I only have two artists blocked on Spotify, and Morrissey is both of them. Unblocked just to listen again. Still a decent enough album if it perhaps feels a bit more "samey" than it used to, it now feels like once you've heard one or two Smiths songs you've heard them all.

Never heard this before, had no idea what to expect. Enjoyed it.

Could quite easuly be an album from the late 70s. Decent album and one I'll likely listen to again, but to me it's more "background" music than music I'd set aside time to listen to.

Only four tracks on Spotify but decent

One or two decent tracks but the rest feels like it's trying to hard to be "grown up". Too many ballads.

Wikipedia says it was groundbreaking when it first came out but now it all sort of just merges into one

More Morrissey? When will the suffering end?

Except for the frequent mention of pagers, this feels like it could have been released any time in the last 30 years. It doesn't sound dated, though several of the lyrics perhaps are.

For an album released before I was born, I'm honestly surprised by how fresh this sounds.

Not my thing

Not really my thing, but fine background music. The copy on Spotify seems to have been ripped from a scratched CD or something as the last two tracks have a barely perceptible but annoying click all the way through

Unexpected middle part!

Very generic album, surprised it managed to make it into this list. It's also not in any way soul.

I think you need to be in the right mood to enjoy this album, but when that's the case, it's perfect.

Never heard of the band before, and it was nothing like I though tit would be. Enjoyable but likely not one I return to
