1001 Albums Summary

Have heard most of these songs before. If released today they would still be hits.

Not a bad album but there is no outright awesome song. Gives me a Bruno Mars vibe.

Just an okay album. No bangers

The albums starts out pretty good. Very catchy songs that aren’t bad to listen too. The last three songs on the album are terrible. I can see myself listening this album in the future.

Terrible album. Were there even words!?!? I just heard so mumbles and sounds. Yuck

Great easy listening album. Has a unique voice with an alternative sound. I like all the sounds created in the album. The pony street is awesome.

Gary Burton is a magician on the vibes. This was a long album but an album where it’s mostly background music for working.

Woh! Smashing Pumkins are legendary. Billy Corgan is an absolute MONSTER singer. You can pick his voice out from anywhere. Not the best album they have but still has some huge songs on this album and they never forget their true rock feel with heavy guitar and drums.

What a great album. This is before Coldplay went super pop. They are very relaxing songs. Could see me playing them soaking up the sun in summer.

Great voice. Not the best at varying sounds. After a few songs they sound the same to me. Missing the huge hits for this album.

Very strange album. Good background music with some cool drum fills in there. Altogether not a bad album but it is forgettable. Probably won’t listen to again.

Killer guitar in this album. How can you go wrong with these solo’s? Definitely going to put this album on my revisit later list.

Not a bad album. I’m not a biggest knot fan. A little too hard for my taste but if you listen to the drum fills they are really good. I tend to find myself listening to just the drums rather then the overall song.

Not too much here. Good study music but not something you really want to pay too much attention to.

The actual album as a whole is not the greatest but if you just listen to the guitar it’s amazing. Jimi is a wizard on the axe

Not feeling this guy as a singer. Need more rock. Maybe come back and listen to this guy when it’s not Friday afternoon.

Some rockin guitar riffs goin on here. Not their best album but I can definitely see myself checking out this one again.

I haven’t listened to this whole album before but have heard about it. It did not disappoint. Great album for such a weird and out there sound.

What the heck is this??? There is no rhyme or reason to the music. This is where jazz loses me. It’s not bad to listen to, just not remember able in any way

Some killer guitar riffs happening on this album but I don’t understand why this would be a top album. Nothing to separate them between other bands.

The guitar is amazing in this album but I can’t get past the singer. His voice is not the greatest and it’s hard to understand what he says.

I’ve definitely have heard some songs from them before and was honestly really excited to see this album for the day. I was disappointed to say the least. All the songs sound the same and there is only that one hit. Great rock feel but overall disappointing.

Missing some bangers

Some crazy sounds happening here. I really dig the different sounds between songs. Could definitely see myself listening again.

Not a band album or band but they’re just alright. No huge bangers or anything. Sometimes get the vibe of Coldplay

Her rapping is very good. But I HATE all the talking between songs. It ruins it for me. Without the dialogue it would be great.

You have to be in the right mindset when listening to Kendrick. Very talented but overall he has better albums.

This album hits different. They have a very distinct sound. Their greatest hits albums is really good.

This is their second best album and it’s pretty great. Wish Green Day was still this good. Now they only put out an occasional single that’s alright and you forget about it a week later.

I honestly didn’t mind listening to this one but why is there so much talking!?!? After the first time listening to the album you would have to skip wayyyy ahead on the last song.

Not the greatest of albums. The artist has Hallelujah and that’s it. Without that song I would have given it a worse score for sure.

This is perfect timing. Just got done listening to a tribe called quest and now this. Just starting to get into 90s hip hop and this is definitely a banger!

Just not the biggest fan of jazz. Miles is a legend but it can’t hold my attention. Faded in to background music almost immediately.

The beginning starts off with 2 good songs and then nothing.
