New Wave by The Auteurs

This was fun and enjoyable. I unfortunately don't have much to say, since it was background music while I cooked, but I could see myself returning to this for a similar situation. 7/10

Kid A by Radiohead
Jan 07 2026

Very chill, pleasant, easy listening. Not sure I particularly enjoy Thom Yorke's voice, but it's not grating to me either. Don't think I'll return to this. 6/10. For the purposes of this project, I will rate 9 or 10/10s 5 stars, 7 or 8/10s 4 stars, 5 or 6/10s 3 stars, 3 or 4/10s 2 stars, and 0, 1 or 2/10s 1 star

Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Jan 08 2026

Not sure what I expected but this was incredibly pleasant. I feel like I'm slowly puffing on a cigar, rocking in a chair while watching the sunset over the mountain range. Faithful dog by my side. No where to be, nothing to do but enjoy the earth and its beauty. At peace. Definitely "grandpa" music but I genuinely enjoyed this. Stand out is Running Dry, but this is definitely a full album listening experience! 8/10

Aladdin Sane by David Bowie
Jan 09 2026

You just don't hear piano solos like this anymore! Watch that Man, We should spend the night together, and lady grinning soul were stand out hits. While this was definitely a fun listen, and he is extremely talented, the intentional dissonance and "avant-garde"-ness was sometimes a bit much for me. 7/10

Sunday At The Village Vanguard by Bill Evans Trio
Jan 12 2026

HELL YEAH SOME SWINGING JAZZY TUNES! When it was over, I wanted there to be more. This was a delight, and the whole album was added to my Flow State playlist. Perfect working/background music that stimulates the mind. 9/10

Jan 13 2026

An amazing listening experience. Obvious "Respect" is a standout, but the whole album is nothing but amazing songs. I loved it so much, I had to listen to more Aretha to satiate my craving for more of her voice. 9/10

The Chronic by Dr. Dre
Jan 14 2026

I don't know about this one...the beats are good and groovy, they have good flow, but...it's not clicking for me. Maybe they just talked about sticking dicks in mouths and nuts too much. No respect for women here. I also did not like one of the synths they were using, way too high pitched for me. I did NOT like "F Wit Dre Day" at all. It wasn't all bad though, "Let Me Ride" was fun, and "The Day the [Neighbors] Took Over" was enjoyable for the most part. Sweet flute in Lil' Ghetto Boy. And even Stranded on Death Row was great, mainly because of Lady of Rage and a killer hard beat. 4/10

Fromohio by fIREHOSE
Jan 15 2026

Nothing about this is very memorable. I liked "Time With You" but everything else just blended together. I am not sure why this made the list. Not bad, necessarily, just forgettable. 3/10

Dust by Screaming Trees
Jan 16 2026

They sound like the Eagles, had the Eagles been a 90s grunge band. That closer rocked!! Not sure if I will return to this, but definitely a great listening experience. 6/10

Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys
Jan 19 2026

The hits! Nostalgic but not exciting. Always a pleasant listen through though. 6/10

YEAH!! This rocked so hard. Love her voice, the raw grunge, the vibe, everything. "The Whore Hustlers..." and "This is love" really captured my attention. I actually did not like the one with Thom Yorke (surprise surprise, not the biggest radiohead fan) even though that's the most streamed song on the album. "Horses in my Dreams" was surprisingly very powerful to me too. 7/10

New Wave by The Auteurs
Jan 21 2026

This was fun and enjoyable. I unfortunately don't have much to say, since it was background music while I cooked, but I could see myself returning to this for a similar situation. 7/10

Crosby, Stills & Nash by Crosby, Stills & Nash
Jan 22 2026

This was...fine! They have great voices that harmonize well together, and it's very pleasant to listen to. Maybe just not for me. 6/10.

Rum Sodomy & The Lash by The Pogues
Jan 23 2026

2 seconds in and I knew this would be a tough album to get through. I am the bagpipe's biggest op, and I don't really care for folk music in general, so this was a terrible combo for me. "I'm a Man you don't meet everyday" was almost pleasant listening though. The whole thing is giving "The Pirates who don't do anything" 2/10

The Doors by The Doors
Jan 26 2026

A classic!! Every single song is so good and fun. Not a single bad thing to say here. 9/10

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Jan 27 2026

Another album where the music itself is fine, but I just don't care for the vocals. I did really like "Fooled Again" at least! 6/10

