for me and helped me come to this conclusion.
This was a very average album in my opinion. Not high highs but not low lows. I think better than I expected after looking at the album cover but not surprised by how it turned out.
Oh so… this is influential on what not to sound like I hope? Thank goodness it was less than half an hour because oh boy. It’s almost funny how bad it was but one more minute and it wouldn’t have been humorous anymore. Such a strange album.
This was definitely a switch from what we had yesterday so it was very calming. It’s not the type of music I would normally enjoy but it was peaceful to listen to. I don’t think I would listen again to be perfectly honest.
Such a good shock how much I loved this. Never would have thought that- I only knew Sledgehammer (which is honestly a 10/10 song, nothing missing) and in your eyes, but wow this is a good album. Every song was different from the previous but it had such a nice flow. There was such a diversity but it all fell under the same genre and it was good. I’ve never listened to this album in full but it’s definitely a great one. I usually reserve 5 stars for albums Im familiar with, but this one left me really wanting more. So Peter you have surprised me.
Good god for something called Timeless it sure took up a lot of my time. This isn’t music, it’s background noise, and listening to two hours of it was not doing any justice. Genuinely such a long drawn out boring album.
Yes. Nothing much to say other than one of the most influential albums of all time and a real good one.
Yucky I didn’t like this. I understand that it was number 1 in UK but please never come near me. Just exactly the type of music I do not like. Sorrrrryhh.
I feel like this album started with potential and then just flatlined into something mid. The first song was super fun and vibes then the rest just got mid and boring. Listened just to finish it.
Definitely a classic album. Couldn’t compare to Toys in the Attic but don’t have many or any complaints about this album here. A good one, not something I would really choose to listen to but I wouldn’t say no to hearing it.
It’s obvious she has an incredible voice and at such an age it’s shocking. I’m not familiar with any of songs so it was nice not having a sort of bias while listening to her, but there’s no denying she has much talent. It’s not my favourite and a lot of the vocals is the only focus but I would listen again.
So.. funny enough I’ve been taught to hate Morrissey but I have to admit that I didn’t. Sure he’s mopey but it’s not as awful as I thought he would be. I think it’s a very strong 3 but a lot better than I thought.
I do feel bad for the nature of the album however I still couldn’t figure out the greatness of it. I’ve definitely heard worse from him: this was the best album I’ve heard from him so I’ll give him that. Some songs I could listen to again but just not incredible.
This was a little longer than I had hoped for but I don’t really have any complaints about it. It was just orally average and I didn’t dislike I would listen again but nothing really stuck out to me. Just something I had going on.
Honestly, it got better as I listened on. I enjoyed the last couple songs but towards the beginning I was falling asleep but not in a good way. It was rather boring but I do have to say it definitely picked up. It evens out, so not disappointed.
I’m actually really surprised that I didn’t come close to hating this album. I really enjoyed it actually and would 100% listen again. unfortunately I do think a 4 would be too high but I would easily give a 7 or maybe even 8 out of 10 but due to only out of 5… But despite this being something I normally wouldn’t like I enjoyed it and it went by fast.
This just dragged on and it was very unexciting. It wasn’t horrible and I guess it was a little peaceful but it just wasn’t something I would consider to be influential.
This is actually horrible and horrendous I hate this it sounds like metal being scraped against the floor slowly and then added some screaming voices it’s crazy I am sorry I have nothing good to say about this …
I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. It had a very peaceful sound that I could listen to for awhile and just cutest music. At some points the voice was a little kermit-y, but not enough to take away from the album. I really liked the vibe of this and would listen to them again.
I really tried to enjoy this album and have an open mind but I just couldn’t. I can’t get past the rigid vibe and it just seemed like hard and glassy and very difficult to swallow. It wasn’t necessarily horrible, but just wouldn’t listen again.
This definitely was rock and I enjoyed it. Good length, nice rocking out, very hard to take seriously. I would definitely listen again, I don’t think it necessarily set itself apart from any specific rock I’ve heard other than it’s very strange song titles but overall it was good.
Aye this was awful. Voice just dragged along and I was dying having to get through the whole thing. Two thumbs down.
I took a walk while listening to this album because I thought it’d be relaxing and it very much was. I knew the two very famous songs and the rest I quickly found I enjoyed. Never did I think I would rate this time of album so high but very pleased!
Just a good, classic album that I have no complaints over. I think it was a very good example of who CCR is and perfectly executed what they were going for.
