Born In The U.S.A. by Bruce Springsteen
Dec 11 2025

This album gave from a raging republican, ended up being from a progressive LGBTQ rights activist. Fun listen but maybe not my kind of music. Maybe if I'm a blue collar white man in my next life... Saved (3/12): - Cover Me - Downbound Train 🔥 - Bobby Jean

Dec 12 2025

Added the whole entire thing to my playlist. Love Oasis down <3. Definitely want to explore more music like this. Great listening experience

A Hard Day's Night by Beatles
Dec 13 2025

BORINGGGG...not bad music though. No soul, no passion, no aggression. Feel like I'm in a jive bar Saved (x/13) - And I Love Her (from the second she started she was different than the others...shes not like other girls)

Purple Rain by Prince
Dec 14 2025

I danced to a few of these songs so I already knew them.

Definitely Maybe by Oasis
Dec 15 2025

Too repetitive (DNF) Saved: Supersonic (didn't really feel like listening to the rest of the album after this song)

Boston by Boston
Dec 16 2025
Siamese Dream by The Smashing Pumpkins
Dec 17 2025

THIS IS REAL MUSICCC 🔥🔥 I partially listened to this in passing at work and thought it was repetitive like the other rock albums but gave it another go. Constant switch-ups, catchy, unique, alternative. No other album thus far has moved me like this one has. I can see the elements from recent music influenced by this that I like. Saved (5/13): - Quiet - Hummer - Disarm - Soma - Geek U.S.A. 🔥 (HM: Silverfuck - won't save but a great listening experience)

Butterfly by Mariah Carey
Dec 19 2025

The epitome of black 90s RnB, almost too much so for me…. I prefer alternative music (including rnb) also wasn’t feeling some of gospel type feel to some the songs but there’s no bad songs. Wouldn’t listen to this album again though. Saved (1/12): - I GIVE MY ALLLLL (already had this one saved) - The Beautiful ones - Fourth of July

Grace by Jeff Buckley
Dec 20 2025

No words….

Foo Fighters by Foo Fighters
Dec 21 2025

Didnt hate it…didn’t love it. Honestly expected more since I already know how good everlong is before going into this. Saved: None HM: Weenie Bernie, exhausted

Dec 27 2025

Didnt even finish the album, music like this set our people back 70 years single handedly. Unnecessarily violent and sexist. IMHO public enemy did a much better job touching this topic. The non-political songs are complete skips. Think they’re all weridos now as well.

Strange Cargo III by William Orbit
Dec 28 2025

This is not something I would sit and listen to. Yet, I did so and mildly enjoyed it . With that being said will never to it again. Expected a snooze fest, ended up being pretty engaged with the first couple of tracks “Water from a Vine Leaf” and “Into the Paradise”. Experiencing the different sounds feels like letting the music pass through my body and care-free movement. However, it soon progressed to the snooze fest I for-seed it being. Listening felt like a chore. Solid background, soundtrack music.

Debut by Björk
Dec 29 2025

A groovy electric funk with a side of hooting and hollering. There was some good moments within most of the songs. I appreciated the creativity, against the grain feel to Björk but I don't really feel strongly for any of the songs on here. Saved (2/11) - Crying - Venus as a Boy (Already knew and had saved) HM: (Both have some parts I really loved but don't care for the full song) - There's more to Life Than This - Live Version - Like Someone in Love

Stardust by Willie Nelson
Dec 30 2025

Clear breakaway from his classic country sound we heard in "Red Headed Stranger" earlier. A breakaway I greatly appreciate. So good, i knew there was really a black man behind this. The whole album is really covers of popular/standards which I found interesting. Thus, theres so many different versions and renditions of these songs by many great artists. you think these songs are good THEY GET BETTERRRRRR WHEN WE DOOO ITTTT

Ragged Glory by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Dec 31 2025

Crazy Horse is Great! Neil Young.... His vocals make me mad. No way this guy became famous sounding like this. I think these songs all had potential if not for him. Music was not interesting enough for me to want to hear the whole thing so I didn't. We've heard something along the lines of this before. I don't think i'm missing out. Also hate the country mix.

Pelican West by Haircut 100
Jan 01 2026

Now that's how you start an album. "Shouldn't be on the list" this, "shouldn't be on the list" that...JUST DANCEEEE. Groovy, light-hearted, and consistent. Considering the length of the album and the number of songs I was concerned if they would be able to keep up the momentum of this album throughout and boy was I wrong…until i wasnt. Second half of the album kind of fell off. This is the most fun I've had listening to an album from the list so far.

