Very chill, mellow vibes. Some songs are super beautiful, others are a bit abstract. It isn’t my favorite but don’t dislike it. It’s pretty good for what it is, 3-3.5/5
Full disclosure, I knew some songs off this album before listening to it. Mainly, America and Mrs. Robinson. I’ve gained a new appreciation the album and for Simon & Garfunkel. I’ve always liked their music and folk as a genre but this album is joyful & beautiful. It was amazing albeit short. 5/5 for me.
Really good album! Heavy than expected to be honest. Had elements that felt very punk rock, White Blood Cells felt very raw and in your face. I knew the popular/mainstream songs off this album but I genuinely enjoyed every track. 5/5 stars!
Full disclosure I had listened to this full album before many times when I was younger. I was a huge Lennon fan and after listening to it again the album holds up to what I remember. It starts off amazing with Imagine and bought me back with amazing tracks like How Do You Sleep, How?, Jealous Guy…etc. It’s Lennon’s most well known album for a reason. A beautiful album, although I would say it needs another remaster soon. The vocals on some tracks are fainter than the instruments. Overall a wonderful album, 5/5!
I’m all for free form music and hearing the musicians feel it out while playing. Jamming essentially but this album was really hard for me to get into to. I’m all for jamming but lack of words, song length and not being the biggest jazz fan felt like it contributed to my rating/lack of interest. I listened to the entire album and my conclusion is that, this album is meant for massive jazz fans, it didn’t feel like a casual listen. Musically the album isn’t bad at all, just not my thing.
I am not a Taylor Swift fan at all, I’m more in the category of those who dislike her. With that being said, the album is fine. There are big tracks that I’ve heard on the radio before today. I wouldn’t go out of my way to listen to this album again but it wasn’t the worst experience in the world
Album was a great listen, I already knew songs like Power & Runaway but overall it was a solid album. It had great features, some greats songs, overall I liked it. Pretty straightforward
The album is amazing, never thought I’d enjoy the album as much as I did. Tina’s voice is sublime, her covers of Let’s Stay Together and Help! are some of the best I’ve ever heard. Plus the album had hits like Better Be Good To Me and What’s Love Got To Do With It that I already knew. I’m glad I listened to it
Graceland was a perfectly fine album, I enjoyed most of the tracks. I like Simon & Garfunkel so I figured I’d enjoy this album but it was a lot different in sound than them as a group. Nothing particularly jumped out at me but I did like it.
Album was a wonderful listen, never really listened to Fleetwood Mac as much so Tusk was really cool! I really liked the varying song selection, a very nice balance of slower ballad type songs along with fast/riff heavy rock. I’d listen to it again!
Album was amazing! It was extremely easy to listen, some of the songs were long in length but didn’t feel that way. Isaac Hayes’ voice was superb. I’d different listen to the album again and it’s my favorite album from this generator so far
Album was really good. I had already heard the hits off this album growing up! I really like how the entire album blended together into one big song. Marvin’s voice is majestic as always.
Simply put the album is beautiful, Jeff’s voice is beautiful and executes pain and beauty perfect. It’s an emotional album where you can almost feel what Jeff was going through when recording it. I’m in awe honestly.
Album was fine, it ever really caught my attention honestly. At times it reminded me of elevator music, at other times it was nice listening.
I have heard this album many times before and it was nice to listen to it again. In my opinion this album is a masterpiece, I love every part and song. I love how all the songs blend and bleed together. The vocals and arrangement. It has obvious classics like Money and Time but Us and Them is one of my favorite songs ever. It’s absolutely beautiful and I’ll always enjoy this album!
Album was pretty cool, 90s hip hop vibes. Nothing really much to say otherwise, I enjoyed a lot of the songs but none really stuck out to me honestly. I’d listen to the album again though, I think it’s an album you’ll appreciate more after multiple listens
Album is pretty cool, the singer has a really nice voice. I see how this would’ve been influential at the time, other than that I don’t have much to comment. Just a solid album that was enjoyable
Raw Power was pretty awesome album! It’s literally in the name, it’s pure raw power. Early punk, rock & roll and elements of blues wrap up into one. Iggy Pop has a presence even on record, great album!
Pretty crazy great album, it was unexpected honestly. Very electronic, industrial vibes, it’s a sign of the times because it sounds very 90s but I had never heard of the band or any songs before. I really enjoyed it!
This was a pretty good album, I already knew Pt. 1 of the title track going in. Really good indie/psychedelic vibes. Found a new song that I like in Do You Realize. Solid album that I liked about as much as I thought I would
Album was fine for what it was. I didn’t love all of it but some songs like Hurt and Closet were good. I liked that some felt like it blended together but other parts of the album felt like just noise
Album is typical of what you would expect of Elvis. His cover of fever was pretty good, heard some Elvis songs I’ve never heard before. Had that classic Elvis sounds! It was a nice album, albeit short.
Venom’s Black Metal was one of the pioneering albums and sounds of the Black Metal genre. I had listened to Venom before and knew some of their discography, this album is pure aggression and an amazing album. It’s raw, in your face, fast paced with dark themes and imagery! I’d 100% listen to again, it’s an extremely influential album in the realms of thrash, black and heavy metal
Album is pretty solid, early reggae on reggae. Didn’t know anything about the album going in but it was enjoyable.
This album was the most fun album I’ve listen to in a really long time. It’s a bundle of energy, excitement, it pretty much felt like a rock opera. Meatloaf’s voice is powerful and amazing. Bat out of hell was fun and I want to look into if they made it into a musical.
Album was fine, sounded very reminiscent of the time. I liked a good amount of songs off the album
Album was pretty cool musically. It very heavy/hard rock at points. Felt jam bandy at times. It was an interesting album!
Marshall Mathers LP was a great album, I remember listening to it with my brother when I was a kid. Some of it didn’t age well at all but overall it has some of Eminem’s biggest hits. Eminem has a very unique style of rap and the album is very much a sign of the times but it was a nice listen.
Album is great, its beats, rhyme and lyrical content hold well. It has awesome tracks like bring the noise, louder than a bomb and night of the living baseheads. I’d 100% listen to it again, a timeless experience
This album was an interesting listen, it felt different and fresh. I was surprised to find out it was made in the 90s. I couldn’t understand any of the words but it was still a great listen!
Great simple short album. Super folk rock from the 60s, I enjoyed the album and its song that very jam rock-ish
Classic hip hop album that’s universally loved for a reason. It has hits, slow songs, straight hip hop, it has everything. I enjoyed listening to album, especially the classroom conversation element in the first half of the album
This was a strange listening experience since it was a movie soundtrack to a movie I’ve never seen. It wasn’t too bad though, first Bollywood soundtrack I’ve ever heard
