Very atmospheric album, some great compositions, and also lots of crazy weird stuff. I enjoy the variety while still maintaining a sort of mysterious vibe throughout.

Very unique. It blows my mind that such a refined and crisp electronic, synthy sound was possible in 1978.

I gotta admit I had some stereotypical assumptions about how good a "female rapper" could be, and was a bit skeptical. Despite this, I ended up really enjoying this album and was happily proved wrong. It has great lyricism and great musical accompaniment. I love the themes as well. Well done!

Admittedly a but too involved and complicated to be an easy listen for background music, but for a jazz fan this is a great one. The guitar really elevates the album while making it distinct from other Davis stuff.

Oh my god I'm a little biased because I already knew of this album, but seriously I love it. The highly emotional vocal performance, the almost classical elements of the compositions, the timeless feel of the lyric content and music, the masterful production. A nearly perfect album that has resonated with me since I first listened to it, no matter what walk of life I'm at.
