Californication
Red Hot Chili PeppersVery good, also very long. Fatigued around 45 minutes, but Very Good.
Very good, also very long. Fatigued around 45 minutes, but Very Good.
Didn’t love it
Great but didn’t move
Good but not my thing, it’s a style that doesn’t always engage me.
Favorite song Pure, it was all good, still a bit out of my taste preferences
“3” was ringing in my head the whole time. I liked it. Very Dad. Not my dad. But like middle aged man…
Favorite song(s): Nebraska or My Father's House Very good, expected to like this one.
Wish was better
Love Kate Bush, I'm more of a "The Kick Inside" girl. Loved the album much more the second listen. Favorite song: Watching You Without Me, The Big Sky Least Favorite: Running Up that Hill
I didn’t like it at all the first time, second time I kinda got down to it!
Sooo so good. One of my top 10s.
Good
Niceee
This recording was an amazing listen, I found myself not caring when the first song played over again, and wound up giving it 3 full listens yesterday. It's intimate & authentic.
Sigh. I had high hopes, I like Lou Reed, I think. I thought. Currently bored though. I enjoyed Berlin, and Caroline Says II.
Fun but too much rock
Good, once again, found myself a little bored, but maybe I wasn’t in the mood!
I thought this album was bland and unenjoyable
Fun beach listen! Enjoyed it in the kitchen with dad. A bit boring… Good, but I was waiting for something new and exciting. There were some good tracks! I liked the cover of Across the Universe. Then felt a little bad that my favorite song on the album wasn’t even his…
Slept for 16 of 24 hours yesterday, this was a good lullaby, I only remember the first song
I very much so enjoyed this album! This was a very nice study listen.
This one was must not my thing. Weird concept and weird execution. But I'm not one for theatrics.
Nice to study to, got into a groove, but didn't like it. Just not my thing. And not done in a way that would be a taste breaker.
I like this one a lot! It's a classic. Good to have on speakers, I don't get bored, it's all around an enjoyable album. Some highlights include the demo for Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard, and Run that Body Down.
I think this was my least favorite Bowie album we've been thrown yet, it was fine, but it didn't do anything for me. I liked the last song, Wild is the Wind.
Feeling a bit like a negative nancy. Just boring. Could be the headache and the studying and the midterms, but this wasn't what I needed, and I'm not sure it will ever be what I need.
I always fold in the face of duets and country rock... secret (not so secret) weakness.
Doesn't do it for me.
Listened with Dad! This album is one I love, but have a hard time reconciling the person with the music. I love her voice, the simple and melancholic tone etc. Would be a 5. Docking her for her personality and actions.
Just not my jam. I'm a worse person because of this opinion.
Oh yes... This is an album I enjoy. Particularly loved the 7 O'Clock News/Silent Night.
Wouldn't listen in my free time.
Honestly liked some parts a lot, really didn't enjoy others though.
Sigh. Is it bad that I think that the Talking Heads albums are too long? Anyways, long.
This is so my thing and I liked it a lot!
This is long and I like the trumpets but grrrr...
I think Rock is just not my genre. This was fine.
This was fun -- I lost track while listening to it and tuned in like 2 hours later still listening to it.
I like this a bunch.
A classic, some really good tracks in here, could repeat and not get bored for a long while.
Surprised to like it, but that was at 2am so I may be misguided and delusional…
Meh
So not my thing. Very man motorcycle meh-ness
This was fun, definitely enjoyable, living room record energy.
Surprised to see it so hated-- I didn't mind it, I liked it more than most of the rock that comes through. And the song for me was an added touch.
Bored and kinda annoyed at this one.
Definitely liked the first two minutes of the first song on the album. We'll see how it goes. I'm not sure I like this guy's voice. I think I do like it, and substantially more than I usually like these albums, so I'd give it a 4 and stand by it.
This is awesome, would listen on my own time. Not one of the greats, but I'd give it the 5 on honor of being repeatable, enjoyable, and my thing.
Rated this a 5 in the early days, but its not that.
This is usually my thing, but I didn't love THIS thing. Thus 3.
I like this in the end, it's on the better end of the rock that I consistently rate 2 and 3, so I'll give it a 4.
I get that it's a classic, I hear the talent, I enjoy the listen, but I can't get past the lyrics, too much misogyny.
Didn't love, but liked.
Big fan, yay!
Huh. Needs headphones. I liked it. I think I liked it? It was fun to listen to, and I liked the vocals. 4.
There are better listens out there
This was nice! A high 3.
Liked but didnt love
Kinda got it, Kinda didn’t
Listening on the way back from Thatcher. This stinks Im bored Booo 2/5
I liked this! It was a 3 when I listened, I was in debates.
Like the guitar
Love this album, one of my favorites so far, if not my favorite. Always happy to give it another listen.
I like this, definitely enjoyed.
Wasn’t feeling the trills
Meh
AWESOME
Like this one a lot
Meh
Good but not a love
Solid 3, enjoyment is a 2.
Ook
This album was fantastic!!