A very quick album. I feel like it was too short to be able to successfully critical of her. I liked it and recognized some songs, but even after listening again I just felt it was difficult to judge completely.
I really liked the variety of this album. At some points there was spook and others it was very happy which made me wondering what mood would come next. I really liked the last song and its eerie mood. Very good album and I could see a lot of simulators to the Beach Boys of course and I liked it.
This was bloody awful. Take a song from their album and that’s what it is - Human Garbage. Just awful it’s funny. But not really, couldn’t listen again.
I don’t think I’ve ever really listened to an Aguilera song other than beautiful before. In all honestly I don’t think it was super necessary to have heard not influential but i don’t have anything negative to say about it. I thought it was just a fun album and seemed to go by fast. No complaints.
This was honestly more difficult to get through than I thought it would be. It started off strong because it felt like a rock album, but towards the end, I got kind of bored and it just felt like very ongoing. I can still understand why it’s good and, it’s not horrible however, not as good as I thought it would be. Too long.
This went by pretty smoothly and I listened to it while I was walking and it was nice and peaceful. I feel like there isn’t that much to say about it and that is good and bad but all in all pretty much average.
We’ve had this group before and I never know how to feel about them. I’m definitely not disappointed to get another album because it was nice to listen to but I think they just don’t bring much. I don’t see the influential aspect of this, and I can’t tell if I’m not paying enough attention or what but I just feel like they sound very vanilla. It’s not necessarily a bad thing but I just don’t think that they have that much influence.
I feel like this album happened but I didn’t really listen to it if that makes sense. I feel as though it just went by and I had it going but can’t recall. I believe it was average and usually ai would notice if something was outright horrible but there was absolutely nothing memorable about this.
I know some say he’s the greatest singer and blah blah but oh boy was this a snooze. I’m sorry but listening to this in the morning was a bad idea because it was putting me right back to sleep. My one positive is that it was relatively short but one more minute and I would have collapsed. I mean I just can’t get past how boring it was, I’m sure it was good but I just can’t get over that.
It was something! I don’t know I feel like I guess it went by somewhat fast so that’s good rather than dragging along but, I hate to say this again because it’s becoming a pattern, there was nothing that stuck out. I just guess I don’t see anything super influential about this.
I mean this was better than I assumed it would be. I didn’t dislike it and I actually found myself vibing to it occasionally. It was kind of fun but I just don’t think I would pick it out to listen to.
I’m sorry but I really didn’t ask for white noise. This felt like their first studio session and they’re doing checks on instruments. This did not appeal to me at all. I believe I don’t have amazing authority over what should be considered great music and not, but I just don’t see how this is. I’m not sure how it was revolutionary or influential and I don’t think it was even good.
I really didn’t connect with this album as much as I thought I may have. I think something about the chords or something I don’t know. I listened to it again and still felt indifferent towards it. I didn’t actively dislike it but I think I just felt some disappointment because I didn’t love it.
This was honestly so boring and weird and strange. I didn’t like it at all. Sometimes I like unique sounding albums however this did not pass that. This was awful in every way and just so blech.
This album grew on me for sure. It was definitely peaceful and nice to do work alongside. I thought I would dislike this but it was nice. I don’t think I would go out of my way to listen to it again but no complaints. A little too simple to stand out to me, but all in all pretty nice.
To my surprise, the fact that there were no lyrics wasn’t what I didn’t like about this album. I think that after seeing it was only 40 minutes, I was shocked how long it felt. The first two songs I was vibing with but after awhile it unfortunately just sounded similar and somewhat boring..
This wasn’t as bad as I assumed it to be. It was definitely groovy and I didn’t get sick of it at all and it was fun to listen to. Unfortunately I think it really didn’t bring much and I don’t see myself searching for it again.
Just a great, hardcore rock album that was much needed after a drought of good music. quick to get through, leaves you wanting more. Good and classic!
I recognize that she is incredibly well liked and famous and etcétera, however she was not my type of music. There were few songs I enjoyed and I just couldn’t really get behind it.
I always go into the Smiths thinking I’ll hate his voice but it’s always less annoying than I remember. This almost had what it takes to get to a four but I think it’s just slightly hard for me to get past his monotone depressing voice that I can’t rate it so high.
OK, I did not like this whatsoever, but considering with how horrible it could have been it was not absolutely horrible. And given the fact that it was only 20 minutes I didn’t have enough time to realize how truly bad it was. I genuinely would never listen to this again though it’s not something I would ever enjoy however, I do think I’ve heard worse.
