1001 Albums Summary

Not my favorite Rush, but definitely an epic. I just like the pop songs for a daily listen more.

Psycho Killer is the standout track. No Compassion is pretty good, too, though. You can see the bones of all that came after.

A few classic hits. I'd probably hit a greatest hits before I'd hit this.

Would I listen to it all? No, but there are a few hits in here that I put on mixtapes (playlists) all the time.

Not as many "hits" as later albums of note, but still a pretty darn good listen.

I remember playing hide and seek in a darkened house with some friends while Hells Bells played (emblazoned in my brain perhaps because of the death of one of those friends a few years later). What a mood. What a great album after what seemed like the death of the band and not just its lead singer. Back in black, indeed.

I'm rating this five stars, even though I think Hysteria should be a higher-rated album. Like, Hysteria is 10 stars. Pyromania is 9 stars. Anyway, five certifiable hits.
