Popular Reviews

Classic. No skips. Zero apologies. Caught myself singing the entire thing at work like I was headlining Ozzfest 1999 and my coworkers were just unwilling VIPs. Did they ask for it? No. Did they receive it? Absolutely. This album is: Aggressively nostalgic Emotionally unhinged in the best way Scientifically proven to improve head nodding by 300% If you hear someone softly whispering “boom na da noom na na nema…” in the break room — mind your business. I am not sorry. I will not be quiet. HR can simply Follow the Leader.

Definitely an experimental album. started a bit slow. One observation was lack of experience with production but was a decent album.

Freak Out! by The Mothers Of Invention
Nov 13 2025

This album made me feel like I’m stuck in an elevator while having a bad trip of LSD. Production is top tier, a bit on the weird side but a good listen. The pace is a bit slow at first but it just works. Oldie but goodie

First song brought back memories of being stuck in a car with my mom as she smoked cigarettes while I couldn’t get away from that smell in early 2000s brought back bad memories musically it’s fine just the emotions from memory push my rating

Tarkus by Emerson, Lake & Palmer

All Hope Is Gone by Slipknot
Dec 11 2025

i love this album, slipknot was challenged to make a clean album with no cursing because they were criticized for having only explicit songs, so their response was this album. every time any of these songs comes on im singing along, just waiting for a slipknot show to pop up near me again to go again one of my fav bands best release is Iowa

I like it. If it came on the radio, I wouldn’t change it. If I’m in the mood for “I own at least one flannel and miss the 90s,” I’d throw it on intentionally.

Jazz Samba by Stan Getz
Feb 19 2026

Yesterday: “ARE YOU OKAY???” Today: “hm… yes… life is… breezy…” Jazz Samba feels like: You just committed tax fraud but in a charming European way. It’s: Calm Warm Slightly smug Deeply vibey If Korn is drywall punching, Jazz Samba is gently adjusting cufflinks.

What's That Noise? by Coldcut
Feb 20 2026

I normally love EDM. But this? This sounded like I got stinkface’d at WrestleMania 2001 and the ref just let it happen. I respect the audacity. I do not respect what it did to my ears.

Electric Prunes by The Electric Prunes
Feb 21 2026

This sounded like someone describing a fun time instead of actually having one. It’s very: “Bro you had to be there.” No, I did not. I respect the 60s. I do not respect how long some of these songs felt.

Feb 22 2026

This album feels like: “Let’s process our emotions in a healthy, quiet way.” And I’m over here like: “Do you have a distortion pedal? A snare? A controlled emotional spiral?” It’s intimate. It’s minimal. It’s emotionally mature. Meanwhile I’m spiritually standing in Guitar Center asking if it comes in Drop C and mild chaos. I respect the artistry. I acknowledge the vulnerability. But personally? I would rather listen to 20 Jazz Funk Greats by Throbbing Gristle which is neitehr jazz, fusion or jazz fusion

Mask by Bauhaus
Feb 23 2026
Crocodiles by Echo And The Bunnymen
Feb 24 2026

This album feels like it was recorded inside a fog machine. Not terrible. Not amazing. Just very committed to sounding like it owns at least three trench coats. Every track has that specific “mysterious 80s” energy where someone is definitely staring out a rainy window thinking deep thoughts… but nothing is actually happening. At some point I stopped recognizing where one song ended and the next began, but in a very polite, synth-adjacent way. 2/5 — not offensive, just aggressively era-appropriate. It didn’t bite. It gently… hovered.

Rust In Peace by Megadeth
Apr 10 2026

Saying that any further endeavors of technical skill and imagination were pointless, experts at the Smithsonian Institution reportedly questioned Monday why new art was still being produced after the pinnacle of aesthetic and creative potential was reached in 1990 with Megadeth’s fourth studio album, Rust In Peace. “As the unquestioned apex of the entire history of the creative arts, Rust In Peace is the finest and last necessary piece of human expression—but it’s almost as though current so-called artists are completely oblivious to Dave Mustaine’s blistering, transcendent guitar work on ‘Hangar 18,’” said Smithsonian curator of contemporary art Joanna Marsh, gesturing dismissively in the direction of a massive self-portrait by photorealist Chuck Close, completed in 2000. “It’s not just incredibly disrespectful to keep making art; in many ways, it’s actually quite sad. The deluded people churning out this worthless garbage just can’t seem to reconcile themselves to the fact that their pathetic little sculptures and films and novels and whatnot will always pale in comparison to the brilliantly inspired, heart-stopping tempo shift halfway through ‘Holy Wars… The Punishment Due.’” At press time, a spokesperson from the Centre Pompidou in Paris confirmed the museum’s plans to throw out the contents of an entire wing and leave a massive, pure white space where the track “Lucretia” will be played on loop at full volume.