I am surprised to have never heard of this band. They shared a lot of resemblance to many iconic rock bands which I definitely liked. There were times where the voice was slightly difficult to get behind but I think that’s what made it so interesting. Definitely would listen again.
This really sounded like a mixture between Lorde and Kidz Bop somehow… I felt as though the last song didn’t fit in the album either- it completely felt different and was surprising to hear. I’m not really sure how to feel about this album; it felt a little immature but also deep, although I know those are contradictory. I didn’t hate it but it confused me in a not great way.
This sounded as if someone was pulled off the street and paid $5 to sing and it was unsuccessful. The voice just really bothered me because it seemed to not be trying and the music wasn’t loud enough to cover the badness of it. Just not good.
I was familiar with a few songs that I sing on the regular, then there were a couple I had never heard before, but I liked pretty much all of them. You can hear how much she matured, her voice, between this album and the one we had earlier and I enjoy it quite a bit. Her style is very different but good, and it was just a good album.
Not to be harsh but this was everything in an album I don’t really like. Extraordinary long with little to no singing and nothing to make up for the absence of voices. I see that it is influential but I just didn’t like it.
I, to my surprise, enjoyed this album. I like the vibe it brought and the harmonies were really nice to listen to. I would definitely listen again, it was cute and interesting.
I just love every song on this album. The transitions were so cool- smooth and not harsh at all. The songs were so complex and original, just no complaints.
I didn’t hate it, I just felt that the entire album was incredibly boring. I was waiting for it to be over not because it was horrible but because it’s what I listened to first thing in the morning and didn’t want to fall asleep again. It just wasn’t my type of music- sleepy.
Wow I really really liked this album. I knew I was a fan of Simon and Garfunkel but I don’t think I’ve ever listened to Simon on his own and I loved it. It sounded similar to his duo work and there wasn’t a part i didn’t like.
I recognize that her voice is incredibly powerful and amazing however the majority of times it was too much to me. The music in the background was definitely fit for her vocals however it was too mushy and slow for my liking. I completely understand how others would enjoy this however I did not.
I found this album strange. It was difficult to decipher my true feelings about it which was very interesting. It was definitely weird and different but that was what was intriguing about it. I feel like if I had to listen to it many more times I could learn to really like it but for now i’ll stay invested.
I do understand how influential Bob Dylan is and was however this album didn’t reflect that, in my opinion. It dragged on in a way that seemed he just sang to sing and not in a good one. I disliked his voice completely.
This album was strange. I don’t really know what my opinion is- it started off sounding like a horror musical and then kind of towards the end sounded slightly southern? I don’t know I feel like a i got lost in the point and it was just odd. I dinnt hate it but I feel like it should be in some sort of musical …? I was definitely intrigued but I think the 40 minutes was more than enough.
Gosh i mean this music genre is just never something I’ll be super into, so listening to an hour + of it was just confirmation that I’ll never look for it. I’m sure it’s great for some but I just don’t see any appeal to it.
I think that r&b music is definitely a vibe that I have to be looking for at a specific time. It can be really nice and groovy sometimes but then others it just drags along and I get bored easily. I listened half and half with this, and I feel completely averaged. I just feel unchanged after listening to this- it didn’t really alter my thoughts on it and therefore I feel completely mid.
Of course I knew many songs off this album and immediately I could see the influence and popularity of it. I think the Beastie Boys are a band that is something I’ll always listen to if it’s on but I wouldn’t go out of my way to listen and search for the music. For some reason it’s just sometimes not what I’m looking for, however when it’s on it’s definitely a jam.
Gosh I am sick of this group. I don’t find anything good about them and I just keep waiting for it to be over. I blanked out at some point and ignored it because it was just so bad sounding - both music and vocals together were just nails on a chalkboard.
Good lord this was awful. I have literally nothing positive to say and I have no idea how anyone could like this. The music was genuinely deafening and the vocals were the cherry on top of sounds from hell.
This was a good album in my opinion! I don’t have many complaints however I think it’s just music that I’m content listening to but I don’t really have a strong connection to it and therefore I can’t really praise it. It was nice and not obnoxious but that’s all I have.
I was only familiar with one song- Psycho Killer, but I liked the rest. For some reason they reminded me slightly of Steely Dan which i LOVE. Unfortunately this is once again out of 5 rather than 10 and I feel like if I was able to listen to this album a couple more times it may grow to be above average (4/5) however I just can’t do that. 7/10.
