Best Fleetwood Mac album with their best song (You Make Loving Fun), the whole album is banger after banger. Makes me want to wear some enormous sleeves and twirl around
Very far out of my music comfort zone, it makes me wanna dance at a club in the 90s but also that lowkey sounds like a nightmare
Saw that it was indie rock and got excited, forgot that most male indie rock musicians are terrible singers. Cool instrumentation and lots of good guitar moments but I can’t rate higher than a 3 cuz dude was obnoxious
Basically Sgt Pepper if it was a little less exciting. Still a solid psychedelic rock album, felt like an alternate universe Beatles.
Fav: The Journey
Least fav: Baron Saturday
Really fantastic R&B album & super impressive vocals but sometimes her runs felt so excessive, I know that’s typical of the genre but dang girl!! Anyway not many complaints here
Fav: Ex-Factor
Spencer said I would rate it one less star than him and he was right on the money. Mid ass new wave
Turns out I really like Latin rock
Could not understand a word he said, would not have liked it even if I did. Greasy ass music made by greasy ass people
I really want to like David Bowie‘s music, I just need to get over his strange voice. Plus, the ambient music in this album was weird as hell
All the songs on this album sounded the same. It was a good sound, but I didn’t need to hear it for 33 minutes straight
Two and a half hours of music, you must be joking (the five songs I listened to were good tho)
Most songs kinda sound the same, like a soundtrack to an early 2000s computer game. But surprisingly, I kinda fucked with it
Very pleasant, I love this type of music.
Fav: Goodbye Baby
Some of the lyrics were INSANE but 90s alt rock is my weakness
Perfectly fine music, nothing especially exciting
Fleetwood Mac is a fantastic band that makes consistently solid music, it’s no Rumors but it’s still full of quality tunes
Literally laughed out loud at how ridiculous she sounded at times. I would’ve enjoyed this much more if she didn’t sing at all, the instrumentals sounded great tho
Had to put myself in the shoes of a teen in the early 2000s and I could see how this would hit back then, but obviously not my taste now
If I ignore how obnoxious his voice was, I actually had a bit of fun listening to this
Don’t usually like 80s synth pop but it was fun! Probably wouldn’t return to it but glad I listened
Just hooting and hollering, buncha noise for no reason. Only reason why this isn’t a 1/5 is bc #girlpower
Had it on in the background while I cooked and it made the vibe infinitely better
This rock was a little too hard for me
I always love when artists use a wide variety of instruments in their music, and the strings, horns, keys, and quirky electronic bits made this such a fun listen. Even some of the more experimental and weird songs were still interesting. Super ridiculous song titles but somehow still charming. Eclectic, melancholy, and beautiful
4.5/5 but I’ll round up because Spencer loves this album
Really tried to like it, some of the songs were fun but i just couldn’t get into it. Too glorpy perhaps
Surprisingly into this! Not gonna say it was super impressive or exciting, but I would’ve gotten down to this in the 80s
Cheesy 80s rock, but I’m into the cheese
Obviously great music even if reggae isn’t my usual jam. A little more annoying to listen to when I’m sober
Listened to this while sitting in traffic, lowkey just pissed me off more
I’d be really enjoying the intro, then the singer starts yelling again and I’d have to fight to not skip to the next song. 3/5 bc I liked these instrumentals more than Lorde
Definitely better on the second listen. Sounded like it belonged on a 90s coming of age movie soundtrack
Super fun, but minus one point because no song needs to be 12+ minutes long, let along every song on the album
Got a bad headache in the middle of listening, but despite it causing me genuine pain this album’s still great. An angrier, more dramatic Norah Jones
I’m not sure Alex Turner’s voice is for me, mans is just so fookin british
Bowie’s shit has always been too weird for me, but something about this album (except the first two songs) resonated with me. A lot of hauntingly beautiful instrumentals and effects used, plus I teared up at the last song. Maybe I get it now
Nothing especially terrible, nothing especially impressive. Nice that the album was only 35 minutes
Fun as fuck, I’m not hitting salsa music very often and clearly I’m missing out
A lot less abrasive than I was expecting, definitely kept me awake on my drive to work this morning. High 3
Yeah obviously it’s iconic, but two Metallica albums in one week, both listened to before 8 am, means I’m kinda burned out on thrash metal
