1001 Albums Summary

Cool setting for a live performance. Not my usual listening so it was a nice change of pace. Enjoyed it and may listen again but wont be regular. 3/5

The king of putting dismal lyrics in an upbeat package. 3

Good storytelling but not really my jam. 2/5

Not bad but didn’t do anything for me 2.5/5.

All pretty similar sounding but not bad. I feel like I should be listening on a radio instead of in wireless headphones. 3/5

Weird and didn’t get through it all 1/5

Listened to this once before and was impressed it was good the second time too.

I would rather listen to daft punk but it was ok

All around solid

Solid classic rock album 4/5

Just not great. Kinda spoken word off beat isn’t my vibe

Just kind of annoying. Would’ve been good if it was good.

Monthly listeners are too high for this one

The hits are just so good

Not their best. I love rumors but this left me kinda disappointed.

Very impressive for a live performance and how long it went. Overall good but not my thing

Just kinda mid

Couple bangers but all around solid.

Just a classic

I always see their name come up and think “they’re supposed to be good” and then am underwhelmed. Worse talking heads kinda

All around solid. Nothing super notable but enjoyed all of it

Cool harmonies

Kinda underwhelmed I expected more but overall solid

Pretty solid but a couple misses. Pretty long too

Just not really my thing. I felt like I should be in a wooden house on the prairie

So good. Let down is up there on my favorite songs of all time.

Idk how else to describe this other than it improved my mood

I could’ve gone my whole life without listening to this. Couldn’t make it all the way through

2 for 2 on Radiohead

Just weird. Kinda ska but just not on rhythm or anything

Overall solid. Don’t like it as much as some of their later stuff

If the dire straits have 0 fans that means I’m dead

Just not great and not for me

From a variety and amount of content perspective it’s impressive but I just didn’t think it was enjoyable to listen to

Couple hits but I wanted to like it more than i did

Forgettable but not miserable

Good beats but the lyrics were a little bizarre from time to time. Wanted to like it more

Very light

So many samples pulled from this album

Solid but liked yesterday more

Not his finest

Take on me carries but the rest is ok

Pre daft punk kinda. Overall enjoyed

There must come a time in a man’s development when Johnny cash suddenly becomes good. It probably correspondes with frontal lobe development. I remember listening to him occasionally when my dad would play him and thinking “I don’t get it this is boring”. And now listening to this I’m so grateful it came back around when I can appreciate and enjoy it

Almost Johnny cash

Just doesnt do it for me. I feel like I should like it but I just don’t

It’s all the same song

Worse beach house

Couple bangers

Not his best

Not his best

Free bird makes this an auto 4

The hits are insane and the rest is solid

Made me want to run through a brick wall

A hip to the hop and the hip hop hippity. Good rhymes but just sounds a little corny

Exactly what I needed today

Not his best but still good

Just not a Lou reed guy

Epic

Pretty good. Fun remakes of some yacht rock tunes