I recognize that this is a soundtrack however I still was incredibly bored listening to the entire thing. I give credit because of its history but from a blank slate point of view I disliked it entirely because I just felt no connection nor no desire to continue listening. I felt it was so boring which honestly makes sense because it’s a soundtrack so it’s not the main point but that’s exactly why I didn’t like it.
In my opinion there are better PG albums but it was still good and I’d listen again. I enjoy his music and the Phil Collins drumming too.
I’m sorry but within the first second I accepted that I would dislike this album. The vocals immediately dragged and made me angry to a point where I didn’t know if I could move on even with the next song. It was slow and painful to listen to.
I don’t know if it’s because I’ve gone so long without hearing him so my ears have had time to settle, if this is a different sounding album than the rest, or if I trying just don’t remember him, but this wasn’t bad at all. Don’t get me wrong I barely remember specifics, however I recall it being easy to listen to. The length was incredibly tolerable as well.
This type of country music is something I can tolerate because there wasn’t the annoying sass in the voice or anything like that. Don’t get me wrong I’d never pick it out but it went by genuinely smoothly and I’d listen to it again as background.
I can definitely see how this is influential in so many ways, however I really didn’t like it. For me, when there’s talking in an album it kind of ruins it and makes it less music. I can understand why people like it and the impact it’s had on music to come, however that’s where my compliments end.
In all ways possible, this album was awful. I can’t understand how this is influential and within the first second I was disgruntled with the voice and all that surrounded it. I really didn’t like any aspect of this album, and it went on for far too long.
Honestly just nothing really stuck with me throughout this album. I feel like it went in one ear and directly out the other. I don’t really have much criticism about it, which is good, however I just don’t see how it is largely influential.
This album was nice, clean cut and short. It just felt like a nice almost introduction to rock music as nothing too much or too little. I respect it however I don’t see a huge importance to it in my opinion.
I rip on Neil Young all the time because the previous couple albums I’ve heard from him were just slow and whiny, so I was impressed to hear him sound more rock like and strong voiced. It was a nice album however a little too long for me and I also didn’t click with it much. There’s nothing blatantly horrible or even bad about it I think I just found it boring.
This music was definitely unique. It was different from itself everywhere and it was interesting, however the type of music was everything I don’t like unfortunately. I can see the influence it’s had because of the experimental sounding and combination however none of the songs were good.
When I awoke to see the being the album I was definitely disappointed simply because it’s not something I’m used to or desire usually. However that’s the whole point of this, to be exposed to new music styles and genres. Given that, I think this album leaned toward the “okay, and” side for me but at points it was nice to listen to. I see why it’s on this list however not something I really enjoyed.
It was honestly very surprising to me to hear that this album was so big. I truly truly did not see the hype surrounded by it and I found it rather boring. I tried to understand but it just kept going and so could not find any interesting part. Props to them for making such a big album, but not for me.
Honestly I enjoyed this a lot more than so thought I would. It grew on me fast and reminded me heavily of some of my favourites - the Lumineers. It was simple but in my opinion very enjoyable and no complaints here.
I really see the influence that this could have had and the people they were influenced by. The song that stuck out to me was Further Away and I really enjoyed it. I feel as though I could listen to it in all scenarios and any time.
I think I just had mixed emotions about this album overall. I think it was diverse and something new, but honestly it just didn’t stick with me. I was intrigued to listen to it but I just barely remember it. I do recognize the influence though!
This album consists of beautiful songs that build, connect, and that are just amazing. I love Chris Martin’s voice and it’s so melodic and fits with the music perfectly. An incredible album from start to finish.
I’ve grown up intended to hate Morrissey because of his dragging monotone vocals, but it just fits the music so well. I dont hate on this because nobody else’s voice could work so well with the lyrics and he just does it so well.
This album was just fine. I just really don’t see what sets them apart from anyone else and I don’t quite see the influence. I just listened to them and I feel like I can’t render anything. Their songs were amusing at some point, like Bpuncing Babies, but I just don’t see the interesting part.
I’m sorry but no matter how influential an album is considered it should NOT sound like this. I will truly never understand why screaming voices can be so likeable and that’s something I will never back up.
I don’t understand why so many Nick Cave albums are necessary. Emphasis on the BAD seeds because what is going on here. The very first sound of this album I immediately knew it would consist of 45 minutes of torture, and I was right. His voice is excruciating to listen to and the music along with it is just horrible as well.
Neil Young is someone that 98% of the time I will never like his music. His harmonica is such a desperate and whining sound that I can’t bear for an entire second. NO thank you Mr. Young, I hope we don’t meet again.
