Favorite Song: Candela
Very nice to listen to, I loved all the Latin aspects of this album as well as the repetitiveness that never felt boring.
8/10
Great Christmas album, great feels
Very funky feeling album and an enjoyable listen overall. Great baseline vocals and overall feel. 8/10
Favorite Song: Chic Cheer
Very innovative album to say the least especially in the metal scene. Great riffs vocals and solo sections. 8/10
Favorite Song: Rat Salad
Soulful vocals with a lot of depth and emotion. Also liked the keyboard throughout the album with it really hitting in Chest Fever. Overall decent album but not for me. 4/10. Favorite Song: Chest Fever
7.5/10
Favorite Song: Station to Station
Very great album structure and with only 6 songs it still felt like an adventure and was a great listen. Great premier and finisher.
Very distinct rock album with a lot of great aspects. Deep vocals, well written and played solos and great album structure.
Favorite Song: Little Wing
7.5/10
Nice rock album with a lot of elements going into it that felt different and new in every song. The banjo accents in some of the songs as well as great drum parts and bright basslines that kept me entertained while listening.
It was really the vocals that were the reason I didn't like this album and made it really hard to get into. But I was fond of some of the instrumental elements like some of the synths and keyboards and hornlines but overall still not enjoyable to listen to. 2/10
Favorite Song: Leopard and Lamb
Great listen even with 4 songs it feels like a ethereal experience and an album that had a feeling like no other. Magical vocals that I'm still trying to interpret and the composition of all the instruments was also done well, and those drums towards the end of Bel Air led to a great closure. Overall very great album and listen. 9.5/10
Favorite Song: Bel Air
Nice rock album with some jazzy elements in there that worked really well. Well done instrumentation and well written solo sections led to a nice listen. 8/10
Favorite Song: Aja
Have yet to listen to an album of theirs after only listening to West End Girls but to no surprise it's pretty good. Lots of great feels and feels very 80s. Great vocals and love those basslines. 6/10. Favorite Song: One More Chance
Will have to revisit this album later ok but for now I liked some of the vocals and great guitar work but it just felt redundant after a few songs except when it got lively again. 4/10. favorite Song: Atlantic City
Nice pop album to listen to with a lot of great things going on instrumentation wise. Sounds very 80s with the drums and the synths. Liked Bush's vocal projection and unique sound but sometimes it felt like a little too much. 6.5/10z Favorite Song: The Big Sky
Very nice almost experimental sounding rock album. Loved the guitar work and especially the bass work, made it all sound complex but still in agreement . The vocals were also very dreamy and mixed well. 9/10, Favorite Song: Into The Light.
A lot of soul in here and great instrumentation all throughout. Vocals were also great.
6/10, Favorite Song: Funky Music Sho Nuff Turns Me On
Felt like punk, felt like blues, and kept the energy up all throughout the album. Got a lot of Dead Kennedy's vibes from this album especially from guitars, vocals, and that punk sound. 8.5/10, Favorite Song: R.L. Got Soul.
Very feel good album most likely because it was soul and because Marvin Gaye's voice is just so smooth. Even when his vocals had a little growl and then they still flowed well with the tracks. Saxophone addition was also a nice touch all throughout. 6.5/10, Favorite Song: You Sure Love To Ball
Punky, chaotic, and weird. Has a lot of experimental aspects but is a very energetic album with angsty vocals. Love the call and response in some of the songs and works great to give that energetic feel. 7/10, Favorite Song: Modern Dance
Slow, peaceful but still very interesting. Lots of elements being implemented especially in the instrumentation where every instrument gets a chance to shine. Vocals also did a great job to add that calm, but psychedelic feel. 6.5/10, Favorite Song: Buzzin' Fly
Not much going on in this album really. Vocals are great and I love almost everything about them but although the melodies are nice, they got repetitive throughout the album. I liked the live atmosphere and lyricism about the Folsom Prison but sonically I had mild enjoyment. 4/10, Favorite Song: Cocaine Blues
Absolutely loved her voice all throughout the album. How it can be so gentle but also powerful and the way she projects her voice is just so beautiful. I also loved the instrumental elements and they really enhanced her voice and gave the music color. 9/10, Favorite Song: Once It Was Alright Now
Lots of great musical ideas happening in this album. From bright melodies to melancholic feels it's a nice journey to go through. The vocals were hit or miss at times but when they did, it added a wistful element to the track. 6.5/10, favorite song: Monty Got A Raw Deal
