1001 Albums Summary

God, where are we in the world today. 9/10 Likes: 'Shining Star,' 'Happy Feelin', 'That's the Way of the World,' the horns of 'Yearnin' Learnin',' dear god 'Reasons' is a perfect masterpiece, best song on the album, fight me, is 'See the Light.' Dislikes: First half of 'All About Love,' though that synth part is phenomenally mesmerizing, Y'all know this is just my opinion right?

Sounds like generic ‘90’s hip-hop without the bite. I understand it’s importance though as a precursor to what was to come. Just incredibly dated.

BRING THE NOISE

Zeppelin couldn’t copy if they tried.

Could use a party right about now...

Wish I could give it a 3.5. At times unique, at times an 80s kid’s wet dream.

Classic. Have my Dad’s copy on vinyl and it gets love every now and again.

Lots of artists talk about death. None have presented their journey, emotions, or physical experiences, as honestly and vividly as Bowie did while the horizon approached ever closer.

If you're tired of cookie cutter, you won't find anything conventional to your ears here ... French creativity is unmatched...

Quaint, meditative...

Computers are cool

Sort of inspired at times... otherwise boring as can be... If I were around in ‘81, I’m sure I would have loved it. But it has not aged well, and what has come after has made strides so large (both abstractly and generically) that this album lives in obscurity. Maybe I’m just not cultured enough.

Still a banger

Eh...

Glow sticks around the world praise this album as the underground’s ascension to prominence and renown. Stocks surge for Bitcoin and free love reigns as anti-drug laws are continuing to be lifted across the regimes. Only time will tell when the players will wake from their matrix injected reality of black leather, fat ass guns, and kung fu.