I’m familiar with one of their songs but I’ve never listened to an album in entirety and it was just alright. I think sometimes the music was funky in a good way and I do see the attraction to her voice but to me I just didn’t agree with the sound of it. I recognize that’s completely a preference for me and that i’d why I give some respect because it’s definitely different from a lot.
I very much respect Miles Davis and the influence he’s had however I just can never ever get into him. His songs to me are just very boring and lengthy- I do understand that’s the point and it’s supposed to be like that but it just drags on and I can’t deal with it. I do recognize he is very good though.
Good lord no music should ever sound like this. Within two minutes I knew this would be one of the worst albums I’ve heard in my entire life. I’m sorry but it’s horrible on every form shape and sound and I hope to never hear this again. The only explanation I can see this being on this list is a blueprint of what people should never ever replicate.
This was genuinely the worst thing I’ve heard. Not a single second did I enjoy it and it’s genuinely insulting that this garbage is on this list. In no world should someone want to listen to this.
This album genuinely just bored me to hatred. I remember every single minute of it because it just felt like it was forever and ever. One song was okay but in my opinion all the songs were mushed together and I didn’t need it. It wasn’t painful to hear however I can’t really say anything good.
Honestly just based on the band name I was prepared for much much worse and ‘scream’ sounds but I just got boring. There just wasn’t much to this and I don’t quite get why or how it’s influential because to me it just felt like an hour of them struggling to decide what music they want to stick with. It obviously could have been worse however not for me.
I appreciate her incredible experimenting and the variety in her skills however in this specific case I just could get super attached to it. I recognize what she can do with her music and the impact and influence she had but it didn’t appeal to me.
I honestly just didn’t see what was so special about them. To me they didn’t have any sort of oomph that made them incredible. I recognize that they were some of the first to sound like this however I see so distinction and nothing that truly impressed me.
Gah i’m sorry but in no way whatsoever will I listen to this again. No hate towards anything however I can’t do an hour of this not even one song. It went on for far too long and i was just - not good.
I truly believe that the singer ruined any chance of this album being good. I couldn’t focus on anything other than his awful vocals and it was disappointing because I would have liked to determine how much I liked the rest of it but it was too hard.
I respect their unique approach and style to the music world. I personally would never go out of my way to listen to them however based solely on their name it was better than expected. Props to them and respect given.
Compared to what I’ve had in the past week this album was calming and a good break. However based on itself, the singers approaches aren’t my style and it was just mid. I liked the last song and it’s guitaring but nothing else stood out.
Jesus christ this is one of if not the worst albums Ive heard and if it’s not the worst it competes with their other albums. Not one second of this album was in any way successful in my mind. No need to ever hear this gnarly yucky voice or music again.
I absolutely look forward to any Peter Gabriel because I know I’ll like it but it’s different than his last album. This is undeniably just a good and classic album. Honestly it’s not my favourite of his, however in itself so diverse and impressive.
I will never be a big rap fan so I do need to take that into account. I understand the significance and influence of this album however the lyrics are despicable and the music was just alright. I’ve definitely heard worse music and at some times I was bopping around to the tune however not my jam.
What a classic rock album. It’s exactly what I think of with Def Leppard and it was exactly what I wanted. Although in my opinion there is a lot of rock better than them, it’s just so classic and genuinely good tunes and ROCK, it’s hard not to love.
Wow this was horrible. I thought at first it might be something new to try and I should have an open mind but that shit down real quick after I heard the exact same phrase 30055927 times in one song, every song, for over an hour. No song should be that repetitive to a point where I can tell the title before it his the 30 second mark every single time. I could do snippets of each song for half a minute but this version is hell.
I’m not sure what I expected but this was pleasantly surprising. I was intrigued by both singing and music and I feel if I had more time to listen to a larger variety I would probably be somewhat entranced. It was very interesting and I would give it another chance.
Honestly, I have heard her voice before so I expected to absolutely despise this album and find no positives to it however I thought the music was actually very lovely. Her voice to put it plainly was insufferable however getting past that it was folky and nice.
Honestly I think this album just made me laugh at the fact that this song was a one hit wonder and I genuinely can’t tell why. I feel like I just had this album on in the background and it just went on with me. It was alright but nothing special.
This type of music is honestly not something I usually like however it sounded entrancing and peaceful. I don’t think it’s something I’d pick out of the bunch. It was relaxing to listen to.
every single song on this album was exciting until it got super repetitive. This happened for every single song. If I don’t know if the songs were shorter or had it slightly more variety, I would definitely consider giving this a higher rating, however, I feel like they took one sentence and ran with it. It was genuinely a good vibe, and I grooved alone to the songs each time, but then after two maybe three minutes, it was boring and just kept sounding the same.
