Back in the day yes. Now… too much going on
Only album of theirs that I even consider to listen too. In my teenage heyday I was in step, but as I grow older, the mood of rebellion has shifted. True craftsmanship in their form on this album. Unplugged doesn’t not get any better than this.
Monumental in my musical exploration. Thank you David Berger.
Not my forte. For the time it was released, I can see why it would’ve been a big deal. Not my crowd. Meh 🫤
It piqued my attention
Need a glass of whisky and a cigar for this one.
Took me by surprise. It will definitely go in the rotation. Young me would’ve had this if he only knew…
This came out of nowhere, wish I would’ve visited it sooner. This is the album JT wished he’d made. It’s smoove, definitely a late night drive album.
Reminds me of oasis. Not here or there, but I would introduce someone to it if they were down that road. Still nothing to buy a shirt over.
Great hits, solid recording. Wouldn’t pick it solely to listen to again.
The Stooges will always remind me of Dad. One morning before school he walked in to me bumping their first recorded and asked what the hell was playing. Those huge ass speakers were so loud. The raw punk still coming through on this album.
Awesome possum. Dim lights and nice company. I understand why he is held in high regard. If I found this on vinyl for a decent price I would pick it up.
It went. Haven’t heard of him before, poppy and upbeat. Not for me though.

No thanks. Groovy bass lines and maybe a banger or two.

Not available, but Motörhead!!! 👊🤘
Back in the day yes. Now… too much going on
Found this one at the pawn shop in high school, didn’t like it then, don’t like it now.
Amazing!! Can’t stop listening to it. Tragic story, the artist died in a fire the same year was released, just one album, that’s all he left us. So damn good. So perfect. Even caught Jasper’s attention. You feel as if you’re living this album. Perfect atmosphere, reminds me of the Lost Highway soundtrack.
Classic country. I could’ve listened to this again.
Next. Not a fan of U2 as we know.
Damn near solid. Glad this popped up, been looking for some good Rap/Hip-Hop.
Didn’t know Idles covered his song. Really good easy listening. Would recommend.
Good stuff. Took too long for me to come around.
Should’ve listened to this more in high school. Good stuff. Outside the “singles” it’s truly solid all the way around.
Super fun listen. Will as to the collection.
Next. Couldn’t do it.
Great background music. Scenery comes to mind. Very cinematic.
This was a fun listen. Different and catchy. Consider them added. Very funky and poppy, slow and upbeat.
Smooth listening. Loved the vocals.
Great punk vibe. Definitely would’ve listened to in high school and later. Sound like what I suppose the clash sound like
Not available. Womp womp
Easy listening. For the time and place I see why he got so big. Good grooves. Me likey
Need we say more.
Couldn’t do it. Sorry.
Pretty 60’s I believe. Nice feel. Product of the time. It’s nice.
Good stuff. Need my baby by my side and a warm fire.
Low volume. Didn’t commit time to this, will have to come back….maybe.
always good. I tend to forget how immersive his albums are. Til we meet again Mr. Wonder.
Nice trip hop esque style. A tad boring at times, but not ruling it out.
I always deemed them as artsy to a fault. Music is good and his voice is perfect for it. I wouldn’t skip it now.
10/10 cmon meow.
The Beatles, nuff said.
Couldn’t get pass track two, maybe some other time. 🤷♂️
Greatness from front to back. Yes!!
Added. Sultry voice. Fireside.
No thanks. Too slow.
Took me 30 years, but I see why they were the boom of hip hop. Samples for days and wonderful rhythmic flow.
Strong voice, sad I’ve avoided her. Perfect for the 90’s lovey, heart broken, free and independent feel. What a great time for music really. She cemented herself amongst the top females of the era.
Smooooooth. Not big on instrumentals, but they take the cake. Dim lights, smoky room.
Such a blast, bought the vinyl at goodwill and never looked back. Walked into it not knowing and glad I found out.
Not available.
