Dark and atmospheric. Seems to run out of steam through the back half, but great energy on side A.

Fun album. The blues influence is front and center on this one.

Super chill album. I wouldn't say this is a consistent album, but the highs are spectacular, the lows are just kind of boring.

Not their best album, but it still rips. Listen to it as loud as possible.

Dylan just isn't my thing. I don't mind some of his stuff, but a whole album is just a slog.

Good album, the Speakerboxxx half runs circles around The Love Below. There's better Outkast albums, but I'm not mad about listening to this.

Doolittle came up first for me and I couldn't recall why I disliked the Pixies, listening to this album brought it all back. Musically, it's not bad, but the vocals strip all my enjoyment out of the experience. Just weird for weird's sake, I hate it.

The upbeat songs are fun, but there's not enough of them. The slower stuff just drags and grinds the album to a halt. Probably better served as music on in the background instead of being listened to intently.

This is wussy music for wusses, but damn it's catchy as hell. Do yourself a favor and listen to the covers of The Scientist by Aimee Mann and Willie Nelson, they both blow Coldplay's version out of the water.

Damn near perfect front to back

Not a Dylan fan, but this wasn't bad. Side A is much better than B, but that could be due to fatigue from listening to the whole thing.

Roadhouse Bluse, Peace Frog, and Maggie M'Gill are all great blues rock songs. It's all the other stuff I can't stand.

Moody and ethereal. It's good, but not a ton of variety in sound throughout.

This is a fun one, love the raw sound on it.

This was my first full Elvis album listen, really enjoyed it. He's got a great voice and the band is super solid.

This album had a stranglehold on me in college. Definitely sounds a little corny now, but can't deny how good this is.

Not the best Sonic Youth album, but they're still awesome.

Fun listen. Four Cornered Room kind of grinds the album to a halt, but everything else is enjoyable.

Not wall to wall hits like Morning Glory, but I'll never be mad about listening to this. Everything sounds like it was engineered to play as loud as possible.

The first 4 songs weren't bad, that may be the most Dylan I can take at a time. Ballad of a Thin Man and Highway 61 Revisited are incredibly weird songs.

Better than I was expecting. Felt like I was assembling a heist crew.

I haven't listened to him enough. Didn't know any of these songs, but they're all great.

ZZ Top shreds. They can't actually sing, most visible on I Need You Tonight, but anything in their typical yell/sing register works with the guitars so well. Makes me want to start ripping darts and work on my car.

Side A is great, side B is a noticeable drop off.

Admittedly, I'm not well versed in classic country, but I couldn't connect with this one. It sounded over-produced, especially compared to the country I have enjoyed, like George Jones and Willie Nelson. Several songs had really odd decisions made musically, like the abrupt tempo change on Cornbread Moon, or the sweeping minor key violin coming in really loud on Boxcars.

Obviously not his best, but this was a great listen. Very chill and lofi.

Not a word of his lyrics has aged well at all, but the flow's great. The whole piece struggles to provide a coherent message beyond shock value. I think he really had a hard time squaring the edginess and outsider stance that was an asset on the first album with his newfound fame.

Pretty boring. I'd rather listen to Don't Dream It's Over 14 times in a row.

Takes me back to middle school dances. Great album. They all come across so cool and in control. Super smooth musically and their voices work together so well.

Musically incredible. The lyrics are all nonsense, so I try not to pay attention and treat it like another instrument.

The OGs, love them. Not just solid on the messaging, but the musicality is good and interesting.

Really incredible that Dave Grohl was able to pick up the pieces post-Nirvana and singlehandedly create one of the best rock albums ever to exist on his first try. Even crazier that their style really hasn't changed all that much since the debut.

Definitely the best RHCP album. They're not totally my thing, but I enjoyed how funky this one gets.

The Stooges are so good. Great reminder to listen to more of them. Love the frenetic energy that flows throughout all their work. None of their songs should be over 3:30, but even the longer ones aren't bad.

Never heard of Ride before, but I liked it. The whole album is decent, but especially Dreams Burn Down sounds like what Deafheaven was going for on their excellent Infinite Granite album.

For me, this band lives and dies on the guitars. The songs where they let the guitars loose to shred are fantastic. When they bottle them up and put something else to the foreground is where they lost me.

Full of hits. I've got to be in a much more chill state to tolerate all the instrumental tracks. Skipped most of them on my listen today because I wasn't feeling it, but they're not bad.

An absolute classic. This album was such a good gateway to punk for kids of my generation. Melodic enough to not turn you off, but still rough around the edges and simple enough to give you a good idea of what the genre could offer.

It's fine. Not a bad listen, but I couldn't bring myself to get excited for any of the non-singles.

The singles are so good, but a lot of the rest of the album sounds very one-note. Still a good listen, but was hoping for more.

I so want to be a jazz guy, but this does not do anything for me. So slow and plodding.

The vocals are so good that I don't really care about the sparse production on the music.

RIP Dolly. What voices, man this is an easy listen.

Never listened to her, besides the ones everyone has heard. Really enjoyed it. Great voice.