Yikes. One second in and I already knew it was gonna be a long one. The monotone voice is something that immediately shuts me off and that’s exactly what happened. I felt like it was the only thing I could hear and it sounded as if a random person was picked from a crowd and forced to sing a song they only kind of knew. I didn’t like this at all.
To my shock, I really enjoyed this. Especially the first three songs. I thought that the music was incredibly diverse and his singing was different get intriguing and impressive. I really liked the variety of background music with more of a consistent singing.
I’m never a fan of speaking throughout an album and especially an album I already don’t like. All I can really say is that it was awful in all shapes and forms.
I feel like this is an album that had potential for one or two songs to make it big because they are classic sounding however the rest was just so boring and I really don’t see how they’re influential. I’m not disgusted or anything I was just bored.
Eughhh I honestly didn’t love the immediate aggression of british pop and then that’s all I could think of from then on. The music seemed good enough but the vocals seemed overwhelming.
To my own fault I can’t truly even remember this album too well which is funny because I just listened to it but maybe that’s a sign. I feel like it had potential to be cool but that’s where it ended and I would never pick this to listen to.
If not my favourite album of all time, it’s top 5. This each and every song is perfect and I could listen always. Billy Joel the man that you are!
This was an interesting album and I’m glad we had it because I would honestly never pick it out myself but it was a great new genre to listen to and it really wasn’t bad. I feel like I wouldn’t pick it out again but it was nice to have an introduction
I was very excited to get a pop album and I don’t believe I’ve ever listened to a Destinys Child album from start to finish. In all honesty I didn’t think anything was incredibly amazing however I do see incredible talent but I don’t see a massive amount of influence unfortunately. It was good though and a nice break.
The song was actually amazing and shockingly, I’d never heard it before. It really was just incredible. I feel like the album definitely fluctuated for me and there were a couple au was skeptical of but Stephen Stills really has a lot of talent and it shows here. I would definitely listen to him any time.
This is the kind of country that I just always associate with the word ‘country’. This to me was extremely typical and very much so expected. It wasn’t absolutely horrible but I honestly would not listen to this because this is exactly what turns me away from this genre.
Yikes I really don’t see how this is influential. You can’t even consider the guy making noise a singer because it was more just cries (for help I assume?). Dog poop album.
This album was actually quite relaxing to do work to and it kept me going but didn’t put me quite to sleep, however once I stopped working then I kind of got slightly bored by it. I don’t think I would ever pick it to listen to but it was nice to have non distracting background noise.
I really understand his influence and his immense impact on the entire world but to me I didn’t totally see the spark. And yes i know I am saying that because i have access to all the music he influenced and I am bigger fan of that, so I do recognize that. However just really not a huge fan!
The first song just brings happy memories thinking of the movie Elf so I was immediately positive thinking listening to this album. I realized that I actually do like Frank Sinatra and his voice however I think like three songs in a row is my limit then I get a little sick of him. I do actually enjoy his music though.
I really just don’t see or understand the significance of this album. I dont see how it’s influential because I was actually pretty bored listening to it almost immediately. I genuinely tried to analyze the importance but couldn’t find it. It bored me however I can’t give it a 1 because I didn’t hate it but it just was unnecessary. No emotion with this.
Oh my gosh now THIS made me annoyed. This was like theatre music that lasted a week long and I was taped to a chair and forced to listen to it. This album made me lose respect for this list (not really) but it just kept going and I was dying of boredom yet pain.
I feel like this was very basic to me, but it was nice and short and spunky. I didn’t really learn anything from it however it was nice and kept me awake. Some points I wasn’t obsessed with how it sounded but it went by relatively fast.
I rarely ever read the wikipedia pages which I do realize I should see more ofc but I do it mostly to try to not he bias with my opinion however reading this one showed me how truly influential this album is and that was very important to see. Although this genre of music is something I really just don’t like all that much, the album being so influential really helps how I feel about it because now I know why it’s on the list.
Gosh words can’t describe the hatred I have for this man’s voice. I just think he’s so overrated (I know I’ll get killed for that) but I can’t stand his nasally whiny voice. I do recognize he has incredible influence especially with CSNY and I love them. So i’ll give him credit for that, however despite his incredible influence I dislike him.
