Lust For Life
Iggy PopGreat album!
Great album!
Liked it..cool vibe
Way over played.
Very solid album. Amazing that only 3 guys produced all that sound! The album plays like a collection of greatest hits.
This album is modern day classical music! Pure genius! The transitions within the songs tug at your emotions and have you yearning for the next note to be played. Every song is a masterpiece! Gilmour’s guitar is a master class in guitar playing! Entire album is just clean and flawless! How does a band follow up one of the greatest albums of time? They create Wish You Were Here! Arguably one the greatest albums of all time!
Really enjoyed this. First time hearing this album in its entirety. Can’t believe I missed this one when it came out 35 years ago! Love Q-tip….smooth!!!!
I enjoyed this album. 1st time hearing it. Definitely need to give this a few more listens. Felt the second half of the album was better than the first. Although listened the first half in the car, second half on the headphones…Album is not what expected. English angst! Giving a 3 as an initial rating…need to spend more time with this one for sure!
It was cool.. not what I expected. It works as a full album.
As the great philosopher CMills-STU once said “this album is a banger”! A new discovery for me! Beautifully crafted with many different types of music formed into a solid piece of work! This will be in my listening rotation!
Started off strong, but I lost interest bout half way through…
Not a winner for me…
Fairly decent album…1 time through is probably enough. More than likely the only time I’ll ever listen to it.
Solid stuff! Love a good artist that can write music that defines the issues within society and is pushing progress against the politicians that govern.
Mir hat dieses Album nicht gefallen.
I really liked this album!
Good Good!!! These guys just play good ol rock and roll!! Was surprised this came out in 73’! La Grange is one of my favorite songs just a toe tappin jam!
This is a staple for The Blue Oyster
Dude is a legend! Not necessarily something I would say I’m longing to hear…for his time and the culture he made this music he was cutting edge and pushing the boundaries of popular music and culture! The music is simplistic but yet great! Love the lyrics! This guy pushed forward change! Easy 5 stars!
Yes..Cash is a legend…but I feel like I just the heard the same album with Live at Folsom…blame the algorithm for the 2 stars on this one. Plus only 34 minutes long. Wouldn’t call this one of the greatest albums…
WTf!
Great pipes! Love this genre of music…
This one surprised me! I really enjoyed it! Album starts out guns a blazing..then takes a very nice turn and is quite different and dynamic throughout…Good listen! Need to go back and listen to more Pixies! Good stuff!
This is tough listen for me. Jeff Lynn is talented…. love him as a Wilbury! ELO falls into that REO Speed Wagon/ STYX era of music that that just doesn’t catch my ear. Thier sound is high and pitchy. That music is always FF for me. This album is a pass.
I’m in the chicken shack!!! Love it!
Don’t know how I have not listened to this album in its entirety…..Just fantastic rock and roll! It’s bluesy, jazzy, a bit of country just great music from the 1st song to the last! A total BANGER! Stones in the 70’s were firing on all cylinders…Will be one of my clutch albums to go to! A top 50 of all time for me!
What a challenge to get through. First and last time ever hearing this.