Apocalypse Dudes by Turbonegro
Jan 28 2026

Fun, energetic, incredible, explosive, enrapturing, and so much more! Big big fan of this. Weird band name, but I suppose I can let that slide? 8/10

Sound Affects by The Jam
Jan 29 2026

funky, groovy, fun and energetic. Another pleasant full listen. Nothing in particular stands out, but it's all good, so I'm not bummed out about that. 8/10

Jan 30 2026

What a legend. Hurt and Desperado and We'll Meet Again are three of my favorites. Hauntingly beautiful stuff. 7/10

Hunky Dory by David Bowie
Feb 02 2026

Kooks is fun and silly. I forgot about Changes too! It's interesting to hear an earlier work of his, even if it wasn't my favorite overall. 6/10

Moondance by Van Morrison
Feb 03 2026

YES YES YES!!!! LOVE THIS!! every song is perfect and incredible and such a delight to my ears. Every next song that played I was like WOW LOVE! 10/10?????

Closer by Joy Division
Feb 04 2026

this was good, but I'm definitely more of a New Order girl. It was fun to hear what the original band sounded like, and how elements of it would later live on. 6/10

Let It Bleed by The Rolling Stones
Feb 05 2026

I thought I would like this album more than I did. It really starts off strong with "Gimme Shelter" but then nothing else really spoke to me after. Still a good listen. 7/10

Ready To Die by The Notorious B.I.G.
Feb 06 2026

Not a big fan of this. Definitely did NOT like "just playing". Gross. I can appreciate the throughline of the story and the bars but I think it was just not meant for me. 5/10

Ramones by Ramones
Feb 09 2026

Honestly thought this was very one-note as an album. I like that it's a little silly but every song just bled into the next. Nothing felt very unique at all! The one note is GOOD but just got boring after a while. 6/10

Lust For Life by Iggy Pop
Feb 10 2026

Meh...another fine but not super interesting album. Also, ended the album on a bad note with that weird, creepy song about a girl who looks older than she is. 5/10

S&M by Metallica
Feb 11 2026

This was really good! Very long, but very good. I don't think it's something I'd return to, but it was an amazing theatrical experience. Just a taaaad bit too long. 7/10

Lost In The Dream by The War On Drugs
Feb 12 2026

This was really good! Very long, but very good. I don't think it's something I'd return to, but it was an amazing theatrical experience. Just a taaaad bit too long. 7/10

Vespertine by Björk
Feb 13 2026

I didn't really get this album at first, I think it was too experimental and ethereal for the tasks I was doing when I was listening to it, but then I went on a walk through the woods and it suddenly clicked. I think this music was meant to be enjoyed in an outdoor environment, or at least not while you're packing. It also feels like an album that I would need to specifically pay attention to the lyrics, which I was not able to do this time around. Perhaps another, more focused listen through is in order. 6/10

Dire Straits by Dire Straits
Feb 16 2026

This was pretty good album! Very country ish without being TOO country. I could enjoy this on a playlist but I don't think I'll be seeking them out. 6/10

...And Justice For All by Metallica
Feb 17 2026

This is fine. Definitely not as grand or majestic as the album with the orchestra. 5/10

Drunk by Thundercat
Feb 18 2026

Silly and funky, just what I'd expect from a Thundercat album. Honestly maybe a little bit TOO silly, even...everyone wants to be a cat? well yes! but I don't want to hear a song about it, I fear, even if it is groovy as all get out. 7/10

Feb 19 2026

Man...I wanted to like this. It has all the elements that normally really do it for me - smooth sax, funky bass, and lofi background jazz qualities - but I was mostly just underwhelmed. Felt a bit too much like elevator jazz, and the music sounded dated too. 5/10

Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin
Feb 20 2026

Oh yeah, now this is a good meal. I loved the blues vibe of "You Shook Me", and the rest of album was an enjoyable listen. Definitely can see myself on my balcony listening to this in the summer. 8/10

1999 by Prince
Feb 23 2026

Hell yeah!!! This slapped. Prince is a genius and these are all amazing songs. I even like Lady Cab Driver, despite the bridge with the woman's moans incorporated. Normally that ruins a song for me, but this one made sense and didn't take away from the experience. I will be returning to this one! 9/10

Parklife by Blur
Feb 24 2026

This one is fun! I really liked the variety of sounds, especially the less common and unique ones. Very listenable and I could see myself putting this on during the summer days! 7/10

I See You by The xx
Feb 25 2026

So good! Love the chill vibes and the smooth voices of this album. Id like to listen to this a lot more! Good for late night's and low key hangs. 9/10

Feb 27 2026

Another winner! This album inspired me to make a 70s era Playlist for songs that make me feel like I'm walking across an open dusty field (in a romantic way) 9/10!