I wasn’t a huge fan of this album unfortunately it just was kind of strange and I didn’t love it. I think it was somewhat uninteresting and I just don’t totally see its influence.
This album I actually quite enjoyed. I found it spunky and funky and I would definitely listen again. I could see why it was on this list- it’s different than other albums and au recognize parts that would be influential or different for the time this came out. Personally I would give this a 7/10, I think 4/5 is too much for me however I did enjoy this and it was very nice to listen to.
This album was a little annoying at times Im not going to lie. There were vocal areas where I was peeved and then it just kind of set me off however I do usually like the Byrds so maybe it was just a different album that isn’t usually my type.
This album bored me. I didn’t like the song where it sounded like it was SKIPPING, I had to check my device multiple times to see if it was working. It went by fast which is always good but I don’t really recognize the influence.
I thought this was a fun short album but in all honesty it felt like a little bit of a filler. I don’t totally agree with influence and what not but it wasn’t necessarily a bad album. I just felt like other choices could have been made.
Hmm honestly I think this album seemed like random to me again for some reason I couldn’t understand its significance and it more or less just passed by.
No amount of fame or influence or anything could make me want to listen to this again. The first song right off the bat really showed me what I would be listening to and I was just so ready to be done with it. I really just wow.
I really do feel just a step by connection when listening to this duo. They make each of their songs so strong with lyrics yet don’t overhear with their voices and let the music take you away. They are beautiful and calming.
Emphasis on the psycho in psycho candy. Wow was this horrible. These songs felt like a combination of feedback and screeching to make a horrible sound. Nothing could have prepared me for how bad this was going to be.
So this album was actually very peaceful and relaxing to listen to. I think it was a little boring for sure after a couple songs but towards the beginning it was just calming and honestly pretty. I feel very neutral on this album and I’m not sure how to rate it because yes it was nice but I 1) don’t see its influence necessarily or 2) it did bore me towards the end. I think if I had the time I would listen a couple more times but for now I’ll give the benefit of the doubt.
Unfortunately I have a horrific memory and should have reviewed this earlier HOWEVER I remember by the time I got to the roses song I was in the verge of just stopping altogether. I think slowly but surely it got intolerable and it just got blah. I wish that these albums were more obvious with their influence.
To my shock, his voice was not nearly as annoying as I usually find it. Towards the end I started to feel agitated at his singing but this album allowed me to recognize the skills Mr. Neil has apart from his supposed good voice. I enjoyed slightly but I just really can’t ignore his voice. I really do understand his incredible incredible influence and I am like a grain of rice amongst bags of rice who support him but I just can’t.
To me this was too theatrical. I think it was very nice but for something on like broadway. I don’t love such drama or this vibe too much in an album, I would rather this be saved for a musical. I do enjoy Arctic Monkeys but this feels so much different than them and not my jam.
I really hated the first like four minutes of this album, then it gradually became more intriguing. However I’ve never been of fan of music that just really contains different “sounds.” I definitely wavered with this album because at points it was pretty sounding then others it was just honestly aggravating noises. I’m just not a fan of this type of music, but I can see why others may be.
This was pretty. Naturally, nothing with the word orchestra is ever going to make me personally jump for joy however this album was medic and peaceful and I quite enjoyed it.
Oh god this was intolerable. This voice is so horrible and mopey and just drags on like it doesn’t matter. I really hated this and I just can’t see why it’s on this list: it sounds like he gave up trying immediately. Boring, gross.
honestly I was pretty excited to get The Clash because I was so ready for a classic british rock band but I hate to say I was disappointed. I can’t totally pin point what about it I didn’t love, I think it was to like twingey for me if you hat makes sense. I felt like it didn’t mesh well or something? I don’t know what exactly the issue was but something didn’t click for me.
I went into this knowing absolutely nothing about this band and came out being very pleasantly surprised. Disclaimer, at some points it was irritatingly boring HOWEVER I am feeling optimistic today. This was a pretty album that was calming and peaceful and I liked it. His voice sounds youthful- not necessarily young but I like the sound that it brings to the gentle music. I like it a lot!
I have to admit prior to starting any part of this I saw the artist name and got nervous it would be some sort of heavy metal scary band, but luckily it wasn’t. I kind of liked it, but I also found it a little blah. I think I would listen again but I can’t identify what exactly speaks out to me? I don’t know.
This album in particular just ANGERED me so very much. It felt very immature and college level band in the basement but are so incredibly unsuccessful. It felt like they started out and neither changed nor tweaked ANYTHING.
