1001 Albums Summary

terrible man unfortunately, a banger album.

this is the unknown boxer coming out and just fucking flooring the champ in the first round. So much energy, joy, and even that early on, great hints of what a talent Alex Turner would turn into w/r/t songwriting. ☆☆☆☆☆

under-appreciated gem from my favorite band of all time. "Passive Manipulation," "White Moon," and "The Nurse " are my absolute favorites on here. It's like when you go from gas station coffee to a shot of espresso, or Miller High Life to a stout - a punch in the mug that leaves you befuddled, a bit in pain, but wanting to give it another try "just to make sure i *really* don't like it. PS if you know nothing else off the album, the movie ParaNorman used "Little Ghost" to delightful effect in its end credits. :)