The Fat Of The Land by The Prodigy
Mar 02 2026

Oh this was surprisingly fun! Not sure about the lyrics to the first song, but each track was something I could see myself jamming out to in the gym or at the club or while crushing tasks at work. 8/10

Illinois by Sufjan Stevens
Mar 03 2026

Great background music. Calming, chill, nothing crazy happening here. 7/10

Gentlemen by The Afghan Whigs
Mar 04 2026

I dunno about this one. I don't really have anything to say about it. 5/10

Mar 05 2026

There's some good stuff on here. George obviously has a lovely voice, and the instrumentation is very pleasant. Nothing super stand out but overall good. 7/10

Led Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin
Mar 06 2026

Fine! Didn't like this one as much as the first album. 6/10

Mar 09 2026

This was not their best work. I feel like I had heard better versions of these songs from them earlier in their discography. Bummer! 5/10

The Clash by The Clash
Mar 10 2026

I think i was maybe not in the right mindset for this album. I also don't think I like his voice, unfortunately. It's fun and energetic and interesting, but not something I'll return to. 6/10

Music Has The Right To Children by Boards of Canada
Mar 11 2026

Surprisingly pleasant! It's atmospheric and chill and kind of eerie sometimes. Not sure if I'll return to it but I appreciate the change in pace. 7/10

Brilliant Corners by Thelonious Monk
Mar 12 2026

Ugh YES!!! this is what I needed today. My only complaint is that these songs are so long and I can't use them for swing dancing. Otherwise, nearly perfection. 9/10

The Pleasure Principle by Gary Numan
Mar 13 2026

Already liked this one! Cars is obviously the biggest hit, and while the rest of album blends together it's all very good. 7/10

Either Or by Elliott Smith
Mar 16 2026

Wasn't super wowed by this, but it was really nice background music. I feel like a lot of care went into making this album. 6/10

Superfly by Curtis Mayfield
Mar 17 2026

Superfly is, indeed, super fly. Groovy and fun and dance-able. 8/10

This Year's Model by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Mar 18 2026

This was great!! Kinda gives vibes similar to the cars, so that's right up my alley. 8/10

Illmatic by Nas
Mar 19 2026

I was nervous about this one, I have not historically liked 90s rap. But this was so good!! The beats were incredible and catchy, and there were only a few questionable or outright dubious lyrics. A product of its time, but still very good. 7/10

Mar 20 2026

Ugh this was awful. I hated every second. It feels like a joke. I couldn't get past the 5th song. 1/10

Tapestry by Carole King
Mar 24 2026

This was very good! Definitely heard the popular ones before, but the ones I hadn't listened to before were very lovely. A few might get added to a Playlist. 7/10

Mar 25 2026

This is an absolute riot. What a fun album. Full of bangers and interesting sounds and comedic gold. Some of it had me bursting out laughing, and even in the silliest songs, I found myself genuinely having a great time. There's certainly some extra bulk here - i don't believe it needed to be over 2 hours long - but the majority of the tracks had something unique and enjoyable about them. One of my favorite experiences so far! 9/10

Brutal Youth by Elvis Costello
Mar 27 2026

Definitely not as good as the "this years model" album. Honestly couldn't say why, just didn't click for me. 5/10

Mar 30 2026

I am sad. This album makes me sad. Every song is sad. Very nostalgic and overall a great work. 8/10

At Newport 1960 by Muddy Waters
Mar 31 2026

SCRUMPTIOUS. Delicious blues and jazz tunes. Even found some songs to add to my swing dancing dj set list. Love it! 8/10

Sign 'O' The Times by Prince
Apr 01 2026

Love me some prince! Side two is way better imo, but the whole thing is enjoyable of course. I don't think I dislike any of his work. 7/10

Apr 02 2026

This is not for me. "Grounds for Divorce" just sounds like the home depot theme. A lot of the rest of the album gives me the hunger games companion album, but b-sides created by the Civil wars and the Decemberists. Meh. 5/10

Smile by Brian Wilson
Apr 03 2026

Honestly couldn't wait for this to be over. This was just not interesting to me whatsoever. A nothing burger of an album. 2/10