Loved all the instrumentation in this album and the way it was orchestrated made every song feel different. Vocals were diverse in sound but also very interesting as they dragged beyond the rhythm of the song sometimes. 6/10, Favorite Song: Sunday
Honestly this was a great album with a lot of great musical ideas happening. First of all the dreamy vocals which initially I didn't like but they work so well with the dreamy, alternative vibe of the music that I can't imagine the album without them. The vast range in melodies and feels of this album are also a great part of it. 8/10, Favorite Song: Feel Flows
Just a great musical journey all throughout. Vocals were full but soft, calm, and worked well with the other musical ideas in the album. There was a little too much interludes but in the grand scheme of the album it makes sense and works well with it. Would recommend. 8.5/10, Favorite Song: Escapade
Jazzy, colorful, and vibrant. This was a fun but also very interesting album to listen to. The composition is insanely well written keeping each track entertaining. I also loved the repetitive aspects in the songs. 8.5/10, Favorite Song: Duete solo dancers
Classic hip-hop album. Love the story telling but Kanye also has great flow. All of the songs flowed incredibly well and I absolutely loved the production. Just a nice album to listen to and digest. 8/10, Favorite Song: Spaceship
Not a bad album at all and it was nice to listen to but many of the songs just weren't hitting. Vocals were nice and I love Adams' range and differentiation in his voice which added a lot of flair to the songs. 4/10, Favorite song: Tina Toledo's Street Walking blues'
Energetic, punky, and lowkey chaotic. Vocals were good and I loved the repetitiveness of the riffs in many of the songs. Absolutely loved the basslines and that deep strong bass sound added a lot to the tracks. 6.5/10, Favorite Song: Moving away from the pulsebeat
Definitely a huge spacey vibe in this one and also love how its a live album. I thought 2 hours would be grueling for an album but it was incredibly immersive and just great to listen and vibe to. Lots of interesting elements in it and even has an ominous element to it that I enjoyed. 8/10, Favorite Song: Brainstorm
Great vibes from this album and its just something nice to listen to and enjoy. Sinatra's voice is also very warm enhancing that mellow vibe. 6/10, Favorite song: You brought a new kind of love to me
Nice hip-hop album with great flows, good beats and some really soulful samples. I too would choose dinner with Jay-Z. 5.5/10, Favorite Song: Song Cry
Energetic, experimental, and phenomenal keyboard playing. This album was a treat to listen to. It was lively but also a but ominous at times but I still loved the shift between those dynamics and made the listening experience special. Also the fact that it was live and transitioned so beautifully.
9/10, Favorite Song: Blues Variation
Took a little bit to get into this album but after a couple listens it is a great, soulful, groovy, and really in depth album. It has a lot of interesting elements that are questionable at first but they add a lot to the tracks and the album as a whole. Amazing production and instrumentation. 7.5/10, Favorite Song: Cowboys
Very indie feeling album with dreamy vibes but a lot of warmth in the tracks. Some great riffs in here and hazy vocals that have really great synergy with the overall instrumentation. 7/10, Favorite Song: While You Wait For The Others
Absolutely love the vocal dynamics and vocal power in Springsteen's voice. It adds a lot of depth and emotion to the already sentimental and gentle tracks. Even with some of the rowdier tracks, the way Springsteen can shift his vocals to fit the vibe adds a lot of vibrance to the album. 6/10, Favorite Song: Something in the Night
Not a terrible album but it felt kind of boring and sort of basic. There were some great tracks in here those being some of the longer ones and I liked the great detail and riffs those had but other than that pretty stale album for me. 5/10, Favorite Song: Ramble Tamble
Classic heavy metal and very well written guitar parts and solo riffs and melodies. It was a bit boring at times but overall it was still an enjoyable listen and I can tell even with just this album how much influence Black Sabbath has had on metal. 7/10, Favorite song: Black Sabbath
Nice listening experience, lots of thought put into it and some great guitar writing. 6.5/10, Favorite Song: Underture
Very rich and soulful album, and it was overall just nice to listen to and digest all the great warm melodic feels. Vocals were great and had diversity and I just had a great time listening. 7.5/10, Favorite song: That Lady
While I enjoyed the guitar work and somewhat enjoyed the vocals I personally didn't find much else in this album. But I definitely do see some great elements in here that form this beautifully arranged and sort of sentimental album. 4.5/10, Favorite Song: Crazy Love
Fun, upbeat rock album. Really can't go wrong with this one. 6.5/10, Favorite Song: Rip This Joint
Poppy, catchy, groovy, and funky, lots of great hits on here and as an album it was still enjoyable. 8/10, Favorite Song: Billie Jean