Bright Flight by Silver Jews
Jan 02 2026

Liking the dark kind of heavier sound of "Time Will Break the World" Not sure if the singer's voice is selling it to me though. Saved (4/10): - Time Will Break the World - Horseleg Swastikas - Transylvania Blues - Tennessee

Brothers by The Black Keys
Jan 03 2026

Holy ad music. saved (1/15): - Never Gonna Give You Up

Home Is Where The Music Is by Hugh Masekela
Jan 08 2026

I am in awe of how talented he was. This is something I would love to have playing in my apartment at all times. I would have to be in a very specific mood to intentionally listen to this though. Instrumentals aren't really for me. I can still greatly appreciate the artistry.

The Doors by The Doors
Jan 10 2026

Liked it more than some others so far, didn't love it though.

Want Two by Rufus Wainwright
Jan 11 2026

I don't know how it feels to be so loud and wrong that I don't think this album is great. Especially comparing it to the absolute shit that is on this list. Discount Thom Yorke? maybe. But if it sounds like this i'll take it. Only critique is the medieval festival moments..why?

Jan 13 2026

I knew Queen played. Still don't understand the cult obsession with Bohemian Rhapsody. Feels like music from theater. This is for fans of hamilton (derogatory).

Parachutes by Coldplay
Jan 16 2026

The fall off is insane, didn't know coldplay made music like this Sparks I already knew and is still the best song on here. Yellow a little overplayed.

Live And Dangerous by Thin Lizzy
Jan 17 2026

continuing my trend of liking classic rock music less and less from this list

Searching For The Young Soul Rebels by Dexys Midnight Runners
Jan 18 2026

The vocals ruined all of this for me...he cannot be serious. More soul music from white men with not a real ounce of soul. Had some groovy moments when he decided to spare us.

Lost Souls by Doves
Jan 22 2026

The worst part of this album was it ending. this reminded me why I started this list, gems like this. I don't know how I never heard of this band before but I can't wait to explore more of their music.

GI by Germs
Jan 30 2026
Queen II by Queen
Feb 02 2026

When will I be free

Private Dancer by Tina Turner
Feb 03 2026

NOTE: Only listened to tracks from the original edition. Queen of Rock N' Roll. Think this was one of the few Rock N' Roll albums I enjoyed. Even though all the songs were solid I saved: - Show some respect - Let's stay together - Private dancer - 1984

Fragile by Yes
Feb 04 2026

Loveee the breakdown in Roundabout but way too long for no reason. didn't really care for the instrumentals except for Heart of the Sunrise.

Group Sex by Circle Jerks
Feb 05 2026

i mean its punk

Dusty In Memphis by Dusty Springfield
Feb 06 2026

she might not want to hear it anymore but i surely do. idk why son of a preacher man was so popular with the amount of songs on here that outshine it by miles. saved (5/10) - I dont want to hear it anymore - Just one smile - The windmills of your mind - In the land of make believe - No easy way down

Pretzel Logic by Steely Dan
Feb 07 2026

This was a solid album. A little disappointed in some of the musical choices they made, would’ve made this even better. Feels like they went a kind of generic route. Especially night by night.

Black Metal by Venom
Feb 09 2026

Boring and repetitive

Doggystyle by Snoop Dogg
Feb 10 2026

Sounds fine, won't be listening again though - Saved (0)

Brutal Youth by Elvis Costello
Feb 12 2026

Thought this was a solid album. Pleasantly surprised. Saved (6/15): - Clown Strike - You Tripped at Every Step - 20% Amnesia - London's Brilliant Parade - Rocking Horse Road - All the Rage

Music for the Masses by Depeche Mode
Feb 21 2026

Not really sure where this album went at the end but the first half or so is solid. Saved (4) - The Things You said - Strangelove - Little 15 - Behind the Wheel - To Have and To Hold

Kid A by Radiohead
Feb 23 2026
Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
Feb 24 2026
I Against I by Bad Brains
Feb 25 2026

A big fan of self-titled, think its cool how this album has a different sound. Bad brains has yet to disappoint.

Heaux Tales by Jazmine Sullivan
Mar 02 2026

doesn't even sound good enough to make up for these bird brain corny lyrics. especially knowing this album was picked over an album like fearless?? madness Girl Like Me wasnt bad

Morrison Hotel by The Doors
Mar 03 2026

did not move me. blue sunday was my favorite song though.

Horses by Patti Smith
Mar 16 2026
Berlin by Lou Reed
Mar 19 2026

The concept album is interesting. The album has a haunting sound to it but the middle of the album was lost on me sonically. His deep and sort of monotone singing voice fits well for some songs and kind of clashes with others. I was a big fan of Lady Day.

