I owned and listened to this album when it was first released so this entire listings like a blast from the past I'm very comforted. Since then Coldplay has gone on to be a whole lot more polished, but there is something so raw about this first album. I feel like there's moments that hit as musical genius especially between the harmonies and the instrumentations and his voice just hitting those high mournful notes and then there are moments that it misses and doesn't feel nearly as genius and I think that's part of what makes it feel so raw. My favorite track is don't panic, the first track.

I really enjoyed listening to this. What excellent songwriting, instrumentation, performance and producing: both on the harder and the ballad travks. This is one of my partner's favorite bands, however I haven't given them a very serious listen and really enjoyed this start to finish.

I don't personally care for Nirvana's sound, but I can respect them as artists and the role they played in music history. Enjoyed listening to this album from a historical perspective.

This album was way different than the beach boys that I know and took me a bit to get into, but by the end I had relaxed into it. Very much matured past the initial explosion of them into the mainstream. Some of it was ridiculous, some interesting. Favorite track: feel flows because of the flute solo, with honorable mention to surfs up because it's of its beautiful complexity.

David Bowie is already experimental leaning and this album is even less pop than some of his others. Interesting and im glad I listened to it, but not my cup of tea.

Paul McCartney is a great songwriter. Favorite track: mamunia for the round at the end

Didn't really vibe with this album. Did not finish listening to the whole thing.

Talking heads and never really been my favorite, I've never really cared for the hits they played on the radio. This album was okay. My favorite part was when the rhythm section got interesting. I found myself listening to that the most, don't really love David Byrne's voice though. Favorite track The Good Thing

I've never really loved Neil Young's voice, he has some nice Harmony in there and I get why he's a classic but it's just not my thing

Not my favorite but I can practically see the hip hop history dripping off this album. I do love the strong black woman. That takes a lot of determination to make it with so much stacked against her

I love the cinematic nature of her composing and how she Bridges several different genres and styles. What a creative artist and beautiful polished fun to listen to. What a treat!

Oh my surface level teen pop! And that girl can vocal fry like nobody's business!