The Low End Theory by A Tribe Called Quest
Apr 06 2026

This was fun! I liked this more than most of the other 90s rap on the list so far. And it seems like they're less interested in getting money and screwing bitches, so that was a nice change of pace too. 6/10

The Cars by The Cars
Apr 07 2026

LOVE! can't get enough. What else is there to say 10/10

Swordfishtrombones by Tom Waits
Apr 08 2026

Ugh. From the Spotify artist description, you'd think this would be exactly what I like. Honestly did not enjoy at all. 2/10

Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Apr 09 2026

Rock on, RHCP! no idea what this guy is saying half the time but this album still slaps. 8/10

Steve McQueen by Prefab Sprout
Apr 10 2026

This one surprised me!! Id like to return to listen to this again. It's got all the ingredients of 80s music that I like, so I think there's some stuff that will grow on me. 8/10

Machine Head by Deep Purple
Apr 14 2026

Some good ole 70s rock! Nothing crazy new or exciting to me here, but enjoyable nonetheless. 7/10

Electric Prunes by The Electric Prunes
Apr 15 2026

This was fine! I would rather listen to the stones or something. 5/10

Your Arsenal by Morrissey
Apr 16 2026

Unfortunately, this was good. Not as good as some of the smiths stuff, but still good. Yet again, the edgy problematic boys make good music 7/10

I Am a Bird Now by Antony and the Johnsons
Apr 17 2026

Not very memorable. 6/10

Definitely Maybe by Oasis
Apr 21 2026

Can't go wrong with oasis. This is really good! They get so much flack for wonderwall but I think this album shows their genuine talent. 8/10

Tical by Method Man
Apr 22 2026

This is not for me. Did not annoy me, but did not interest me. 5/10

Roxy Music by Roxy Music
Apr 23 2026

Wanted to like this... did not. 4/10

Apr 24 2026

I did not listen. I know i will not like this. Sorry Korn!

Violent Femmes by Violent Femmes
Apr 27 2026

The first song is definitely a tiktok sound now. I had no idea they made it! It was an interesting listen, kind of silly and unique. They got some spunky pizzazz and i can appreciate that. 6/10

Vol. 4 by Black Sabbath
May 14 2026

Damn thought i was going to hate this... but Tomorrow's dream changed my mind!! That crescendo!! Wow. And Laguna Sunrise felt like a warm hug!! I am so pleasantly surprised. 7/10

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
May 15 2026

LOVE THIS ALBUM!! I used to think it was "grocery store music" but I was just a fool as a child. I own this album CD and have it loaded in my car player right now :) 9/10

KIWANUKA by Michael Kiwanuka
May 18 2026

This was incredible!! I didn't know what to expect but it was a great journey to go on. Great, buttery voice, and fun adventurous rhythms blend together to create a theatrical experience. 8/10

L.A. Woman by The Doors
May 19 2026

I dunno about this one. I liked the beat of wasp, but I never trust a white man saying anything about... what he was talking about! Left a bad taste in my mouth, and that was the one song that really intrigued me. Not a huge fan of all the organ integration either. Meh. 5/10

Pieces Of The Sky by Emmylou Harris
May 20 2026

This was fine! Very country, very western, very folky. Not my favorite kind of music but she's clearly very talented. 5/10

Connected by Stereo MC's
May 21 2026

This had some fun and funky beats! Creation and All night long were some stand outs. I'm in a 90s club music phase so this definitely fit in that bucket, meaning I'm probably rating it higher than I would normally...7/10

Green by R.E.M.
May 22 2026

So good! chill, enjoyable rock. Nothing much else to say. 7/10

Disintegration by The Cure
May 25 2026

THIS!!! THIS IS IT!!! This is what I have been waiting for this whole project. Not that I knew it was coming - I was just waiting for the one album that would inevitably be my absolute favorite album. It is 80s perfection, making me nostalgic for a time I wasn't even around for. It brings me a special kind of joy AND melancholia. I wish I knew how to properly explain the experience I had while listening to it. I believe I will be relistening again and again, long into the future. 10/10

Dookie by Green Day
May 26 2026

no notes!!! Rager!!! 8/10

The Dreaming by Kate Bush
May 27 2026

Aw man, I really wanted to like this. I was so excited to see this was on the docket! Unfortunately all I could think about the whole time was that she sounds like Toad. Still very talented and the production was good, but I won't be returning. 6/10

