Never listened to this whole record before. Not gonna lie, it POPS
I went through a huge Doors phase, and still love going back to their music. This album is arguably their best, and there aren't really 'bad' songs or filler, as in some other albums. I used to really buy in to the Jim Morrison as poet thing, but I think it's mostly nonsense, now. I still really enjoy their music, though!
Such a good record. So many great tracks. Great listen from start to finish.
I'd seen the name of this band before but never listened. I liked it!
Classic, classic. Still rocks. I have a bias against double LPs though.
Great record! Really enjoyed listening to it again, start to finish. Good soundtrack to a chill morning frying bacon and eggs for the fam.
Great record. Doesn't drag too much for being a double LP. Prince is a favorite.
A fine record. "Any Major Dude Will Tell You" is a classic, and I liked the title track. On the whole though... this music does not grab me, really.

I don't think I've ever listened to this all the way through. I liked it! The sound of it just didn't really grab me throughout, despite its significance or whatnot.
I've never listened to this record, despite hearing the title track all my life on classic rock radio stations, or at least a trimmed down version of it. I enjoyed the record, don't really see why it's so important. I guess you've gotta widen the scope of this thing a little bit if there are a THOUSAND on the list, haha
Great album. It's a fun vibe all the way through. I've revisited it many times over the years
A fun listen. A bit too much of a rock opera for my attention span though, I think? Quality music though.
Solid debut. Iconic. I struggle with their LPs because 1) so many tracks blend together, and 2) there's a lot of filler of so-so songs.
I've never heard of this group or record previously. It was a fun listen! This era of electronic music is a gap for me. I've got Kraftwerk, and then nothing prior to the mid 90s with Moby etc.
This is a long record. Fun to revisit. But... it's a long record. Cut 3-4 tracks and it'd get a fourth star.
Sorta sleepy and chill, was a good listen, even if the music didn't grab me (sorry, Missy!). Busta real agro in the intro and outro, does not go with the vibe of the record.
Classic, classic record. Great listen, though no single song sticks with me past "Manish Boy," except maybe "The Blues Had a Baby and They Named it Rock and Roll."
Such a good record. So many great tracks. Great listen from start to finish.
I was so bored listening to this. But I made it through. I've heard worse music, so it gets a second star.
I've never listened to this record before, just "Boxer." Though, I do know Bloodbuzz Ohio. I like this band, just haven't listened to them a ton.
The voice of an angel. Beautiful. Never listened to her first record before; I mostly spin Diamonds and Rust.
I've never listened to him or this record before. I mostly hated it, but... kinda liked it, by the end? Extremely E A S Y . L I S T E N I N G .
Fun record, classic tracks. No real down notes on this LP.
I haven't listened to this since college, probably 15 years ago. I used to like the Wu-Tang extended universe a lot more back then. Now I don't enjoy the agro shout-rapping as much, in addition to content aging poorly.
Fun record. Song 2 is an all-time classic, still gets my blood hot. Hadn't listened to this LP previously. Fun distortion.
I don't know what I was expecting, having only ever listened to a couple tracks from Dirty Projectors. They were huge with the hipsters while I was in college, so I guess I just never listened. A fine record, but forgettable.
I love this record. It's like going back in time for a nice warm cup of tea.
Always enjoy a Bowie record. Never listened to this one though, somehow. It was fine. My favorite track was "Panic in Detroit," which was funnily enough the least-streamed track of the record, on Spotify.
Tarkus was great. Forgot how much I like this silly group.
All-time classic. Nothing but great tracks. One of my favorite records.
Didn't much enjoy this record. Interesting adding the layering of tape machines to hardcore.
All-time classic. All tracks are fire, and "Purple Rain" is my least favorite--saying something.
People really talk up Big Star and their stature, but I just don't get it. It's... fine?
Classic record, certainly not my favorite Beatles record, but a great one from their early era.
Never listened to this actual LP, though pretty much all of the songs were familiar. Absolutely fantastic.
I was big into Wu during college. Haven't listened much in the last 10 years, but this record is still a banger.
This was a slog to get through, but not awful. Not as much FUN as I expect from Genesis.
Classic record. Unless obsessed with golden era hip hop, not really worth listening to straight through, just hit the highlights.
Great record, not my favorite of theirs. Definitely still "Velvet Underground," but more pleasant, not as noisy as later records.
I had a big psychedelic rock phase late in college/right after. The singles are good, the album mostly forgettable. Blends together.
Always enjoy the Foo Fighters. I'm not sure I've ever listened to their first record!
I like their other records more. I know this was caught up in the hysteria of a rock opera but for the NEW MILLENNIUM, but I don't think it was quite as amazing as it was made out to be.
I do not voluntarily listen to MJ's music. I change the radio station in the car if he comes on, and I'm not gonna listen to this asshole here either.
I love her music and voice. None of these tracks really stuck with me though.
Not my favorite Byrds album, but I still like it. "Chimes of Freedom" has always been one of my favorite tracks of theirs.
I remember liking Quicksilver Messenger Service more than this, upon relistening to this record. Maybe it was other records of theirs I liked more? My AP Gov teacher in HS introduced me to them. COOL DUDE
It was good, fine. Don't know why they're so popular!
I'd seen the name of this band before but never listened. I liked it!
Always loved this record. Got a lot of elements of what I love from rock from this era.
Fun record, so many samples. I get the critical reception.
I guess this record is important, for some reason? I liked a couple of the songs, most was just background music.
Always loved psychedelic rock. This is a great record.
It was a fine record, didn't grab me for the most part.