In all honestly I have no idea why this album is on the list. I feel like his band would be considered more ‘influential’ rather than his solo career. Despite this, it is a fun album. I’ve never considered myself a huge JT fan but i’m not one to say this isn’t a vibe. I’m familiar with the two famous ones, and other than those I don’t believe I’d heard of any of them, but I was bumping along to them all. It’s definitely a conflicting rating because I did really vibe but I just don’t think it compares to a lot of the incredibly significant albums on this list. I feel a 6/10.
The influence the first half of this album had on the world is so incredibly immaculate and powerful that that alone allows it to have 10/10 in my opinion. Michael Jackson’s music is such an important part of the history of music, and it’s a bonus that it’s so good.
Stevie continues to amaze me. His albums are so obviously significant and influential for decades to come on all music genres. Of course I recognize a lot of these songs but even the new ones were just so intellectual and unique yet interesting. Love him.
Honestly I have heard so much about Lenny Kravitz but I don't believe I've ever actually listened to him before. Needless to say I really don't see amazingness, unfortunately. It wasn't bad of course, it was very fun and definitely good however I don't see hype. Kind of disappointed. This is me knowing little to nothing about him, and basing it solely on this album.
I think this is one of the only times I have re listened to an album. And I do not regret it. The first time around I think I was just half paying attention, but the second time I really got to appreciate it. Towards the end I felt a little blah with the vocals, which in all honestly weren’t the strongest at any point of this album, but I really appreciate the first song. It’s very good to open with and the rest flowed along. Impressive, and feeling nice today. 4/5, 7/10.
Ok so this was actually terrifying. It is mid day and I am scared listening to this honestly. The songs were so so long and just sounded like screaming. They were like noises in a movie continuously going for 12 minutes. Did not like this at all.
This is one of those albums I just cannot get behind. Im sure it has its reasons for being on this list but wow I could not wait for it to be over. I thought that it was already a little much in the French language but then the style sent it over the edge. I definitely was not a fan.
No words for the amount of love I have for Adele. Her vocal skill is something to be fascinated by and envy at the same time. She is absolutely incredible lyrics and vocals together.
Honestly, I’ve never seen the immense hype around Bowie. It’s undoubtable he has talent, but to me I don’t see him to the levels others believe he is at. I was hoping to be swayed by this but I was kind of bored.
This album actually helped me realize how good of a band U2 is. I think I’ve just been pushing them aside, because they’ve never been my favourite, but this album really showed me how good their music is. Everything sounded amazing together and it genuinely left me wanting more.
I was surprised by my immediate liking to the start of the album and how I got into it right away. Throughout, it got a little twangy for me and I lost a lot of my interest though. I think that it started off very strong, but throughout time I got bored of it.
Oh no thank you. I just can’t get behind music like this that much, I don’t see its charm. I can possibly see how it’s popular- I respect the different style, but I just don’t like it.
Oh now this was creepy and eerie. Especially as it went on…. the children speaking and the creaking doors oh no thank you. I guess I don’t really understand why this album is here- just a strange sound all throughout. I don’t think there was any part I was particularly impressed by. I guess I could see why someone might like this, because it’s so incredibly different. I’ll give them that.
I really thought I would like this album more than I ended up. Towards the first half of the album I was very excited- the first strong started off really strong and the next few that followed had an amazing rock sound to them. However, after about the fifth or sixth track I started getting really just annoyed by the voice and the sound.
So I definitely see significance here. At some points I was definitely vibing along to it and really enjoyed but I think overall it was hard to find incredibly interesting just because it’s a different language. I definitely see its popularity though.
So wow is this shocking. I really liked this album. I don’t know if it’s because it came at a good time or what- I was working along to it, but it was the perfect sense of not too distraction but good enough that I could really appreciate the music and the talent. The last song was incredible, an amazing way to wrap up the album. I usually have nothing great to say about albums with no singing, but wow this was awesome. I see so much talent, so much influence, and would 1000% listen again.
This was just a bad album I think. It was very annoying to listen to and it felt like it was really trying hard to be difficult but painfully failed. It felt urban but still stuck in some old ways that just couldn’t click.
I recognize the Doors are a very influential band and I only saw some of that in this album. I think it was very instrumental but wasn’t strong enough in that area for me to be completely impressed. I definitely understand why this is an enjoyable album, however I didn’t love it.
I don’t know about this… I guess it was funky but just not exciting. It didn’t really have anything SHOUTING influential or amazing at me. I passively listened to it and just waited to it to be over honestly. It was a nice vibe but just not so WOW.