Elvis Presley by Elvis Presley
May 29 2026

Cute! Reminds me of my grandma <3 6/10

You Want It Darker by Leonard Cohen
Jun 01 2026

I don't think I know the context of this artist to really enjoy this. He's talking very interesting poetry at me, but the production is not really for me. 5/10

Rock 'N Soul by Solomon Burke
Jun 02 2026

HECK YEAH THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!! incredibly good stuff. Bluesy goodness. 9/10

Duck Stab/Buster & Glen by The Residents
Jun 03 2026

I... had to give up. This was monstrously bad. Good god. 1/10

Fetch The Bolt Cutters by Fiona Apple
Jun 04 2026

Very interesting, and very listenable! Definitely feels like something that would've hit harder during COVID lockdown. 6/10

Everything Must Go by Manic Street Preachers
Jun 05 2026

Enjoyable but I'm not sure why this is on the list. I feel like I've heard all of this before. Stand outs are Australia and Further Away, and they all have great guitar riffs, but it doesn't feel special! 7/10

Van Halen by Van Halen
Jun 08 2026

Fine! Didn't hate it as much as I thought i was going to. I feel like I could Charleston to ice cream man... bonus points for that. 6/10

Music for the Masses by Depeche Mode
Jun 10 2026

Not my favorite album by them, but this was good pleasant listening. 7/10

Isn't Anything by My Bloody Valentine
Jun 11 2026

heck yeah that rocked, even if I had to go to YouTube to listen to it. I loved the guitars and the dramatic vibes across the record. 7/10

Henry's Dream by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Jun 12 2026

This was quite the surprise! Fun and dark and gravely and tough. 6/10

Axis: Bold As Love by Jimi Hendrix
Jun 15 2026

what a perfect journey! Very talented man, every song was unique and groovy and interesting. 9/10

Innervisions by Stevie Wonder
Jun 16 2026

Groovy <3 I think there's a lot to dig into in the lyrics, but I missed on the first listen through. 9/10

Blonde On Blonde by Bob Dylan
Jun 17 2026

The harmonica and i have beef now. 3/10

Pink Moon by Nick Drake
Jun 18 2026

This was beautiful, melodious and melancholic. Very calming and yet sad. What a soul. 8/10

Bug by Dinosaur Jr.
Jun 19 2026

Loud and fun! 6/10

Appetite For Destruction by Guns N' Roses
Jun 22 2026

Got some classics on here! Its fun but not something I want to listen to on the regular. 6/10

Meat Is Murder by The Smiths
Jun 23 2026

Short but certainly not sweet. The title track is alarmingly upsetting to listen to, so props to them to absolutely nailing the a horrific feeling in their music. 8/10

Immigrés by Youssou N'Dour
Jun 24 2026

Something unique! I wish there were more songs that were shorter, instead of 4 long songs. Got a little repetitive. 7/10

Beautiful Freak by Eels
Jun 25 2026

This was a wild ride. Very shocking and crazy lyrics at times, but the music itself is good! Your Lucky Day, Mental, and a couple other tracks stood out to me as really well done. The whole album ended up being a grower - 7/10

Cheap Thrills by Big Brother & The Holding Company
Jun 29 2026

Blues and rock n roll, can't ask for much more! Joplin's voice is not for me but I can respect this incredible album and her performance. 7/10

Jun 30 2026

Ooh baby this was fun! Crazy flow and beats! Grungy yet very obviously skillfully crafted. 7/10

S.F. Sorrow by The Pretty Things
Jul 01 2026

Idk not for me

Sound of Silver by LCD Soundsystem
Jul 02 2026

YIPPIE!! it was so cool to hear where a lot of my fav bands get their influence from. Incredible fun! 9/10

Quiet Life by Japan
Jul 03 2026

This was fantastic!! I can't believe I've never heard of them before. Definitely reminded me of new order and had all the poppy synths I enjoy. 9/10

Gorillaz by Gorillaz
Jul 06 2026

You know em and love em! Not much to complain about here. A little long for my taste but otherwise a great album. 8/10

Bat Out Of Hell by Meat Loaf
Jul 07 2026

"Did somebody say meatloaf?" - Fred Darts. Despite the legend, this is not for me. Its like tenacious D but from the 80s. 3/10

Exit Planet Dust by The Chemical Brothers
Jul 09 2026

This flip flopped between kinda cool and incredibly annoying. Perhaps I just wasn't in the mood. 4/10

Low by David Bowie
Jul 10 2026

Surprisingly fun and interesting. Don't think I was in the right mood for it but I can respect the hustle and innovation. 6/10

Queen II by Queen
Jul 14 2026

There's some good stuff on here! Funny How Love is came in as a surprise hit. Queen is still not really for me though. 6/10

Jul 15 2026

Needed this after the bleep bloop nonsense, but it might have been a swing too far in the other direction. The abundance of ethereal "ahs" was a bit much for me. 5/10

Can't Buy A Thrill by Steely Dan
Jul 16 2026

SAVE ME STEELY DAN, STEELY DAN SAVE ME!! chill, vibey, chill, incredible, chill, perfect. 9/10.