All-time classic. So good, from beginning to end. So many iconic tracks, too.
All-time classic. Always enjoy listening to this, front to back.
It was fine. Got some hits, but most of the rest didn't grab me.
Haven't listened to this in years. It's good, iconic and all. I don't think it needed to be a double LP.
So many iconic songs on this record, no down points.
I had no idea what to expect with this one. It was exactly as described, the innovative bridge between early electronic music and electro pop. I liked it!
I've never really bought into solo John Lennon as being such a visionary etc. etc. But, a fine record.
It was a good listen, definitely of a certain era/point in time in altpop music. I didn't love it, but no complaints.
Quite a record--I enjoy the vibe of Pavement, though I don't understand how they deserve all the obsessive praise.
Man, I haven't listened to this since college. "Pack the Pipe" is an underrated track
I'm not sure if I've listened to this record before. It felt a little... gimmicky? Was that the point? I didn't like 'Bodhisattva,' and 'My Old School' was forgettable. I like their other big records more, I swear!
Not really a Steely Dan 'guy,' but this record is so easy and good to listen to.
This is a band I've always wanted to like, but the distorted guitars just can't match up with the vibe, and it always just sounds unnecessarily noisy to me.
Love a classic country record like this.
Good record! A lot of LPs of this era fall flat in spots, but this held me throughout
God, even if you don't like this type of rock, this record does not QUIT. And I love it.
Not my favorite VU record, but still a vibe to listen to. A little too noisy & chattery to be enjoyable throughout.
This record is very much of a specific time and place for me. Really brings out some emotions and memories. (I do like this record.)
So many solid tracks. Takes me back. Hard to listen to, with how violent and misogynistic and homophobic it is, though.
Pixies has never really clicked for me. It's fine, just a combination of sounds that isn't *magic* to me.
I've never listened to one of her records, front to back. Really liked it!
Eh, this album was fine I guess. Relax is a bop!
I do not voluntarily listen to MJ's music. I change the radio station in the car if he comes on, and I'm not gonna listen to this asshole here either.
Her more famous songs on this didn't really grab me. I most enjoyed Mesmerizing, Divorce Song, and Stratford-on-Guy.
Never listened to this whole record before. Not gonna lie, it POPS
Great record, not a lot of my favorite Dylan tracks though.
Dang. What a record. So many great tracks. Back half drops off a bit.
A couple decent songs. Spotify wouldn't allow playback of half the record though.
I feel like I should be able to mark 'listened' and 'enjoyed,' but also that I am wildly unqualified to put a rating on this, given how little I know about African music.
One of the all-time great live records. Definitely a favorite of mine.
I find them kind of annoying overall, to be honest. I realized it's part of the idea probably, but I really only enjoyed a couple tracks.
This record has always felt a little disjointed to me, but it is undeniably an all-time classic.
Good record, fantastic artist. Son of a Preacher Man is an all-time favorite song.
Been a long time since I've listened to this record, it's just not one of my go-tos for the Stones. But it's a great one, kind of a sleeper even though only a couple of their bigger songs.
Takes me back to a very specific post-college yearning. Sad, but pretty.
Great, great record. Not *tons* of their biggest hits, but a thoroughly great record.
Very atmospheric, predictably. A pleasant listen. Super influential, from what I've read.
Had no idea about Rod Stewart pre-solo career. An enjoyable listen, but didn't come away feeling that this was an all-time great record or anything.
Good record, fantastic artist. Back half pleasant to listen to but forgettable.
Never listened to their record, beyond just their biggest hit. Fun house grooves, but I don't think this is that important
Was a labor to listen to this whole record. I just can't get into super-"English" hip hop or whatever this is. I do remember hearing a couple of the tracks and the biggest single was fun enough, but this record was a lot to get through.
Never listened to this whole soundtrack before. It was a nice listen! Great vibes, of the era.
Never listened to Pantera before. Was a fun listen, sort of disjointed across styles of metal though. Not mad about hearing it
This was... fine? There's way too much Brit pop or whatever in this list.
Meh. It's an iconic sound, of this era. Don't find it very appealing overall.
Fun record. Love their sound, even if a lot of tracks blend together.
This was a fun record. Not really sure what it was though! Interesting cross-genre vibes from the mid-90s.
Fun jazz/pop/folk record. Only a couple tracks stuck with me though.
No bad songs, so many great ones. Would've given it 4.5 stars if I could because it's not a 'perfect' record.
Brings me back. Haven't listened to this record in awhile. Not their strongest, but a good listen.
I'm not sure I've ever listened to this record--a good listen, but not as many iconic tracks as Electric Warrior.
A couple bangers, but otherwise a little too chilled out to be universally memorable.
Great record of this era. I was disappointed there weren't more BANGERS in here, but overall very solid.
Man, their biggest hits strike me as so cloying. A fine pop-rock live record otherwise.
My favorite Stones album. Nothing but great tracks, and my favorite songs of theirs to boot.
Nothing really to be said that hasn't been said before. Great record, and tight. Unlike some of their others.
I've never listened to much of his work, but I liked this record! Some catchy songs, despite his 'atmospheric' rep
I don't really love The Police's sound generally, but this was a fine listen. Biggest hit on it ("Every Breath You Take") is one of my most-hated singles of all time.
One of my all-time favorite records. I'd go 4.5/5 if I could, but this deserves more than 4.
I've not listened to the Berlin trilogy before. I liked this record. Very Blade Runner-y.
Man, this is so dark. It's been a long time since I've listened to this straight through, and it was hard to get through. Later records had the same themes, but more replayability.