Fucking 11/10!!!
Nice folksy, didn’t sit through the whole thing. Wasn’t what I needed at the moment you can say. Won’t be coming back.
This is what I’ve been looking for. So happy to have committed the time to listen thoroughly.
Very bluesy and nice in the ears, still no Beatles though 😆. The stones definitely stuck to their type of sound.
Spacey, poppy and and easy to catch on to. Background music for sure.
Definitely a chill session album. Haven’t had one of those in a whhhiillleee.
Smoove grooves. Added. Perfect music for getting work done.
Great for a teenager. I’ve moved on from the pumpkins, but still some good stuff
This was different. It’s as if each song was a different scene in a movie. Definitely background music to make the time go by.
Nope. Can’t do it.
Just what I’ve been looking for. Smooth beats. Can’t believe it took this long. The story telling the sampling. Such a great listen.
Fucking aye. Don’t have a reason for never listening to him, definitely keeping my ears open when it comes to more Prince down the line.
Watched him in 04-06, great memories. Got to witness a legend. Just don’t listen to the blues like I use to.
Meh, I’ll take it. Won’t be looking for it, time for the Police has gone and went for me.
Never was a fan. That whiny nihilistic holier than thou vocalist can suck it. The music is great, but unfortunately the vocals are a no go.
That 70’s groove we all know and love. Great background soundtrack. Groove to the bone.
Say less. 5/5.
Not available 😞
Unavailable, sad, I know it’s good stuff.
Good not bad. In high school I’d have been all over it, I appreciate his contribution to the folk landscape. That voice though
Cool soundtrack.
Nope. Just can’t bring myself to it. Sorry bjork. Not my cup of Joe.
Graduation year, who knew this would be the last album my circle of high school friends would be associated with. We hated it, we loved it, we didn’t know how to take it. Good grooves, this was their jump from the cliff. They gained a lot of new fans over this one
Brings back those right out of high school feels. Banger to banger to banger. Album is straight from start to finish. Definitely in rotation.
Loved the atmosphere. Funky, groovy. Throwing shit it on and showing it to everyone.
Infectious. Groovy.
Couldn’t crack the code. Too slow, still trying to find out the “why”. Maybe another listen might help, but I’m definitely not encouraged to look for more by them.
Soooo goood. Prog at its finest. Took too long to this listen to this one in full as well. Glad this popped up. Time for a deep dive.
Top notch. Will be listening to their discography. The randomness at the end, the different genres they put into it. Super excited this opened me to them.
A tad slow for me. Meh.
A bit slow, but deliciously soundscapy. I prefer the others over this one.
A little to “noise” to pass the time. A good late night listen though. Mind numbing
High school days gone past. The fastest punk I had listened too, learned multiple songs and then slowly faded away from them. That fun punk, play as fast as we want, sing as little as we want. Speed and more speed. Such great times.
Total fucking punk. A little to the wayside, but brings you right back. 100% on this one. Angst, speed, message, just fun.
Caught by surprise. This is where I should’ve started with him. Now I get why he was a big deal. Folksy, wonderful story telling. I can handle his voice on this one.
Too indie for me. No thanks.
Great energy. Will spin again. Punky, rocky sleazy.
Unavailable 😔
Background 70’s ccr vibe.
Give and take, give and take.
This was perfect on that rainy day. His voice got to me at times, but the vibe was definitely fit for rain
Super smooth hip hop. From front to back, social issues brought to the forefront. I am comfortable in saying that everything he touches on them is still an issue with society today in 2025. Sad how we haven’t changed as a society and his lyrics still ring true today. Have we not learned to accept one another as human?
Not my forte. Folksy I guess. Vocals are nice at times.
Meh, his past still gets me. Pass.
Didn’t sit through it. Classic rock vibe, maybe later.
Ginger Baker!! Yea. Done. Gimme all of it.
Rock and roll. Dad rock.
Pretty shnazzy. Understand why the name comes up a lot. Kept me interested, but I would sway off at times.
