Never liked Oasis, tried my best to give it a proper go in good faith. True to form, it opens with two of the worst songs I’ve ever heard. After listening to them both, I felt like there was just a little less colour in the world.
I’ll concede, songs 5-7 have their moments and so does Slide Away, but I always feel like I’m trying my best to ignore the vocals so I can enjoy the rest which at times is pretty cool.
They’ve never been for me, not the worst album I’ve ever heard but also didn’t change my mind.
Bit dull
Maybe not too many standout tunes outside of Stairway to Heaven but that’s an all timer and just a really cool sound to the whole album.
Usually don’t mind a bit of jazz but wasn’t in to this at all
Bono’s voice has never been for me. Some cool parts of songs here and there though.

Good album, felt like I might have been a bit too sober to enjoy it to its full potential. Second last song was a belter.
Bit Bowie, Bit Disney villain, Bit Eurovision ballad. All of these are compliments. Not sure why I liked it so much. I think I know it’s a bit shite but that might be why I liked it? Got better as it went. Songs of Love is a tune.
Good album. Didn’t really do anything super exciting but it’s too solid to give it lower than 3.

Not for me overall but definitely had moments, some very cool guitar bits mixed in there
Always takes adjustment listening to the early stuff without Bruce but a cracking album