Elastica by Elastica
Mar 20 2026

Nothing bad to say about this album. It has some great sounds especially S.O.F.T. and one of the albums most aligned with my taste. However, there's nothing I really loved about the album either and probably wouldn't return for another listen. Maybe it'll grow on me...

Armed Forces by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Mar 22 2026

not good enough to excuse the random and unnecessary drop of the N word.

Chris by Christine and the Queens
Mar 23 2026

its not that is bad, its just not good...a safe album, palatable, but ultimately flat, uninteresting, and generic. I can appreciate the topics uncovered in this album.

Live At Leeds by The Who
Mar 24 2026

classic rock evokes the same feeling as country music does for me, this does nothing for me though not bad music, seems like it was a great show live. this objectively a great live performance

Made In Japan by Deep Purple
May 22 2026

Hootin with a side (or 50) of hollerin but not in a completely bad way. Great live performance but not my cup of tea, DNF

Paranoid by Black Sabbath
May 23 2026

unmoved.

Fuzzy by Grant Lee Buffalo
May 24 2026

Feels like the kind of album that would grow on me if I listened to it a few more times staring off strong with The Shining Hour. I’m not the biggest fan of country music but whether it’s the heavier rock influence or the melancholy feel of it this song really did it for me.

Shalimar by Rahul Dev Burman
May 25 2026

I appreciate listening to music using keys not common in western music. this was a nice listen but probably wont be returning. Qurbani still holds my top spot for indian soundtracks

Bryter Layter by Nick Drake
May 26 2026

pleasantly surprised. ended up listening to this one twice. simple yet touching

Truth And Soul by Fishbone
May 27 2026

love a good genre fusion, the soul elements are what keep this album interesting

Violator by Depeche Mode
May 30 2026

Didn’t enjoy as much as music for the masses but I still love the electronic but kind of dark themes on their music

Reggatta De Blanc by The Police
May 31 2026

Definitely have to re-listen but this album started off with a banger with Message in a Bottle. Each musical decision made scratched my brain just the right way.

Country Life by Roxy Music
Jun 01 2026

reminded me of berlin by Lou Reed so i guess I know what art rock is now. The Thrill of it is a banger

Metallica by Metallica
Jun 02 2026

holy dad rock. Wherever I May Roam is one of my favorite songs period god bless

Ray Of Light by Madonna
Jun 03 2026

sorry for doubting you madonna, didn't even know she made trip hop

Elephant by The White Stripes
Jun 07 2026
At Fillmore East by The Allman Brothers Band
Jun 09 2026

boring and uninspiring

Iron Maiden by Iron Maiden
Jun 11 2026

forced to sit through another 80s heavy metal album. wasn't made at Remember Tomorrow at all. A different sound form what I expected and even though i wasn't totally in love with it, it was nice to have a surprise. Everything else was exactly how I expected. It all runs together. These riffs do absolutely nothing for me

Out Of The Blue by Electric Light Orchestra
Jun 13 2026

The instrumental pre-chorus of Across the Border 🤰 MR BLUE SKYYY. Its always unfortunate to listen to album a disgustingly famous song is on just for the rest of the album to be let down. This is definitely not the case for Out of the Blue. Plenty of other tracks on this album are even better.

B-52's by The B-52's
Jun 16 2026

fun, funky, fresh

Blonde On Blonde by Bob Dylan
Jun 17 2026

his voice is absolutely grating to sit and listen to. It's a mix between talk singing and cursive.

Arular by M.I.A.
Jun 18 2026

noise pollution

Dust by Screaming Trees
Jun 21 2026
Imagine by John Lennon
Jun 22 2026
The Band by The Band
Jun 23 2026

I think this album is decent for what it is. However, this genre in general does little for me. Bland and pretty unsurprising. The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down is a nice tune but yet still don't want to hear it again after this.

Nevermind by Nirvana
Jun 24 2026

Didn't enjoy as much as in utero but still a solid album. I find Nirvana has some unique qualities that separate them from some of the other cult favorite bands that has been generated for me so far.

Music Has The Right To Children by Boards of Canada
Jun 25 2026

great background music. would forget I even had it on. not a fan of ambient music but if I were to listen, it would be this.

The Message by Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five
Jun 26 2026

feels like i just stumbled upon ancient artifacts. Either a high 3 or a low 4.

At San Quentin by Johnny Cash
Jun 30 2026

I could feel the energy at this concert just through the recording.

Treasure by Cocteau Twins
Jul 01 2026

I was just listening to this last night...
