Very chill, pleasant, easy listening. Not sure I particularly enjoy Thom Yorke's voice, but it's not grating to me either. Don't think I'll return to this. 6/10.
For the purposes of this project, I will rate 9 or 10/10s 5 stars, 7 or 8/10s 4 stars, 5 or 6/10s 3 stars, 3 or 4/10s 2 stars, and 0, 1 or 2/10s 1 star
Not sure what I expected but this was incredibly pleasant. I feel like I'm slowly puffing on a cigar, rocking in a chair while watching the sunset over the mountain range. Faithful dog by my side. No where to be, nothing to do but enjoy the earth and its beauty. At peace. Definitely "grandpa" music but I genuinely enjoyed this. Stand out is Running Dry, but this is definitely a full album listening experience! 8/10
You just don't hear piano solos like this anymore! Watch that Man, We should spend the night together, and lady grinning soul were stand out hits. While this was definitely a fun listen, and he is extremely talented, the intentional dissonance and "avant-garde"-ness was sometimes a bit much for me. 7/10
HELL YEAH SOME SWINGING JAZZY TUNES! When it was over, I wanted there to be more. This was a delight, and the whole album was added to my Flow State playlist. Perfect working/background music that stimulates the mind. 9/10
An amazing listening experience. Obvious "Respect" is a standout, but the whole album is nothing but amazing songs. I loved it so much, I had to listen to more Aretha to satiate my craving for more of her voice. 9/10
I don't know about this one...the beats are good and groovy, they have good flow, but...it's not clicking for me. Maybe they just talked about sticking dicks in mouths and nuts too much. No respect for women here. I also did not like one of the synths they were using, way too high pitched for me. I did NOT like "F Wit Dre Day" at all. It wasn't all bad though, "Let Me Ride" was fun, and "The Day the [Neighbors] Took Over" was enjoyable for the most part. Sweet flute in Lil' Ghetto Boy. And even Stranded on Death Row was great, mainly because of Lady of Rage and a killer hard beat. 4/10
Nothing about this is very memorable. I liked "Time With You" but everything else just blended together. I am not sure why this made the list. Not bad, necessarily, just forgettable. 3/10
They sound like the Eagles, had the Eagles been a 90s grunge band. That closer rocked!! Not sure if I will return to this, but definitely a great listening experience. 6/10
The hits! Nostalgic but not exciting. Always a pleasant listen through though. 6/10
YEAH!! This rocked so hard. Love her voice, the raw grunge, the vibe, everything. "The Whore Hustlers..." and "This is love" really captured my attention. I actually did not like the one with Thom Yorke (surprise surprise, not the biggest radiohead fan) even though that's the most streamed song on the album. "Horses in my Dreams" was surprisingly very powerful to me too. 7/10
This was fun and enjoyable. I unfortunately don't have much to say, since it was background music while I cooked, but I could see myself returning to this for a similar situation. 7/10
This was...fine! They have great voices that harmonize well together, and it's very pleasant to listen to. Maybe just not for me. 6/10.
2 seconds in and I knew this would be a tough album to get through. I am the bagpipe's biggest op, and I don't really care for folk music in general, so this was a terrible combo for me. "I'm a Man you don't meet everyday" was almost pleasant listening though. The whole thing is giving "The Pirates who don't do anything" 2/10
A classic!! Every single song is so good and fun. Not a single bad thing to say here. 9/10
Another album where the music itself is fine, but I just don't care for the vocals. I did really like "Fooled Again" at least! 6/10
Fun, energetic, incredible, explosive, enrapturing, and so much more! Big big fan of this. Weird band name, but I suppose I can let that slide? 8/10
funky, groovy, fun and energetic. Another pleasant full listen. Nothing in particular stands out, but it's all good, so I'm not bummed out about that. 8/10
What a legend. Hurt and Desperado and We'll Meet Again are three of my favorites. Hauntingly beautiful stuff. 7/10
Kooks is fun and silly. I forgot about Changes too! It's interesting to hear an earlier work of his, even if it wasn't my favorite overall. 6/10
YES YES YES!!!! LOVE THIS!! every song is perfect and incredible and such a delight to my ears. Every next song that played I was like WOW LOVE! 10/10?????
this was good, but I'm definitely more of a New Order girl. It was fun to hear what the original band sounded like, and how elements of it would later live on. 6/10
I thought I would like this album more than I did. It really starts off strong with "Gimme Shelter" but then nothing else really spoke to me after. Still a good listen. 7/10
Not a big fan of this. Definitely did NOT like "just playing". Gross. I can appreciate the throughline of the story and the bars but I think it was just not meant for me. 5/10
Honestly thought this was very one-note as an album. I like that it's a little silly but every song just bled into the next. Nothing felt very unique at all! The one note is GOOD but just got boring after a while. 6/10
Meh...another fine but not super interesting album. Also, ended the album on a bad note with that weird, creepy song about a girl who looks older than she is. 5/10
This was really good! Very long, but very good. I don't think it's something I'd return to, but it was an amazing theatrical experience. Just a taaaad bit too long. 7/10

I didn't really get this album at first, I think it was too experimental and ethereal for the tasks I was doing when I was listening to it, but then I went on a walk through the woods and it suddenly clicked. I think this music was meant to be enjoyed in an outdoor environment, or at least not while you're packing. It also feels like an album that I would need to specifically pay attention to the lyrics, which I was not able to do this time around. Perhaps another, more focused listen through is in order. 6/10
This was pretty good album! Very country ish without being TOO country. I could enjoy this on a playlist but I don't think I'll be seeking them out. 6/10
This is fine. Definitely not as grand or majestic as the album with the orchestra. 5/10
Silly and funky, just what I'd expect from a Thundercat album. Honestly maybe a little bit TOO silly, even...everyone wants to be a cat? well yes! but I don't want to hear a song about it, I fear, even if it is groovy as all get out. 7/10
Man...I wanted to like this. It has all the elements that normally really do it for me - smooth sax, funky bass, and lofi background jazz qualities - but I was mostly just underwhelmed. Felt a bit too much like elevator jazz, and the music sounded dated too. 5/10
Oh yeah, now this is a good meal. I loved the blues vibe of "You Shook Me", and the rest of album was an enjoyable listen. Definitely can see myself on my balcony listening to this in the summer. 8/10
Hell yeah!!! This slapped. Prince is a genius and these are all amazing songs. I even like Lady Cab Driver, despite the bridge with the woman's moans incorporated. Normally that ruins a song for me, but this one made sense and didn't take away from the experience. I will be returning to this one! 9/10
This one is fun! I really liked the variety of sounds, especially the less common and unique ones. Very listenable and I could see myself putting this on during the summer days! 7/10
So good! Love the chill vibes and the smooth voices of this album. Id like to listen to this a lot more! Good for late night's and low key hangs. 9/10
Another winner! This album inspired me to make a 70s era Playlist for songs that make me feel like I'm walking across an open dusty field (in a romantic way) 9/10!
Oh this was surprisingly fun! Not sure about the lyrics to the first song, but each track was something I could see myself jamming out to in the gym or at the club or while crushing tasks at work. 8/10
Great background music. Calming, chill, nothing crazy happening here. 7/10
I dunno about this one. I don't really have anything to say about it. 5/10
There's some good stuff on here. George obviously has a lovely voice, and the instrumentation is very pleasant. Nothing super stand out but overall good. 7/10
