Not my vibe, sorry.
You could get lost in this quite easily, it had a lot going for it. I enjoyed it.
People rate this, but I think it's their weakest post-Pepper album.
It's just a great record. It was a sign of more greatness to come from him.
It had some good moments but overall was too drawn out and up its own arse.
The hits are undeniable. The rest.... it ain't great.
Some good moments in this, Cities and Life During Wartime in particular, but also it does just ramble on a bit, and I don't rate David Byrne as a singer.
Will I ever really like Led Zeppelin? I don't think so. This got better as it went along but I can't say I'll ever listen to it again.
This band could have been so much more. This record is great, so many layers to it.
The reason I loved this record so much when it first came out was that it was essentially a compilation of all their previous releases. At the time, I was longing to find a band I'd never heard of that had a rich back catalogue that I could explore, and The Hives were that band, and this was that record.
A nice listen, not sure why Spotify has Respect on it twice, but it's not unwelcome.
A formative listen for the younger David Macnamara, and I reckon it'll also be one for my 10-year-old son too, which is somewhat troubling.
Nah, can't be having this on my algo.
One of the best rap records from the start of the century
Some interesting bits to this but it all sort of went over my head.
Top 5 best Irish records, easily. Probably Top 3, if we're being honest.
Musically, it was quite exciting. Vocally, it was unenjoyable.
A surprisingly high number of bangers in here.
This is the quintessential Billy Bragg record.
Listened to this many years ago and never got into it.
It chuggs along but it also floats along. It's really great.
It had some promise really lacks anything that massively captured my attention.
Solid record, I enjoyed it
Starts out promising, as if someone had just discovered a new music toy, but as it progresses, it sort of becomes a bit repetitive.
Willie Nelson, live from the cocktail lounge!
A few hits of note, but not my cup of tea.
I find this quite boring and dated.
Lot of music going on here, probably too much if we're being honest.
One of those records that just fills your room with nice music and you can let it ease over you.
It's not my favourite Stones record, but I think its the record that most defines the band.
The peaks are great, the troughs are pretty unremarkable.
A good entry point for CCR, it was interesting.
Just fucking boring, non-descript 80s music.
What a way to open a record!
This is a classic, one to go back to time and again.
It got better towards the end, but I didn't love it.
I'm with Nick Cave on this one, RHCP are shit.
I remember when this came out, and I liked it, and it's a deeply shameful period of my life that I wholly regret.
Even paid actual cash to see them live on more than one occasion!
Beautiful record. Shame he's a wrong'un.
I know this is good, I just can't love it as much as I loved OK Computer.
I remember when it came out, it was so innovative, everything about it was just like...."this is what the future could be..." but I just wasn't ready for it.
Or want to be ready for it.
Fairly unremarkable.
Not for me.
Some classics in there, but also, it could be 3-4 songs shorter, and no one would be too upset.
I wanted this to be a bit darker, more atmospheric. It was good, but lacked a little bit of something special.
Not my favourite DiV album
Infinitely better than the film, which is shite.
A joyous record.
I found this surprisingly enjoyable.
Not for me.
Never really appreicated Fugazi, always assumed their were one of those bands that I just wouldn't like, but this was a lot more polished that I was expecting.
A great record, if I could, I'd give it a 6.
You could see where they were going with this. It gets really good towards the end.
Some nice moments to this, but it started off with more promise which wasn't really sustained through out the rest of the album.
I think this was the first Bruce Springsteen album I really got into.
Stupid riffs, but you can't deny them!
Htis are great, the rest is a bit filler-y.
There She Goes, My Beautiful World is hands down one of the best songs ever written.
Reminded me of the James Lavelle UNKLE record, which I loved.
Boy, that n-word really stands out!
Solid record, I enjoyed it. Reminded me of a really good record called Kontiki by a band called Cotton Mather that I listened to a lot back in the 2000s.
Boring, IMO
Nope, not for me.
My 2nd favourite SFA album.
I enjoyed this one, but it's also a bit forgettable.
Not available on my Spotify, which was surprising.
I respect his artistic vision but absolutely fuck off with your 8 minute closer of noise.
Couldn't find this on Spotify in my country so can't comment.
Is it the greatest debut album of all time? Not for me to say.
