Good songs: hard rains a gonna fall, don't think twice,
Hard rain is too long
Don't think twice might be a perfect song? Excellent fuck you vibes
My dad used to sing me bob Dylan's blues to put me to sleep as a kid. I totally forgotten about it until i listened to it just now smacked me like a ton of bricks.
Why does he sound a hunderd years old all the time tho, isn't he a child when he makes this album?
We had this album when I was a kid and I remember my dad playing it a lot. Love to see a reference to Schoolhouse Rock. Sometimes when I see big potholes I get that "Potholes in my Lawn" poppin' up in my head. I like "Eye Know"
Good vibes, easy to work to. A little samey.
Meh. Listened to 3/4 of this and had to stop, not my favorite at all
This is good! One song is too long
Uh oh I don't want to listen to this
I'll give it three tracks
Okay on second thought this seems like completely reasonable background working music to me so long as I'm not paying attention to it too hard. I have no idea why this would be considered an especially good album, but it's fine?
Oop had to abandon ship the 666 song sucked and I did not recover
This is really good. I don't have any songs that I'm like yes this is a banger and I love it but I can see how this music it's like the prototype for a bunch of other music that I really like
Not my type of music. She's got a pretty voice and son of a preacher Man is pretty good. But I don't care
We have Phoenix at home and I like it more
I like this band but I don't like this album
Once more many songs are too long. However More than A feeling is an all-time banger, foreplay/along time is pretty good even though it is too long. I feel like Homer driving the kids in the car being like Don't stop The rocking.
Did not listen to all of this but I can see why ppl like it! Bitch don't kill my vibe is truly great driving music.
Okay I tried to listen more over the weekend: Good kid is a good song. I don't really like to hear Drake that much so I skipped that one. Also I don't know like anything about their beef but I had forgotten that they did song together. Why is swimming pools the only song I know?
We had this album at my house. I can't remember whose it was, though. Not mine! This is pretty chill background working music for me but nothing I'd choose to put on. Catch the sun is a good song! The song I like is from a different album, "pounding" off 2002's the last broadcast, which is to me a better album.
Sound and vision is good! The rest of this is not my favorite, like I can't hear the lyrics, hard to hum along to, and none of the storytelling I like about the Bowie songs I like. Great album cover tho he's so pretty.
No! A weird 7 min song? Skip. The last three tracks on this I had to skip because they were too aggressively weird and boring.
I think for 1977 this is like wildly out of the box, and that's cool, but I'd rather hear Hunky Dory or Ziggy, please.
Nahhhh
Not for me, friends. Everything sounds the same to me and I stopped listening after someday.
Good vibes here! Fun to play the sample game, songs are times a little long and samey but it would be a good thing to dance more at a party!
Maybe it's just that I'm listening to the remaster but some of these songs are too long and at last I'm free is boring.
Still though most of these are fun, do I like disco?
I listened to half of this one and was like no
Parts of this are fun and parts of this are tracks that I skipped after listening to 15 seconds. And it sounded how normal this sounds compared to what I remember off of trout mask replica, like this sounds like it could be the box tops or something
Nahhhhhh
This is boring goth music and I don't like it. Echo & the bunnymen started playing after this and I like them so much better LOL
I like get me away im dying
Wild to think that this came out in 1996, I really associate them with the early 2000s. This album seems like it could hang out with pulp's common people. It's not my favorite, I feel like this twee stuff doesn't really hit it for me anymore. Judy and the dream of horses is really nice though.
I can see how this is the prequel to a lot of music that I like better. I don't hate it but I wouldn't choose to put it on
Ain't that a shame is a great song. I also really like that most of these songs are clocking in at under 3 minutes, truly I think this is a great length for that type of song. That being said most these songs sound the same to me, and this feels like homework, but homework I kind of enjoy.
I can tell this is good but I don't actually like it. I do like the song I'm a man you don't meet everyday and a pair of brown eyes is pretty good but the rest of it miss me.
Ugh that's a quick no for me, couldn't make it thru a single track
This is cool, it's definitely not music I would ever choose to put on but I did like it more than I thought I would! Heresy is a banger! Hurt is a beautiful song! There are lots of good songs on here even though this is to me a pistachio ice cream situation. Good job Trent and Friends, have fun making music soundtracks that Doug will listen to forever
Skipped the first track after 1 min because hate the blues
Literal peace frog? Like the t-shirt?
The thing I've heard is that Chris Cornell and a bunch of other '90s men kind of wanted to be Jim Morrison but I like them better than him. I like the grateful dead ship of fools.
Why does this album sound like a circus? Like it gives distinctly haunted carnival to me.
Jimi Hendrix has a nice voice and this album is more tolerable than I would expect it to be. About halfway through I got really sick of how similar all the songs sounded to me so I skipped ahead to All along the watchtower which is a banger that song belongs to him. Voodoo child slight return is actually good, Zack was right.
I don't mind these songs except I don't really like the singer's voice. I wonder if it would grow on me the same way that like Colin meloy's voice did if I really liked the songs more, but I feel firmly in the camp of people who prefer pavement to silver jews.
Too many songs some of them are good
This is cute. I like how short the songs are, I appreciate how this is foundational to lots of music that I like that came afterwards, but no I don't really like this album that much
Heads Will roll is an all-time banger zero is pretty darn good too!
I listened to half of this and then quit. No thanks!
Suburbs is better but this album still has some good songs on it and I do like arcade fire
Couldn't really hear it all but what I heard said is fine
Didn't listen to all of it but really liked what I heard