Unavailable. Sad.
You always hear so much about them, then you listen, then you move on. This is a definitely a keeper. The 70’s all summed up in one album.
Max back at it. Glad they re-recorded these albums. I stand with Sepultura is Max and Igor. The classic albums are just so heavy, you can feel what’s about to come. My neck hurts…..
Put it there. Mellow, angsty, 90’s all over. I can dig it.
Right before their big mainstream break. Poor Jason, those bass lines are killer. A great prog album, sure it’s heavy, but the music does tell a story. You see them branching out, but still holding on tight. Would’ve never seen what they had coming after this one.
Too worldly for me.
The music is there. Her voice though, dragged out. She seems like she was wanting to be the female version of Kurt. Great heavy grungy guitar and solid bass lines. The groove is there for the band.
Unavailable. 😔
Cmon!! Home grown boys from Texas.
Perfect soundtrack to life love the atmosphere the different directions each track takes.
80’s gal pal vibe. I can do her voice…at times. Very happy go lucky. I’m gonna give it to her though, she came in and dominated in her own special way.
I forget how much I enjoy his voice. The music is there and very American-y. He sings to you like a friend who cares.
Fell asleep to this and it did make a nice ear worm. Will have to listen to when I’m awake. His frantic vocals, the energy he exudes through the speakers.
Minus the misogyny of the day, this is a certified keeper. He burst on the scene with his own take on grooves and simple vocal rhythm. So much greatness in this one. The collaborations were amazing. The word play is there, the story telling is in your face, not as strong as NWA, but it’s there.
Poppy 60’s music. Everyone had this style going around. Great to listen to, love songs of course, although a lot of songs from them days teeter around being a tad bit creepy. The music is a great example o the pop charts.
Fucking aright meow. This one shocked me, all over punky, alternative, pop from left to right. Very catchy indeed. Will go into rotation.
Never seen the movie. This is definitely a soundtrack, the moods and stories are there. You can see the picture unfolding. Need to watch that movie.
Straight dirty rock and roll. It’s there, but not enough to be there. Still a solid album of the times.
Skip. Maybe later
Boom!! Adding. Very smooth and eccentric. Soul, I presume. Beautiful driving music.
Good stuff. Ahead and behind their time. A true Indy poppy album. Front to back was a good listen. Wish they would’ve stuck around a bit longer. Will have to give the other albums a spin.
What a different direction! I knew they had a few albums that were psychedelic to say the least, but when you influence the Beatles, where do you stop. This would’ve been the battle I would’ve love to see, not the stones vs Beatles. Brian Wilson with his catchy pop lines and musical ability to create a sonic scape of sound pleasing and terrifying to the listener. Are they started off as a go lucky California boy band, but they matured to new heights in their career.
Okie dokie artichoke. Not my type, but I’ve heard a few along the years. On a road trip maybe, in rotation, no. Catchy, but not my type of fish.
Love it. Life background music. Never gave them much thought, saw them open for weeper and it was a tad…there. This album builds the painting color by color.
Nice and sad. Mellow rainy day feel.
Bought this cd because of the cover. Teenage me was blown away. I found out about maiden through Cradle of Filth’s hallowed be thy name cover. Speed, acrobatics, thundering bass, booming drums and his voice. This opened the door to classic heavy metal for me. Obsessed with this one. None of their other albums will top this one for me.
Not my first intro to them, but as soon as Fairies kicked I knew it was over for me. Their self titled was perfect for teen me, but when I got my hands on this at KMart fuuuuuccckkkkk. Front to back, front to back. There was no stopping them at this point.
Nice world vibe. Bass lines come in groovy, catchy, head bobbin grooves. Voice is on point and goes with the style. I may have to venture into this genre a tad more.
80’s new wave. I get the hype now. Uppy and happy. Definitely makes you want to dance. I’ll venture into their catalog for sure. I now understand the club hype and gen x love for them.