Good record, well done Tribe.
I think I prefer this one to his more successful follow-up.
Some great bits to this
It's a good record, but it's also aged pretty badly.
Nah, I did't like this one. Sorry Gillian.
I find Paul Simon quite boring.
Bring on the flood.
I like meat. I also like this record. The two worlds can co-exist!
Decent record, but not their best.
Few moments on this but I wasn't that engaged.
I remember when B&S kind of broke out, and this was lauded as like a secret debut, and it was really hard to get a copy of it. Years later, I did buy it, and I wasn't wholly unimpressed.
No chance, I lived through the time when this was EVERYWHERE. I'm not listening to it.
My first rap album. It's a good one.
Decent soundtrack, not so decent film.
A decent Morrissey record? Do my ears deceive?
A classic of the genre
A bit too much for me. Needs a bit of structure!
This was okay, but not great
This was a good first entry point into Johnny Cash's work
I'm sure he is.
Good singles, but not much else to retain attention.
What a way to open a record! But a double album, really? A&R needs talking to.
Boring, all the songs sound the same, no choruses, no variety in the instrumentation. I really don't enjoy this type of music.
Love this record, shame she never really followed it up.
Could never really get into the Wu-Tang Clan, sorry.
Not my favourite Smiths album, but it's got some great moments.
I don't think is as good as people say it is.
Not available on my streaming platform of choice but I seem to recall owning the CD. Can't remember much else about it though.
It's good, but I'm not buying that it's great.
Never got around to listening to this, and it's fun for a while, but it gets a bit boring and samey.
This was quite fun, and not as dreary as I was expecting it to be.
Nope, terrible band, terrible album, terrible name.
I doubt this rating would be too popular, but I find Led Zeppelin quite boring.
This was actually a lot of fun!
These lads can't hold a tune.
I enjoyed.
I find this record really frustrating as it's got some really good moments, but then it's littered with absolutely pointless noise.
Probably my favourite Bruce Springsteen record. The films actually pretty decent too.
Started off with a nice Björk kinda vibe, but after a while, it was pretty nondescript.
I can't stand Tracy Chapman.
It starts off great, but I found it to become a bit same-y after a while.
Not for me.
I met the guitarist from Megadeth a few weeks ago. I'm still not listening to this record though.
Kind of like a lot of records from that time, it starts off great and has good singles but by the end you're sort of looking at the counter thinking "How much more?"
My lad is really into Michael Jackson for some reason? Thriller is good, but I'm not really that bothered.
The hits are classics but underneath them, everything else is really great.
One of his best.
Couldn't give it 6, that would be absurd.
43 songs, 74 minutes....fuck me! It was good in parts, but lads, get an A&R!
Meh, it was nice for background music, but faded away after Take Five.
Remember listening to this when I was much younger and thinking it was okay but listening to it now, it's aged very well.
I didn't like this when it came out and I still don't. His voice ain't for me.
A good place to start with Queen, IMO.
I think I was expecting something a bit more. It was okay, but I didn't love it.
This record had very few redeeming qualities, and I had made up my mind about the score I would give it after 2 songs.
SIngles are good but I found it a bit boring.
Not as good as their first one, but still a great record
Not as good as Funeral, but I remember when this came out feeling that it was a bit of a missed opportunity.
Try as I might. Steely Dan will just never do it for me.
I love this record more than any other Pulp album. It sums up the times, and the state of the band in better ways that any one else did at the time.
This record just gets better as it goes on. Phenomenal!
Such a cool record. Imagine bringing your friends home one night and telling them you're working on a new album, and then playing them this!
Too much sauce!
Just a load of uninteresting noise in the studio. Not for me.
It had its moments, but I felt it dragged on a bit towards the end.
A beautiful record that just gently floats over you as you listen.
I really enjoyed this, which was a surprise.
One of the great records from the start of the 21st century.
I don't enjoy this version of Weller, he can be much more experimental.
The artwork is better than the music, IMO.
Nah, not for me.
This got a lot of buzz when it came out and I really couldn't understand why,
Another record where the artwork is better than the album, but this record's artwork is a fucking work of art!
Made the mistake of listening to this on shuffle so it's okay, but it might be better than okay, because when I was listening to it, I thought the sequencing was very odd!