Atomizer by Big Black
Jul 17 2026

Ugh. Not for me 3/10

Songs Of Leonard Cohen by Leonard Cohen
Jul 20 2026

I liked this much more than the darker album. Very pleasant and good calming vibes. 7/10

Bayou Country by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Jul 21 2026

Instantly boosted my mood. Proud Mary keep on rolling!!! Hell yeah!! 8/10

Imagine by John Lennon
Jul 22 2026

oh the BLUES of it all! This is incredible, obviously. I Don't Wanna be a Soldier Mama is a banger of a song. Gimme Some Truth's guitar and Lennon's vocals are so rad. How Do You Sleep is so groovy and kind of sexy??? 10/10

Bright Flight by Silver Jews

Room Games and Diamond Rain had some very enjoyable keyboard diddies. The vocalist kind of reminds me of an indie folk version of the Front Bottoms, which I'm not sure I like, but I'm not sure I dislike. Hated Tennessee, unfortunately. Brought the rating down. 5/10

Wow this was great!! Fantastic work music, lots of interesting sounds and melodies. Big fan of the title track and carpet crawlers. Way too long though. 8/10

Not sure how to feel about this. Very beep boop in a way that is not super interesting to me, but I recognize the well crafted experimentation. 5/10

Heroes by David Bowie

Like everyone else, I love "Heroes" (the track). Joe the Lion was fun and rascally. Blackout makes me want to DANCE! The later half of the album is not as listenable, unfortunately. It's spooky and a bit unsettling, to be honest. 7/10

Physical Graffiti by Led Zeppelin

this was fine. Did not feel impassioned by it. 6/10

Sticky Fingers by The Rolling Stones

embarrassingly, I've never read the lyrics to Brown Sugar. What an awful song. definitely negatively impacted the rest of the album for me. Wild Horses is too much of a meme song now for me to fully enjoy either. However, it's truly a great album despite the low points. 7/10

Astral Weeks by Van Morrison

What a peaceful and joyful album! at least sonically. No idea what that man said throughout but the music itself made me happy. 8/10

Tracy Chapman by Tracy Chapman

Talking Bout a Revolution, Fast Car, Mountains O'Things and Why? are all incredible works! And the rest of the album is great as well. What a lovely voice she was gifted with! 9/10

This is the perfect late night vibey album. They were ahead of their time! 10/10

I liked it! the most popular song did a lot of heavy lifting though. 7/10

Bert Jansch by Bert Jansch

This is good rustic camping music. Or perhaps 4 am can't sleep music. 6/10

Ragged Glory by Neil Young & Crazy Horse

I fear I'm just not in the mood for this. No album needs multiple 10 minute long songs. It's not chill enough rock and its not heavy enough rock. DNF 4/10

Court And Spark by Joni Mitchell

Well this was lovely. I see why she's considered one of the best singer songwriters! Car on the Hill really stood out as a sonic highlight as well. 8/10

Jazz Samba by Stan Getz

I'm on a beach in South America. It's peaceful. Serene. I have a pina colada. Hammock swaying gently in the breeze. I have no where to be. Email hasn't been invented yet. No phone. I think this is paradise - and that's where this album takes me. 9/10

Buffalo Springfield Again by Buffalo Springfield

I'm not convinced on this one. The songs really are all different, but I don't know if I enjoy or dislike that experience. I'm not too keen on some of the songs too - Everydays has a terrible droning in the background (I think it's a string instrument?). I like Good Time Boy though! jazzy. 5/10.

Coat Of Many Colors by Dolly Parton

I am one of those people that says "I'll listen to anything but country". Turns out, that's not true. I do enjoy country! This album is a testament to that. The title track is so sweet and innocent, it made me cry. Then she follows it up with Traveling Man, which had me laughing out loud while still genuinely enjoying the tune. A short and sweet album with no skips. Thank you for this gift! Rest in peace, Dolly <3
