Popular Reviews

Bat Out Of Hell by Meat Loaf

If the entire album was just the song Bat out of Hell repeated seven times it'd still be one of the better albums ever produced.

This Is Fats Domino by Fats Domino
Oct 11 2023

Maybe historically relevant but does not feel worthwhile as an independent listen.

Funeral by Arcade Fire
Oct 13 2023

has a lot going on at once, but not too interesting for me

Oct 18 2023

familiar hit songs that he does a great job with, but others are mediocre covers. actually skipped some. album had a wide range of quality

Machine Head by Deep Purple
Oct 19 2023

Standard rock band executed very well. Good to listen to but hard to stand out as an album other than Smoke on the Water obviously

Oct 20 2023

Standard rock band executed very well. Good to listen to but hard to stand out as an album other than Smoke on the Water obviously

Green Onions by Booker T. & The MG's
Oct 23 2023

Immediately recognized the opening riff despite not knowing the album or band name. Great music to chill to while working

Graceland by Paul Simon
Oct 24 2023

Excellent light listening with solid instrumental backing to good vocals.

Slippery When Wet by Bon Jovi
Oct 26 2023

Listened to this on repeat all day and just fantastic start to finish.

Hypnotised by The Undertones
Oct 27 2023

nondescript with no lasting impression. half the songs are about girls or boys. very weird.

The Stranger by Billy Joel
Oct 30 2023

A flawless album. Can leave it on repeat all day. Lyrics each enough to sing along to. Instruments layered in nicely to make each song sound unique.

Africa Brasil by Jorge Ben Jor
Oct 31 2023

Foreign language but the music is upbeat with some nice backup instruments. Great listen, especially when trying to concentrate since I wasn't distracted by the lyrics.

Harvest by Neil Young
Nov 01 2023
Seventh Tree by Goldfrapp
Nov 02 2023

Non-notable. Don't think it was mixed well either.

Younger Than Yesterday by The Byrds
Nov 03 2023

tries to bring in some interesting sounds and instruments I guess but just becomes irritating

Moving Pictures by Rush
Nov 06 2023

love the opening. Band has the patience to let the vocals carry without showing off their skills on their instruments (which they do so much of later).

Let It Bleed by The Rolling Stones
Nov 13 2023

Awesome rock.l

Boston by Boston
Nov 16 2023

Maximal quality per minute, however the album is short. Gets repetitive after a few listens.

Here's Little Richard by Little Richard
Nov 30 2023

Listened once. Very familiar but not something I could stand to listen to on repeat.

Bat Out Of Hell by Meat Loaf
Dec 18 2023

If the entire album was just the song Bat out of Hell repeated seven times it'd still be one of the better albums ever produced.

Deja Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
Dec 19 2023
Smile by Brian Wilson
Jan 03 2024
I See You by The xx
Jan 04 2024

Great beat lyrics and mix of instruments

Doggystyle by Snoop Dogg
Jan 11 2024

Style is unique but themes are repetitive (smoking weed and sex with women) it's not all that great as an overall album.

Underwater Moonlight by The Soft Boys
Jan 12 2024

nondescript. not worth a listen. just play the beatles instead.

The Real Thing by Faith No More
Jan 17 2024

Didn't know Faith No More is the band who played "Epic" so that was nice to learn. War pigs cover was.. fine?

Aqualung by Jethro Tull
Jan 19 2024

Thought I would love this because of the song Aqualung, but the album as a hole is nothing particularly special and I won't be returning to it.

Os Mutantes by Os Mutantes
Jan 24 2024

Blur the line between experimental and noise.

I See A Darkness by Bonnie "Prince" Billy
Jan 25 2024

If this album came out 40 years prior it might have been ground breaking. Not sure what it offered in 1999

Reggatta De Blanc by The Police
Feb 05 2024

Thought I'd enjoy this more but every song feels like "Yup, that's the police alright." without anything really standing out as interesting or worth another listen.

Savane by Ali Farka Touré
Feb 07 2024
The Message by Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five
Feb 15 2024

Some recognizable stuff but not sure the album holds up over time.

Green River by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Feb 19 2024
The Pleasure Principle by Gary Numan
Feb 23 2024

A lot of the songs sounded the same. "Conversation" ended and lead into "Cars" (the hit song on the album). I had to stop what I was doing to make sure the same song didn't repeat itself.

I Should Coco by Supergrass
Feb 26 2024

Fine, but nothing of note. Seems to be a justified one hit wonder.

Playing With Fire by Spacemen 3
Mar 15 2024

repetitive and noisy without anything interesting

Live! by Fela Kuti
Mar 20 2024

I can live without drum solos

Back To Black by Amy Winehouse
Mar 29 2024

very sad to hear that first song and know people were trying to help

Frank by Amy Winehouse
Apr 09 2024
Parklife by Blur
Apr 24 2024

feels like another generic British rock band

Ys by Joanna Newsom
Oct 14 2024
Play by Moby
Oct 29 2024
Lam Toro by Baaba Maal
Nov 08 2024

Nothing particular novel despite being a genre I haven't heard previously.

Low by David Bowie
Dec 10 2024
Loveless by My Bloody Valentine
Dec 20 2024

Track #4 "To Here Knows When" is some experimental noise situation which might have been ok at the end of the album. Instead if breaks up the flow forcing me out of the moment. Otherwise tolerable music.

Guero by Beck
Dec 24 2024
Sound of Silver by LCD Soundsystem
Feb 25 2025

I feel like every song has this long intro but just as it builds up to almost the hook it ends leaving me unsatisfied.

Queen II by Queen
Mar 18 2025

It's Queen, but not peak Queen. When you listen to Queen the only group you can rate them against is themselves.

Triangle by The Beau Brummels
Mar 19 2025
D by White Denim
Mar 28 2025
Vol. 4 by Black Sabbath
Jun 09 2025
Rapture by Anita Baker
