An unexpected joy. Not what I would normally gravitate towards and not sure how/when I would listen to it again, but I am glad to have done so.
Perfect album for me. A few stand out songs, cohesive, with enough diversity to keep you interested.
Not as good as the other one. But hard to say, I think this is an album depending on its environment; I think listening on a Walkman in the 80s in the Summer time would change my opinion.
This album is the reason I got into this project in the first place. Finding pieces that are exciting and change your perspective of music and taste of music. Such a strong and revolutionary album. I’m appalled that I waited until I was 25 to hear this. This was amazing a very STRONG 4 — 4.5 for me. The back end is where I think it lost some points but hard to tell because the top half is that strong.

I think this is a middle point album to me 3.5 but I’m giving it the 4 here. Kind of a deep pit album where it’s almost too cohesive where there isn’t the diversity that keeps you sucked in to each song. But it does sound great as a whole, it is hard to find a single point I really like.

Album is good and thoughtfully put together but people really act like there aren’t a million albums on the subject of technology’s impact, and others do it better (The Pleasure Principle). Radiohead’s OK Computer is for men who take SSRIs yet think they are better than everyone else, and think women’s opinions suck (but don’t worry he will call himself a feminist). <3

A post-hardcore artifact that should be revered as one of the best emo albums of all time. The top is adrenaline spiking motion, then dives into a mellowed rhythm. This is the kind of cool Brits wish they were.
Damp and moody, what I imagine living on the Pacific Northwest does to you. This album deeply suits the depressed, nihilistic, tearful guy who makes his personality drinking PBR and that’s okay . You’ll get her back one day (you definitely won’t) <3

Bill Ward’s jazz style drumming brings such a unique flair to this album that makes it so enjoyable. This is a must own in a record collection, like find an original pressing. Whenever I listen to this and Master of Reality I think about how Ozzy was called the “Prince of Darkness” but to me he sounds like a teddy bear — my close, personal friend Oz. This is one of the best Rock albums of all time, and I hope it continues to gain recognition as time goes on.

This project will drop you in the middle of nowhere. I never thought I’d to listen to Indian inspired electronica and enjoy it.
I liked that this was an encapsulation of what being a teenage boy was like. Throughout the album I got whiffs of body odor and a metric ton of Axe body spray. This made me want to put on one of those shell necklaces and be a menace to society.
Being that this was their first album, and they found their characteristic sound. I gave this a 5 due to the fact that they laid one of the strongest foundations with their debut album.
Not my favorite album, nor do I think it’s their best.
Surprisingly grew on me, bass line draws you in. Is this something that I will casually listen to regularly? No. But I am glad I gave Duran Duran a chance, though, I still don’t understand their cult following. (3.5)
A divisive dumpster fire album. I’m giving it a three just based on the fact that the top singles on this album have crazy staying power. Industry designed and forced or not it’s impressive to make singles that are recognized 40 years later.