The great riffs, catchy melodies and overall punkiness of this album made an enjoyable and energetic listen. The album carries this tension sort of that you really feel gets released at the end and allows for a nice climactic ending. It's just a tad bit redundant. 7.5/10, Favorite Song: Frankenstein
Beautiful vocals and melodies all around. Excellent instrumentation, and dynamically written guitar and bass that really brought that alternative, melancholic but energetic feel. 8.5/10, Favorite Song: Barbarism Begins at Home
Great riffs and melodies with some nice vocals added to the mix but I felt they didn't add much and the build up to the showing up in the first song was great just for them to lack. Overall still a nice prog rock album to digest. 6/10, Favorite Song: Yours is No Disgrace
Sonically it's like really below average with repetitive bland riffs although some were pretty good and added some dynamic to the album. Vocals were also not the best and felt forced, but I can appreciate Manson's vocal dynamics. Writing was overall bad and overly edgy and trying to be different and cause shock. Wasn't enjoyable. 1.5/10, Favorite Song: The Beautiful People
Great vibes coming from this album and honestly great synergy and sound coming from the band. Also loved all the other instrumental elements either being strings or some winds in there really added to the album's dynamic. 6.5/10, Favorite Song: When I'm Sixty Four
Incredible jazz album with a lot of great solo sections and written melodies. Loved the numerous ideas introduced in here, solid horns and winds and overall just great to listen to everything come together and create a beautiful soundscape. 7/10, Favorite Song: Mandela
Radiohead just has a lot of great musical ideas in this album and I love the way they're brought out either through any of the instruments or just the vocals. As an album it's a great listening adventure from start to finish. Great band chemistry overall. Favorite Song: Jigsaw Falling Into Place. 7.5/10
Never been a huge reggae fan and this album didn't really change that view of mine. Still not a bad album and I can definitely see why some people would like it because as a reggae album its got a lot of those elements rooted deep into the tracks and brought out really well. Not for me though. Favorite Song: No Sympathy. 4/10
Classic Billy Joel album and has a lot of great writing and composition. Loved all the different instruments and how theyre brought flowed so well and how they supported and complimented Joel's vocals really well. Nice and refreshing listen overall. Favorite Song: Everybody Has A Dream. 8/10
Psychedelic and a very atmospheric listen. Loved the dynamic in songs with some being slow, sentimental and imaginative, and others being more fast paced but still having a lot of color. Favorite Song: E-Musik, 8/10
If I were to say anything about this album it would be that it is very creative. There are a lot of tracks that introduce you to how this band makes its music and I loved all the musical ideas and choices made. Favorite Song: White Light/White Heat. 6/10
Ive bashed AC/DC in the past mainly because the drumming sounds the same and can get boring but after listening to this album, those drums along with the great guitar riffs and writing and the vocals make this entire band unique and revolutionary in a way. Sure their sound may be repetitive but it makes the great riffs and vocals shine that much more. Favorite Song: Shoot To Thrill. 7/10
I really felt like there wasn't much going on in this album even with 12 tracks in under 30 minutes. I liked the instrumental aspects and punky sound but other than that it felt bland and colorless listening to it. Favorite Song: Boss Hoss. 4.5/10
Not a bad album but it did feel repetitive and rough in a lot of parts. 4.5/10, Favorite Song: Something 4 the Weekend
I liked a lot of things about this album, the vocals, drums, and the bass. I loved how they all had their own highlights throughout the songs and were very consistent. I did feel like the album dragged on a LOT and was honestly more of a chore to listen to but nonetheless I still enjoyed it to a degree. 6/10, Favorite Song: Visionary
Great listening journey overall. I loved the vocals and the raw emotion that you can feel in almost all the tracks. The rock elements also complement her voice very well but the acoustic moments still provide a great dynamic. 8/10, Favorite Song: Forgiven
As much as I liked the instrumentation, especially the keys, I could not stand Waits vocals. They had emotion but honestly it was too much and was really ruining the tracks in my opinion. But I still think it was a nicely composed album nonetheless. 2/10, Favorite Song: In Shades
Not what I was expecting from this album but after giving it some listens it is a greatly composed and compiled album with groovy electronic elements and a great structure all throughout. Love the sampling in this one too and is one of my favorite aspects of electronic music when listening to it. 9/10, Favorite Song: Destroy Rock and Roll
